The introduction of ancient glass products, to a large extent, promoted the economic development at that time, but due to the influence of burial environment, a glass product was weathered, which brought great challenges to archaeologists. Therefore, it is particularly important to study the composition of ancient glass products. In this paper, multiple models are established for analysis, providing a certain reference for archaeologists.

A series of novel trifluoromethylative thiolations of alkene are realized by using visible light as a driving force and iron salts as a catalyst, and 1,2-bis(trifluoromethylated) compounds could be obtained in moderate to good yields. These multicomponent protocols proceed in an atom-economical way with a broad substrate scope. Biologically active chemicals can also be tolerated to provide desired products, suggesting that the catalytic protocol could be viable for late-stage modification in pharmaceutical discovery. At last, flow-setup synthesis of the desired product is successfully applied on a gram scale, indicating the synthetic power of these reactions in industrial applications.

Due to the multiscale characteristics of ship targets in ORSIs (optical remote sensing images), ship target detection in ORSIs based on depth learning is still facing great challenges. Aiming at the low accuracy of multiscale ship target detection in ORSIs, this paper proposes a ship target detection algorithm based on multiscale feature enhancement based on YOLO v4. Firstly, an improved mixed convolution is introduced into the IRes (inverted residual block) to form an MIRes (mixed inverted residual block). The MIRes are used to replace the Res (residual block) in the deep CSP module of the backbone network to enhance the multiscale feature extraction capability of the backbone network. Secondly, for different scale feature maps’ perception fields, feature information, and the scale of the detected objects, the multiscale feature enhancement modules—SFEM (small scale feature enhancement module) and MFEM (middle scale feature enhancement module)—are proposed to enhance the feature information of the middle- and low-level feature maps, respectively, and then the enhanced feature maps are sent to the detection head for detection. Finally, experiments were implemented on the LEVIR-ship dataset and the NWPU VHR-10 dataset. The accuracy of the proposed algorithm in ship target detection reached 79.55% and 90.70%, respectively, which is improved by 3.25% and 3.56% compared with YOLO v4.

Except for conventional functions, special textiles doped with nanoscale particles have shown quite attractive properties, such as antibacterial activity, deodorization, hydrophobicity, and ultraviolet/electromagnetic protection. However, facile and reliable methods for quality assessment of those functional nano-textiles are remarkably demanded for market surveillance and consumer protection. Herein, a novel detection method of silver in textiles was established for the comprehensive detection and a practical flow chart was also demonstrated as an experimental pathway including pretreatment, qualitative and quantitative analysis. The optimal ashing parameter (450°C for 1 h) in the pretreatment process was explored to improve detection sensitivity. The qualitative analysis was performed through X-ray diffraction for crystallinity, scanning electron microscopy for morphology, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) for elements. The real existent status of the silver components could be decided via the flow chart. As shown with the detected sample, the content was calculated by the weight loss at 1050–1500°C from thermogravimetric analysis measurement and the accuracy of the quantitative process was also checked via inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Finally, the detection limit of the method was investigated up to μg/g. The obvious advantage of the reported method was facile and reliable to achieve comprehensive identification from the dimension scale and crystal form to the component. Moreover, this analytical strategy could be also applied for the detection of other nanoscale metals or metal oxides in functional textiles.

Background. Cervical Carcinoma (CC) is the second most common cause of death in women, with most patients being diagnosed at an advanced stage. The conventional treatment for CC, with a long chemotherapy treatment cycle, is less than satisfactory and will cause serious damage to the patient’s blood vessels. Objective. To analyze the impact of the clinical nursing pathway (CNP) on the incidence of complications and adverse prognosis in patients undergoing chemotherapy for CC via peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC). Materials and Methods. This study enrolled 157 CC patients who underwent PICC chemotherapy in the Shaanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital between March 2017 and April 2020 and assigned them between the two groups according to different nursing interventions. Ninety-three patients treated with CNP intervention were included in the research group (RG), and sixty-four cases treated with the routine nursing intervention were included in the control group (CG). The self-care ability and intervention satisfaction of patients were assessed using the self-care ability scale and the intervention satisfaction questionnaire, respectively, both developed by our hospital. The complication rate was observed in both cohorts, and the adverse prognosis of patients was statistically analyzed. Finally, an assessment was made on the patients’ quality of life (QOL) using the quality of life questionnaire core 30 (QLQ-C30). Results. Higher scores of self-management information, catheter nursing ability, self-care compliance, and abnormal situation management were determined in RG after the nursing intervention. RG also outperformed CG in the overall incidence rates of complications and poor prognosis. Moreover, RG presented statistically higher nursing satisfaction and QLQ-C30 scores than CG after the nursing intervention. Conclusion. CNP has a significant nursing effect on patients with CC treated with PICC chemotherapy, which can not only reduce the incidence of postchemotherapy complications but also improve patient prognosis, satisfaction, and life quality, with the value for clinical promotion.

Polyimide (PI) films with excellent mechanical and electrical properties were produced at a low temperature assisted by microwave. Depending on the reciprocating movement of dipole molecules excited by microwave, even though under a low temperature, the rotation and conformational changes of functional groups could also be promoted. Thus, reaction between N-H bond and -OH in carboxyl which could realize dehydration and cyclization of polyamic acid proceeded normally. Results revealed that the combination between ambient temperature only at 70°C and microwave power at 2000 W or higher could also produce PI films with imidization degree of 100%. For PI-2000W, compared with traditional PI film (PI-300°C) that generated only at temperature of 300°C, even though on the basis of no any change in molecular structure and addition of filler, the tensile strength, elastic modulus, crystallinity, and apparent density increased by about 21%, 51%, 37%, and 5%, respectively. For electrical properties, conductivity enhanced by one to two orders of magnitude comparing with PI-300°C. Results indicated that while keeping the original molecular structure of PI films unchanged, this work provided a new and effective method to assist the enhancement in mechanical and electrical properties of PI films.

Puccinia striiformis Westend. f. sp. tritici (Pst) pathotype CYR34 is widely virulent and prevalent in China. Here, we report identification of a strpie rust resistance (Yr) gene, designated Yr041133, in winter wheat line 041133. This line produced a hypersensitive reaction to CYR34 and conferred resistance to 13 other pathotypes. Resistance to CYR34 in line 041133 was controlled by a single dominant gene. Bulked segregant RNA sequencing (BSR-Seq) was performed on a pair of RNA bulks generated by pooling resistant and susceptible recombinant inbred lines. Yr041133 was mapped to a 1.7 cM genetic interval on the chromosome arm 7BL that corresponded to a 0.8 Mb physical interval (608.9–609.7 Mb) in the Chinese Spring reference genome. Based on its unique physical location Yr041133 differred from the other Yr genes on this chromosome arm.

This article proposes a methodology and model to optimize the torque of the torsional electromagnetic actuators. Specifically, the analytical expression of the torque is derived, and then optimization of coil’s configuration and the size of the permanent magnet are investigated based on this, which is of great significance to improve the torque and reduce driving current. Additionally, three times of device’s torque performance is achieved when testing the fabricated samples with different sizes of permanent magnets. The experimental results, finite element simulation, and theoretical analysis are in good agreement, illustrating the reliability, practicality, and simplicity of the proposed methodology in a wide range of magnetic actuators.

Bees dance to deliver food vectors that contain information regarding distance gauging and spatial orientation. The eastern honey bee, Apis cerana, also transmits this vector information through waggle dance. Although many reports have published on this topic, changes in dance parameters of A. cerana that occur at different distances are unclear. Herein, we filmed the bees’ foraging dance at different distances until the bees stopped collecting food, analyzed these videos frame by frame, and set a feeder in four cardinal directions to record the changes in bees’ dance with the azimuth of the sun. The duration and number of waggle runs of the dancers significantly correlated with the distance from hive to feeder. The dance parameter exhibited a linear model with distance. As the sun’s azimuth changed, the angle of the waggle run changed counterclockwise. We elucidate how to combine distance and direction to calibrate the spatial distribution of the resource location advertised by dance. Finally, we discuss the dance and navigation of long-distance collection and provide a basis for further understanding of the foraging ecological strategies of eastern honeybee.

Winter wheat line Tianmin 668 was crossed with susceptible cultivar Jingshuang 16 to develop 216 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) for dissecting its adult-plant resistance (APR) and all stage resistance (ASR) against powdery mildew. The RIL population was genotyped on a 16K Genotyping by Target Sequencing (GBTS) SNP array and phenotyped in six field trials and in the greenhouse. Three loci, QPmtj.caas-2BL, QPmtj.caas-2AS, and QPmtj.caas-5AL, conferring APR to powdery mildew, were detected on chromosomes 2BL, 2AS, and 5AL of Tianmin 668, respectively. The effect of resistance to powdery mildew for QPmtj.caas-2BL was greater than that of the other two loci. A Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR (KASP) marker specific for QPmtj.caas-2BL was developed and verified on 402 wheat cultivars or breeding lines. Results of virulence/avirulence patterns to 17 Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici (Bgt) isolates, bulked segregant analysis-RNA-sequencing (BSR-Seq), and a genetic linkage mapping identified a resistance allele at locus Pm4 in Tianmin 668 based on the seedling phenotypes of the RIL population. The PCR-based DNA sequence alignment and co-segregation of the functional marker with the phenotypes of the RIL population demonstrated that Pm4d was responsible for the ASR to isolate Bgt1 in Tianmin 668. The dissection of genetic loci for APR and ASR may facilitate the application of Tianmin 668 in developing powdery mildew-resistant wheat cultivars.
