Remaja sering dipenuhi dengan berbagai persoalan seperti masalah Kesehatan reproduksi dan anemia. Menjaga kesehatan reproduksi adalah hal yang sangat penting, terutama pada remaja. Kurangnya edukasi terhadap hal yang berkaitan dengan reproduksi nyatanya bisa memicu terjadinya hal-hal yang tak diinginkan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu para remaja untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mereka tentang kesehatan reproduksi sehingga mampu untuk menjaga diri dan terhindar dari masalah Kesehatan reproduksi. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah dalam bentuk : 1) penyuluhan kesehatan tentang Kesehatan reproduksi menggunakan media video, power point dan LCD; 2) Pembagian Vitamin C dan tablet zat besi (Fe). Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu tanggal 04 Maret 2023 pukul 11.00-12.30 WITA, bertempat di sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Amabi Oefeto, Kabupaten Kupang-Nusa Tenggara Timur. Sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas X dan XI yang berumur 15-17 tahun. Jumlah siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini sebanyak 61 siswa. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah materi penyuluhan yang diberikan sudah cukup baik untuk menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa, terbukti dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre dan Post-test. Vitamin C dan tablet Fe yang diberikan juga setidaknya dapat meningkatkan Kesehatan siswa. Perlu adanya penyuluhan yang serupa dan rutin dilaksanakan kepada siswa khususnya yang ada di pedesaan.

La pandemia de COVID-19 ha expuesto la brecha digital y el limitado dominio tecnopedagógico del profesorado. Para mejorar la enseñanza de fracciones, se capacitó a treinta profesores de educación primaria en el uso del manipulativo virtual Fraction Strips. Se utilizó la fenomenología para valorar sus experiencias de aprendizaje y se registraron las dinámicas de apropiación tecnológica. Los resultados mostraron una apropiación significativa del manipulativo, la importancia de las representaciones múltiples en la comprensión conceptual de las fracciones y la promoción de aprendizajes significativos y por descubrimiento. En conclusión, la capacitación mejoró las competencias digitales y las prácticas pedagógicas de los profesores.

Snakebite clinical trials have often used heterogeneous outcome measures and there is an urgent need for standardisation. A globally representative group of key stakeholders came together to reach consensus on a globally relevant set of core outcome measurements. Outcome domains and outcome measurement instruments were identified through searching the literature and a systematic review of snakebite clinical trials. Outcome domains were shortlisted by use of a questionnaire and consensus was reached among stakeholders and the patient group through facilitated discussions and voting. Five universal core outcome measures should be included in all future snakebite clinical trials—mortality, WHO disability assessment scale, patient-specific functional scale, acute allergic reaction by Brown criteria, and serum sickness by formal criteria. Additional syndrome-specific core outcome measures should be used depending on the biting species. This core outcome measurement set provides global standardisation, supports the priorities of patients and clinicians, enables meta-analysis, and is appropriate for use in low-income and middle-income settings.

Objectives: Previous studies have reported that people with disabilities are more likely to be impoverished and affected by excessive medical costs than people without disabilities. Public transfer income (PTI) reduces financial strain in low-income households. This study examined the impact of PTI on catastrophic health expenditures (CHE), focusing on low-income households and households with Medical Aid beneficiaries that contained people with disabilities.Methods: We constructed a panel dataset by extracting data on registered households with disabilities from the Korea Welfare Panel Study 2012-2019. We then used a generalized estimating equation model to estimate the impacts of PTI on CHE. A subgroup analysis was carried out to assess the moderating effects of family income levels and health insurance types.Results: As PTI increased, the odds ratio (OR) of CHE in households that contained people with disabilities decreased significantly (OR, 0.92; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.89 to 0.94; ppp

Our group has recently developed an α-fluoroamine synthesis using dioxaphospholenes derived from various 1,2-diketones and the dealkylation-resistant phosphoramidite as carbene surrogates, enabling the formal insertion into the N–F bond of (PhSO2)2NF. This full account presents the scope and limitations in terms of the reactivity and the site selectivity; these were rationalized through computational analysis. In addition, the efforts to broaden the synthetic utility of the current process by incorporating other nitrogen nucleophiles and halogen electrophiles are described.

The purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's perception of character development in normal students and children with special needs in an elementary school in Palangka Raya. The role of the teacher in this school is important for the creation of the character or personality of the students. This research method is a qualitative method by finding sources through interviews, then factualizing it, then creating themes that are close to the author's research. The results of the study show that teachers work hard and take their time to achieve these tasks both inside and outside of school in terms of intelligence, morals and character.

Background: Screening for diabetic foot complications is often neglected, especially during routine and/or annual diabetes check-ups. We assessed the risk of diabetic foot complications among patients with type 2 diabetes in Kenya using the International Working Group on Diabetic Foot risk stratification guidelines to highlight the need for improved foot care. Methods: We conducted a descriptive cross-sectional study in Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kenya between July and October 2015. Seven hundred patients with type 2 diabetes were identified and 147 were systematically sampled. A trained podiatrist examined patients, and urine and blood samples were taken for biochemical tests and assessed by the investigating team. Results: In total, 44(29.9%) men and 103(70.1%) women were sampled; 75(51.0%) were aged over 55 years, 113(76.9%) were overweight/obese, 117(79.6%) had poor glycaemic control and 125(85%) had never had their feet screened for complications. Thirty participants (20.4%) were categorised as being at high risk for developing diabetic foot complications while 54(36.7%) had moderate risk, 53(36.1%) had low risk and 10(6.8%) had no risk. Compared to other risk groups, those with moderate risk for developing diabetic foot problems had higher mean levels of glycated haemoglobin (9.4%), albumin-creatinine ratio (50.3) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (1.4 mmol/L) at presentation. No other differences in clinical and laboratory profiles were noted. Conclusion: Our results show high rates of obesity, and poor glycaemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes and 56.5% of patients are categorised as being a moderate-to-high risk for foot problems. This highlights the need for healthcare professionals and patients in Kenya to be sensitised regarding the importance of foot screening to prevent lower-extremity complications.

The elements that we knew in the Universities in which large groups of students were summoned ceased to be operable. The systems based on face-to-face and distance education were strongly ascending but at a slow pace. The present study had the purpose of recognizing the context, scenarios and challenges experienced after the pandemic confinement that give way to the consideration of moving from the traditional classroom to hybrid education. For this purpose, a non-experimental, exploratory, descriptive and quantitative research was carried out under a conceptual, theoretical and observational methodology, which allowed the application of an instrument with validity and reliability that measured, according to the criterion of perception. The results show the achievements expressed by the students, where they highlighted the degree of contribution of the didactic strategies, as well as the contribution to the comprehension, analysis and debate, emphasizing the collaborative conception and that an adequate personalized feedback was provided by the teacher. The great challenges to be faced in relation to the implementation of a hybrid classroom model, let's consider transforming an educational model into a hybrid one that allows to effectively harmonize both face-to-face and distance students, with the support of online materials and resources. Considering the factor of opportunity and equity towards students, finally the latent threat of insufficient resources that generates uncertainty for proper academic planning.

Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) is an important regulator of joint homeostasis, of which dysregulation is closely associated with the development of osteoarthritis (OA). In normal conditions, its biological functions in a joint environment are joint protective, but it can be dramatically altered in different contexts, making its therapeutic application a challenge. However, with the deeper insights into the TGF-β functions, it has been proven that TGF-β augments cartilage regeneration by chondrocytes, and differentiates both the precursor cells of chondrocytes and stem cells into cartilage-generating chondrocytes. Following documentation of the therapeutic efficacy of chondrocytes augmented by TGF-β in the last decade, there is an ongoing phase III clinical trial examining the therapeutic efficacy of a mixture of allogeneic chondrocytes and TGF-β-overexpressing cells. To prepare cartilage-restoring chondrocytes from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), the stem cells are differentiated mainly using TGF-β with some other growth factors. Of note, clinical trials evaluating the therapeutic efficacy of iPSCs for OA are scheduled this year. Mesenchymal stromal stem cells (MSCs) have inherent limitations in that they differentiate into the osteochondral pathway, resulting in the production of poor-quality cartilage. Despite the established essential role of TGF-β in chondrogenic differentiation of MSCs, whether the coordinated use of TGF-β in MSC-based therapy for degenerated cartilage is effective is unknown. We herein reviewed the general characteristics and mechanism of action of TGF-β in a joint environment. Furthermore, we discussed the core interaction of TGF-β with principal cells of OA cell-based therapies, the chondrocytes, MSCs, and iPSCs. Impact Statement Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) has been widely used as a core regulator to improve or formulate therapeutic regenerative cells for degenerative joints. It differentiates stem cells into chondrocytes and improves the chondrogenic potential of differentiated chondrocytes. Herein, we discussed the overall characteristics of TGF-β and reviewed the comprehension and utilization of TGF-β in cell-based therapy for degenerative joint disease.

This paper aims to describe the glocalisation phenomena of English expressions found on minivans as a means of public transport in Kupang city of Indonesia. This is a linguistic landscape study. The use of English on public minivans is an easily observable thing for people of Kupang because, basically, the public vehicles in Kupang are attractively designed with a lot of symbolic and linguistic objects. The data in this study were collected through picture-taking techniques and interviews. The data were analysed using an interdisciplinary approach under linguistics studies. Results show that English use on public minivans is predominantly characterized by language errors (38%) and variations (62%). The high percentage of language errors and variations on the minivans probably indicates both low English proficiency among those involved in the transportation business and Kupang people as a creative but careless society. Moreover, the appearance of the English expressions serves a number of functions such as English attractiveness, Pragmatics, Social criticism, fashionability, customers’ ease with vehicles’ identification, and religiosity. Although English in this domain shows a typical style developed by Kupang people, for a number of reasons, it cannot be assumed as a new English variety that is coming into existence.

Objectives: Economic hardship has a serious impact on adolescents’ mental health. The financial impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic was more severe for low-income families, and this also impacted adolescents. This study aimed to examine the associations of economic deterioration (ED) caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and low socioeconomic status (SES) with adolescents’ suicidal behaviors.Methods: This study analyzed data from the 2020 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, which included 54 948 middle and high school students. Odds ratios (ORs) of suicidal ideation, suicidal planning, and suicide attempts related to ED and SES were calculated using multivariable logistic regression. We calculated relative excess risks due to interaction to assess additive interactions.Results: The ORs for suicidal ideation, suicidal planning, and suicide attempts related to combined severe ED and low SES were 3.64 (95% confidence interval [CI], 3.13 to 4.23), 3.88 (95% CI, 3.09 to 4.88), and 4.27 (95% CI, 3.21 to 5.69), respectively.Conclusions: ED and low SES were significantly associated with suicidal behaviors in adolescents. Although no significant additive interaction was found, the ORs related to suicidal ideation, suicidal planning, and suicide attempts were highest among adolescents from low-income families with severe ED. Special attention is needed for this group, considering the increased impact of economic inequality due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mung bean is one of the world’s most important legume crops and is a major protein source, particularly in developing countries. Various polyphenolic compounds and nutrients accumulate in mung bean sprouts during germination. Mung bean sprouts are consumed globally as an excellent food source of bioactive phenolic compounds. The contents of phenols and flavonoids and antioxidant activity were monitored for four days after germination under four different spraying conditions using three mung bean cultivars. On the third day after germination, the sprout extract showed the highest antioxidant capacity. The length and thickness of hypocotyl of mung bean sprouts appeared to be the most suitable for consumption on the third day after germination. Using high-performance liquid chromatography analysis, eight phytochemicals were identified, and neochlorogenic acid was identified for the first time in mung bean sprouts. End products (neochlorogenic acid, chlorogenic acid, vitexin, and isovitexin) showed certain trends in their contents for four days, while intermediates (caffeic acid, catechin, syringic acid, and p-coumaric acid) were highly responsive to watering condition and cultivars. Watering interval significantly affected the length of root and lateral root development. Both cultivars and watering conditions and/or their interaction significantly affected the biochemical and physical traits of mung bean sprouts. The results suggest that watering conditions need to be considered as an important factor to improve food quality of mung bean sprouts. Our phenotypic and metabolic profiling would provide potential information for production of mung bean sprouts that fit consumers’ preferences.

Pegagan leaf is a popular medicinal plant widely found in Indonesia. Pegagan can also be used in food and beverage products, such as mochi ice cream. This study aims to determine the physical properties (color and textures) and antioxidant capacity of mochi ice cream with different pegagan leaf extract concentrations of 20, 30, and 40 percent. This experimental study used a CRD (Completely Randomized Design), with treatment carried out twice for each concentration. The data obtained were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test. If a real difference was observed, then the DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) was carried out. The results showed that the highest color brightness (L) mochi ice cream was obtained from a 20 percent concentration of pegagan leaf extract. The highest level of greenish color (a-) was obtained from 40 percent pegagan leaf extract, while the highest level of yellowish color (b+) was obtained from 20 percent pegagan leaf extract. The highest textures was obtained from a concentration of 20 percent pegagan leaf extract, and the highest antioxidant capacity was obtained from 40 percent pegagan leaf extract. Therefore, pegagan leaf extract concentration affects mochi ice cream's color, textures, and antioxidant content.

Sultan Agung Stadium is one of Indonesia's premier league stadiums and international standards with a subsurface drainage system. Subsurface drainage is considered to be very efficient compared to surface drainage. However, during heavy rains, there are still some puddles on the surface of the football field. The presence of puddles is a massive problem in a football match because it can block the flow of the ball. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the drainage system of the Sultan Agung Stadium football field in terms of the diameter, depth, and distance between the subdrain pipes. The data analyzed include soil, rainfall, and drainage dimension data. Soil data was used to analyze the infiltration test, soil porosity, and permeability. Rainfall data is used for hydrological analysis by determining the design rainfall at 2, 5, and 10-year return periods, and drainage dimension data is used for hydraulics analysis by determining the pipe capacity and drain layer. Based on the results of this study, a pipe with a diameter of 6 inches with a distance of 5 m cannot overcome inundation during the 10-year return period. Variations in depth and distance between drainage pipes are known to have an effect on inundation that occurs in the field. By reducing the distance to 4m, the inundation that occurs can be resolved

The level of submicroscopic representation can be cause of difficulty in learning chemistry, so that interest and understanding of chemistry concept is low. In overcoming this, innovative learning media are needed that are able to visualize and make it easier to understand abstract concepts, especially on the subtopic of the effect of reactant’s concentration and catalyst on the chemical rate reactions. This research aims to create product in the form of Augmented Reality assisted by Assemblr Edu that is valid, effective, and practical. This study is Research and Development that uses ADDIE development model and involves 10 prospective chemistry teacher students. Research instruments include validation sheets, test items, and response questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Aiken's V and descriptive statistic. The results showed that: (1) product have fulfilled very valid criteria with average percentage of 92% with aspect of product presentation and use are 92% (very valid), content aspect of 94% (very valid); language aspect by 92% (very valid); (2)average test score of respondents after using the product is 70 which indicates that product is classified as effective; and (3)average response to the product is 90% indicating that the product is very good and classified as very practical. The product is feasible to use and can support the mastery of technology-based concept, especially in the subtopic of the effect of reactant’s concentration and catalyst on chemical rate reactions.

Reliable results for the fine particulate matter (PM2.5) predictions are very useful for air policy establishment to reduce air pollution and adverse health effects caused by PM2.5. To this end, it is necessary to establish reliable emission input data for air quality models based on air pollutants' emission inventory data. In this study, we examine the characteristics of major air pollutants emitted from various emission sources in the southeast region in Korea, one of the four regions being recognized as the air pollution is serious, using a gathered information on recent 10-year's air emissions. In addition, we search the points to be carefully considered for the development of the detailed modeling emission inventory necessary for the reliable predictions of PM2.5 in the Southeast region. Consistent and long-term monitoring and understanding spatiotemporal distributions of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere and local emission sources are essential to achieve the carbon neutrality by 2050. Quantifying accurate spatiotemporal CO2 enhancements is uneasy task because of its relatively long lifetimes in the atmosphere compared with methane and nitrogen dioxide. If the observatory is situated close to the area affected by transboundary air pollutants and local emission sources (e.g., cities, power plant, industrial areas etc.), estimating CO2 enhancements are even more challenging. Satellite CO2 observations are powerful to examine local to regional CO2 enhancements from the emission hotspot regions with wider spatial coverage compared with ground-based observatory. Especially, NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory-3 (OCO-3) has demonstrated its feasibility to quantify local CO2 emissions from the emission hotspots. To better understand source-sink characteristics of CO2 in South Korea, we examined spatiotemporal distributions in local CO2 enhancements of the several hotspots from the OCO-3 Level 2 bias-corrected column-averaged dry-air mole fractions of CO2 (XCO2) v10.4r. We determined CO2 enhancements utilizing monthly climatology statistics from the Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) XCO2, Anmyeon-do (36.5382◦N, 126.3311◦E) in South Korea, subtracted from OCO-3 XCO2 at each pixel. We used FTS-XCO2 measurements from the update Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON) GGG2020 retrieval algorithm. Our preliminary results suggest that CO2 enhancements over the major hotspots in South Korea showed wide ranges from -5 ~ 12 ppm measured from Snapshot Area Maps (SAMs) measurement modes. This large variability may be associated with the definition of enhancement determination, geographical location, and seasonal wind characteristics. We will discuss these potential error sources of uncertainties and how we can enhancement estimates to better quantify CO2 emissions. We anticipate our study provide insights for the robust and reliable quantifications of CO2 enhancements, establish an advanced level of the greenhouse gases and air quality monitoring strategy in South Korea.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere has increased mainly due to anthropogenic fossil fuel emissions, resulting in accelerating global warming and increasing climate variability. Atmospheric chemical transport models are powerful tools for understanding mechanisms between emission/sink and the spatiotemporal distribution of atmospheric CO2.We aim to provide information on GEOS-Chem CO2 simulation to assess the mitigation strategies over East Asia under future emission scenarios. To achieve this, we first need to evaluate the model performance of the global simulation. We investigated trends and characteristics of atmospheric CO2 from the model with ground-based in-situ observations from the World Data Centre for Greenhouse Gases; (WDCGG), Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON), and satellite observations (e.g., the Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite; GOSAT, the Orbiting Carbon Observatory 2; OCO-2).Overall, modeled CO2 concentrations showed reasonable seasonal, annual amplitudes, and spatiotemporal distributions. They also agreed well with ground-based observations and satellite observations. Our global simulation was highly correlated with in-situ observations (Index of agreement (IOA) ≈ 0.9), and also showed excellent performance (Correlation coefficient (R) > 0.9) compared with satellite observations. Our study provides broad information on global simulation to identify features of monitoring measurements and modeling. We anticipate that our model configuration is capable of studying future emission scenarios in East Asia.

Knowledge Management sangat penting digunakan dalam mengelola institusi pendidikan sebab dapat memberi manfaat pada bidang operasi dan pelayanan, dapat meningkatkan kompetensi personal, serta dapat digunakan untuk memelihara ketersediaan pengetahuan, innovasi serta pengembangan produk. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan beberapa hal yakni menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif melalui penerapan Knowledge Management pada institusi Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Ungaran, meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas tata kelola manajemen produktivitas kerja tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di lingkungan SMK, mengajarkan implementasi Knowledge Management berbasis online menggunakan perangkat teknologi internet melalui beberapa kelas online yang dibuat. Kelas online merupakan istilah yang mudah untuk dipelajari dan digunakan serta diimplementasikan pada aktivitas di dalam lingkungan SMK. Kelas online yang dibentuk dapat digunakan oleh berbagai pihak dalam lingkup sekolah mengelola kelompok atau departemennya masing-masing. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini melibatkan seluruh sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh mitra yang berlangsung selama 2 semester.

Kedungwuluh Village is a Government service unit at the smallest level. This study analyzes the barriers to implementing e-Government, focusing on the use of the Kedungwuluh village website. This study uses a Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) approach. While the ease of technology for the community and public knowledge about the village website have a low score so that it becomes an obstacle in implementing the implementation of the Kedungwuluh Village website. The results of this study indicate that technology readiness, technological convenience for the government, technology benefits, leadership commitment, human resource readiness have good scores While the ease of technology for the community and public knowledge about the village website have a low score so that it becomes an obstacle in implementing the implementation of the Kedungwuluh Village website. Recommendations to help the Kedungwuluh Village Government are by conducting periodic socialization and educate to the community so that people understand the use of the Kedungwuluh Village website.

Undang-undang nomor 2 tahun 2011 tentang perubahan atas Undang-undang nomor 2 tahun 2008 tentang Partai Politik menyatakan “Pendidikan politik adalah proses pembelajaran tentang hak, kewajiban dan tanggung jawab setiap warga negara dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Politik sering diartikan sebagai seni atau ilmu untuk meraih kekuasaan, pada pratiknya banyak timbul penyimpangan-penyimpangan dalam rangka memperoleh kekuasaan itu sendiri. Pemuda sebagai generasi penerus yang akan memegang tampuk kepemimpinan kedepan, tentu harus melek politik, tidak hanya politik praktis, tetapi juga menentukan arah kemajuan negara. Tujuan dilakukanya pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa di Sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Swasta, Pesantren Baitul Arqam Sibreh tentang pendidikan politik, pemahaman bagi siswa Sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Swasta, di Pesantren Baitul Arqam Sibreh tentang politik. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah menunjukan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman, ditandai dengan partisipasi peserta yang mengajukan pertanyaan sesuai dengan materi penyuluhan hukum. Diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan pengetahuan peserta dan dapat berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam penggunaan hak politik baik bagi sendiri maupun orang lain. Subtansi pemuda sebagai pemilih pemula tidak menjadi objek politik tetapi juga berperan sebagai subjek politik. Disarankan kepada peserta penyuluhan agar menindak lanjuti aspek pengetahuan dan sikap untuk diperaktikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari berkaitan dengan pendidikan politik. Politics commonly interpreted as art or knowledge to gain power, in fact there are distortions in order to gain it power. Youths as next generation who will hold the reins of power in the future, surely have to open their eyes on politics, not only political practice, but also determine the direction of the country. The goal of this community service was to educate students in Baitul Arqam Senior High School Sibreh about political education. The results achieved in community service activities are showing an increase in knowledge and understanding, seen at the participation of participants who asked questions in accordance with the legal counseling material. It is hoped that it will increase the knowledge of participants and be able to participate actively in the use of political rights, both for themselves and for others. The substance of youth as novice voters does not become a political object but also acts as a political subject. It is suggested to the counseling participants to follow up on aspects of knowledge and attitudes to be practiced in dailylife related to political education. Legal counseling activities for students of the Darul Arqam Islamic Boarding School, Suka Makmur District, Aceh Besar, should be carried out together with related agencies with other legal materials, so that the goals to be achieved can be achieved.Keywords: Political Education, Youth, Boarding School

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of spillway width on flow elevation at the weir crest based on the flood discharge design for the Probable Maximum Flood (PMF) return period using flood routing hydrologically at the Cacaban Dam (Indonesia). The rainfall Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) design uses the Hershfield Equation. The design of the flood discharge analysis of QPMF used the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS). Flood routing uses the hydrologic routing method. The Cacaban Dam is located in Jati Village, Kedung Banteng District, Tegal Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The results of the research data analysis showed that increased spillway crest widths led to decreased flow evaluation at the spillway crest, and increased outflow discharge. Thus, if a large storage volume of the reservoir is intended, then the width of the spillway crest must be reduced. Otherwise, the width of the spillway crest must be increased. This paper aims at answering two following questions: (1). What are the types of negative markers in Kiwangona dialects of the Lamaholot based on Mosel and Spriggs’ negation patterns ? ; (2). To what extent do negative markers in the Kiwangona dialect fill the stages in Jespersen Cycle? This research is qualitative in nature. The data were obtained from a two-week field trip to Bayunta’a village of Ile Boleng subdistrict on Adonara island. Data were collected through a series of elicitation processes and note-taking activities from five informants. The data were then analyzed by using Mosel and Spriggs’s theory of negation patterns (1999) as well as the stages of the Jespersen Cycle (1917). Results show that (1) negative markers in Kiwangona fill all five kinds of negative patterns hypothesized by Mosel and Spriggs. Second, the most significant finding is that due to historical contact with a non-Austronesian language, Kiwangona as a single dialect fills all three stages of the Jespersen Cycle compared to Fricke's assessment on negative markers in Flores-Lembata languages. Furthermore, certain lexico-grammatical changes that appeared in Kiwangona negative clauses are mainly due to grammaticalization and a higher degree of negators' movability. Dealing with the results above, the Kiwangona dialect may be considered as a more complex Lamaholot dialect in terms of negation patterns compared to others. Therefore, more research should be carried out on many other undocumented dialects in order to end up with a clearer situation of the negation in Lamaholot dialects.

Background: The immunological shift occurring in pregnant women is crucial for the outcome of pregnancy. We conducted a study in pregnant women living in a malaria endemic area to determine the potential effect of gestational age on modulating the immune system by cortisol and prolactin production. Methods: Primigravidae and multigravidae with a gestational age between 16-20 weeks were included in the study and followed up to delivery and 6-7 weeks thereafter. Venous blood was collected at scheduled visit: Visit1 (V1; 16-20 weeks of amenorrhea), Visit2 (V2; 28 ±1 weeks of pregnancy), Visit3 (V3; 32 ±1 weeks of pregnancy), Visit4 (V4; delivery) and Visit5 (V5; 6-7 weeks after delivery). In addition, a cord blood sample was also collected at delivery. Nulliparous and primiparous/multiparous non-pregnant women were enrolled in the control group. Cortisol and prolactin plasma concentrations were measured using ichroma II and i-chamber apparatus. Light microscopy was used to detect Plasmodium falciparum infections. A linear mixed-effects regression (LMER) model was used to assess the association between the variation of cortisol titters and prolactin levels during the pregnancy and the post-partum. Results: Results showed that cortisol and prolactin levels in the peripheral blood were up-regulated during pregnancy. Concentrations of cortisol during follow-up was significantly higher in primigravidae than in multigravidae during the whole pregnancy (pConclusion: These results showed that the potential effects of cortisol and prolactin are related to gestational age. This could affect the susceptibility of pregnant women to infectious diseases such as malaria in endemic areas.

AHNAK is known to be a tumor suppressor in breast cancer due to its ability to activate the TGFβ signaling pathway. However, the role of AHNAK in lung tumor development and progression remains unknown. Here, the Ahnak gene was disrupted to determine its effect on lung tumorigenesis and the mechanism by which it triggers lung tumor development was investigated. First, AHNAK protein expression was determined to be decreased in human lung adenocarcinomas compared with matched nonneoplastic lung tissues. Then, Ahnak−/− mice were used to investigate the role of AHNAK in pulmonary tumorigenesis. Ahnak−/− mice showed increased lung volume and thicker alveolar walls with type II pneumocyte hyperplasia. Most importantly, approximately 20% of aged Ahnak−/− mice developed lung tumors, and Ahnak−/− mice were more susceptible to urethane-induced pulmonary carcinogenesis than wild-type mice. Mechanistically, Ahnak deficiency promotes the cell growth of lung epithelial cells by suppressing the TGFβ signaling pathway. In addition, increased numbers of M2-like alveolar macrophages (AM) were observed in Ahnak−/− lungs, and the depletion of AMs in Ahnak−/− lungs alleviated lung hyperplastic lesions, suggesting that M2-like AMs promoted the progression of lung hyperplastic lesions in Ahnak-null mice. Collectively, AHNAK suppresses type II pneumocyte proliferation and inhibits tumor-promoting M2 alternative activation of macrophages in mouse lung tissue. These results suggest that AHNAK functions as a novel tumor suppressor in lung cancer.Implications: The tumor suppressor function of AHNAK, in murine lungs, occurs by suppressing alveolar epithelial cell proliferation and modulating lung microenvironment. The problem on the Inlis Lite website is difficult to access. This study uses the Webqual 4.0 method which focuses on 3 variables namely (usability, information qualit and service interaction) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of teh Inlis Lite website quality analysis have a conformity rate 88,71% which means that the service is still not satisactory. The average GAP of -0,46 means that the quality of the Inlis Lite website still does not meet user expections. One type of deep foundation is a pile foundation that is designed and has the ability to withstand axial, lateral, and uplift loads. This analysis aims to determine and compare deflections that occur on poles that are in granular soil by using the manual calculation of the p-y curve method with finite difference approaches and calculations with Allpile and Plaxis software. The analysis was conducted three times, namely on a 60 cm diameter pole at a depth of 10 meters embedded pile with lateral loads of 25 kN, 50 kN, and 75 kN. The data used to calculate the lateral deflection of the pole is secondary data. Lateral deflection analysis using Plaxis software with a load of 25 kN, 50 kN, and 75 kN obtained lateral deflection of the uppermost pole respectively 0.159 cm, 0.324 cm, and 0.545 cm. Lateral deflection analysis using Allpile software with a load of 25 kN, 50 kN, and 75 kN obtained lateral deflection of the uppermost pile by 0.08 cm, 0.16 cm and 0.29 cm. While the results of the lateral deflection analysis of the manual calculation of the p-y curve method with a finite different up to 25 kN, 50 kN, and 75 kN loads obtained lateral deflection of the uppermost pile respectively by 0.60 cm, 0.12 cm and 0.179 cm. So the approximating calculations are manual calculation of the p-y curve method with calculations with Allpile software. Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) value calculation of the p-y curve method with plaxis software at lateral load 25 kN, 50 kN, 75 kN obtained consecutive NSE values of -5,946, -6,439, dan -30,118 all of which have unsatisfactory performance rating. Different with curve p-y method compared with Allpile that has consecutive NSE values of 0,876, 0,876, 0,876, dan 0,605 all of which have very good performance rating. Berbagai upaya untuk mengurangi penggunaan plastik sudah dilakukan, yakni dengan menggunakan metode 3R atau Recycle, Reuse, dan Reduce. Namun faktanya pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap upaya mengurangi penggunaan plastik masih kurang. Upaya untuk memahamkan ibu rumah tangga akan bahaya plastik merupakan salah satu solusi mengurangi penggunaan plastik. oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan taman gantung sebagai salah satu solusi terhadap permasalahan di atas. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu Dasa Wisma Di RT 03 RW 11 Kelurahan Sukorejo Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang tentang pentingnya pemanfaatan barang bekas (plastik) sebagai bahan pembuatan taman gantung melalui metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Materi pelatihan disampaikan dengan cara menerapkan metode ekspositori dan diskusi yang menerapkan daring melalui link zoom. Penyampaian materi dilengkapi dengan metode tutorial dengan pemberian umpan balik. Pada saat pembuatan taman gantung digunakan metode praktik yaitu ibu-ibu di ajak ke taman untuk diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan menerapkan protokol Kesehatan. Pengetahuan Ibu-ibu dasawisma peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan taman gantung di RT 03 RW 11 di Kelurahan Sukorejo, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan pelatihan (metode ekspositori dan pendampingan) yaitu yang semula cenderung cukup dan baik menjadi sangat baik. Keterampilan Ibu-ibu dasawisma peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan taman gantung di RT 03 RW 11 Kelurahan Sukorejo Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang setelah mendapatkan pendampingan praktik 30% dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan sisanya yaitu 70% dalam kategori baik. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of Dasa Wisma housewives in RT 03 RW 11, Sukorejo Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City about the importance of using used goods (plastic) as material for making hanging gardens through training and assistance methods. The training materials were delivered by applying the expository method and online discussions via the zoom link. The delivery of training materials was complemented by a tutorial method with feedback. At the time of making the hanging garden, a practical method was used, by inviting housewives to the park to be given training and assistance by implementing Health protocols. The knowledge of the Dasa Wisma housewives who participated in the training and assistance in making hanging gardens at RT 03 RW 11 in Sukorejo Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City experienced an increase after being given training (expository and assistance methods) which initially tended to be quite and good to very good. The skills of the Dasawisma housewives who participated in the training and assistance in making hanging gardens at RT 03 RW 11, Sukorejo Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City after receiving practical assistance, 30% were in the very good category, while the remaining 70% was in the good category.
