The present study aims to: 1) Test whether mindsets about the long-term effects of catastrophic experiences can be cultivated intentionally using a brief, scalable intervention. 2) Explore whether this intervention can promote a range of positive behavioral and mental health outcomes during this post-COVID-19 pandemic period. 3) Use blood sampling methods to examine whether certain mindsets about the long-term effects of catastrophes may be associated with lower levels of chronic inflammation and whether this relationship is mediated by specific post-traumatic growth outcomes.
