This retrospective study aimed to investigate whether there was a difference in the success rate of removal of residual thyroid tissue in patients with the same cutoff serum thyroglobulin (Tg) value―measured 2 weeks after thyroid hormone withdrawal (THW)―for different radioactive iodine (RAI) activities. We identified 132 patients with papillary thyroid cancer who were treated with total thyroidectomy and RAI therapy to evaluate the efficacy of three radioactivities of I-131: 1,110, 3,700, and 5,550 MBq. Serum Tg testing was performed 1 week before RAI treatment and 2 weeks after THW (pre-Tg); the cutoff pre-Tg level was below 10 ng/mL. The efficient extraction of lipid species in plasma was developed for quick sample preparation and accurate lipid analysis, using spin column with superabsorbent polymer beads (SAP), as the improvement of previous SAP method reported before. The modified SAP (mSAP) method is composed of simple steps, including sample loading, swelling, solvent addition, centrifugation, and drying of the resulting lipid solution. The mSAP method offers several advantages over the conventional and the previous SAP methods for lipid analysis in plasma sample. The mSAP method was approximately 10 times faster than the modified Folch protocol (Matyash method), methyl-tert-butyl ether based extraction method. The mSAP method offered an excellent recovery rate for most all major classes in the lipid standard mixture, outperforming the Matyash method. The limit of detection (LOD) of 1,2-diheptadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phophocholine (PC 17:0/17:0) spiking in plasma by the mSAP method is about seven times lower than those of the conventional methods. The relative standard deviation (RSD) values for inter- and intra-day variability of the mSAP method over a 5-day period were significantly lower than those of the previous SAP and Matyash methods. The mSAP method has been shown to be more time-saving, sensitive, reproducible and reliable, as evidence by its faster processing time, lower LOD, lower RSD values and high recovery rate for different lipid classes. Overall, these findings suggest that this method may be a promising approach for the application of total lipid analysis in lipidomic research in future.

Recent initiatives have emphasized the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic surgery. Racial/ethnic disparities remain prevalent throughout surgical training, and the "diversity pipeline" in resident recruitment and retention remains poorly defined.Data was retrospectively collected using two separate datasets. The Association of American Medical Colleges database was used to obtain demographic data on US medical school graduates. The US Graduate Medical Education annual report was used to obtain demographic data on surgical residents. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare racial/ethnic distribution within surgical residency programs with graduating medical students. Linear regression analysis was performed to analyze population trends over time.The study population included 184,690 surgical residents from 2011 to 2020. Nine resident cohorts were created according to surgical specialty - general surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, urology, and vascular surgery. Among surgical programs, White residents were overrepresented in 8 of 9 specialties compared to the concurrent graduating medical student class for all years (p 0.01 each, no difference in ophthalmology). Black residents were underrepresented in 8 of 9 specialties (p 0.01 each, no difference in general surgery). Asian representation was mixed among specialties (4 overrepresented, 1 equal, 4 underrepresented), as was Hispanic representation (5 overrepresented, 4 equal) (p 0.01 each).These data suggest that racial/ethnic disparities are inherent to the process of recruitment and retention of surgical residents. Efforts to improve the "diversity pipeline" should focus on mentorship and development of minority medical students and creating an equitable learning environment.

Ultrasonography is often the initial modality used to evaluate patients found to have abnormal liver function tests (LFTs) in the emergency department. While an assessment for biliary ductal dilatation and obstruction remains one of the main questions to answer, radiologists should also be aware of the ultrasonographic appearance of other conditions that can cause abnormal LFTs. This may be crucial for the management and disposition of patients in the emergency department. This article reviews the ultrasonographic features of diseases that may cause abnormal LFTs.

Thromboelastography (TEG) is diagnostic modality that analyzes real-time blood coagulation parameters. Clinically, TEG primarily allows for directed blood component resuscitation among patients with acute blood loss and coagulopathy. The utilization of TEG has been widely adopted in among other surgical specialties; however, its use in vascular surgery is less prominent. We aimed to provide an up-to-date review of TEG utilization in vascular and endovascular surgery.Using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, a literature review with the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms "TEG and arterial events", "TEG and vascular surgery", "TEG and vascular", "TEG and endovascular surgery", "TEG and endovascular", "TEG and peripheral artery disease", "TEG and prediction of arterial events", "TEG and prediction of complications ", "TEG and prediction of thrombosis", "TEG and prediction of amputation", and "TEG and amputation" was performed in Cochrane and PubMed databases to identify all peer-reviewed studies of TEG utilization in vascular surgery, written between 2000 and 2021 in the English language. The free-text and MeSH subheadings search terms included diagnosis, complications, physiopathology, surgery, mortality, and therapy to further restrict the articles. Studies were excluded if they were not in humans or pertaining to vascular or endovascular surgery. Additionally, case reports and studies with limited information regarding TEG utilization were excluded. Each study was independently reviewed by two researchers to assess for eligibility.Of the 262 studies identified through the MeSH strategy, 15 studies met inclusion criteria and were reviewed and summarized. Literature on TEG utilization in vascular surgery spanned cerebrovascular disease (n = 3), peripheral arterial disease (n = 3), arteriovenous malformations (n = 1), venous thromboembolic events (n = 7), and perioperative bleeding and transfusion (n = 1). In cerebrovascular disease, TEG may predict the presence and stability of carotid plaques, analyze platelet function before carotid stenting, and compare efficacy of antiplatelet therapy after stent deployment. In peripheral arterial disease, TEG has been used to predict disease severity and analyze the impact of contrast on coagulation parameters. In venous disease, TEG may predict hypercoagulability and thromboembolic events among various patient populations. Finally, TEG can be utilized in the postoperative setting to predict hemorrhage and transfusion requirements.This systematic review provides an up-to-date summarization of TEG utilization in multiple facets of vascular and endovascular surgery.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the preoperative and postoperative outcomes of surgical treatment for patients who fail to conserve the complete rupture of the collateral ligament in the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint.Methods: A complete rupture of the collateral ligament was confirmed by a radiologist using ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging for patients who had symptoms after 4 weeks of conservative treatment. Eleven patients underwent operative collateral ligament repair using an anchor. All patient was followed up for at least 6 months postoperatively. We evaluated clinical outcomes preoperatively and at 6 months follow-up: (1) range of motion of the PIP, (2) joint stability, (3) Visual Analog Scale score, (4) fusiform index of the PIP joint, and (5) functional & cosmetic satisfaction.Results: There was no instability in the lateral stress test at 6-month follow-up. The ranges of motion of the PIP were not statistically different between preoperative and at 6-month follow-up. Patients had less pain but the cosmetic appearance of the PIP joint did not improve. Functional satisfaction differed statistically, but there was no difference in cosmetic satisfaction.Conclusion: Surgical treatment for patients who fail to conserve the complete rupture of the collateral ligament in the PIP joint can provide good joint stability, functional recovery.

We investigated the defect states and optoelectrical properties of methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) perovskite films synthesized via a two-step dry process. To synthesize MAPbI3 thin films, PbI2 thin films were deposited via rf magnetron sputtering and were subsequently exposed to methylammonium iodide (MAI) vapor to synthesize MAPbI3 thin films. By using deep level transient spectroscopy and space-charge-limited current methods, the defect density of the perovskite films was proven to be reduced by about 6 times as the reaction temperature increased from 90 to 110 °C . At a high reaction temperature of 130 °C , the deformation process could occur, resulting in a rising trap density within the perovskite film. Along with a significant decline in defect density, the photoresponsivity of films fabricated at 110 °C were higher by about 2.05 and 18.76 times more than those of samples prepared at 100 and 130 °C , respectively. An excellent detectivity of 1.17 × 1013 Jones was observed from the sample synthesized at 110 °C , demonstrating the superiority of a two-step dry process.

However, data on the prognostic impact of radiological emphysema extent on patients with COVID-19 are limited. Thus, this study aimed to examine whether computed tomography (CT)-quantified emphysema score is associated with a worse clinical outcome in patients with COVID-19.Methods: Volumetric quantitative analyses of CT images were performed to obtain emphysema scores in COVID-19 patients admitted to four tertiary referral hospitals in Daegu, South Korea, between February 18 and March 25, 2020. Patients were divided into three groups according to emphysema score (emphysema score ≤ 1%, 1%< emphysema score ≤ 5%, and emphysema score > 5%).Results: A total of 146 patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection were included. The median emphysema score was 1.0% (interquartile range, 0.5– 1.8%). Eight patients (6%) had a previous COPD diagnosis. Eighty (55%), 55 (38%), and 11 (8%) patients had emphysema scores ≤ 1%, between 1% and 5%, and > 5%, respectively. The number of patients who received oxygen therapy two weeks after admission was significantly higher in the group with emphysema scores > 5% than in other groups (p=0.025). The frequency of deaths was three (27%) in the group with emphysema scores > 5% and tended to be higher than that in other groups. Multivariate analysis revealed that age, COPD, and serum lactate dehydrogenase levels were associated with a greater risk of in-hospital mortality in patients with COVID-19.Conclusion: The current study demonstrated that patients with CT-quantified emphysema scores > 5% tended to progress to severe disease over time; however, they did not exhibit an increased risk of mortality in our COVID-19 cohort. Further studies with consideration of both emphysema extent and airflow limitation degree are warranted.Keywords: COVID-19, emphysema, computed tomography, COPD, mortality

Background The evaluation of correlations among joint effusion, ligament injuries, tenosynovitis and osteochondral lesion of talus (OLT) in the ankle joint is important for developing a treatment plan and predicting prognosis. Purpose To evaluate correlations among tibiotalar (anterior) and talocalcaneal (posterior) joint effusion, tenosynovitis of major flexor tendons, ligaments, and OLT in a group of patients with ankle trauma. Material and Methods This retrospective study included 101 patients with ankle trauma who underwent magnetic resonance imaging. Two radiologists assessed the presence and amount of effusion in the tibiotalar and talocalcaneal joints from grade 0 to 2, according to the amount of capsular distension. Concomitant structural injuries were assessed in the tibialis posterior (TP), flexor digitorum longus, flexor hallucis longus, and peroneus tendons, and the anterior talofibular ligament, calcaneofibular ligament, anteroinferior tibiofibular ligament, posteroinferior tibiofibular ligament, and OLT. Results The proportion of anterior and posterior joint effusion according to grade was 67.3% for anterior joint effusion grade 0, 22.8% for grade 1, and 9.9% for grade 2; for posterior joint effusion, grade 0 was 74.2%, grade 1 was 22.8%, and grade 2 was 3.0%. We found statistically significant correlations between posterior joint effusion and tenosynovitis of TP ( P Conclusion Posterior joint effusion is correlated with TP injury and OLT; however, tendon injuries have no correlation with other structural injuries of the ankle joint in a general population with ankle trauma.

Slag foaming is a key factor in terms of quality and productivity in the electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking process. Optimal control of slag foaming is required, but is difficult due to the absence of practical on-line measuring methods and the broad process variability. In this study, a soft sensor model, which correlates the influential process variables with the slag foaming height, was developed by using machine learning based long short-term memory (LSTM) networks for modeling sequential and nonlinear data. The developed model was validated using actual steelmaking dataset in terms of performance metrics such as the root mean square error (RMSE), coefficient of determination (R2), and correlation coefficient corresponding to a value for a SS400 carbon steel grade to be 42.3, 0.905, and 0.963, respectively. In order to evaluate the general applicability of the developed model for other steel grades, data for A615 and S355 steel grades were also applied and found to satisfy the benchmark standards indicating that the developed model can be applied to the broad range of other steel grades. Sensitivity-based Pruning (SBP) on the model shows that electricity, carbon and oxygen are the most influential process variables to the slag foaming height and could potentially be used to promote enhanced optimization in terms of energy saving and cost-efficiency for the EAF steelmaking process.

Background and Objectives: Hallux valgus is one of the most common chronic foot complaints, with prevalences of over 23% in adults and up to 35.7% in older adults. However, the prevalence is only 3.5% in adolescents. The pathological causes and pathophysiology of hallux valgus are well-known in various studies and reports. A change in the position of the sesamoid bone under the metatarsal bone of the first toe is known to be the cause of the initial pathophysiology. Purpose: The relationships between the changes in the location of the sesamoid bone and each radiologically measured angle and joint congruency in the hallux valgus remain as yet unknown. Therefore, this study investigated the relationships of sesamoid bone subluxation with the hallux valgus angle, intermetatarsal angle, and metatarsophalangeal joint congruency in hallux valgus patients. The goal is to know the hallux valgus angle, the intermetatarsal angle, and metatarsophalangeal joint congruency’s correlation with hallux valgus severity and prognosis by revealing the relationship between each measured value and sesamoid bone subluxation. Materials and Methods: We reviewed 205 hallux valgus patients who underwent radiographic evaluation and subsequent hallux valgus correction surgery in our orthopedic clinic between March 2015 and February 2020. Sesamoid subluxation was assessed using a new five-grade scale on foot radiographs, and other radiologic measurements were assessed, such as hallux valgus angle, the intermetatarsal angle, distal metatarsal articular angle, joint congruency, etc. Conclusions: Measurements of the hallux valgus angle, interphalangeal angle, and joint congruency exhibited high interobserver and intraobserver reliabilities in this study. They also showed correlations with sesamoid subluxation grade.

TFEB, a key regulator of lysosomal biogenesis and autophagy, is induced not only by nutritional deficiency but also by organelle stress. Here, we find that Tfeb and its downstream genes are upregulated together with lipofuscin accumulation in adipose tissue macrophages (ATMs) of obese mice or humans, suggestive of obesity-associated lysosomal dysfunction/stress in ATMs. Macrophage-specific TFEB-overexpressing mice display complete abrogation of diet-induced obesity, adipose tissue inflammation and insulin resistance, which is independent of autophagy, but dependent on TFEB-induced GDF15 expression. Palmitic acid induces Gdf15 expression through lysosomal Ca2+-mediated TFEB nuclear translocation in response to lysosomal stress. In contrast, mice fed a high-fat diet with macrophage-specific Tfeb deletion show aggravated adipose tissue inflammation and insulin resistance, accompanied by reduced GDF15 level. Finally, we observe activation of TFEB–GDF15 in ATMs of obese humans as a consequence of lysosomal stress. These findings highlight the importance of the TFEB–GDF15 axis as a lysosomal stress response in obesity or metabolic syndrome and as a promising therapeutic target for treatment of these conditions. Kim et al. reveal that TFEB expression is protective in the setting of diet-induced obesity by activating the expression of GDF15 in adipose tissue macrophages in mice and humans.

PURPOSE Inflammation is known to induce prostatic growth and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) progression in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), but clinical indicators for intraprostatic inflammation other than biopsy have not yet been established. While 2-deoxy- 2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is a useful tool for investigating inflammatory conditions, prostatic FDG uptake in patients with BPH has not been elucidated. Therefore, we evaluated the association between prostatic FDG uptake and LUTS. METHODS A total of 391 men in their 50s who underwent FDG PET/CT during health examinations were included. Mean and maximal prostatic standard uptake values (SUVs) on FDG PET/CT were measured. Prostatic volume, focal FDG uptake, and calcification were also evaluated. The International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) for LUTS was collected at baseline and follow- ups. The correlation between IPSS and other variables was analyzed. RESULTS The mean age of the study participants was 51.7 years, and the mean follow-up interval was 39.7 months. The average of the mean and maximal SUV for prostatic FDG uptake was 1.8 and 2.6, respectively. The prostate volume was 18.5 cm3. The mean IPSS was 4.82 at baseline and 5.46 at follow-ups. Neither the mean SUV nor the maximal SUV of prostatic FDG uptake was correlated with IPSS at baseline or follow-ups. Conversely, prostate volume was associated with baseline IPSS and follow-up IPSS. CONCLUSION Prostatic FDG uptake did not show a significant association with IPSS on FDG PET/CT as well as at follow-ups. FDG uptake may not reflect prostatic growth in nonmalignant cases.

The purpose of this study was to find the determinants of effective diffusion of educational robotics in rural areas. The study analysed the key components, difficulties, and major lessons of the successful case of the remote northern region of Russia – Sakha Republic. The study used a mixed-method approach consisting of interviews, survey, literature analysis, and participants’ observation. In the survey participated 57 robotics teachers and 113 elementary, middle, and high school students of the Sakha Republic. From survey participants were randomly chosen 30 robotics teachers and 18 middle and high school students for the interview. The literature analysis explored reports and articles on the educational robotics activities in the Sakha Republic for the period of 2011-2018. Based on the findings, the study developed a process model with five principles and ten components that influenced educational robotics diffusion in the Sakha Republic. One of the main determinants of the model was a support system of public-private partnerships and a local community of educators. Another was the need to consider the local area’s constraints, possibilities, and culture when implementing any technology in the rural region's education. In the researched case two major determinants would not be possible and sustainable without strong leadership. The findings showed that strong local leadership could use knowledge of the local area to provide more appropriate solutions and could build the active support of the local community and public-private partnerships that would accelerate the diffusion of technology in the rural region's education.

Human-derived materials are a crucial element of research in the life sciences. The Korea Biobank Network (KBN) portal is a shared open platform that provides the nationʼs most extensive disease resources, possessed by Human Bioresource Unit Banks of the KBN, to the public, including those in the fields of industry, academia, and research. This platform was developed to increase the efficient use of national disease resources. In the KBN portal, the current status of disease resources collected in Korea can be checked online. Human bioresources and clinical information are provided to consumers through systematic search and efficient distribution programs. Additionally, by simultaneously operating the KBN Distribution Support Center, we are working to support the rapid and convenient distribution of human resources in response to the needs of consumers. To effectively utilize the open human bioresource sharing platform, it is necessary to introduce an integrated clinical information management system. Currently, the KBN is in the process of establishing standard terminology for data and applying a common data model for the integrated management of various clinical information held by the KBN. We provide communications through the KBN portal, which is interconnected with the distribution support center, regional biobanks, and consumers. In conclusion, the KBN portal will provide open innovation by creating a business or service model by delivering shared open data and internalizing external innovative capabilities.

The variability of physiologic 18F-FDG uptake in the myocardium has hampered the accurate evaluation of cardiac glucose metabolism. We investigated the effects of multiple factors, including fasting duration and physical activity, on the physiologic uptake of 18F-FDG by the myocardium in healthy participants. A total of 446 participants (predominantly male, 91%) in a health screening program were included in this retrospective study. For the visual analysis of myocardial 18F-FDG uptake, the participants were categorized into three groups according to qualitative visual scales (QVS). For the quantitative analysis, the maximum SUV of the left ventricular myocardium was measured. Significant differences were observed in fasting duration (p 6% (p = 0.005) showed significant association with myocardial FDG uptake in the Chi-squared test. The median value of fasting duration decreased significantly as the QVS of the myocardium increased. Twenty-nine of the 31 participants (93.5%) who fasted for 21.5 h or more showed a suppressed FDG uptake (mean SUVmax = 2.1). In multivariate logistic regression analysis, fasting duration (OR = 0.74, 95% CI 0.69–0.80, p 6% (OR = 0.29, 95% CI: 0.12 – 0.66, p = 0.004), uric acid (OR = 0.82, 95% CI 0.68–1.00, p = 0.049) and regular exercise with vigorous activity (OR = 1.75, 95% CI 1.13–2.70, p = 0.012) were significant factors for physiologic myocardial FDG uptake. Reduced physiologic 18F-FDG uptake of the myocardium was associated with longer fasting duration, higher level of HbA1c, and less frequency of regular exercise with vigorous activity. For the preparation of cardiac 18F-FDG PET, inclusion of longer fasting duration (more than 18 h) might be necessary for the adequate suppression of physiologic 18F-FDG myocardial uptake.

Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in human plasma and plays versatile biological role. HSA has been widely used to treat several diseases and develop biocompatible biomaterials for biomedical applications. However, pharmaceutical-grade HSA (p-HSA) showed the altered oxidative and ligand-binding properties compare to native HSA. To investigate the influences of the manufacturing process on the molecular state of HSA, we determined the first crystal structure of p-HSA using the commercial HSA solution without any defatting step and further purification and carried out mass spectrometry to identify bound ligands. The crystal structure of p-HSA revealed that medium- and long-chain fatty acids and tryptophan are bound to p-HSA and one free cysteine is oxidized to cysteine-sulfenic acid. The mass spectra of p-HSA also confirmed the existence of fatty acids and tryptophan in p-HSA. Our results enhance understanding of the molecular state of p-HSA and can be utilized to produce p-HSA solutions and HSA-based biomaterials that has a higher biorelevance.

In recent years, fade detection algorithms can classify fade scenes in massive video libraries have been developed. However, these algorithms misclassify some non-fade scenes as fade scenes, especially dissolve scenes and scenes with captions or flashing light sources. This paper proposes a new fade detection algorithm that uses similarity tendencies of luminance transitions to overcome such obstacles. To prevent detection accuracy degradation by letterboxing and captions, video frames are simplified. Then, fade candidates are detected by transition boundary detection using the angular and curvature characteristics of the luminance vectors. Finally, luminance flipping detection improves the detection accuracy by extracting the luminance retrograde phenomenon that occurs with flashing or light source movements. Through objective evaluation using $F_{1}$ score, the detection accuracy of the proposed algorithm was 0.884, which is an increase of 0.187 (21.2% improvement) compared with the average $F_{1}$ score of existing high-performance methods.

Variation-aware leakage analysis becomes an essential design process as the technology node continuously shrinks. This article proposes a novel additive statistical leakage analysis method that uses exponential mixture model (EMM) to estimate the leakage distribution. Using a few leakage data for sub-blocks of an input circuit, we estimate any shape of leakage distribution regardless of new process nodes or operating conditions. Leakage distribution of an input circuit can be obtained by adding the leakage distributions of the sub-blocks. The proposed addition step sequentially adds the leakage distributions of sub-blocks that are expressed as EMMs. Before the addition step, we improve the accuracy by handling linear dependence among leakage simulation data of sub-blocks. In addition, we propose a method to reduce the number of components of an EMM to prevent exponential increase in runtime and memory during the addition process. The proposed method achieved 43.6 times improvement in goodness-of-fit of the estimated cumulative density functions compared to the best results of other analytic model-based methods.

Under the influence of the common goals of Education For All (EFA), Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the international development realm, many countries around the world have reached a great level of development through continuous improvement in education since 2000. Meanwhile, Morocco could be one of the developing countries that struggle to resolve many problems resulting from having a weak educational system, which has been considered as one of the main obstacles to the country’s economic growth. The purpose of this article is to analyse the gender gap in access to primary education in rural areas of Morocco, focusing on primary school girls. Based on the investigation on the major obstacles, we carried out descriptive statistics with selected variables such as the adjusted net enrolment rate, the cumulative drop-out rate to the last grade, the gross intake ration (graduation ratio) to the last grade, and Gender Parity Index (GPI). In addition, we conducted a few private interviews via Skype with local stakeholders to underpin our research and to reflect personal ideas on the Moroccan educational system from their own perspective. Lastly, we suggested applicable solutions against those barriers from the perspective of education ODA.

We have developed a practical-scale dry disassembling process to dismantle PWR (Pressurized Water Reactor) spent nuclear fuel assembly in the order of several tens of kilograms of heavy metal/batch to supply rod-cuts (cladding tube and UO2 pellets) for mechanical decladding process. Dry head-end disassembling process has advantages over the wet head-end process because of the lower risk of proliferation and treatment of spent fuel with relatively high heat and radioactivity. This study describes the main design considerations for the disassembling process of the spent nuclear fuel assembly during the dry head-end process. The down-ender, dismantling, extraction, and cutting technologies are analyzed and models have been designed for testing. The purpose of dry head-end disassembly process is to test the main device performance and to obtain scale-up data for practical-scale disassembling. With this in mind, design considerations were analyzed based on remoteness, and basic verification tests were performed. However, the authors used simulated fuel, instead of the actual spent fuel, owing to a lack of joint determination. In addition, in the present study, we did not consider the heat generated from minor actinides or the radioactivity of the fission product; these aspects will be considered in a future study. During the basic test performed in this study, a simulated assembly was completely disassembled using new methods, such as dismantling, extraction, and cutting processes. The practical-scale dry disassembling technology can be tested using scale-up data for reuse of the spent fuel.
