The dissertation deals with the theoretical foundations of models, methods and algorithms as well as applied software programs for analysis, modeling and design of power electronic converters. The aim of the dissertation is formulated as development of an effective integrated approach for interactive design of power electronic converters with guaranteed parameters. Based on the analysis of the current state of the art in the problem area several objectives and research tasks are defined related to the dissertation aim: (1) Investigation of the possibilities of applying spectral analysis for automation of power electronic converters design; (2) Investigation of the possibilities for evaluation of the dynamics of power electronic devices using Fast Fourier transform of DC-DC converters; (3) Investigation and evaluation of the possibility to use Fast Fourier transform for the design of DC-DC converters with guaranteed parameters; (4) Development of a web based information system using web services for modeling of power electronic converters; (5) Design and development of a database of elements and specific topologies for DC-DC converters design as well as evaluation and verification of the suggested approach using numerical experiments.
