Educational data classification has become an effective tool for exploring the hidden pattern or relationship in educational data and predicting students' performance or teachers' competency. This study proposes a new method based on machine learning algorithms to predict the technology-integrated competency of pre-service mathematics teachers. In this paper, we modified the inertial subgradient extragradient algorithm for pseudomonotone equilibrium and proved the weak convergence theorem under some suitable conditions in Hilbert spaces. We then applied to solve data classification by extreme learning machine using the dataset comprised of the technology-integrated competency of 954 pre-service mathematics teachers in a university in northern Thailand, longitudinally collected for five years. The flexibility of our algorithm was shown by comparisons of the choice of different parameters. The performance was calculated and compared with the existing algorithms to be implemented for prediction. The results show that the proposed method achieved a classification accuracy of 81.06%. The predictions were implemented using ten attributes, including demographic information, skills, and knowledge relating to technology developed throughout the teacher education program. Such data driven studies are significant for establishing a prospective teacher competency analysis framework in teacher education and contributing to decision-making for policy design. This paper concentrates on studying the application of fuzzy soft sets and the construction of an algorithm to identify a better approach flood alarm prediction model that applies to eight selected provinces sites in Northern Thailand. This paper presents algorithms based on Differential Evolution and Improved Differential Evolution for solving a multi-stage crop planning problem in southern region of Thailand to maximize the profit. Four types of algorithms were tested: 1) Differential Evolution (DE), 2) Differential Evolution with local search by adding the step of local search after the selection process, which used insert algorithm (DE-I), 3) Random best of Differential Evolution improved by mutations (DE-R), 4) Random best of Differential Evolution with local search as a mixture of types 2 and 3 (DE-IR). The results show that with small problem instances all the algorithms found a 100% optimal solution. In medium and large problem instances DE-IR shown the best solutions among the proposed algorithms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background and Objectives: Current practices and available resources for nutrition therapy in paediatric intensive care units (PICUs) in the Asia Pacific-Middle East region are expected to differ from western countries. Existing guidelines for nutrition management in critically ill children may not be directly applicable in this region. This paper outlines consensus statements developed by the Asia Pacific-Middle East Consensus Working Group on Nutrition Therapy in the Paediatric Critical Care Environment. Challenges and recommendations unique to the region are described.Methods and Study Design: Following a systematic literature search from 2004-2014, consensus statements were developed for key areas of nutrient delivery in the PICU. This review focused on evidence applicable to the Asia Pacific-Middle East region. Quality of evidence and strength of recommendations were rated according to the Grading of Recommendation Assessment, Development and Evaluation approach.Results: Enteral nutrition (EN) is the preferred mode of nutritional support. Feeding algorithms that optimize EN should be encouraged and must include: assessment and monitoring of nutritional status, selection of feeding route, time to initiate and advance EN, management strategies for EN intolerance and indications for using parenteral nutrition (PN). Despite heterogeneity in nutritional status of patients, availability of resources and diversity of cultures, PICUs in the region should consider involvement of dieticians and/or nutritional support teams.Conclusions: Robust evidence for several aspects of optimal nutrition therapy in PICUs is lacking. Nutritional assessment must be implemented to document prevalence and impact of malnutrition. The central issue of this paper is that one can develop emergent macro-dynamics from micro agent models and that the resulting models fall very much in the complexity-chaos line of the development of theory. The core theoretical contribution is a presentation of a clear, sensical, and potentially very powerful architecture for developing algorithms for the embedding of levels—the so-called master equation approach—and its comparison with alternative architectures. Finally, to illustrate the strategy and to demonstrate that the approach produces interesting and useful results, we give an application: a multilevel simulation model of military coups d'état, which is tested using data from Thailand between 1932 and 1992.
