A novel fiber sensor for the refractive index sensing of seawater based on a Mach–Zehnder interferometer has been demonstrated. The sensor consisted of a single-mode fiber (SMF)–no-core fiber (NCF)–single-mode fiber structure (shortened to an SNS structure) with a large lateral offset spliced between the two sections of a multimode fiber (MMF). Optimization studies of the multimode fiber length, offset SNS length, and vertical axial offset distance were performed to improve the coupling efficiency of interference light and achieve the best extinction ratio. In the experiment, a large lateral offset sensor was prepared to detect the refractive index of various ratios of saltwater, which were used to simulate seawater environments. The sensor's sensitivity was up to −13,703.63 nm/RIU and −13,160 nm/RIU in the refractive index range of 1.3370 to 1.3410 based on the shift of the interference spectrum. This paper presents a nonstandard numerical manifold method (NMM) for solving Burgers' equation. Employing the characteristic Galerkin method, we initially apply the Crank–Nicolson method for temporal discretization along the characteristic. Subsequently, utilizing the Taylor expansion, we transform the semi-implicit formula into a fully explicit form. For spacial discretization, we construct the NMM dual-cover system tailored to Burgers' equation. We choose constant cover functions and first-order weight functions to enhance computational efficiency and exactly import boundary constraints. Finally, the integrated computing scheme is derived by using the standard Galerkin method, along with a Thomas algorithm-based solution procedure. The proposed method is verified through six benchmark numerical examples under various initial boundary conditions. Extensive comparisons with analytical solutions and results from alternative methods are conducted, demonstrating the accuracy and stability of our approach, particularly in solving Burgers' equation at high Reynolds numbers. Breast tumor segmentation of ultrasound images provides valuable tumor information for early detection and diagnosis. However, speckle noise and blurred boundaries in breast ultrasound images present challenges for tumor segmentation, especially for malignant tumors with irregular shapes. Recent vision transformers have shown promising performance in handling the variation through global context modeling. Nevertheless, they are often dominated by features of large patterns and lack the ability to recognize negative information in ultrasound images, which leads to the loss of breast tumor details (e.g., boundaries and small objects). In this paper, we propose a novel noise suppression and boundary refinement network, NSBR-Net, to simultaneously alleviate speckle noise interference and blurred boundary problems of breast tumor segmentation. Specifically, we propose two innovative designs, namely, the Noise Suppression Module (NSM) and the Boundary Refinement Module (BRM). The NSM filters noise information from the coarse-grained feature maps, while the BRM progressively refines the boundaries of significant lesion objects. Our method demonstrates superior accuracy over state-of-the-art deep learning models, achieving significant improvements of 3.67% on Dataset B and 2.30% on the BUSI dataset in mDice for testing malignant tumors. The discovery of antibiotics and pesticides has greatly contributed to the social and economic development of human society but, due to the long-term irrational application, it has led to drug-resistant microorganisms, environmental damage, and other hazards, so the selection of alternative natural, safe, and non-hazardous bioactive substances is an effective solution for this problem. D-limonene is a bioactive compound widely present in various plant essential oils, exhibiting excellent broad-spectrum bioactivity and promising prospects for development and clinical application. This review provides a detailed overview of the biological activities of D-limonene, emphasizing its antimicrobial, anthelmintic, insecticidal, and medicinal potential. While nanoencapsulation technology shows promise in improving the physicochemical properties of D-limonene and enhancing its practical applications, it is also crucial to comprehensively evaluate the potential side effects of D-limonene before use. In this work, pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile fibers are treated with ultrasonic etching and solution etching to produce ultra-thin sections. The evolution of the fibers' microstructure in the pre-oxidation process is observed, and the transformation model of the microstructure of the pre-oxidized fibers is proposed. Scanning electron microscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy were used to observe the microstructure changes of the fibers. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to observe the chemical structure transformation and crystallization degree of the fibers in the pre-oxidation process. The results revealed that pre-oxidized fibers exhibited a smooth surface, while their interior consisted of fibrils. The longitudinal microfibrils were connected by the transverse microfibrils and amorphous regions. The fracture morphology of the fibers shifted from ductile to brittle, and the cross-section gradually became smoother. The linear molecular chain of PAN transformed into a ring structure as pre-oxidation progressed, subsequently leading to the cross-linking of this ring structure into an orderly trapezoidal configuration. The chiral H8-BINOL derivatives R-1 and R-2 were efficiently synthesized via a Suzuki coupling reaction, and they can be used as novel dialdehyde fluorescent probes for the enantioselective recognition of R/S-2-amino-1-phenylethanol. In addition, R-1 is much more effective than R-2. Scanning electron microscope images and X-ray analyses show that R-1 can form supramolecular vesicles through the self-assembly effect of the π-π force and strong hydrogen bonding. As determined via analysis, the fluorescence of the probe was significantly enhanced by mixing a small amount of S-2-amino-1-phenylethanol into R-1, with a redshift of 38 nm, whereas no significant fluorescence response was observed in R-2-amino-1-phenylethanol. The enantioselective identification of S-2-amino-1-phenylethanol by the probe R-1 was further investigated through nuclear magnetic titration and fluorescence kinetic experiments and DFT calculations. The results showed that this mechanism was not only a simple reactive probe but also realized object recognition through an ICT mechanism. As the intramolecular hydrogen bond activated the carbonyl group on the probe R-1, the carbonyl carbon atom became positively charged. As a strong nucleophile, the amino group of S-2-amino-1-phenylethanol first transferred the amino electrons to a carbonyl carbocation, resulting in a significantly enhanced fluorescence of the probe R-1 and a 38 nm redshift. Similarly, S-2-amino-1-phenylethanol alone caused severe damage to the self-assembled vesicle structure of the probe molecule itself due to its spatial structure, which made R-1 highly enantioselective towards it. The modeling method of unbonded effects is a challenging and hot topic for the structural performance analysis of unbonded and partially bonded post-tensioned concrete beams. The main concerns accounting for the unbonded effects are the longitudinal free-slip behaviors and the vertical deformation compatibility relationship between the unbonded tendon and concrete beam. Three modeling schemes, namely, the beam–truss element model, the slipping cable element model, and the slack spring model, are presented in this paper. These modeling schemes are, for the first time, systematically compared regarding applicability, convenience, and accuracy. Then, these modeling schemes are applied to experimental beams with different tendon layouts and bonding conditions, including external tendons, internal unbonded tendons, and partially bonded tendons. The beam–truss element model and the slipping cable element model are only applicable to the fully bonded and unbonded members, respectively. The slack spring model is recommended as the generally applicable model for analyzing post-tensioned concrete beams with different bonding conditions. Crucial suggestions are put forward as to the zero-length slack spring element, which have the potential to improve the prediction accuracy for tendon stress. In addition, parametrical analysis is conducted to determine the influence of unbonded length on flexural performance. With the increase of unbonded length, the flexural capacity of the beam will decrease, but the self-centering performance can be improved. The accurate prediction of crop yields is crucial for enhancing agricultural efficiency and ensuring food security. This study assesses the performance of the CNN-LSTM-Attention model in predicting the yields of maize, rice, and soybeans in Northeast China and compares its effectiveness with traditional models such as RF, XGBoost, and CNN. Utilizing multi-source data from 2014 to 2020, which include vegetation indices, environmental variables, and photosynthetically active parameters, our research examines the model's capacity to capture essential spatial and temporal variations. The CNN-LSTM-Attention model integrates Convolutional Neural Networks, Long Short-Term Memory, and an attention mechanism to effectively process complex datasets and manage non-linear relationships within agricultural data. Notably, the study explores the potential of using kNDVI for predicting yields of multiple crops, highlighting its effectiveness. Our findings demonstrate that advanced deep-learning models significantly enhance yield prediction accuracy over traditional methods. We advocate for the incorporation of sophisticated deep-learning technologies in agricultural practices, which can substantially improve yield prediction accuracy and food production strategies. The high dimensionality of hyperspectral images (HSIs) brings significant redundancy to data processing. Band selection (BS) is one of the most commonly used dimensionality reduction (DR) techniques, which eliminates redundant information between bands while retaining a subset of bands with a high information content and low noise. The wild horse optimizer (WHO) is a novel metaheuristic algorithm widely used for its efficient search performance, yet it tends to become trapped in local optima during later iterations. To address these issues, an enhanced wild horse optimizer (IBSWHO) is proposed for HSI band selection in this paper. IBSWHO utilizes Sobol sequences to initialize the population, thereby increasing population diversity. It incorporates Cauchy mutation to perturb the population with a certain probability, enhancing the global search capability and avoiding local optima. Additionally, dynamic random search techniques are introduced to improve the algorithm search efficiency and expand the search space. The convergence of IBSWHO is verified on commonly used nonlinear test functions and compared with state-of-the-art optimization algorithms. Finally, experiments on three classic HSI datasets are conducted for HSI classification. The experimental results demonstrate that the band subset selected by IBSWHO achieves the best classification accuracy compared to conventional and state-of-the-art band selection methods, confirming the superiority of the proposed BS method. The use of express packaging and its recycling produces large amounts of carbon dioxide. In order to achieve China's "dual carbon" goal, this study adopted a literature research method to explore the idea of intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets. Based on the current design and use of intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets, new ideas for their improvement are proposed. This study also explored methods for improving people's willingness to use intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets through experimental research and quantitative analysis. The results show that a reward mechanism has a significant effect on people's willingness to use intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets. Of the two types of rewards, immediate rewards, compared to delayed rewards, can further increase people's use of intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets. Gain and loss trade-offs play a mediating role between a reward mechanism and people's willingness to use it, and consumers make that choice after weighing up the advantages and disadvantages. If consumers feel that it is worthwhile to protect the environment, in terms of the rewards they obtain compared to the time and effort they have to spend using intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets, and that the gain outweighs the loss, they will be inclined to use this system. Environmental responsibility plays a moderating role in mediating the trade-off between gains and losses. In the context of low environmental responsibility, cash rewards lead to greater gain and loss trade-offs compared to point rewards, while in the context of high environmental responsibility, there is no difference between cash rewards and point rewards. This study provides ideas for the design and promotion of the use of intelligent express packaging recycling cabinets, with the goal of effectively improving the recycling rate of express packaging waste. Recent studies have highlighted the lipid-lowering ability of hawthorn ethanol extract (HEE) and the role played by gut flora in the efficacy of HEE. Our study sought to explore the effects of HEE on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in normal flora and pseudo germ-free mice. The results showed that HEE effectively diminished hepatic lipid accumulation, ameliorated liver function, reduced inflammatory cytokine levels and blood lipid profiles, and regulated blood glucose levels. HEE facilitated triglyceride breakdown, suppressed fatty acid synthesis, and enhanced intestinal health by modulating the diversity of the gut microbiota and the production of short-chain fatty acids in the gut. In addition, HEE apparently helps to increase the presence of beneficial genera of bacteria, thereby influencing the composition of the gut microbiota, and the absence of gut flora affects the efficacy of HEE. These findings reveal the potential of hawthorn for the prevention and treatment of NAFLD and provide new perspectives on the study of functional plants to improve liver health. Drought stress globally poses a significant threat to maize (Zea mays L.) productivity and the underlying molecular mechanisms of drought tolerance remain elusive. In this study, we characterized ZmbHLH47, a basic helix–loop–helix (bHLH) transcription factor, as a positive regulator of drought tolerance in maize. ZmbHLH47 expression was notably induced by both drought stress and abscisic acid (ABA). Transgenic plants overexpressing ZmbHLH47 displayed elevated drought tolerance and ABA responsiveness, while the zmbhlh47 mutant exhibited increased drought sensitivity and reduced ABA sensitivity. Mechanistically, it was revealed that ZmbHLH47 could directly bind to the promoter of ZmSnRK2.9 gene, a member of the subgroup III SnRK2 kinases, activating its expression. Furthermore, ZmSnRK2.9-overexpressing plants exhibited enhanced ABA sensitivity and drought tolerance, whereas the zmsnrk2.9 mutant displayed a decreased sensitivity to both. Notably, overexpressing ZmbHLH47 in the zmsnrk2.9 mutant closely resembled the zmsnrk2.9 mutant, indicating the importance of the ZmbHLH47-ZmSnRK2.9 module in ABA response and drought tolerance. The detection of volatile amines is necessary due to the serious toxicity hazards they pose to human skin, respiratory systems, and nervous systems. However, traditional amines detection methods require bulky equipment, high costs, and complex measurements. Herein, we report a new simple, rapid, convenient, and visual method for the detection of volatile amines based on the gas–solid reactions of tetrachloro-p-benzoquinone (TCBQ) and volatile amines. The gas–solid reactions of TCBQ with a variety of volatile amines showed a visually distinct color in a time-dependent manner. Moreover, TCBQ can be easily fabricated into simple and flexible rapid test strips for detecting and distinguishing n-propylamine from other volatile amines, including ethylamine, n-butyamine, n-pentamine, n-butyamine and dimethylamine, in less than 3 s without any equipment assistance. Auricularia cornea var. Li., as an edible mushroom rich in various nutrients, could be widely used in noodle food. This study aimed to investigate the effect of Auricularia cornea var. Li. (AU) powder on the gel properties, structure and quality of starch noodles. Taking the sample without adding AU powder as a control, the addition of AU powder enhanced the peak viscosity, trough viscosity, final viscosity, breakdown, setback, peak time, gelatinization temperature, G′ (storage modulus) and G′′ (loss modulus). Meanwhile, the incorporation of AU powder significantly enhanced the stability of the starch gel structure and contributed to a more ordered microstructure also promoting the short-term aging of starch paste. In vitro digestion results displayed lower rapid digestibility (21.68%) but higher resistant starch content (26.58%) with the addition of AU powder and increased breaking rate, cooking loss, swelling index and a* and b* values. However, it decreased dry matter content and L*, particularly the reducing sugar content significantly increased to 4.01% (p < 0.05), and the total amino acid content rose to 349.91 mg/g. The GC-IMS library identified 51 VOCs, and the OPLS-DA model classified 18 VOCs (VIP > 1). The foveal load effect is one of the most fundamental effects in reading psychology, and also one of the most controversial issues in recent years. The foveal load effect refers to the phenomenon that the difficulty of foveal processing affects parafoveal preview. In Chinese reading, whether the foveal load effect exists, as well as whether this effect is modulated by parafoveal word frequency, remains unclear. In this study, the eye-tracking technique was used to track the eye movements of 48 subjects. Utilized the boundary paradigm with single-character words as parafoveal words, the present study manipulated foveal word frequency (high and low), parafoveal word frequency (high and low), and two types of preview (identical preview and pseudocharacter preview) to investigate these questions. The results revealed that the foveal word frequency does not influence preview, suggesting the absence of the foveal load effect when using single-character words as parafoveal words. Furthermore, parafoveal word frequency does not modulate the effect of the foveal load on the preview. This empirical evidence contributes to refining the understanding of the Chinese reading model. Casper, a type of transparent mutant-line zebrafish, was generated to overcome the opaque trunk of an adult zebrafish for tumor modeling to realize real-time visualization of transplanted cells in vivo. However, the molecular information at the metabolic level has not received much attention. Herein, a spatially resolved metabolomics method based on an airflow-assisted desorption electrospray ionization–mass spectrometry imaging (AFADESI-MSI) system for whole-body zebrafish was used to investigate small molecules and the distribution of adult casper (Mitfaw2/w2, roya9/a9) and the differences from wild-type zebrafish. Finally, the spatial distribution information of more than 1500 endogenous ions was obtained in positive and negative detection modes, and 186 metabolites belonging to a variety of structural categories were identified or annotated. Compared with wild-type samples, 85 variables, including 37 known metabolites, were screened out. In addition, the disordered metabolic pathways caused by the genetic mutation were excavated, involving downregulation of purine metabolism and arachidonic acid metabolism, upregulation of glycerophospholipid metabolism, and biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids. All these results were observed in the most intuitive way through MSI. This study revealed important metabolic characteristics of and perturbation in adult casper zebrafish, and provides indispensable fundamental knowledge for tumor research based on it. Based on MnO2/carbon cloth (CC) composite materials, an Ag-doped MnO2 nanowire, self-assembled, urchin-like structure was synthesized in situ on the surface of CC using a simple method, and a novel and efficient flexible electrode material for supercapacitors was developed. The morphology, structure, elemental distribution, and pore distribution of the material were analyzed using SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, and BET. The electrochemical performance was tested using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic charge/discharge (GCD). In the three-electrode system, GCD testing showed that the specific capacitance of the material reached 520.8 F/g at 0.5 A/g. After 2000 cycles at a current density of 1 A/g, the capacitance retention rate was 90.6%, demonstrating its enormous potential in the application of supercapacitor electrode materials. Foods containing tea could be widely utilized due to the addition of good tea ingredients, especially large-leaf yellow tea, which is rich with a good flavor. Applying this change to bread containing tea would improve its product quality. In this research, large-leaf yellow tea bread (LYB), possessing a special flavor, was developed using ultrafine large-leaf yellow tea powder and flour as the main raw materials. The amount of ultrafine large-leaf yellow tea powder added to bread was optimized using texture, sensation, and specific volume as comprehensive evaluation indicators. At the optimal dosage, the free amino acids, volatile flavor compounds, antioxidant activity, and in vitro starch digestibility of LYB were measured. Response surface optimization experimental results showed that the comprehensive score of bread was highest when the added amount of ultrafine large-leaf yellow tea powder was 3%. In particular, compared to blank bread (BB), adding ultrafine large-leaf yellow tea powder into bread could effectively increase its amino acid composition, enhance its volatile flavor compounds, improve the antioxidant capacity, and reduce the digestibility of starch. The primary challenges in fruit and vegetable preservation include extending storage duration while preserving sensory quality and nutritional value. In this study, sesbania gum (SG) was oxidized to prepare oxidized sesbania gum (OSG). An OSG/ZnO composite film was subsequently prepared, combining OSG, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and nano-zinc oxide (nano-ZnO). The preparation technology was determined via a response surface optimization experiment. When the addition amount of nano-ZnO exceeded 0.3 mg/mL, the composite films exhibited an antibacterial rate of over 90% against E. coli and S. aureus. For wampee (Clausena lansium (Lour.) Skeels) preservation, a OSG/ZnO-0.3 film was directly applied as a coating. The findings demonstrated favorable results in terms of the rate of rotting, soluble solids, and titrable acidity, effectively prolonging wampee fruit storage. This suggests the potential of an OSG composite film with nano-ZnO as a promising fruit packaging material, thereby expanding the application of SG and wampee fruit preservation. Acute ammonia exposure has detrimental effects on shrimp, but the underlying mechanisms remain to be fully explored. In the present study, we investigated the impact of acute ammonia exposure on the gut microbiota of the white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei and its association with shrimp mortality. Exposure to a lethal concentration of ammonia for 48 h resulted in increased mortality in L. vannamei, with severe damage to the hepatopancreas. Ammonia exposure led to a significant decrease in gut microbial diversity, along with the loss of beneficial bacterial taxa and the proliferation of pathogenic Vibrio strains. A phenotypic analysis revealed a transition from the dominance of aerobic to facultative anaerobic strains due to ammonia exposure. A functional analysis revealed that ammonia exposure led to an enrichment of genes related to biofilm formation, host colonization, and virulence pathogenicity. A species-level analysis and experiments suggest the key role of a Vibrio harveyi strain in causing shrimp disease and specificity under distinct environments. The creation of lightscapes in colleges and universities are of great significance in enhancing the perception of the campus environment, improving physical and mental health, and shaping humanistic connotations. This research aims to examine lightscape perceptions and impacts of different campuses. At Chongqing University A and B Campuses, lightscape walking experiments, subjective questionnaires, objective luminance measurements, and HDR picture processing were used to examine lightscape perception and factors. The relevance and differences in the perception of circadian lightscapes in the two campuses were analyzed using SPSS software. The study found: (1) natural lightscapes such as sky light, cloud shadow, and lake water reflection were the most popular during the daytime, while artificial lightscapes, such as decorative lighting of buildings, were positively evaluated at night; (2) the frequency of visits by a crowd directly impacts the ambiance of the environmental area; (3) males showed strong emotional awareness and social interaction skills in daytime, leading to increased social activity and stronger emotional responses, but no differences in nighttime; (4) optimal nighttime luminance enhances the overall perception satisfaction of the illumination; (5) the amount and arrangement of outdoor space, vegetation, minor landscape design, and service facilities all affect the perception of circadian lightscapes. It is imperative to elucidate the process of evaporation in lakes, particularly those that are freshwater and are situated in middle and high latitudes. Based on one-year evaporation and high-frequency meteorological–water quality data of Lake Wuliangsuhai, this study analyzed the applicability and driving mechanism of the evaporation model. These dynamics are elucidated by the vorticity covariance method combined with the multivariate constrained evaporation Modelling method. The findings of this study revealed that (1) Lake evaporation (ET) is affected by multiple meteorological–water quality constraints, and the water quality indicators significantly related to ET are also affected by lake stratification. The coupled meteorological–water quality evaporation model can explain 93% of the evaporation change, which is 20% higher than the traditional meteorological Modelling evaporation model. (2) The nighttime ET is mainly affected by the thermal inertia lag, and the nighttime ET loss in Lake Wuliangsuhai accounts for 37.34% of the total evaporation, which cannot be ignored. (3) The actual water surface evaporation of the lake is much smaller than that measured by the pan conversion method and the regional empirical C formula method. The cumulative evaporation of Lake Wuliangsuhai from the non-freezing period to the early glacial period converted from meteorological station data is 1333.5 mm. The total evaporation in the non-freezing period is 2.77~3.68 × 108 m3, calculated by the lake area of 325 km2, while the evaporation calculated by the eddy station is 1.91 × 108 m3. In addition, the ET value measured by the cumulative C formula method was 424.2% higher than that of the model method and exceeded the storage capacity. Low-frequency and limited environmental index observations may lead to an overestimation of the real lake evaporation. Therefore, in situ, high-frequency meteorological–water quality monitoring and the eddy method deserve more consideration in future research on lake evaporation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cell segmentation is an important task in the field of image processing, widely used in the life sciences and medical fields. Traditional methods are mainly based on pixel intensity and spatial relationships, but have limitations. In recent years, machine learning and deep learning methods have been widely used, providing more-accurate and efficient solutions for cell segmentation. The effort to develop efficient and accurate segmentation software tools has been one of the major focal points in the field of cell segmentation for years. However, each software tool has unique characteristics and adaptations, and no universal cell-segmentation software can achieve perfect results. In this review, we used three publicly available datasets containing multiple 2D cell-imaging modalities. A convective cell storm containing two differential reflectivity (ZDR) columns was observed with a dual-polarization phased-array radar (X-PAR) in Xixian County. Since a ZDR column is believed to correspond to a strong updraft and a single convective cell is considered to have a simple dynamic structure with one updraft core, how these two ZDR columns form and coexist is the focus of this study. The dynamic and microphysical structures around the two ZDR columns are studied under the mutual confirmation of the X-PAR observations and a cloud model simulation. The main ZDR column forms and maintains in an updraft whose bottom corresponds to a convergence of low-level and mid-level flow; it lasts from the early stages to the later stages. The secondary ZDR column emerges at the rear of the horizontal reflectivity (ZH) core relative to the moving direction of the cell; it forms in the middle stages and lasts for a shorter period, and its formation is under an air lifting forced by the divergent outflow of precipitation. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic relapsing inflammatory disorder with an increasing prevalence worldwide. Macrophage polarization is involved in the pathogenesis of IBD. Repolarization of macrophage has thus emerged as a novel therapeutic approach for managing IBD. Chensinin-1b, derived from the skin of Rana chensinensis, is a derivative of a native antimicrobial peptide (AMP). It shows anti-inflammatory effects in sepsis models and can potentially modulate macrophage polarization. The objective of this research was to study the role of chensinin-1b in macrophage polarization and dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis. RAW264.7 macrophages were polarized to the M1 phenotype using lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and simultaneously administered chensinin-1b at various concentrations. The ability of chenisnin-1b to reorient macrophage polarization was assessed by ELISA, qRT-PCR, and flow cytometry analysis. The addition of chensinin-1b significantly restrained the expression of M1-associated proinflammatory cytokines and surface markers, including TNF-α, IL-6, NO, and CD86, and exaggerated the expression of M2-associated anti-inflammatory cytokines and surface markers, including IL-10, TGF-β1, Arg-1, Fizz1, Chil3, and CD206. Mechanistically, via Western Blotting, we revealed that chensinin-1b induces macrophage polarization from the M1 to the M2 phenotype by inhibiting the phosphorylation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK). In mouse models of colitis, intraperitoneal administration of chensinin-1b alleviated symptoms induced by DSS, including weight loss, elevated disease activity index (DAI) scores, colon shortening, colonic tissue damage, and splenomegaly. Consistent with our in vitro data, chensinin-1b induced significant decreases in the expression of M1 phenotype biomarkers and increases in the expression of M2 phenotype biomarkers in the mouse colitis model. Furthermore, chensinin-1b treatment repressesed NF-κB phosphorylation in vivo. Overall, our data showed that chensinin-1b attenuates IBD by repolarizing macrophages from the M1 to the M2 phenotype, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for IBD. The silkworm (Bombyx mori) has served humankind through silk protein production. However, traditional sericulture and the silk industry have encountered considerable bottlenecks and must rely on major technological breakthroughs to keep up with the current rapid developments. The adoption of gene editing technology has nevertheless brought new hope to traditional sericulture and the silk industry. The long period and low efficiency of traditional genetic breeding methods to obtain high silk-yielding silkworm strains have hindered the development of the sericulture industry; the use of gene editing technology to specifically control the expression of genes related to silk gland development or silk protein synthesis is beneficial for obtaining silkworm strains with excellent traits. In this study, BmEcKL1 was specifically knocked out in the middle (MSGs) and posterior (PSGs) silk glands using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, and ΔBmEcKL1-MSG and ΔBmEcKL1-PSG strains with improved MSGs and PSGs and increased silk production were obtained. This work identifies and proves that BmEcKL1 directly or indirectly participates in silk gland development and silk protein synthesis, providing new perspectives for investigating silk gland development and silk protein synthesis mechanisms in silkworms, which is of great significance for selecting and breeding high silk-yielding silkworm varieties. The mechanical strength of rice culm, an essential factor for lodging resistance and yield maintenance, is influenced by the composition and structure of the cell wall. In this study, we characterized a rice brittle culm mutant 22 (bc22), derived from LR005 through ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) mutagenesis. The bc22 culm exhibited increased fragility and reduced mechanical strength compared to LR005. The mutant displayed pleiotropic effects, including a shorter plant height and panicle length, a smaller grain size, and the absence of the glume hairs. Scanning electron microscopy revealed a decrease in cell density and a looser structure in the bc22 culms. Biochemical analysis demonstrated a significant increase in hemicellulose content and a marked reduction in lignin content in the culm of bc22. Genetic analysis indicated that the brittle culm trait was governed by a single recessive gene. After employing bulked segregant analysis (BSA), whole-genome resequencing, and MutMap methods, LOC_Os02g25230 was identified as the candidate gene responsible for bc22. In bc22, a point mutation from proline (Pro) to leucine (Leu) in its coding region led to the pleiotropic phenotype. A complementation test further confirmed that the missense mutation causing the proline to leucine amino acid substitution in LOC_Os02g25230 was causative of the observed bc22 phenotype. Additionally, gene expression analysis showed that BC22 had higher expression levels in the culms, leaves, and spikelets compared to the roots. A novel fluorescent "off" probe R-β-D-1 containing a 1,2,3-triazole moiety was obtained by the Click reaction with azidoglucose using H8-BINOL as a substrate, and the structure was characterized by 1H NMR and 13C NMR and ESI-MS analysis. The fluorescence properties of R-β-D-1 in methanol were investigated, and it was found that R-β-D-1 could be selectively fluorescently quenched by Bi3+ in the recognition of 19 metal ions and basic cations. The recognition process of Bi3+ by R-β-D-1 was also investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy, SEM, AFM, etc. The complex pattern of R-β-D-1 with Bi3+ was determined by Job's curve as 1 + 1, and the binding constant Ka of R-β-D-1 and Bi3+ was valued by the Benesi–Hildebrand equation as 1.01 × 104 M−1, indicating that the binding force of R-β-D-1 and Bi3+ was medium. The lowest detection limit (LOD) of the self-assembled H8-BINOL derivative for Bi3+ was up to 0.065 µM. The mechanism for the recognition of Bi3+ by the sensor R-β-D-1 may be the intramolecular charge transfer effect (ICT), which was attributed to the fact that the N-3 of the triazole readily serves as an electron acceptor while the incorporation of Bi3+ serves as an electron donor, and the two readily undergo coordination leading to the quenching of fluorescence. In response to different immune challenges, immune cells migrate to specific sites in the body, where they perform their functions such as defense against infection, inflammation regulation, antigen recognition, and immune surveillance. Therefore, the migration ability is a fundamental aspect of immune cell function. Phosphoinositide signaling plays critical roles in modulating immune cell migration by controlling cell polarization, cytoskeletal rearrangement, protrusion formation, and uropod contraction. Upon chemoattractant stimulation, specific phosphoinositide kinases and phosphatases control the local phosphoinositide levels to establish polarized phosphoinositide distribution, which recruits phosphoinositide effectors to distinct subcellular locations to facilitate cell migration. Territory space is an ecological resource carrier and place for human development. Human activities and ecological systems are the basis of ecological product supply. Promoting territories' spatial protection and governance by improving the supply of ecological products is very important. In this study, we established an ecological product supply capacity evaluation index system involving three types of ecological products, i.e., ecological environmental products, ecological material products, and ecological cultural products. For the case of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, we comprehensively used principal component analysis, the equivalent factor method, and the entropy method to evaluate the supply capacity of ecological products from 2011 to 2021. Then, we analyzed the spatio-temporal pattern, combining the natural breakpoint and quantile classification methods, and analyzed the obstacle factors using the obstacle degree model of ecological supply. The results show that the supply capacity of different ecological products in each city are closely related to their ecological resource endowment. The supply capacity of ecological products exhibited an upward trend, with the highest ecological environmental product supply being relatively smaller than the ecological material product supply, while the largest growth rate was for ecological cultural product supply. The supply capacity of different ecological products varied across cities over time and displayed noticeable spatial differentiation. The main obstacle factors included eco-land, eco-tourism, eco-leisure, park green space, and fishery products, although there were variations among cities. Finally, based on the level, spatial-temporal pattern, and obstacle factors of ecological product supply, we proposed strategies for territory spatial protection and governance from the perspectives of the integrated protection of elements, structural regulation, and systematic governance. The development of coal-based activated carbon for supercapacitors provides a robust and effective approach toward the clean and efficient use of coal, and it also offers high-quality and low-cost raw materials for energy storage devices. However, the one-step activation method for preparing coal-based activated carbon has problems, such as difficulty in introducing surface-functional groups and high KOH dosage. In our work, activated carbon was prepared through an effective strategy of oxidation and KOH activation with a low KOH content by employing coal-based carbon dots as raw material. The influence of temperature during the KOH activation of carbon dots on a specific surface area, pore structure, and various quantities and types of surface-functional groups, as well as on the electrochemical performance of supercapacitors, was systematically studied. The as-prepared sample, with the alkali–carbon ratio of 0.75, processes a large specific surface area (1207 m2 g−1) and abundant surface-functional groups, which may provide enormous active sites and high wettability, thus bringing in high specific capacitance and boosted electrochemical performances. The oxygen and nitrogen content of the activated carbon decreases while the carbon content increases, and the activation temperature also increases. The as-prepared activated carbon reaches the highest specific capacitance of 202.2 F g−1 in a 6 M KOH electrolyte at a current density of 10 A g−1. Highlights: What are the main findings? The connection between cavity pressure, clamping force, and tie bar elongation is revealed and applied. The quality of the product is predicted based on the tie bar elongation, and the method is non-destructive, online, and highly efficient. What is the implication of the main finding? The NSGA III algorithm can solve the multi-objective optimization problem while making the final obtained Pareto solution as well as being uniformly distributed. LSR lenses with low residual stress and high transmittance can be produced using this method. This study aimed to improve the injection molding quality of LSR material lenses by optimizing the process parameters. To achieve this goal, we employed the population-based optimization algorithm NSGA-III, which can simultaneously optimize multiple objective functions and identify an equilibrium point among them, thereby reducing the time required to find the optimal process parameters. We utilized analysis software to simulate the injection molding process of LSR material lenses, with a specific focus on examining the relationship between tie bar elongation and the optimized process parameters. During the study, we intentionally varied key process parameters, including the melt temperature, holding pressure, and holding time, to analyze their impact on the residual stress of the final product. In order to investigate the intricate relationship between the tie bar yield, injection molding process parameters, and lens residual stress, we installed strain sensors on the tie bar to continuously monitor changes in clamping force throughout the injection molding process. The experimental results showed that both the tie bar force and mold cavity pressure exerted significant influence on residual stresses. By applying the NSGA-III algorithm for optimization, we successfully determined the optimal process parameters, which included a melt temperature of 34.92 °C, a holding pressure of 33.97 MPa, and a holding time of 9.96 s. In comparison to the initially recommended process parameters during the design phase, the optimized parameters led to reductions of 12.98% in clamping force and 47.14% in residual stress. Furthermore, the average transmittance of the actual product remained within the range of 95–98%. In summary, this approach not only enables the prediction of the lens's residual stress trends based on the tie bar elongation, but also leads to a substantial enhancement of lens quality, characterized by reduced residual stress and improved transmittance through the optimization of process parameters. The foot, as the foundation of the human body, bears the vast majority of the body's weight. Obese children bear more weight than healthy children in the process of walking and running. This study compared three footwear midsole structures (solid, lattice, and chiral) based on plantar pressure distribution and bone stress in obese and healthy children through numerical simulation. The preparation for the study included obtaining a thin-slice CT scan of a healthy 9-year-old boy's right foot, and this study distinguished between a healthy and an obese child by applying external loadings of 25 kg and 50 kg in the finite element models. The simulation results showed that the plantar pressure was mainly concentrated in the forefoot and heel due to the distribution of gravity (first metatarsal, fourth metatarsal, and heel bone, corresponding to plantar regions M1, M4, and HM and HL) on the foot in normal standing. Compared with the lattice and solid EVA structures, in both healthy and obese children, the percentage reduction in plantar pressure due to the chiral structure in the areas M1, M4, HM, and HL was the largest with values of 38.69%, 34.25%, 64.24%, and 54.03% for an obese child and 33.99%, 28.25%, 56.08%, and 56.96% for a healthy child. On the other hand, higher pressures (15.19 kPa for an obese child and 5.42 kPa for a healthy child) were observed in the MF area when using the chiral structure than when using the other two structures, which means that this structure can transfer an amount of pressure from the heel to the arch, resulting in a release in the pressure at the heel region and providing support at the arch. In addition, the study found that the chiral structure was not highly sensitive to the external application of body weight. This indicates that the chiral structure is more stable than the other two structures and is minimally affected by changes in external conditions. The findings in this research lay the groundwork for clinical prevention and intervention in foot disorders in obese children and provide new research ideas for shoe midsole manufacturers. Silk nanofibers (SNF) have great applications in high-performance functional nanocomposites due to their excellent mechanical properties, biocompatibility, and degradability. However, the preparation of SNF by traditional methods often requires the use of some environmentally harmful or toxic reagents, limiting its application in green chemistry. In this paper, we successfully prepared SNF using natural silk as raw material and solvent stripping technology by adjusting the solvent concentration and solution ratio (the diameter of about 120 nm). Using the above SNFs as raw materials, SNF membranes were prepared by vacuum filtration technology. In addition, we prepared an SNF/MXene nanocomposite material with excellent humidity sensitivity by simply coating MXene nanosheets with silk fibers. The conductivity of the material can approach 1400.6 S m−1 with excellent mechanical strength (51.34 MPa). The SNF/MXene nanocomposite material with high mechanical properties, high conductivity, and green degradability can be potentially applied in the field of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, providing a feasible approach for the development of functional nanocomposite materials. Flower color is a key ornamental trait in plants. The petals of Gloriosa superba 'Rothschildiana' petals undergo a color transformation from yellow to red during their development, but the molecular mechanism of this process remains unexplored. This study examines the anthocyanin profiles and gene expression patterns of 'Rothschildiana' petals across four developmental stages: bud (S1), initial opening (S2), half opening (S3), and full opening stage (S4). A total of 59 anthocyanins were identified with significant increases in cyanidin-3,5-O-diglucoside, cyanidin-3-O-glucoside, pelargonidin-3-O-glucoside, and pelargonidin-3,5-O-diglucoside levels observed during petal maturation. Transcriptome analysis revealed 46 differentially expressed genes implicated in flavonoid and anthocyanin biosynthesis. Additionally, three gene modules were found to be associated with anthocyanin accumulation throughout flower development. Expression levels of genes associated with auxin, abscisic acid, brassinosteroid signaling, and transcription factors such as NACs and WRKYs underwent significant changes and exhibited strong correlations with several flavonoid and anthocyanin biosynthetic genes in these modules. The deterioration of brain glucose metabolism predates the clinical onset of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) positively improve brain glucose metabolism and decrease the expression of AD-related proteins. However, the effects of the combined intervention are unclear. The present study explored the effects of the supplementation of MCTs combined with DHA in improving brain glucose metabolism and decreasing AD-related protein expression levels in APP/PS1 mice. The mice were assigned into four dietary treatment groups: the control group, MCTs group, DHA group, and MCTs + DHA group. The corresponding diet of the respective groups was fed to mice from the age of 3 to 11 months. The results showed that the supplementation of MCTs combined with DHA could increase serum octanoic acid (C8:0), decanoic acid (C10:0), DHA, and β-hydroxybutyrate (β-HB) levels; improve glucose metabolism; and reduce nerve cell apoptosis in the brain. Moreover, it also aided with decreasing the expression levels of amyloid beta protein (Aβ), amyloid precursor protein (APP), β-site APP cleaving enzyme-1 (BACE1), and presenilin-1 (PS1) in the brain. Furthermore, the supplementation of MCTs + DHA was significantly more beneficial than that of MCTs or DHA alone. In conclusion, the supplementation of MCTs combined with DHA could improve energy metabolism in the brain of APP/PS1 mice, thus decreasing nerve cell apoptosis and inhibiting the expression of Aβ. Previous studies found that Poria cocos polysaccharides (PCPs) significantly enhanced the antioxidant activity in piglet intestines while increasing the abundance of Lactobacillus. However, the relationship between Lactobacillus and antioxidant activity has yet to be verified, and the mode of action needs further investigation. Six Lactobacillus strains isolated from the intestines of neonatal piglets fed with PCPs were studied to investigate the relationship between Lactobacillus and intestinal oxidative stress. The results showed that three of them alleviated intestinal oxidative stress and protected the intestinal barrier. Subsequently, we extracted the extracellular vesicles (EVs) of these three Lactobacillus strains to verify their intestinal protection mode of action. We found that these EVs exerted an excellent antioxidant effect and intestinal barrier protection and could directly improve intestinal microbial composition. Our findings suggested that the EVs of the three Lactobacillus strains could enhance antioxidant activity by improving the physical intestinal barrier and remodeling gut microbiota. Unlike probiotics, which should be pre-colonized, EVs can act directly on the intestines. This study provides new ideas for the subsequent development of products to protect intestinal health. This study aimed to address the issue of inadequate water resistance in asphalt pavement tack coat materials by preparing super adhesive emulsified asphalt (SAE). Due to the lack of consideration of dynamic water scouring in previous studies on the water resistance analysis of tack coat materials, this research employed self-designed inclined shear, pullout, and dynamic water scouring devices to examine the shear and tensile strength of matrix emulsified asphalt, styrene block copolymer (SBS)-modified emulsified asphalt, and SAE under various conditions of sprinkling volumes, temperatures, and scouring times. The findings indicate that, in the dynamic water scouring test conducted under the optimal sprinkling amount of tack coat material and the most unfavorable temperature conditions between layers, SAE exhibited residual shear and tensile strengths that were higher than SBS-modified emulsified asphalt and matrix emulsified asphalt. Combining polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) and polyurethane (PU) as two modifiers in the mix exhibits a synergistic effect, enhancing the bonding performance, scouring resistance, and water resistance of SAE as the tack coat material. Tin oxide (SnO2) is a traditional gas-sensitive semiconductor with excellent response to various gases. However, its sensor performances are attenuated by the utility factor during gas diffusion in the sensing body. Therefore, the rational design of microstructure of devices is attractive and necessary because it may provide a sensible and controllable microstructure, which facilitates gas diffusion and inhibits the utility factor. Herein, the mesoporous tin oxide (MPTD) quantum dot thin film for H2S gas sensors is prepared by a facile route, which creates a mesoporous microstructure for thin films by the thermal decomposition of NH4Cl. The pore size of the thin films is controlled to be 19.36–40.13 nm. The mesoporous microstructure exhibits enhanced gas-sensing properties amounting to a 30-fold increase in response and 1/3 reduction in recovery time in H2S detection at room temperature (25 °C), with a limit of detection of 0.4 ppm. To determine the importance of sensor parameters such as pore size, film thickness, and grain size, an eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm model was developed to examine the feature importance of each parameter on the gas-sensing performance of the MPTD sensors. The visual illustration of parameter importance is revealed to facilitate the optimization of technical preparation parameters as well as the rational design of semiconductor gas sensors. Reasonable end effect equivalence is of vital importance in the 2-D finite element analysis (FEA) for a line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor (LSPMSM) equipped with a hybrid solid rotor for improved starting and synchronous capabilities. In this work, a series of correction factors are applied to the rotor conductivity to include the end effect in the 2-D FEA model. Derivation of these correction factors completes after the separation of different torque components. A dynamic motor model of the LSPMSM is established with some parameters extracted from the 2-D FEA using the conductivity correction. Outcomes of this model exhibit good agreements with the 3-D FEA results, by which the introduced correction factors are validated to possess the acceptable precision and effectiveness. Using high-precision CT scanning equipment, two series of tests on frost and salt weathering were conducted to investigate the characteristics of pore change in tuff. Experiments on frost and salt aging were performed with pieces of tuff from the same area of southeast China. One set of tuff samples was soaked in saturated sodium sulfate or magnesium sulfate solutions for 60 days. Another set of tuff samples were subjected to 60 freeze–thaw cycles after being submerged in saturated sodium sulfate or magnesium sulfate solutions for 48 h. Our study demonstrates that processes such as salt erosion and freeze–thaw affect the pore evolution of tuffs significantly. Tuff lost 1.56% of its mass after being submerged in magnesium sulfate solutions for 60 days, while tuff submerged in sodium sulfate solutions gained a negative 0.33% of its mass. After 60 freeze–thaw cycles, the mass loss of tuff samples immersed in sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, and distilled water solutions was 3.52%, 3.58%, and 3.82%, respectively. The average porosity of the magnesium sulfate and sodium sulfate test groups increased by 6.59% and 4.14%, respectively, when the number of days of salt erosion was extended from 10 to 60 days. The average porosity of tuff samples immersed in magnesium persulfate and sodium sulfate solutions increased by 2.25% and 2.18%, respectively, as the number of freeze–thaw cycles went from 10 to 60. Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the main cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, with a low five-year survival rate, posing a serious threat to human health. In recent years, the delivery of antitumor drugs using a nanostructured lipid carrier (NLC) has become a subject of research. This study aimed to develop an apigenin (AP)-loaded nanostructured lipid carrier (AP-NLC) by melt sonication using glyceryl monostearate (GMS), glyceryl triacetate, and poloxamer 188. The optimal prescription of AP-NLC was screened by central composite design response surface methodology (CCD-RSM) based on a single-factor experiment using encapsulation efficiency (EE%) and drug loading (DL%) as response values and then evaluated for its antitumor effects on NCI-H1299 cells. A series of characterization analyses of AP-NLC prepared according to the optimal prescription were carried out using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Subsequent screening of the lyophilization protectants revealed that mannitol could better maintain the lyophilization effect. The in vitro hemolysis assay of this formulation indicated that it may be safe for intravenous injection. Moreover, AP-NLC presented a greater ability to inhibit the proliferation, migration, and invasion of NCI-H1299 cells compared to AP. Eleutherococcus sessiliflorus (Rupr. & Maxim.) S.Y.Hu (E. sessiliflorus), a member of the Araliaceae family, is a valuable plant widely used for medicinal and dietary purposes. The tender shoots of E. sessiliflorus are commonly consumed as a staple wild vegetable. The fruits of E. sessiliflorus, known for their rich flavor, play a crucial role in the production of beverages and fruit wines. The root barks of E. sessiliflorus are renowned for their therapeutic effects, including dispelling wind and dampness, strengthening tendons and bones, promoting blood circulation, and removing stasis. To compile a comprehensive collection of information on E. sessiliflorus, extensive searches were conducted in databases such as Web of Science, PubMed, ProQuest, and CNKI. This review aims to provide a detailed exposition of E. sessiliflorus from various perspectives, including phytochemistry and pharmacological effects, to lay a solid foundation for further investigations into its potential uses. Moreover, this review aims to introduce innovative ideas for the rational utilization of E. sessiliflorus resources and the efficient development of related products. To date, a total of 314 compounds have been isolated and identified from E. sessiliflorus, encompassing terpenoids, phenylpropanoids, flavonoids, volatile oils, organic acids and their esters, nitrogenous compounds, quinones, phenolics, and carbohydrates. Among these, triterpenoids and phenylpropanoids are the primary bioactive components, with E. sessiliflorus containing unique 3,4-seco-lupane triterpenoids. These compounds have demonstrated promising properties such as anti-oxidative stress, anti-aging, antiplatelet aggregation, and antitumor effects. Additionally, they show potential in improving glucose metabolism, cardiovascular systems, and immune systems. Despite some existing basic research on E. sessiliflorus, further investigations are required to enhance our understanding of its mechanisms of action, quality assessment, and formulation studies. A more comprehensive investigation into E. sessiliflorus is warranted to delve deeper into its mechanisms of action and potentially expand its pharmaceutical resources, thus facilitating its development and utilization. Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the world's most crucial food crops, as it currently supports more than half of the world's population. However, the presence of sheath blight (SB) caused by Rhizoctonia solani has become a significant issue for rice agriculture. This disease is responsible for causing severe yield losses each year and is a threat to global food security. The breeding of SB-resistant rice varieties requires a thorough understanding of the molecular mechanisms involved and the exploration of immune genes in rice. To this end, we conducted a screening of rice cultivars for resistance to SB and compared the transcriptome based on RNA-seq between the most tolerant and susceptible cultivars. Our study revealed significant transcriptomic differences between the tolerant cultivar ZhengDao 22 (ZD) and the most susceptible cultivar XinZhi No.1 (XZ) in response to R. solani invasion. Specifically, the tolerant cultivar showed 7066 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), while the susceptible cultivar showed only 60 DEGs. In further analysis, we observed clear differences in gene category between up- and down-regulated expression of genes (uDEGs and dDEGs) based on Gene Ontology (GO) classes in response to infection in the tolerant cultivar ZD, and then identified uDEGs related to cell surface pattern recognition receptors, the Ca2+ ion signaling pathway, and the Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase (MAPK) cascade that play a positive role against R. solani. In addition, DEGs of the jasmonic acid and ethylene signaling pathways were mainly positively regulated, whereas DEGs of the auxin signaling pathway were mainly negatively regulated. Transcription factors were involved in the immune response as either positive or negative regulators of the response to this pathogen. Furthermore, our results showed that chloroplasts play a crucial role and that reduced photosynthetic capacity is a critical feature of this response. The results of this research have important implications for better characterization of the molecular mechanism of SB resistance and for the development of resistant cultivars through molecular breeding methods. Electromagnetic coils are indispensable components for energy conversion and transformation in various systems across industries. However, electromagnetic coil insulation failure occurs frequently, which can lead to serious consequences. To facilitate predictive maintenance for industrial systems, it is essential to monitor insulation degradation prior to the formation of turn-to-turn shorts. This paper experimentally investigates coil insulation degradation from both macro and micro perspectives. At the macro level, an evaluation index based on a weighted linear combination of trend, monotonicity and robustness is proposed to construct a degradation-sensitive health indicator (DSHI) based on high-frequency electrical response parameters for precise insulation degradation monitoring. While at the micro level, a coil finite element analysis and twisted pair accelerated degradation test are conducted to obtain the actual turn-to-turn insulation status. The correlation analysis between macroscopic and microscopic effects of insulation degradation is used to verify the proposed DSHI-based method. Further, it helps to determine the threshold of DSHI. Laportea bulbifera (Sieb. et Zucc.) Wedd., a plant with a long history of medicinal use, possesses uncertainly defined medicament portions while its antioxidant capacity remains largely unexplored. To gain a better understanding of its medicinal value, this study focused on investigating the Laportea bulbifera aboveground part (LBAP) and the Laportea bulbifera root (LBR). Through an assessment of the bioactive compound content, a significant finding emerged: the LBR exhibited notably higher levels of these bioactive phytochemicals compared to the LBAP. This observation was further reinforced by the antioxidant assays, which demonstrated the superiority of the LBR's antioxidant capacity. The experimental results unequivocally indicate that the root is the optimal medicament portion for Laportea bulbifera. Furthermore, it was discovered that the presence of alcohol in the extraction solvent significantly enhanced the extraction of active ingredients, with the methanol extract of LBR performing the best among the extracts tested. Consequently, this extract was selected for further research. Leveraging cutting-edge UHPLC-ESI-Q-TOF-MS technology, the methanol extract of LBR was meticulously analyzed, revealing the presence of 41 compounds, primarily belonging to the phenolics and fatty acids. Remarkably, stability experiments demonstrated that the phenolics in the methanol extract maintained their stability across various pH values and during in vitro simulations of the human digestive system, albeit showing gradual degradation under high temperatures. Furthermore, the oxidative stability tests conducted on oils revealed the potential of the methanol extract as a stabilizer for olive oil and sunflower oil. Moreover, oral acute toxicity studies confirmed the low toxicity of the methanol extract, further supporting its safe use for medicinal purposes. Of particular note, histopathological examination and biochemical analysis affirmed the remarkable protective effects of the methanol extract against d-galactosamine-induced liver damage. Celery (Apium graveolens L.) is an important vegetable crop cultivated worldwide for its medicinal properties and distinctive flavor. Volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis is a valuable tool for the identification and classification of species. Currently, less research has been conducted on aroma compounds in different celery varieties and colors. In this study, five different colored celery were quantitatively analyzed for VOCs using HS-SPME, GC-MS determination, and stoichiometry methods. The result revealed that γ-terpinene, d-limonene, 2-hexenal,-(E)-, and β-myrcene contributed primarily to the celery aroma. The composition of compounds in celery exhibited a correlation not only with the color of the variety, with green celery displaying a higher concentration compared with other varieties, but also with the specific organ, whereby the content and distribution of volatile compounds were primarily influenced by the leaf rather than the petiole. Seven key genes influencing terpenoid synthesis were screened to detect expression levels. Most of the genes exhibited higher expression in leaves than petioles. In addition, some genes, particularly AgDXS and AgIDI, have higher expression levels in celery than other genes, thereby influencing the regulation of terpenoid synthesis through the MEP and MVA pathways, such as hydrocarbon monoterpenes. This study identified the characteristics of flavor compounds and key aroma components in different colored celery varieties and explored key genes involved in the regulation of terpenoid synthesis, laying a theoretical foundation for understanding flavor chemistry and improving its quality. Information disclosure is an important prerequisite and guarantee for the government to answer public health incidents in a timely manner, and is also a basic requirement for the management of emergencies. Evaluating the information disclosure on public health incidents is conducive to improving the quality of emergency information disclosure and comprehensively enhancing the emergency answer and treatment ability of public health incidents. In response to the complex uncertainties in the assessment of information disclosure on public health incidents, this paper proposes a new fuzzy multi-attribute evaluation method. First, a multi-attribute evaluation system for the assessment of information disclosure on public health emergencies is proposed. Then, a novel approach to information disclosure assessment is proposed on the basis of Dombi power divided Muirhead mean operators of fractional orthotriple fuzzy, which can fully consider the relationship between properties and the division of relationships within properties and reduce the distortion in the evaluation process. Meanwhile, it can avoid the impact of singular values on the overall evaluation outcomes of the government.
