Abstract

The author offers information on conflicts between Russian and Ukrainian Christians in Ukraine. He informs that Ukrainians participated in Maidan protests and demanded political change of their own and wanted distance from Russia in favor of the bureaucratic-oligarchic capitalism of the West. It further informs that in Russia, the principle of the civic responsibility of Christians is supported by Orthodox as well as Protestant churches.
