Abstract

An essay is presented on the role of religious belief in the formation of Galician identity in Ukraine. It examines the influence of religion in the separation of both the national culture and language of the Ukrainians of Galicia. It aldo cites the influence of religious difference to the separation of national-linguistic boundaries.
