To address the increasing hydrogen demand and carbon emissions of industrial parks, this paper proposes an integrated energy system dispatch strategy considering multi-hydrogen supply and comprehensive demand response. This model adopts power-to-gas technology to produce green hydrogen, replacing a portion of gray hydrogen and incorporates a carbon capture system to effectively reduce the overall carbon emissions of the industrial park. Meanwhile, incentive-based and price-based demand response strategies are implemented to optimize the load curve. A scheduling model is established targeting the minimization of procurement, operation, carbon emission, and wind curtailment costs. The case study of a northern industrial park in China demonstrates that the joint supply of green and gray hydrogen reduces carbon emissions by 40.98% and costs by 17.93% compared to solely using gray hydrogen. The proposed approach successfully coordinates the economic and environmental performance of the integrated energy system. Analysis of Chinese real estate market shifted from eco nomic fundamentals to non-fundamentals, but consensus conclusions are still rarely reached. This is because institutional perspectives and national subjects are still lacking. Based on critical realistic approach, this paper integrates a state–society relationship and institution provision, constructing an analytical framework for the role of state capacity in the institutional construction of the real estate market. In terms of the intervention of the state on actors in the Chinese real estate market, the central government influences local governments, interest groups, and society at large through its administrative, extracting, and market service capacities, respectively, forming a chain of interests that serves the state–society relationship. To understand the characteristics of Vibrio isolates in aquatic environments in China and their public health significance, this study investigated water samples in six cities in China in 2020. A total of 88 sampling locations were included and Vibrio isolates were identified in 81 of them. A total of 143 Vibrio isolates belonging to 16 species were selected for characterization. The population structure of Vibrio species showed great differences among the six cities, indicating regional specificity. The presence of virulence genes was examined for the isolates (n = 78) of five pathogenic Vibrio species. All isolates except one (n = 77) contained at least one virulence gene and isolates belonging to the same species showed very similar virulence gene profiles. Then, 26 isolates from 12 species were examined by multilocus sequence typing and were assigned to 25 STs, of which 24 STs were new. Also, the presence of antibiotic-resistant genes was investigated for all 143 isolates and only three isolates were found to contain genes from aminoglycosides, phenicols, beta-lactams or the tetracycline family. Our results provide valuable insights into the Vibrio community in Chinese aquatic environments and can be applied as guidance for the environmental surveillance of the risk of Vibrio isolates. Dengue fever virus (DENV) is a mosquito-borne flavivirus that poses a serious risk to human health. Aedes albopictus is a widely distributed vector of dengue fever in China. Based on the impact of physiological activity, the microbiome in A. albopictus will provide a novel environment-friendly approach to control DENV transmission. We performed metagenomic sequencing on A. albopictus before and after exposure to DENV blood meal to detect microbiome variation of A. albopictus with different susceptibilities to DENV. The dominant phyla in A. albopictus microbiome were Proteobacteria and Ascomycota , and the dominant genera were Aspergillus and Metarhizium. Gammaproteobacteria bacterium , Lactobacillus harbinensis , and Neurospora crassa differed significantly after DENV infection. There were 15 different microorganisms found to be involved in mosquito immunity and metabolism, such as Alphaproteobacteria bacterium , Methyloglobulus morosus , and Shigella sonnei , which might have an impact on the DENV susceptibility of A. albopictus. It was hypothesized that the lack of specific bacteria may lead to increased susceptibility of A. albopictus to DENV. Interventions in the microbiome composition or specific bacteria of A. albopictus may affect the susceptibility to DENV and control the mosquito-borne diseases efficiently. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Streptomycin is considered to be one of the effective antibiotics for the treatment of plague. In order to investigate the streptomycin resistance of Y. pestis in China, we evaluated streptomycin susceptibility of 536 Y. pestis strains in China in vitro using the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and screened streptomycin resistance-associated genes (strA and strB) by PCR method. A clinical Y. pestis isolate (S19960127) exhibited high-level resistance to streptomycin (the MIC was 4,096 mg/L). The strain (biovar antiqua) was isolated from a pneumonic plague outbreak in 1996 in Tibet Autonomous Region, China, belonging to the Marmota himalayana Qinghai–Tibet Plateau plague focus. In contrast to previously reported streptomycin resistance mediated by conjugative plasmids, the genome sequencing and allelic replacement experiments demonstrated that an rpsL gene (ribosomal protein S12) mutation with substitution of amino-acid 43 (K43R) was responsible for the high-level resistance to streptomycin in strain S19960127, which is consistent with the mutation reported in some streptomycin-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains. Streptomycin is used as the first-line treatment against plague in many countries. The emergence of streptomycin resistance in Y. pestis represents a critical public health problem. So streptomycin susceptibility monitoring of Y. pestis isolates should not only include plasmid-mediated resistance but also include the ribosomal protein S12 gene (rpsL) mutation, especially when treatment failure is suspected due to antibiotic resistance. Author summary: The plague natural foci are widely distributed in the world, and correspondingly, the plague still poses a significant threat to human health in some countries with endemic plague foci. Streptomycin is used as the first-line treatment against plague in many countries for the antibiotic is considered to be one of the effective antibiotics, particularly for the treatment of pneumonic plague. The resistance to streptomycin had been reported in Y. pestis strains from Madagascar in previous studies. In this study, we reported the high-level resistance to streptomycin in a clinical isolate of Y. pestis from a pneumonic patient in Tibet Autonomous Region, China, and a novel mechanism of streptomycin resistance, i.e. mutation in the rpsL gene were identified. The knowledge acquired about streptomycin resistance in Y. pestis will remain of great practical value. For the emergence of resistance to streptomycin in Y. pestis would render the treatment failure, thus corresponding antibiotic monitoring should be routinely carried out in countries threatened by plague. In addition, based on our further understanding about streptomycin resistance of Y. pestis isolates, such monitoring should not only include plasmid-mediated resistance but also include the ribosomal protein S12 gene (rpsL) mutation in Y. pestis isolates. In order to improve the adsorption efficiency of biochar in water treatment, biochar–graphene (BG) composites were prepared by the one-step dip coating method and applied to remove phthalates from water. Firstly, the materials and equipment needed for the experiment are introduced. The steps of preparing graphene oxide (GO) by the improved Hummers method and BG composites by one-step dip coating are discussed. Then, the morphology characterization, adsorption performance measurement, and isothermal model of BG composites are introduced. Finally, the structure characterization, adsorption kinetics, and adsorption isotherms of BG composites are analyzed. The results show that the properties of biochar could be changed by one-step dip coating, and the biochar could form composites with graphene. Compared with biochar, biochar–graphene composites have greater surface area and porosity. When the pyrolysis temperature was 600 °C, the specific surface area of biochar was 8.4 m2g−1, and the specific surface area of the biochar–graphene composite was 221.3 m2g−1. When the temperature was 300 °C, the specific surface area of biochar was 11.01 m2g−1, and the specific surface area of biochar–graphene composite was 251.82 m2g−1. The formation of graphene on the surface of biochar can increase the stability of the composite and acts as a very high potential active site. The porous structure and surface properties of biochar–graphene composites regulate the adsorption rate of pollutant molecules, thereby improving the adsorption performance. When the adsorption equilibrium was reached, the adsorption effect of phthalate esters on the biochar/graphene composite at the pyrolysis temperature of 600 °C was the best, and the adsorption capacity of Dimethyl phthalate (DMP)was 35.2 mg/g, that of Diethyl phthalate (DEP) was 26.4 mg/g, and that of Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) was 25.1 mg/g. The adsorption effect of DMP was the best. The results of the isotherm study indicate that the adsorption of phthalates by BG composites has great potential, which provides a good theoretical basis for the application of BG composites in environmental protection in China. "The pilot program of the pension insurance system reform of institution staff" was passed in 2008,which (i) clarified the scope of the pilot and the applicable object and proposed to establish a basic old-age insurance system by combining social pooling and individual account, (ii) defined their basic pension according to whether s/he is one of long-standing, new or in between, and (iii) promoted the reform in a smooth manner. However, the current scheme is unfair in the coverage, and the decision of the payment level is unreasonable, which will for sure give rise to decrease of pension replacement rate. Hence, we need to concern all the institutions' staff, even the public functionaries, to implement the contribution principle for combing the units and the individuals, unified payment base, unified payment proportion and unified method of calculation and payment. At the same time, we may divide the institutions' old-age insurance into "basic endowment insurance and occupational pension" to form a more equitable and sustainable endowment insurance system by testing this new attempt, and correct the proportion of payment and the method of calculation. Objective: To investigate parental knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) toward adolescent depression., Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted between October 2022 and October 2023 at The First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University among parents of adolescents diagnosed with depression. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect the parents' demographic characteristics and KAP toward adolescent depression., Results: A total of 522 questionnaires were collected from parents of depressed adolescents. Among the participants, 383 (73.37%) were female. In addition, 426 participants (81.61%) had children aged 14-18. The mean knowledge, attitude, and practice scores were 9.09 ± 2.37 (possible range: 0-12), 37.04 ± 4.11 (possible range: 11-55), and 31.53 ± 3.84 (possible range: 8-40), respectively. There were significant positive correlations between knowledge and attitude ( r  = 0.225, p  < 0.001), knowledge and practice ( r  = 0.240, p  < 0.001), and attitude and practice ( r  = 0.381, p  < 0.001). The path analysis showed significant direct effects of knowledge on attitude (β = 0.422, p  < 0.001) and practice (β = 0.283, p  < 0.001). There was an indirect effect of knowledge on practice through attitude (β = 0.131, p  = 0.004). Attitude directly impacted practice (β = 0.311, p  < 0.001)., Conclusion: Parents of adolescents diagnosed with depression exhibited moderate KAP regarding adolescent depression. The study underscored the importance of targeted interventions to improve parental KAP in supporting adolescents with depression. Aiming to understand the responses of soil seed bank to different water levels, we investigated vegetation and soil seed bank along a water level gradient (frequently flooded area, unflooded area) on the floodplain wetland of Juzhang River. We used the structural equation model to explore the direct and indirect effects of water level on soil seed bank, and used non-metric multidimensional scaling (NMDS) to assess the role of soil seed bank for vegetation regeneration. The results showed that the density of transient and persistent seed banks at unflooded area was 36.9% and 7.8% higher than that of frequently flooded area, respectively. Shannon index and Pielou index of seed bank and vegetation were significantly affected by water level and sampling location. Water level significantly affected the similarity between seed bank and aboveground vegetation, and the similarity of persistent seed bank with aboveground vegetation was significantly higher than that with transient seed bank. Structural equation model showed that water level had a direct effect on seed bank density, and indirect effects on density and richness of seed bank via affecting soil pH and NH 4 + -N content. NMDS results showed that there was no significant difference in the composition of the persistent seed bank and vegetation community in autumn under different water levels, but water level significantly changed the community composition of transient seed bank. Transient seed bank was affected by the vegetation and soil property, while persistent seed bank was determined by aboveground vegetation and water level. Although soil seed bank had low regeneration potential for the vegetation communities in floodplain wetlands, soil seed bank could not be neglected during the restoration of propagule diversity after disturbance in wetlands. Persistent seed bank would be an importance source of diversity of propagules for floodplain wetlands restoration following disturbance.

In recent years, a changing global climate and the continuous expansion of the intensity and scope of human activities have led to regional differentiation in the surface landscape. This has caused numerous ecological risks under multiple pressure sources, gradually becoming an important factor restricting the sustainable development of economic and social health. With the continuous development of the social economy, land use and associated ecological risks will inevitably change. According to the forest transformation theory and the environmental Kuznets curve, we put forward the theoretical framework of ecological risk transformation of land-use change and took Zhangjiachuan County (China) as an example to verify it. Therefore, on the basis of Landsat satellite data, this paper used landscape structures to calculate an ecological risk index, and evaluated the ecological risk of land-use changes through pattern index analyses. The results show that, from 2000 to 2020, the ecological risk index of land-use change in Zhangjiachuan County exhibited an increasing and then decreasing trend, showing an overall "inverted U-shaped" trend of change consistent with the transformation theoretical framework of ecological risks of land use change. Secondly, in terms of patterns, the ecological risk of land-use change in Zhangjiachuan County showed a distribution feature of high in the west and low in the east. In 2000, high-risk areas were mainly concentrated in the central and northern areas, while low-risk areas were mainly concentrated in the eastern areas. From 2000 to 2015, the medium-risk areas expanded to the west and midwest, and the geographic centers of the risk areas were slightly offset. From 2015 to 2020, the overall pattern of ecological risk areas was basically the same as that of the previous stage, but the medium-risk areas were slightly reduced. In terms of quantity, from 2000 to 2015, the areas of the lowest risk level and low risk level decreased, while the areas of medium risk level, high risk level, and the highest risk level increased; from 2015 to 2020, the areas of the lowest risk level and low risk level increased, and the areas of medium risk level, high risk level, and highest risk level decreased. Lastly, the spatial aggregation of ecological risks in Zhangjiachuan County weakened slightly from 2000 to 2005, gradually increased from 2005 to 2015, and then slightly weakened from 2015 to 2020.

Background: Tumor grade determined by the Ki67 index is the best prognostic factor for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs). However, we often observe that the grade of metastases differs from that of their primary tumors. This study aimed to investigate the frequency of grade changes between primary tumors and metastases, explore its association with clinical characteristics, and correlate the findings with the prognosis., Methods: Six hundred forty-eight patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms treated at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center were screened for inclusion, and 103 patients with PanNETs who had paired primary tumors and metastases with an available Ki67 index were included. Re-evaluation of Ki67 was performed on 98 available samples from 69 patients., Results: Fifty cases (48.5%) had a Ki67 index variation, and 18 cases (17.5%) displayed a grade increase. Metachronous metastases showed significantly higher Ki67 index variation than synchronous metastases ( P =0.028). Kaplan-Meier analyses showed that high-grade metastases compared to low-grade primary tumors were significantly associated with decreased progression-free survival (PFS, P =0.012) and overall survival (OS, P =0.027). Although coal is difficult to replace in the short term, the large-scale production and consumption of coal have significant impacts on the ecological environment. The severe disturbances, such as land excavation and occupation, that accompany the mining of mineral resources have caused dramatic changes in land cover and a significant pressure on the sensitive and fragile ecological environment. To analyze the temporal and spatial evolution trends and the differences in land use in different typical mining areas in Inner Mongolia, as well as the evaluation system and driving mechanisms of land use evolution, this study takes the typical open-pit coal mines in Inner Mongolia as the research objects and, based on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform, analyzes the dynamic evolution characteristics and driving factors of land use in typical open-pit coal mines in Inner Mongolia from 2001 to 2020. The change trend of land use in typical open-pit mining areas in Inner Mongolia for the past 20 years is obvious, with the highest fluctuations for grassland, mining land, cropland, and residential/industrial land. Land use in the open-pit coal mining area is greatly affected by mining factors. From the perspective of spatial variation, the most important driving factor is the distance from national roads and railways, followed by the annual average temperature and annual average precipitation and topographical conditions, such as elevation. In terms of policy, land reclamation and ecological restoration in mining areas have a positive impact on land use change. Improving the mechanism for environmental compensation in mining areas can promote the efficient and rational use of mining areas and the protection of ecosystems.

Background: Recent studies have found that there are significant associations between body iron status and the development of diabetes. In the present study, we aimed to analyze the association among iron overload (IO), insulin resistance (IR), and diabetes in Chinese adults, and to explore the sex difference., Methods: Men and women (age >19 years) who participated in the Chinese Health and Nutrition Survey and did not have diabetes at baseline were followed between 2009 and 2015 (n=5,779). Over a mean of 6 years, 75 participants were diagnosed with incident diabetes. Logistic regression was used to assess the risk factors associated with IO. Cox proportional hazard regression was used to estimate the risk of incident diabetes and to determine whether the risk differed among subgroups. Causal mediation analysis (CMA) was used to explore the mechanism linking IO and diabetes., Results: According to sex-stratified multivariable-adjusted Cox proportional hazards regression, IO increased the risk of incident diabetes. Women with IO had a higher risk of diabetes than men. Subgroup analysis with respect to age showed that the association between IO and diabetes was stronger in older women and younger men (P<0.001). CMA showed that liver injury (alanine transaminase) and lipid metabolism abnormalities (triglyceride, apolipoprotein B) contributed to the association between IO and diabetes., Conclusion: IO is associated with diabetes and this association is sex-specific. IO may indirectly induce IR via liver injury and lipid metabolism abnormalities, resulting in diabetes.

The measurement of medical service accessibility is typically based on driving or Euclidean distance. However, in most non-emergency cases, public transport is the travel mode used by the public to access medical services. Yet, there has been little evaluation of the public transport system-based inequality of medical service accessibility. This work uses massive real smart card data (SCD) and an improved potential model to estimate the public transport-based medical service accessibility in Beijing, China. These real SCD data are used to calculate travel costs in terms of time and distance, and medical service accessibility is estimated using an improved potential model. The spatiotemporal variations and patterns of medical service accessibility are explored, and the results show that it is unevenly spatiotemporally distributed across the study area. For example, medical service accessibility in urban areas is higher than that in suburban areas, accessibility during peak periods is higher than that during off-peak periods, and accessibility on weekends is generally higher than that on weekdays. To explore the association of medical service accessibility with socio-economic factors, the relationship between accessibility and house price is investigated via a spatial econometric analysis. The results show that, at a global level, house price is positively correlated with medical service accessibility. In particular, the medical service accessibility of a higher-priced spatial housing unit is lower than that of its neighboring spatial units, owing to the positive spatial spillover effect of house price. This work sheds new light on the inequality of medical service accessibility from the perspective of public transport, which may benefit urban policymakers and planners.

Habitat quality is an important index to evaluate regional ecological security. Revealing its spatial and temporal responses to urbanization is conducive to the in-depth implementation of new urbanization. Based on land use data, we analyzed the spatio-temporal characteristics of Changchun's landscape pattern, habitat quality and its sample zone from the grid scale with comprehensive utilization of spatial analysis and ecological model analysis. We further discussed the responses of habitat quality during urbanization. The results showed that the low values of patch density (PD), edge density (ED) and Shannon diversity index (SHDI) were distributed in the western plains, while the high aggregation index (AI) showed a patchy distribution in eastern and southern of the city. During 2000-2015, the habitat quality of Changchun showed a trend of degradation and significant spatial heterogeneity, showing a distribution of "high in the east, and low in the west". The expansion of construction land and the transportation infrastructure played a leading role in the degradation of regional habitat quality. The changes of habitat quality differed significantly in different zones. The overall variation of water belt was relatively small, while the variation frequency and amplitude of mountain, urban expansion, and traffic belt were relatively high. Natural factors including slope and elevation basically shaped the overall distribution pattern of habitat quality in Changchun, while urbanization factors including population density, GDP and night light index showed significant negative correlation with habitat quality. To alleviate the ecological pressure of urbanization and promote habitat quality, we proposed differentiated development strategies, such as preventing deforestation in the Dahei Mountains, using ecological strategies to restore habitat degradation areas, improving land use efficiency in built-up urban areas, promoting "smart growth" in urban areas, setting red line of farmland in hilly areas, and strengthening ecological infrastructure construction.

Objectives: To determine inter-lab reliability in sleep stage scoring using the 2014 American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) manual. To understand in-depth reasons for disagreement and provide suggestions for improvement., Methods: This study consisted of 40 all-night polysomnographys (PSGs) from different samples. PSGs were segmented into 37,642 30-s epochs. Five doctors from China and two doctors from America scored the epochs following the 2014 AASM standard. Scoring disagreement between two centers was evaluated using Cohen's kappa (κ). After visual inspection of PSGs of deviating scorings, potential disagreement reasons were analyzed., Results: Inter-lab reliability yielded a substantial degree (κ = 0.75 ± 0.01). Scoring for stage W (κ = 0.89) and R (κ = 0.87) achieved the highest agreement, while stage N1 (κ = 0.45) reflected the lowest. Considering the relative disagreement ratio, N2-N3 (22.09%), W-N1 (19.68%), and N1-N2 (18.75%) were the most frequent combinations of discrepancy. American and Chinese doctors showed certain characteristics in the scoring of discrepancy combination W-N1, N1-N2, and N2-N3. There are seven reasons for disagreement, namely "on-threshold characteristic" (29.21%), "context influence" (18.06%), "characteristic identification difficulty" (8.81%), "arousal-wake confusion" (7.57%), "derivation inconsistence" (2.15%), "on-borderline characteristic" (0.92%), and "misrecognition" (33.27%)., Conclusions: This study demonstrated the sleep stage scoring agreement of the 2014 AASM manual and explored potential sources of labeling ambiguity. Improvement measures were suggested accordingly to help remove ambiguity for scorers and improve scoring reliability at the international level.

Introduction: Arpin (Arp2/3 complex inhibitor), a novel protein found in 2013, plays a pivotal role in cell motility and migration. However, the prognostic value of Arpin in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains unknown., Materials and Methods: We analyzed the gene expression of ARPIN using the GEO dataset (GSE71989) and validated the results by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western blot in our clinical database. Tissue microarray specimens from 214 patients who underwent curative pancreatectomy for PDAC were used. The tumors that expressed high and low levels of Arpin were compared with patient outcome using Kaplan-Meier curves and the multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression model. IHC was then used in 43 paired primary tumor tissues and metastasis tissues to detect the expression of Arpin., Results: Arpin had low expression in the tumor tissue compared with the paracancerous tissue in PDAC. Patients with low intratumoral Arpin expression had worse overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) than patients with high expression in the training set (p < 0.001, p < 0.001) and validation set (p < 0.001, p < 0.001). The multivariate analysis revealed that the 8th edition TNM stage and Arpin expression were independent prognostic factors associated with OS and RFS in the training and validation sets, respectively. Background: In Taiwan, DNA-based newborn screening showed a surprisingly high incidence of a cardiac Fabry mutation (IVS4 + 919G > A). The prevalence of this mutation is too high to be believed that it is a real pathogenic mutation. The purpose of this study is to identify the cardiac pathologic characteristics in patients with left ventricular hypertrophy and this mutation, Methods and Results: Endomyocardial biopsies were obtained in 22 patients (Median age: 61, males: 17; females: 5) with left ventricular hypertrophy and the IVS4 + 919G > A mutation; five patients had not received enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) before biopsy, while the other 17 patients had received ERT from 8 months to 51 months. Except for three patients who had received ERT for more than 3 years, all other patients showed significant pathological change and globotriaosylceramide (Gb3) accumulation in their cardiomyocytes. In contrast to classical Fabry patients, no Gb3 accumulation was found in the capillary endothelial cells of any of our patients. Fourteen patients (63.6%) were found to have myofibrillolysis., Conclusions: All of the untreated and most of the treated IVS4 + 919G > A patients showed typical pathological changes of Fabry disease in their cardiomyocytes. No endothelial accumulation of Gb3 was found, which is similar to the findings of several previous reports regarding later-onset Fabry disease. This result highly suggests that the IVS4 + 919G > A is a real pathogenic later-onset Fabry mutation.

Objective: To determine the distributions of major pathogenic capsular types and in vitro antimicrobial susceptibility of different serotypes of Streptococcus suis isolated from clinically healthy sows in China., Methods: Tonsil specimens of clinically healthy sows from 10 different provinces in China were collected, a total of 421 S. suis were isolated. Capsular types of S. suis were decided using the sera agglutination reaction. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed using a broth microdilution method and the differences between serotypes were decided statistically., Results: The prevalent capsular types of S. suis isolated from clinically healthy sows were 9 (26.6%), 3 (23.5%) and 7 (15.7%) types, respectively. 7.4% of isolates were confirmed to be S. suis type 2. Overall, differences in antimicrobial susceptibility among serotypes of S. suis were found. By comparison, lower resistance was observed for S. suis type 2 from clinically healthy sows., Conclusion: The prevalence of pathogenic S. suis serotypes from clinically healthy sows again indicates S. suis is a conditional pathogenic bacterium. Differential prevention and treatment regimes should be considered according to antimicrobial susceptibility of different serotypes of S. suis.

Inhalation of nitric oxide (NO) improved arterial oxygenation and enabled the reduction of inspired oxygen therapy and airway pressure support in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). In addition, chest radiography showed decreased spread or density of lung infiltrates, and the physiological effects remained after termination of inhaled NO therapy. These findings suggest not only a pulmonary vasodilator effect of inhaled NO, but also an effect on SARS.
