In a strong competitive environment, differentiation from other manufacturers is essential to ensure the flow of sales and the increase of turnover. Advertising can differentiate the offer of the economic organization from similar products obtained by competitors. The objective of the paper is to identify the effects of advertising on the purchasing behavior of dairy products, based on the data obtained from a questionnaire conducted on a sample of 206 respondents. The research question is: what are the effects of advertising on dairy buying behavior? In order to achieve this objective, the answers of the analysis carried out are analyzed. The results of the research show that advertising has a significant impact on dairy buying behavior. Effective advertising campaigns increase the notoriety and attractiveness of dairy products, contributing to consumer loyalty. In general, consumers are more likely to choose intensively promoted dairy products, demonstrating the importance of advertising in the marketing strategy of producers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The objective of this research is to help reconcile the mixed findings on the effect of vape advertising campaigns on consumers' vaping tendency. In a meta-analysis of 43 papers (140 studies, with 77,452 observations; 33% women, 67% men; Mage = 30.5 years), this research shows that in situations where perceived risk is less salient (e.g., social media vs. traditional advertising, ads using picture-dominant vs. text-dominant cues, adolescents vs. adults, nonsmokers vs. smokers), the positive effect of vape advertising campaigns on consumers' vaping tendency is stronger. In addition, this research provides evidence that vape advertising campaigns reduce, rather than increase, smokers' tendency to quit smoking, which is contradictory to the claims made by vaping product manufacturers. The authors discuss the theoretical contributions of those findings and provide specific tools that policy makers can use to combat the influence of vape advertising campaigns. As the whole world is more and more concerned with aspects regarding the protection of the environment, many companies, including those in the textile field, adopt an environment-friendly attitude in their marketing and advertising policies. This attitude is noticeable through the use, in advertising campaigns, of expressions like: “sustainability”, “eco products”, “green products”. However, these statements are not always true. Greenwashing involves creating a false impression or generating misleading information about a company’s products as being environmentally sound. From another perspective, greenwashing can materialize in the form of attempts of a certain company to emphasize the sustainable aspects of the products, in order to overshadow its involvement in environmentally damaging practices. Due to these facts, it is extremely important for the European Union to take measures to combat this phenomenon, by adopting the Greenwashing Directive. The aim of this paper is to present the essential aspects of greenwashing and how it seriously affects the environment, in strong connection with the human rights. Moreover, some details regarding the future Greenwashing Directive will be presented, along with those regarding the Green Claims Directive, made in order to protect consumers from misleading marketing practices or advertising and help them make better purchasing choices. • Between 30–56 % of Australians view cyclists as less than 100 % fully human. • Posters using graphic design were more clear and memorable, but. • Posters showing cyclists in photos were more humanising than posters using graphics. • Campaigns portraying cyclists should take care in the design and portrayal of people on bikes. Although riding a bicycle is an efficient, healthy and sustainable mode of travel, in low-cycling countries there continues to be negative attitudes, harassment and aggression toward riders. Recent studies have found that part of this hostility could be due to dehumanization – the belief that cyclists are lesser humans. These beliefs are relatively common, yet we don't yet know how we could reduce or counteract dehumanizing beliefs. In this paper we hypothesize that a 'humanizing' ad campaign may improve attitudes and reduce dehumanization relative to 'non-humanizing' campaigns. Using a survey of cyclists and non-cyclists in the Australian Capital Territory, in this study we developed four version of a static campaign poster, portraying cyclists either from in front (humanizing) or behind (non-humanizing), as a photo (humanizing) or graphic design (non-humanizing). We found that posters using photographs were more humanizing than graphic design, but design had no effect on attitudes. However, photographic posters were seen as less clear, memorable and effective than graphic posters. Showing cyclists from the front vs. the back had no significant effect on dehumanization, attitudes or effectiveness. This study suggests that if the aim of a campaign is to humanize cyclists, that photographic images may help with this effort. Given the high baseline rates of dehumanizing beliefs among the population, it would be counter-productive if safety campaigns failed to humanize this group. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study sought to identify principles to guide the development and implementation of initiatives that aim to prevent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) offending. It did so through a review of research on the implementation and effectiveness of initiatives that aim to prevent CSAM offending, and through input from an international expert advisory group. Seven principles are described in this paper: the use of advertising campaigns; confidentiality and anonymity; an empathetic and non-judgemental approach; accessibility; training and support; tailored programs; and evaluation. This research provides an experimental analysis and comparison of several RTB (real-time bidding) methods. These experiments are based on practical validation through the utilization of real-world datasets, with the primary attention being placed on the dynamic and complex nature of the RTB ecosystem. Simulations are run on various real-world advertising campaigns as part of the experimentation. These simulations take into account different campaign budgets, bid request dynamics, and user interaction pattern variations. The efficiency of each algorithm is evaluated based on performance indicators such as click-through rates (CTRs), conversion rates (CR), return on investment (ROI), win rates, cost per mille (CPM), and effective cost per click (E-CPC). The results provide useful insights into the advantages and disadvantages of each technique used, and the experimental analysis indicates the Constrained Markov Decision Process (CMDP)-based model as a promising and superior technique for RTB optimization. It provides valuable information on applications of reinforcement learning in the dynamic RTB ecosystem. Changing demographics in rural states have been on the forefront of policymakers' minds. Trends such as high median age, low birth rates, and pronounced youth outmigration compound larger challenges of workforce and community development. Many rural states are promoting recreational and natural amenities as an attraction, hoping to lure established adult newcomers or returnees to resettle. However, it is unclear precisely how rural stakeholders perceive recreation to be an effective tool in attracting and retaining youth and young adults, beyond official branding strategies and campaigns. This study sought to identify macrosystem-level messaging circulating in stories told by stakeholders in education, workforce, and quality of life domains about how recreation relates to youth future orientation and decision making. Thirty-two data collection events (interviews or focus groups) with leaders in the policymaking, state administration, and youth-serving program areas in New Hampshire (NH) were conducted in 2020-2021. Themes were achieved using a story-based methodological approach guided by a master narrative conceptual framework, which states that macrosystem-level messaging impacts individual agency and decision-making. Four themes surrounding recreation emerged: 1) recreational opportunities are storied as less impactful on youth future orientation than educational and employment opportunities; 2) statewide branding focusing on outdoor recreational amenities and experiences may not be accessible or appealing to youth; 3) youth lack meaningful community engagement and leadership opportunities, resulting in low youth voice in community development initiatives; and 4) there is an assumption that youth will ultimately leave rural areas for educational, employment, and recreational opportunities elsewhere and return later as established adults. We make recommendations for recreation providers and stakeholders, including: 1) growing youth community attachment through recreation spaces and places in rural areas, 2) providing more inclusive forms of youth-focused state and community branding, 3) advocating for youth-focused recreation and civic engagement policy/programming, and 4) developing messaging resisting narratives insinuating recreation is unimportant in youth decision making and future orientation. This research examines the impact of e-marketing on consumers' preference to purchase hybrid cars, through the conduction of a field study on the hybrid car users in the Northern Border Region in Saudi Arabia. The research aims to comprehend the relationship between e-marketing campaigns and increasing consumer awareness of the benefits of hybrid cars, and how their decisions are affected by this awareness when purchasing cars. The research aims to shed light on the role of e-marketing in encouraging the use of hybrid cars and identifying the factors influencing consumers' decisions in this context. The research aims to identify factors influencing users' responses to such information, including advertising campaigns, environmental attitudes, future orientations, and governmental incentives. A survey was conducted to a total of 385 hybrid car users and data analysis relied on structural equation modeling deploying the Amos software. The results indicate the existence of a relationship and impact between e-marketing campaigns and user awareness, leading to an increased preference for hybrid cars. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Despite little evidence of efficacy, public information campaigns have been a popular strategy for deterring migration. Advertising campaigns to dissuade would-be migrants from leaving home or seeking asylum are increasingly prevalent around the world, and Australia has devoted millions of dollars to these campaigns. Perhaps the most famous is the campaign launched in 2014, with the message: "No Way. You will not make Australia home." In this article, I develop the concept of enforcement infrastructure to illustrate the relationships, technologies, actors, and policies that together facilitate enforcement of Australia's borders and produce campaigns such as the "No Way" campaign. Just as infrastructure facilitates the production of value in other contexts, so too does the creation of enforcement infrastructure produce different types of value in the context of enforcement. Mapping the enforcement infrastructure highlights the different types of value produced by this constellation of actors, from profitable market research to reinforcing colonial logics of exclusion. Community supported agriculture (CSA) has grown in recent years as a marketing and distribution option for farmers. CSA involves 'shareholders' subscribing to a regular share of a farm's harvest. The experiential structure of CSA provides opportunities for farmers to develop relationships with consumers and strengthen their local food systems (LFSs). By bringing consumer perspectives into view, LFS development personnel and other stakeholders may better understand where their residents place value within their unique systems. In this manuscript, we focus on the place of CSA in LFSs. Using survey responses from 13 communities in the Southeastern United States, we ask how different aspects of LFSs are perceptually linked to CSA by consumers. From these responses, residents seem to be more aware of CSA if they have knowledge about other direct markets -- such as farmers markets or specialty retail stores -- or are exposed to local food campaigns and branding efforts. Similarly, residents more positively evaluate CSA performance if they have similar evaluations of direct markets and experience with on-farm activities. These patterns differ depending on the location of the respondent. We see a role for place-based LFS promotion activities and consumer education programmes in most communities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
