- Abstract
Faced with rapid changes in the external environment, the operation of physical bookstores is facing crises. Metaverse is the product of virtual reality integration and it provides a new idea for the transformation and upgrading of bookstores. Based on the analysis of the current situation of bookstore operation, this paper proposes to build the new scenario, a Metaverse bookstore, from the perspective theory of media scene. The concept of establishing a Metaverse bookstore in this paper explores the dynamics between individuals, individuals and their surroundings, as well as individuals and objects. The Metaverse bookstore is in line with the trend of people's experience consumption and visual consumption. The immersive reading experience brought by Metaverse technology enables the bookstore to transcend time and space boundaries and meet the needs of users for personalized reading scenes. In the final part of the paper, the development strategy is proposed to provide a reference for future application research on Metaverse Bookstore. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
