In this proposed paper, multicarrier sinusoidal pulse width modulation (M-SPWM) method is implemented for design of 15 level reduced switches inverter topology. This inverter topology generates 15 level output-voltage with suitablelswitching pulse production using M-SPWM and altered level of voltages are attained with distinction of modulationlindex. The split inductor is used to diminish the harmoniclcontent and flatted output current. This type of system which contains different range of different range of voltage supplies. As a result, this inverter reduces the difficulty in gating time calculation and there is no neutral point fluctuation issue. This paper illuminates the modes of switching and minimization of stress in voltage and harmonic diminution are examined. This paper proposes a sophisticated embedded processor system configured on zynq-xc7z020 field programmable gate array (FPGA) device for generating four channels pulse width modulation signals with variable duty cycles and periods using embedded design techniques. The main advantages of the technique are the high ability to perform a simultaneous control on period and pulse width of the generated signals and a high system design adaptation to choose the number of input/output channels. Controlling the the period and the pulse width is achieved by injecting a digital signal to the designed system to manipulate embedded timers' operation. Vivado design suite is used to develop the system hard ware in the integrated development environment where the processing unit and peripherals are instantiated and interconnected. A practical aplication program in C language is prepared to make the system act according to the target. The designed system can be used to drive multi-phase D.C to D.C convertors. The system performance is verified by using vivado logic analyzer and chipscope windows. The superiority of the proposed approach over other approaches is that it resulted in a multi-inputs/multi-outputs pulse width modulation system with high controllability on the pulse width and the period that ranges from 15 nsec to 60 sec. Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is a special type of synchronous electric motor that has many applications such as in the manufacturing industry of robots, self-propelled mechanisms, in the medical fiel. In this paper, the permanent magnet synchronous motor motor control structure according to the field-oriented control (FOC) algorithm will be implemented on the field-programmable gate array (FPGA) card. Function blocks in FOC algorithm for example PI controller, space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm will be integrated into individual itegrated circuit (Ics) then will be connected to form an IC with the function of implementing FOC algorithm. Furthermore, this algorithm will be used for powertrains using gallium nitride (GaN). GaN technology provides switching frequencies up to 100 kHz instead of the upper 2 to 20 kHz like insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) transistors. With GaN technology, it is possible to reduce switching losses as well as increase the efficiency of the power converter. Two-level inverter control with type-1 and type-2 fuzzy logic-based space vector pulse-width modulation (PWM) method for induction motor drive (IMD) is presented in this paper. A new sampling time independent strategy with type-1 and type-2 fuzzy based methods are used in generating three phase duty ratios which are directly obtained without mathematical equations. The conventional method of space vector modulation (SVM) produces the duty ratios for the inverter which are sampling time dependent. However, in type-1 and type-2 fuzzy based space vector PWM algorithms, the three phases duty ratios generated are sampling time independent and with a new integrated dead-time insertion in SVM itself, can be implemented practically for any switching frequency. As the rule-base for Mamdani non-singleton interval type-1 and type-2 fuzzy inference systems are designed manually, with the expert knowledge of conventional space vector PWM, the duty ratios of the inverter are generated such that the performance of the IMD is improved. The simulation studies for aforementioned cases is performed in matrix laboratory (MATLAB) and experimental validation for the proposed space vector PWM algorithms is validated using real-time sacraetheologiae magister (STM) hardware with STM32F429I Cortex M4 processor for a 1 hp IMD. This paper elucidates simulation of single phase 3-level z-source neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter with PV system. single phase NPC inverter employed due to its advantages like less voltage stress, reduced harmonic content, minimsed CMV and voltage stress is low. Z-source network is engaged to boost input voltage getting from the photovoltaic system, which is manoeuvre in shoot through and nonshoot through conditions. Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) is emerging actuator for micro and nano application, on the other hand the developing controller in such area needs much further considerations.This paper is to present the evaluation of close-loop controller responses of the TiNi SMA spring based gripper by introduced lag, lead and lag-lead compensator. A SMA spring has a diameter of 50 mm wire and 350 gram hanging mass. Driving the SMA actuator is used pulse width modulation (PWM) signal and responses tested by varying frequencies and duty-cycles. The implemented frequencies in this study are 12, 25, 125, 250 and 1150 Hz. Lab-View and DAQ-Card is used as a controller, interfacer and data recorder of the system. The gripper fabricated consists of two fingers and the total angular displacement of the gripper is 300. The experimental result of the SMA open-loop response are presented and discussed. For advanced application, the closeloop controller is implemented and studied. The close-loop controllers employed are lag, lead and lag-lead compensator. The SMA response indicated that the rise-time and the steady-state error of the cloop-loop are shorter and lower than open-loop controller. This paper introduces a new method to track the saturation saliency for position measurement of a five-phase PMSM motor fed by a five-phase inverter through measuring the dynamic current response of the motor line currents due to the IGBT switching actions. The new method uses only the fundamental PWM waveform obtained using the multi-phase space vector pulse width modulation (i.e there is no modification to the operation of the five-phase inverter) similar to the fundamental PWM method proposed for a three-leg inverter. Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy for saliency tracking of a five-phase PMSM motor driven by five-phase inverter over a wide speed ranges under different load conditions. The paper deals with application of Kalman filter in induction motor drive using pulse-width modulation direct torque control (PWM-DTC). In the first part, the conventional PWM-DTC drive is described and Kalman filter is utilized to filter components of stator current vector those are assumed to be disturbed by white noise. The second part contains simulation results that are obtained in different cases of load torque, process and measurement noise covariances. The integral time absolute error (ITAE) performance index, undershoot, ripple of important quantities are used to compare the conventional drive structure and proposed drive structure with Kalman filter. In this paper two very efficient pulse width modulation techniques were discussed named Sin pulse width modulation and space vector pulse width modulation. The basic structure of the three-level inverter neutral-point clamped is introduced and the basic idea about space vector pulse width modulation for three-level voltage source inverter has been discussed in detail. Nearest three vectors space vector pulse width modulation control algorithm is adopted as the control strategy for the three phase three level NPC inverter in order to compensate the neutral-point shifting. Mathematical formulation for calculating switching sequence has determined. Comparative analysis proving superiority of the space vector pulse width modulation technique over the conventional pulse width modulation, and the results of the simulations of inverter confirm the feasibility and advantage of the space vector pulse width modulation strategy over sin pulse width modulation in terms of good utilization of dc-bus voltage, low current ripple and reduced switching frequency. This paper explains the simulation and modelling of Parallel operation of VSI inverter using multicarrier based PWM technique. By this proposed method three level inverter output voltages generated instead of using multilevel inverter or two level dual VSI inverter. This system employs single dc voltage source, which gives supply to both VSI inverter by using parallel connection. The multi-carrier based pulse width modulation technique affianced to control the inverter power switches. One part of the wireless power transfer system is rectifier, where the energy which received by the receiver conditioned according to the device character. While devices with direct current as a wave form of electrical energy is commonly used. Conventional rectifier was using half wave or full wave circuit where uses diode circuit, capacitor and transformer as filter. The disadvantage of the system is reactive power and harmonization. We proposed the pulse width modulation because PWM could enhanced power factor value on an AC voltage source system with 50 Hz frequency. The main focus on which this study was based was to derive efficiency values from pulse width modulation utilization in the rectification process while the frequency work at 5 MHz and highest power at 54.48 Watt, and compare this reasearch with published research for similar systems. To achieve the objectives of this study then performed design and build system, measurement and analysis of the value of system efficiency. To address the unreliable charging of new charging interfaces caused by comprehending deviation on China's alternating current (AC) charging interface standard for electric vehicles, implementation methods of AC charging interface circuit, control pilot (CP) circuit, and status acquisition circuit for electric vehicles were proposed in this study. Basic principle and functions of the CP circuit were discussed, and influences of resistance parameters on voltage state at test point were analyzed. Freescale MC9S12XEQ512 was used as the main controller, and its integrated pulse-width modulation module and analog-to-digital converter module were used to simplify circuit designs. An experimental test on charging interface connection confirmation, CP, output power parameter passing, and real-time charging connection status acquisition was conducted on real vehicles. Results demonstrated that the designed circuits exhibit high security and meet the basic requirements of GB/T20234-2 with regard to AC charging interface characteristics. All test data are within the allowed error range. Furthermore, real-time monitoring of the charging process and security isolation design of signals can effectively improve the system stability.
