Many people in the recent days have suffering from number of diseases due to unsafe and impure drinking water, especially in rural areas. As typical laboratory experiments and official water quality tests take considerable amount of time to obtain results and due to non availability of a simple device that can measure such water quality parameters in real time, therefore in this paper a remote pH level monitoring system for Baghdad drinking water system is proposed. A PH level sensing and monitoring nodes are distributed at different location. These nodes are proactively measured pH level of water and send data to the maintenance center to give them overall picture about pH level via global position system (GSM). This proposed system gives a robust, low-cost and effective method for the drinking water maintenance center to measure and monitoring the water quality in real time environment. Primary challenges are the identification, segmentation, and extraction of the afflicted area from the scanning of magnetic resonance. However, it is a time-consuming and tiresome for clinical specialists. In this paper, an automated brain tumor system is proposed. The proposed system employs hybrid image processing techniques such as contrast correction, histogram normalization, thresholding techniques, arithmetic, and morphological operations to quarantine nearby organs and other tissue from the brain for improving the localization of the affected region. At first, the skull stripping process is proposed to segregate the non-designated regions to extract the designated brain regions. Those resultant brain region images are further subjected to discover the brain tumor. The planned scheme is studied on the magnetic resonance (MR) images with the use of T1, T2, T1c, and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR). The proposed hybrid method employed. The results reveal that the proposed method is quite efficient to extract the tumor region. The accuracy rate for segmentation and separation of area of interest in brain tumor reached to 95%. Finally, the significance of the proposed procedure is confirmed using the real image clinical dataset got from ten patients were diagnosed as begin, malignant, and metastatic brain tumors in Al-Yarmouk and Baghdad teaching hospital in Baghdad, Iraq. This paper proposes the principles of how to design UMTS coverage area for Baghdad city the capital of Iraq country as a case study that occupy area about 204.2 km², by using one of the new technology for providing two wireless bands which are narrowband and broadband communication services as well as for broadcasting services issues with either airships or airplanes techniques which is named HAPs, Viewed from its altitude, HAPs floats within the stratosphere layer in the airspace, positioned between satellite and terrestrial platforms. This study also cosidered the affect of interference with the available broadband technology. It will start with brief introduction for HAPS with its advantages, comparison between HAPS system and other services and specify requirements for design. Such as, enumerate and find the center of coverage area to calculate the coordinates. Then, design the coverage area for the city, and find the radius, elevation angle, and the position of earth stations which will connect HAPS with other networks and all other services location depending on latitude and longitude, finally the reduction of interference technique. Cellular CDMA systems are usually affected by interference experienced by users in adjacent cells that decrease the Quality of Services in wireless communication network. Hence, interference is the limiting factor of capacity in CDMA cellular and it is one of the problems fighting against the high efficiency of any mobile network. In this paper, a mathematical model to estimate the average number of users contributing in inter-cell interference at the busy hours of CDMA network is proposed. As the power exponent value has significant affect on interferer signal attenuation and hence other-cells interference, measurements were carried through a drive test to determine the received power level at various distance from CDMA base stations at Baghdad. The results obtained show that the power exponent was 2.71. This value was applied in dual-slop path loss model to determine the expected interference factor, and the number of users that can be hold at each cell. Simulations showed that users at a boundary cell generate more interference than those close to the base station. Furthermore, it was denoted that greater number of users caused to increase the interference factor, and greater power exponent value result in interference factor reduction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
