Land registration systems are very essential for property ownership management. The exited land registry systems are less efficient and timeconsuming and expose to human errors. By using blockchain technology, most of the principles of good governance in land administration such as transparency and efficiency can be fulfilled. However, there is a lack of experience in developing blockchain-based land registry systems. This paper proposes a blockchain-based adoption framework for land registry management in Malaysia. It elaborates more on developing a prototype that fulfills the main functions of current land registration by using smart contract functionalities. Also, this paper illustrates the main challenges of adopting this technology such as expertise shortage of software developers, implementation difficulties due to scalability of the land transactions, data sharing with different types of blockchain and lack of security attacks resistance. Application of solar energy in Malaysia has been started in 1998. This country has a large potential of solar energy due to its location at equatorial region. The current energy consumption and demand in Malaysia is describes in this paper. The potential of solar energy in Malaysia is described together with the suitable photovoltaic construction. It also explains the plans conducted by Malaysia involving solar energy that covers investments and also projects involved such as Malaysia Building Integrated Photovoltaic (MBIPV). Simulation of grid-connected photovoltaic system in this study is performed using HOMER software. Finally, the potential of having a grid-connected PV system in a residential area is analyzed. Adaptation of online learning among Malaysian universities during the Covid-19 pandemic stressed the dire need to tackle digital divide. Lack of empirical evidence, generic highlights on accessibility to technologies and lack of focus given on gaps in skills, usage and outcomes obscures the extent of digital divide among Malaysian students. Data was collected from 356 undergraduate students of private and public universities to identify the differences in second and third levels of digital divide, where the former entails divide in terms of digital skills and digital usage, then the latter concerns online learning outcomes between students from both types of Malaysian universities. Descriptive results unveiled the persistence of digital divide in the second and the third level among both public and private university students, with exception of students from public universities showing an advanced grasp of digital skills. Path analysis have also highlighted that having digital skills would encourage digital usage. Although digital usage equips students with resources and support for their learning attainment, at the same it also creates digital distraction, which diverts students from acquiring online learning fulfilment. Dish-Stirling concentrating solar power systems is an efficient and reliable source of renewable energy. In this paper, the proposed model showed the idea of Parabolic Dish (PD) systems with control system model which vary the amount of working gas in the Stirling engine. The control systems were designed using Matlab/Simulink 2012a. Based on the developed linearized model, an improved temperature controller with transient droop characteristic and Mean Pressure Control (MPC) has been proposed. This temperature controller was effective in reducing the temperature and improving performance of the PD system. The overall performance of the system improved more than 78% in output power and energy. Besides, the system improved in term of sensitivity compared with the PD system without compensated. In addition, thermal losses decreased to 97.6% which is directly have significant improvement for the output efficiency to the system. The analysis shows that the PD system is feasible in term of technical but not economically feasible in the Malaysia environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Nowadays, even though many researchers continue to investigate and study about Parabolic Dish based on Concentration Solar Power (CSP), the findings are not conclusive and do not provide accurate evidence and proof on the potential of CSP development in Malaysia. The missing link in the Parabolic Dish (PD) Stirling Engine system modelled is the control systems, which vary the amount of working gas in the Stirling engine. The temperature of the heater in PD system which has been modelled is overheated and causes damage to the heater material, low output efficiency, high thermal losses and effect to the lifespan of the PD system. Therefore, the primary aim of this paper was to design a control system to maximize output efficiency during a normal operation by maintaining the heater/absorber temperature at the highest safe operating point and preventing excessive range of threshold to prevent damage to the heater material. Energy consumption by sector in Malaysia is rising significantly, especially for residential and commercial sectors, and is expected to continue to increase in the upcoming years. The existing power generated from a protonexchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) system may be insufficient to sustain peak load demands during peak periods in stationary residential applications. The presence of an ultra-capacitor (UC) bank would be beneficial as a support as it can supply a large burst of power. The integration of PEMFC and UC has the potential to provide an effective way to supply power demands, has better energy efficiency, and is also economically friendly. In this research, we demonstrate a proposed combined PEMFC and UC bank that operates in parallel. A novel design methodology and dynamic model for both PEMFC and UC systems as energy sources have been developed for stand-alone residential applications. Tropical countries with extensive lightning activity, such as Malaysia, encounter numerous problems on their electrical transmission and distribution systems. Many overhead lines trip because of back flashover of lightning and shielding failures of the grounding system. To overcome the problem and improve transmission line performance, a detailed lightning study is required to analyse the corresponding lines and determine the best location for transmission line arrester (TLA) installation. We used TFlash to analyse a TLA installation on a 132-kV SSWW-BBST overhead transmission line system located in Selangor, Malaysia. In Malaysia, thousands of kilometers of Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) have been installed by a utility company.For long distance fiber cable, there is a possibility of optical fiber to bend with very small radius especially in joint closures which caused optical power to attenuate. This attenuation is known as 'bend losses. Bend lossincreases the total power attenuation of optical fiber. In addition, for long distance fiber cable, it is important to avoid any extra loss as the fiber itself attenuates 0.2 to 0.35 dB/km and splice loss about 0.1 dB each.Hence, in this study, the method of detecting bend loss as well as optical fiber bending is presented.
