Abstract: The article offers information on the several papers discussed at the second international conference on cutaneous lupus erythematosus. Simon Sakaguchi, professor and chairperson at Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences, Kyoto University, Japan presented the keynote on the contributions of T cells for self tolerance and immune homeostasis. The conference featured presentations by several college teachers including those given by Ralf Paus, S.C.Lee and Jan Peter Dutz.
