In this study, we aim to assess dynamical downscaling simulations by utilizing a novel bias-corrected global climate model (GCM) data to drive a regional climate model (RCM) over the Asia-western North Pacific region. Three simulations were conducted with a 25-km grid spacing for the period 1980–2014. The first simulation (WRF_ERA5) was driven by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Reanalysis 5 (ERA5) dataset and served as the validation dataset. The original GCM dataset (MPI-ESM1-2-HR model) was used to drive the second simulation (WRF_GCM), while the third simulation (WRF_GCMbc) was driven by the bias-corrected GCM dataset. The bias-corrected GCM data has an ERA5-based mean and interannual variance and long-term trends derived from the ensemble mean of 18 CMIP6 models. Results demonstrate that the WRFGCMbc significantly reduced the root-mean-square errors (RMSEs) of the climatological mean of downscaled variables, including temperature, precipitation, snow, wind, relative humidity, and planetary boundary layer height by 50%–90% compared to the WRF_GCM. Similarly, the RMSEs of interannual-to-interdecadal variances of downscaled variables were reduced by 30%–60%. Furthermore, the WRFGCMbc better captured the annual cycle of the monsoon circulation and intraseasonal and day-to-day variabilities. The leading empirical orthogonal function (EOF) shows a monopole precipitation mode in the WRFGCM. In contrast, the WRF_GCMbc successfully reproduced the observed tri-pole mode of summer precipitation over eastern China. RAB GTPases (RABs) control intracellular membrane trafficking with high precision. In the present study, we carried out a short hairpin RNA (shRNA) screen focused on a library of 62 RABs during infection with porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus 2 (PRRSV-2), a member of the family Arteriviridae. We found that 13 RABs negatively affect the yield of PRRSV-2 progeny virus, whereas 29 RABs have a positive impact on the yield of PRRSV-2 progeny virus. Further analysis revealed that PRRSV-2 infection transcriptionally regulated RAB18 through RIG-I/MAVS-mediated canonical NF-κB activation. Disrupting RAB18 expression led to the accumulation of lipid droplets (LDs), impaired LDs catabolism, and flawed viral replication and assembly. We also discovered that PRRSV-2 co-opts chaperone-mediated autophagy (CMA) for lipolysis via RAB18, as indicated by the enhanced associations between RAB18 and perlipin 2 (PLIN2), CMA-specific lysosomal associated membrane protein 2A (LAMP2A), and heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 8 (HSPA8/HSC70) during PRRSV-2 infection. Knockdown of HSPA8 and LAMP2A impacted on the yield of PRRSV-2 progeny virus, implying that the virus utilizes RAB18 to promote CMA-mediated lipolysis. Importantly, we determined that the C-terminal domain (CTD) of HSPA8 could bind to the switch II domain of RAB18, and the CTD of PLIN2 was capable of associating with HSPA8, suggesting that HSPA8 facilitates the interaction between RAB18 and PLIN2 in the CMA process. In summary, our findings elucidate how PRRSV-2 hijacks CMA-mediated lipid metabolism through innate immune activation to enhance the yield of progeny virus, offering novel insights for the development of anti-PRRSV-2 treatments. Many forms of childhood glaucoma have been associated with underlying genetic changes, and variants in many genes have been described. Currently, testing is variable as there are no widely accepted guidelines for testing. This systematic review aimed to summarize the literature describing genetic changes and testing practices in childhood glaucoma. This systematic review was conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines and registered with Prospero (ID CRD42023400467). A comprehensive review of Pubmed, Embase, and Cochrane databases was performed from inception through March 2, 2023 using the search terms: (glaucoma) AND (pediatric OR childhood OR congenital OR child OR infant OR infantile) AND (gene OR genetic OR genotype OR locus OR genomic OR mutation OR variant OR test OR screen OR panel). Information was extracted regarding genetic variants including genotype-phenotype correlation. Risk of bias was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. Of 1,916 records screened, 196 studies met inclusion criteria and 53 genes were discussed. Among study populations, mean age±SD at glaucoma diagnosis was 8.94±9.54 years and 50.4% were male. The most common gene discussed was CYP1B1, evaluated in 109 (55.6%) studies. CYP1B1 variants were associated with region and population-specific prevalence ranging from 5% to 86% among those with primary congenital glaucoma. MYOC variants were discussed in 31 (15.8%) studies with prevalence up to 36% among patients with juvenile open angle glaucoma. FOXC1 variants were discussed in 25 (12.8%) studies, which demonstrated phenotypic severity dependent on degree of gene expression and type of mutation. Overall risk of bias was low; the most common domains of bias were selection and comparability. Numerous genes and genetic changes have been associated with childhood glaucoma. Understanding the most common genes as well as potential genotype-phenotype correlation has the potential to improve diagnostic and prognostic outcomes for children with glaucoma. Poly-(ADP-ribose) polymerases (PARPs) are a protein family that make ADP-ribose modifications on target genes and proteins. PARP family members contribute to the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory diseases, including atherosclerosis, in which monocytes/macrophages play important roles. PARP inhibition is protective against atherosclerosis. However, the mechanisms by which PARP inhibition exerts this beneficial effect are not well understood. Here we show that in THP-1 monocytes, inhibition of PARP by olaparib attenuated oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL)-induced protein expressions of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain, leucine-rich repeat and pyrin domain-containing-3 (NLRP3) inflammasome components: NLRP3, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase activation and recruitment domain (ASC), and caspase-1. Consistent with this effect, olaparib decreased oxLDL-enhanced interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-18 protein expression. Olaparib also decreased the oxLDL-mediated increase in mitochondrial reactive oxygen species. Similar to the effects of the NLRP3 inhibitor, MCC950, olaparib attenuated oxLDL-induced adhesion of monocytes to cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells and reduced foam cell formation. Furthermore, olaparib attenuated the oxLDL-mediated activation of nuclear factor (NF)-κB through the oxLDL-mediated increase in IκBα phosphorylation and assembly of NF-κB subunits, demonstrated by co-immunoprecipitation of IκBα with RelA/p50 and RelB/p52 subunits. Moreover, PARP inhibition decreased oxLDL-mediated protein expression of a NF-κB target gene, VCAM1, encoding vascular cell adhesion molecule-1. This finding indicates an important role for NF-κB activity in PARP-mediated activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. Thus, PARP inhibition by olaparib attenuates NF-κB and NLRP3 inflammasome activities, lessening monocyte cell adhesion and macrophage foam cell formation. Simple Summary: The oriental armyworm, Mythimna separata (Walker), is a nocturnal long-distance migratory pest. While searchlight and ground light traps have been widely applied to predict its migration pattern and implement effective pest control measures, the eye structure and adaptation of M. separata have received less attention. The moth possesses a pair of superposition eyes, characterized by a clear zone. The retina of M. separata shows significant adaptational variations under light and dark conditions: the cross-sectional areas of the ommatidial retinulae and rhabdoms, as well as the rhabdom occupation ratio, within the clear zone are significantly larger under dark adaptation than under light adaptation. The opposite trend is observed beneath the clear zone. These findings indicate remarkable plasticity in the retina of M. separata throughout a normal daily cycle, providing valuable information to improve searchlight and ground light trap techniques. In this study, we investigated the ultrastructure of the compound eyes of adult M. separata using transmission electron microscopy and quantitatively evaluated adaptational changes in the retina under light and dark conditions. The compound eyes of M. separata are superposition eyes with a clear zone. The retina shows remarkable anatomical differences under light and dark adaptation, primarily characterized by distinct patterns of rhabdoms within the clear zone: the rhabdoms are nearly absent under light adaptation, but become more voluminous under dark adaptation. Rehmannia chingii is an important medicinal plant with immense value in scientific research. However, its mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) has not yet been characterized. Herein, based on whole-genome Illumina short reads and PacBio HiFi reads, we obtained the complete mitogenome of R. chingii through a de novo assembly strategy. We carried out comparative genomic analyses and found that, in comparison with the plastid genome (plastome) showing a high degree of structural conservation, the R. chingii mitogenome structure is relatively complex, showing an intricate ring structure with 16 connections, owing to five repetitive sequences. The R. chingii mitogenome was 783,161 bp with a GC content of 44.8% and contained 77 genes, comprising 47 protein-coding genes (CDS), 27 tRNA genes, and 3 rRNA genes. We counted 579 RNA editing events in 47 CDS and 12,828 codons in all CDSs of the R. chingii mitogenome. Furthermore, 24 unique sequence transfer fragments were found between the mitogenome and plastome, comprising 8 mitogenome CDS genes and 16 plastome CDS genes, corresponding to 2.39% of the R. chingii mitogenome. Mitogenomes had shorter but more collinear regions, evidenced by a comparison of the organelles of non-parasitic R. chingii, hemiparasitic Pedicularis chinensis, and holoparasitic Aeginetia indica in the Orobanchaceae family. Moreover, from non-parasitic to holoparasitic species, the genome size in the mitogenomes of Orobanchaceae species did not decrease gradually. Instead, the smallest mitogenome was found in the hemiparasitic species P. chinensis, with a size of 225,612 bp. The findings fill the gap in the mitogenome research of the medicinal plant R. chingii, promote the progress of the organelle genome research of the Orobanchaceae family, and provide clues for molecular breeding. Bisphenol A (BPA), an endocrine disruptor widely used in industrial production, is found in various environmental sources. Despite numerous reports on BPA degradation and removal, the details remain unclear. This paper aims to address this gap by providing a comprehensive review of BPA degradation methods, focusing on biological, physical, and chemical treatments and the factors that affect the degradation of BPA. Firstly, the paper uses VOSviewer software (version 1.6.15) to map out the literature on BPA degradation published in the past 20 years, which reveals the trends and research focus in this field. Next, the advantages and limitations of different BPA degradation methods are discussed. Overall, this review highlights the importance of BPA degradation to protect the environment and human health. Background: High-altitude exposure can cause oxidative stress damage in the intestine, which leads to increased intestinal permeability and bacterial translocation, resulting in local and systemic inflammation. Control of infection is critically dependent on the host's ability to kill pathogens with reactive oxygen species (ROS). Myeloperoxidase (MPO) targets ROS in pathogens. This study aimed to investigate the effects of hypoxia on the colonic mucosal barrier and myeloperoxidase (MPO)-mediated innate immune response in the colon. Methods and Results: Genetically engineered mice were exposed to a hypobaric oxygen chamber for 3 days and an inflammation model was established using Salmonella Typhimurium infection. We found that hypoxic exposure caused the development of exacerbated bacterial colitis and enhanced bacterial dissemination in MPO-deficient mice. Infection and disease severity were associated with significantly increased Ly6G+ neutrophil and F4/80+ macrophage counts in infected tissues, which is consistent with elevated proinflammatory cytokines and chemoattractant molecules. Hypoxia restrained antioxidant ability and MPO deficiency aggravated the respiratory burst in the colon. Conclusion: Hypoxia can damage the colonic mucosa. Background: Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles that play important roles in intercellular communication and have potential therapeutic applications in regenerative medicine. Dermal mesenchymal stem cells (DMSCs) are a promising source of exosomes due to their regenerative and immunomodulatory properties. However, the molecular mechanisms regulating exosome secretion from DMSCs are not fully understood. Results: In this study, the role of peroxiredoxin II (Prx II) in regulating exosome secretion from DMSCs and the underlying molecular mechanisms were investigated. It was discovered that depletion of Prx II led to a significant reduction in exosome secretion from DMSCs and an increase in the number of intracellular multivesicular bodies (MVBs), which serve as precursors of exosomes. Mechanistically, Prx II regulates the ISGylation switch that controls MVB degradation and impairs exosome secretion. Specifically, Prx II depletion decreased JNK activity, reduced the expression of the transcription inhibitor Foxo1, and promoted miR-221 expression. Increased miR-221 expression inhibited the STAT signaling pathway, thus downregulating the expression of ISGylation-related genes involved in MVB degradation. Together, these results identify Prx II as a critical regulator of exosome secretion from DMSCs through the ISGylation signaling pathway. Conclusions: Our findings provide important insights into the molecular mechanisms regulating exosome secretion from DMSCs and highlight the critical role of Prx II in controlling the ISGylation switch that regulates DMSC-exosome secretion. Metastatic cancer cells can develop anoikis resistance in the absence of substrate attachment and survive to fight tumors. Anoikis is mediated by endogenous mitochondria-dependent and exogenous death receptor pathways, and studies have shown that caspase-8-dependent external pathways appear to be more important than the activity of the intrinsic pathways. This paper reviews the regulation of anoikis by external pathways mediated by death receptors. Different death receptors bind to different ligands to activate downstream caspases. The possible mechanisms of Fas-associated death domain (FADD) recruitment by Fas and TNF receptor 1 associated-death domain (TRADD) recruitment by tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNFR1), and DR4- and DR5-associated FADD to induce downstream caspase activation and regulate anoikis were reviewed. Ionospheric disturbances are mainly caused by solar and Earth surface activity. The electromagnetic data collected by the CSES (China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite, popularly known as the Zhangheng-1 satellite) can capture many space disturbances. Different spatial disturbances can exhibit distinctive shapes on spectrograms. Constant-frequency electromagnetic disturbances (CFEDs) such as artificially transmitted VLF radio waves, power line harmonics, and satellite platform disturbances can appear as horizontal lines on spectrograms. Therefore, we used computer vision and machine learning techniques to extract the frequency of global CFEDs and analyze their strong spatial signal characteristics. First, we obtained time-frequency spectrograms from CSES VLF electric-field waveform data using Fourier transform. Next, we employed an unsupervised clustering algorithm to automatically recognize CFED horizontal lines on spectrograms, merging horizontal lines from different spectrograms, to obtain the CFED horizontal-line frequency range. In the third stage, we verified the presence of CFEDs in power spectrograms, thus extracting their true frequency values. Finally, for strong CFED signals, we generated eight revisited periods, resulting in 10,230 power spectrograms for analyzing each CFED's spatial characteristics using a combined periodic sequence and spatial region that included frequency offsets, frequency fluctuations, and signal non-observation areas. These findings contribute to enhancing the quality of CSES observational data and provides a theoretical basis for constructing global CFED spatial background fields and earthquake monitoring and early prediction systems. Pulse signals refer to electromagnetic waveforms with short duration and high peak energy in the time domain. Spatial electromagnetic pulse interference signals can be caused by various factors such as lightning, arc discharge, solar disturbances, and electromagnetic disturbances in space. Pulse disturbance signals appear as instantaneous, high-energy vertical-line pulse trains (VLPTs) on the spectrogram. This paper uses computer vision techniques and unsupervised clustering algorithms to process and analyze VLPT on very-low-frequency (VLF) waveform spectrograms collected by the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite (CSES) electric field detector. First, the waveform data are transformed into time–frequency spectrograms with a duration of 8 s using the short-time Fourier transform. Then, the spectrograms are subjected to grayscale transformation, vertical line feature extraction, and binarization preprocessing. In the third step, the preprocessed data are dimensionally reduced and fed into an unsupervised K-means++ clustering model to achieve automatic recognition and labeling of VLPTs. By recognizing and studying VLPT, not only can interference be recognized, but the temporal and spatial locations of these interferences can also be determined. Environmental change is a crucial driver shaping grassland biodiversity and stability. Both environmental change and stability contain multiple dimensions. Nonetheless, few studies examined multiple dimensions of stability in response to environmental change, especially under the combined effects of climatic variability and grazing intensity. Here, we conducted a 7-year field sheep grazing experiment, and we evaluated the impacts of grazing intensity (GI) and climate variability (temperature and precipitation variability) on plant community diversity and productivity and multi-dimensional stability using linear and structural equation models. Our results show that increasing grazing intensity significantly decreased temporal stability but did not affect resistance stability. Compared with the non-grazing (NG) treatment, grazing reduced temporal stability by 35.78%. The decline is primarily attributed to the grazing-induced reduction in evenness and weakening of species asynchrony, which in turn impairs insurance effects. The insignificant change in resistance stability was attributed to a trade-off between reduced interspecific competition and direct negative effects. Furthermore, temperature variability and precipitation variability exacerbate and mitigate the effects of grazing on temporal stability (negative) and resistance stability (positive), respectively. Overall, temporal stability is mainly influenced by temperature variability and GI, while resistance stability is mainly affected by GI. Our findings highlight the importance of considering the dimensions of stability and disturbance. Different dimensions of stability may respond differently to disturbance. Introduction: Difficulty in identifying the functional status of older adults creates an imbalance between the supply and demand for community home-based care. Using a multi-level functional classification system to guide care cost measurement may optimize care resources and meet diverse eldercare demands. Methods: The Markov model was used to project the older population size in different functional decline (FD) statuses. The project cost and the man-hour costing method were combined to forecast the cost of community home-based care for older adults with FD. Results: The projected cost of eldercare increased from 1668.623 billion yuan in 2020 to 2836.754 billion yuan in 2035. By 2035, the total cost for community-based home care for those in pathological development of FD statuses such as "viability disorder," "acute disease," "somatic functional disorder," and "sub-disorder" was projected to be 1094.591 billion, 433.855 billion, 1256.236 billion, and 52.072 billion yuan, respectively, which is 1.24, 1.58, 1.78, and 0.49 times higher than the results by the man-hour costing method. Family caregiving costs are about three times those of professional caregivers. Conclusion: The escalating cost of providing graded care for older adults, particularly by family caregivers, presenting a significant evidence for the need to optimize resource allocation and develop a robust human resources plan for community home-based care. The electromagnetic data observed with the CSES (China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite, also known as Zhangheng-1 satellite) contain numerous spatial disturbances. These disturbances exhibit various shapes on the spectrogram, and constant frequency electromagnetic disturbances (CFEDs), such as artificially transmitted very-low-frequency (VLF) radio waves, power line harmonics, and interference from the satellite platform itself, appear as horizontal lines. To exploit this feature, we proposed an algorithm based on computer vision technology that automatically recognizes these lines on the spectrogram and extracts the frequencies from the CFEDs. First, the VLF waveform data collected with the CSES electric field detector (EFD) are converted into a time–frequency spectrogram using short-time Fourier Transform (STFT). Next, the CFED automatic recognition algorithm is used to identify horizontal lines on the spectrogram. The third step is to determine the line frequency range based on the proportional relationship between the frequency domain of the satellite's VLF and the height of the time–frequency spectrogram. Finally, we used the CSES power spectrogram to confirm the presence of CFEDs in the line frequency range and extract their true frequencies. We statistically analyzed 1034 orbit time–frequency spectrograms and power spectrograms from 8 periods (5 days per period) and identified approximately 200 CFEDs. Among them, two CFEDs with strong signals persisted throughout an entire orbit. This study establishes a foundation for detecting anomalies due to artificial sources, particularly in the study of short-term strong earthquake prediction. Here, the three–dimensional N and S co–doped carbon nanosheets loaded with cobalt sulfide nanoparticles (Co 1-x S@SNFC) for bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysis were synthesized with Co(NO 3) 2 ·6H 2 O as the Co source, lignin as the carbon source, thiourea as the nitrogen/ sulfur source, and MgO as the template. The synergistic effect of multiple active sites gives the Co 1-x S@SNFC fast electrochemical kinetic properties and excellent stability to oxygen reduction reactions (ORR) and oxygen evolution reactions (OER). The half-wave potential and overpotential of Co 1-x S@SNFC were 0.84 mV and 306 mV, respectively, which is closed to commercial noble metal catalysts. In addition, Co 1-x S@SNFC exhibited four–electron transfer characteristics and ultra–low tafel slope. Compared with commercial Pt/C, the Zn–air battery assembled from Co 1-x S@SNFC exhibited a low voltage gap of polarization curve (0.75 V) between charging and discharge and high power density (207 mWcm−2) in alkaline electrolyte. Obesity and overweight are closely related to cardiovascular mortality. Arterial stiffness is one of the important risks for cardiovascular diseases and is strongly related with the cardiovascular mortality. However, the relationship between obesity and arterial stiffness is still controversial. A cross‐sectional study was performed to examine the relationship of body fat percentage (BFP), an indicator of obesity, with carotid‐femoral pulse wave velocity (cfPWV) in 2603 subjects (aged 58.62 ± 11.27 years, male 71.07%, hypertension 64.89%). All participants were divided into four groups according to the gender and the presence of arterial stiffening based on a value ≥10 m/s of cfPWV(group1 : male with cfPWV <10 m/s, group2 : male with cfPWV ≥10 m/s, group3 : female with cfPWV <10 m/s, group4 : female with cfPWV ≥10 m/s). Body weight, height, waist circumference, blood pressure were measured and clinical biochemical tests were recorded. cfPWV was measured using a non‐invasive automatic device (Complior Analysis, France). BFP were calculated by CUN‐BAE equation. The level of cfPWV was significantly increased with the increasing trend of BFP in both males and females. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that SBP, DBP, HR, Hcy, BFP, FPG were independent associated with cfPWV in females and SBP, eGFR, FPG, BFP, DBP were independent associated with cfPWV in males. In the subgroups stratified by age, BFP was correlated with cfPWV only in females over 60 years old, but not in female those aged under 60 years old and males. Since the CSES (China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite) has been in orbit, it has detected a large number of constant-frequency electromagnetic disturbances (CFEDs), which are horizontal lines on the spectrum. In this paper, we present an algorithm for automatic recognition of CFEDs based on computer vision technology. The relevant results are of great significance for analysis of perturbation events and mining of the transformation laws of global space events. First, a grayscale spectrogram is obtained; then, a horizontal convolution kernel is used to enhance the horizontal edge features of the grayscale graph, and finally, black-and-white binarization is performed to complete data preprocessing. The preprocessed data are then fed into an unsupervised cluster model for training and recognition to realize automatic recognition of CFEDs. Introduction: Histologically, endometrial neuroendocrine carcinoma is an extremely rare pathological type of endometrial cancer. In addition, this type is characterized by high invasiveness and poor clinical outcome, which was classified into carcinoid (low grade), and small-cell and large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (high grade). Globally, reports on endometrial carcinoid carcinoma are limited. Clinically, it is also rare to see primary squamous cell carcinoma of endometrium. Case Presentation: Here, we report an interesting case of mixed carcinoma of endometrium with both carcinoid and squamous cell carcinoma, which presented with persistent vaginal bleeding and hyponatremia. Conclusion: Careful pathologic review is necessary to diagnose this rare disease. Acrylamide has been well known for its neurotoxicity, genotoxicity, carcinogenicity, etc. Recently, the immunotoxicity of acrylamide has been reported by different research groups, although the underlying mechanisms of acrylamide endangering immune systems have not been fully elucidated. In this study, mouse monocyte–macrophage cells model was used to clarify the toxic mechanism of acrylamide and the inhibitory effect of Yam polysaccharides (YPS) on acrylamide‐induced damage. We found that acrylamide induced RAW 264.7 cell death in a time‐ and concentration‐dependent manner. After acrylamide (2.0, 3.0, 4.0 mmol/L) treatment for 24 h, cell apoptosis, autophagy, and pyroptosis were observed. However, the levels of autophagy and pyroptosis decreased at a high concentration of acrylamide (4.0 mmol/L). Acrylamide upregulated P2X7 expression, but the P2X7 level was not showing a monotone increasing trend. When the P2X7 antagonist was applied, the effect of acrylamide on autophagy and pyroptosis was weakened. Additionally, acrylamide triggered the occurrence of oxidative stress and a decreased nitric oxide (NO) level. However, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, the decrease of heme oxygenase‐1 (HO‐1) expression, and the increase of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression were reversed by the inhibition of P2X7. Yam polysaccharides (50.0 μg/ml) significantly inhibited acrylamide‐induced oxidative stress and cell death (including apoptosis, autophagy, and pyroptosis). Yam polysaccharides also effectively reversed the increase of iNOS expression induced by acrylamide. However, Yam polysaccharides promoted the expression of P2X7 rather than prohibit it. These results indicated that acrylamide caused RAW 264.7 cell death due to pro‐apoptosis as well as excessive autophagy and pyroptosis. Apoptosis might be more predominant than autophagy and pyroptosis under a higher concentration of acrylamide (4.0 mmol/L). P2X7‐stimulated oxidative stress was responsible for acrylamide‐induced programmed cell death (PCD), but P2X7 showed limited regulatory effect on apoptosis. Yam polysaccharides with antioxidant activity inhibited acrylamide‐induced cell death (apoptosis, autophagy, and pyroptosis), but exerted limited effect on the acrylamide‐induced P2X7 expression. They are provided with anti-Mu¨llerian hormone (AMH) cutoffs for "normal" and "weakened" ovarian responses, which give an early warning of the onset of decreased ovarian response. Methods: This was a retrospective study in women aged 21 to 35 years with MCLs of 21–35 days receiving in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment at Center for Reproductive Medicine from October 2018 to October 2021. Intergroup variables were balanced using propensity score matching based on age and BMI, and each case patient (patients with MCLs of 21–25 days) was matched with three control patients (patients with MCLs of 26–35 days). A receiver operating characteristic curve was used to calculate the AMH cutoff values. Results: We included 135 patients with MCLs of 21–25 days and 405 matched control patients with MCLs of 26–35 days who received IVF treatment. The case group had significantly fewer retrieved oocytes, lower AMH values and higher initial and total Gonadotropin (Gn) levels during controlled ovarian hyperstimulation than the control group. The ovarian response began to decrease when AMH was < 3.5 ng/ml in the case group and < 2.7 ng/ml in the control group. Conclusion: In young women with MCLs of 21–35 days, short MCL was negatively correlated with AMH values and the number of oocytes retrieved. Tea is one of the most popular beverages in the world. The health-promoting effects of tea and its individual constituents, including antiobesity and antihyperlipidaemia effects, have been well accepted. In this study, we evaluated the effects of herbal tea essence (HTE), a commercial product extracted from black tea, on HFD-induced obesity in mice. HTE effectively reduces the gain in body weight and improves glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity after HFD treatment. HTE inhibits lipid accumulation in the body and reduces serum lipid contents. Furthermore, HTE negatively regulates the expression levels of genes that control lipogenesis and gluconeogenesis and upregulates the expression of genes for lipid β oxidation. The regulatory effects of HTE on these genes may occur through activation of the AKT, IRS-1, and AMPK signalling pathways. Background: Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R) injury is a common pathology in ischemia heart disease. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are significant regulators related to many ischemia/reperfusion conditions. This study is aimed at exploring the molecule mechanism of lncRNA-mediated competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network in MI/R.Methods: The dataset profiles of MI/R and normal tissues (GSE130217 and GSE124176) were obtained from the GEO database. Integrated bioinformatics were performed to screen out differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Thereafter, an lncRNA-mediated ceRNA network was constructed by the starBase database. The GO annotations and KEGG pathway analysis were conducted to study action mechanism and related pathways of DEGs in MI/R. A model of hypoxia/reoxygenation- (H/R-) treated HL-1 cell was performed to verify the expression of lncRNAs through qRT-PCR.Results: 2406 differentially expressed- (DE-) mRNAs, 70 DE-lncRNAs, and 156 DE-miRNAs were acquired. These DEGs were conducted to construct an lncRNA-mediated ceRNA network, and a subnetwork including lncRNA Xist/miRNA-133c/mRNA (Slc30a9) was screen out. The functional enrichment analyses revealed that the lncRNAs involved in the ceRNA network might functions in oxidative stress and calcium signaling pathway. The lncRNA Xist expression is reduced under H/R conditions, followed by the increased level of miRNA-133c, thus downregulating the expression of Slc30a9.Conclusion: In sum, the identified ceRNA network which included the lncRNA Xist/miR-133c/Slc30a9 axis might contribute a better understanding to the pathogenesis and development of MI/R injury and offer a novel targeted therapy way. As anticipated, the resultant Cs 3 Mo x Sb y Br 9 /BiVO 4 exhibits an excellent photocatalytic N 2 reduction activity under ambient atmosphere, achieving ammonia (NH 3) production at a rate of 300 ± 5 μmol g−1 h−1 under simulated sunlight illumination (100 mW cm−2), which is nearly 20-fold higher than that of pristine Cs 3 Sb 2 Br 9. Exploring whether informal environmental regulations (INER) can achieve carbon reduction in the context of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, as well as how to achieve carbon reduction, can help solve the dual failures of the market and government in environmental protection. Based on the polycentric governance theory and considering the characteristics of social subject environmental participation, the Stackelberg game is used to demonstrate the impact mechanism of INER on CO 2. In addition, using the panel data of China's 30 provinces from 2003 to 2018, this paper validates the effectiveness of INER by Pooled Ordinary Least Square (POLS) and threshold panel model. Then, the mediating effect model is used to test the mechanism of INER's effect on carbon reduction. The results show that corruption is not conducive to CO 2 reduction. The reduction effect of INER on CO 2 exhibits heterogeneity with changes in other non-greenhouse gas pollutants. While INER effectively reduces local corruption, its more substantial indirect impact on CO 2 reduction is prominent when levels of other pollutants are lower. Comparative analysis reveals that there are still biased governance behaviors to cope with INER's pressure in some regions nowadays. The findings show that for countries facing the dual task of pollution control and carbon reduction, the key to leveraging the supervisory role of INER should be focused on mitigating information asymmetry caused by the characteristics of CO 2. Black phosphorus nanosheets (BPNS), a novel two-dimensional nanomaterial, find extensive applications in the field of photocatalysis. With the prohibition of bisphenol A (BPA), the utilization of bisphenol S (BPS), which is more resistant to degradation than BPA, has been steadily increasing. In this study, few-layer BPNS was prepared using an improved liquid-phase exfoliation method, showcasing its commendable specific surface area and notable adsorption capacity. Subsequently, a new type of nanocomposite material, BPNS-Cadmium sulfide (CdS), was hydrothermal synthesized involving BPNS and CdS. We conducted comparative assessments of BPNS, CdS, and their composite materials to identify the most efficient catalysts. Ultimately, we found that the composite material BPNS-CdS exhibited the highest capability for degrading BPS in an alkaline environment, achieving an impressive degradation rate of 86.9%. Notably, the degradation rate remained higher in an acidic environment compared to a neutral one. Through Electron Spin Resoance (ESR) experiments, it is revealed that BPNS-CdS, when exposed to visible light, generates •O 2 −, •OH, and h+ as confirmed. Additionally, we tested and validated the carrier separation and migration abilities of BPNS-CdS while also calculating the band gap for each material. Building upon these results, a possible photocatalysis mechanism experiment was proposed. Finally, the degradation products were analyzed using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (HPLC-MS) and put forth a plausible pathway for the BPS degradation, and it was found that 4-Phenolsulfonic acid, Ethyl protocatechuate and Isophthalic acid are the main intermediates of BPS. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the synergy between non-metallic catalysts like BPNS and metal catalysts like CdS. It also offers new insights into the degradation mechanisms and pathways for BPS. As a neurodegenerative disease, Alzheimer's disease (AD) seriously affects the health of older people. Changes in synapses occur first over the course of the disease, perhaps even before the formation of Aβ plaques. Histone deacetylase (HDAC) mediates the damage of Aβ oligomers to dendritic spines. Therefore, we examined the relationship between HDAC activity and synaptic defects using an HDAC inhibitor (HDACI), BG45, in the human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cell line with stable overexpression of Swedish mutant APP (APPsw) and in APP/PS1 transgenic mice during this study. The cells were treated with 15 μM BG45 and the APP/PS1 mice were treated with 30 mg/kg BG45. We detected the levels of synapse-related proteins, HDACs, tau phosphorylation, and amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA) receptors using Western blotting and immunohistochemistry. We also measured the expression of cytoskeletal proteins in the cell model. The mRNA levels of the glutamate ion receptor alginate subunit 2 (GRIK2), sodium voltage-gated channel beta subunit (SCN3B), synaptophysin (SYP), Grm2 (the gene encoding glutamate receptor subunit 2 (GluR2)), Grid2IP, glutamate receptor interacting protein 1 (GRIP1), and GRIP2 were detected to explore the effects of the HDACI on regulating the expression of synaptic proteins and AMPA receptors. According to our studies, the expressions of HDAC1, HDAC2, and HDAC3 were increased, which were accompanied by the downregulation of the synapse-related proteins SYP, postsynaptic dendritic protein (PSD-95), and spinophilin as early as 24 h after transfection with the APPsw gene. BG45 upregulated the expression of synapse-related proteins and repaired cytoskeletal damage. In vivo, BG45 alleviated the apoptosis-mediated loss of hippocampal neurons, upregulated synapse-related proteins, reduced Aβ deposition and phosphorylation of tau, and increased the levels of the synapse-related genes GRIK2, SCN3B, SYP, Grm2, and Grid2IP. BG45 increased the expression of the AMPA receptor subunits GluA1, GluA2, and GluA3 on APPsw-transfected cells and increased GRIP1 and GRIP2 expression and AMPA receptor phosphorylation in vivo. Based on these results, HDACs are involved in the early process of synaptic defects in AD models, and BG45 may rescue synaptic damage and the loss of hippocampal neurons by specifically inhibiting HDAC1, HDAC2, and HDAC3, thereby modulating AMPA receptor transduction, increasing synapse-related gene expression, and finally enhancing the function of excitatory synapses. Background: Type 3 fibroids are a special subtype of intramural fibroids that are likely to affect the pregnancy outcomes of assisted reproductive techniques. Hysteroscopic resection is a treatment for type 3 fibroids, but there has few study of its efficacy to date. In this study we evaluated the effect of hysteroscopic resection of type 3 fibroids on the pregnancy outcomes in infertile women.Methods: This retrospective case-control study was conducted from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2021. Patients who underwent IVF-ICSI in our unit were divided into a type 3 fibroid group and a hysteroscopic myomectomy group. The inclusion criteria for the type 3 fibroid group and the hysteroscopic myomectomy group were as follows: 1) age ≤ 40 years; 2) fibroid diameter or total fibroid diameter > 2.0 cm. The following exclusion criteria were used: 1) oocyte donor treatment cycles and 2) presence of chromosomal abnormalities; 3) history of other uterine surgery; 4) presence of intracavitary lesions, including submucosal fibroids; 5) single fibroid > 5.0 cm; 6) cervical fibroids; 7) unclear ultrasound description of fibroids; 8) preimplantation genetic testing was performed and 9) congenital or acquired uterine malformations. The control group in our study was selected from patients who were treated with IVF only because of fallopian tube factors. According to the age of the type 3 fibroid group and hysteroscopic myomectomy group, random sampling was carried out in the patients between 25 and 47 years of age to determine a control group. The outcomes measured included the average transfer times to live birth, cumulative clinical pregnancy rate, and cumulative live birth rate.Results: A total of 302 cycles were enrolled in our study, including 125 cycles with type 3 fibroids, 122 cycles with hysteroscopic myomectomy, and 139 cycles of control patients. The average transfer times to live birth were significantly higher in the type 3 fibroid group than in the other two groups. The frequency of cumulative live births in the type 3 fibroid group was significantly lower than that in the control group. Compared with the control group, the hysteroscopic myomectomy patients had no statistically significant differences in the cumulative clinical pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate.Conclusions: Type 3 fibroids significantly reduced the cumulative live birth rate of IVF patients. A pair of chiral nanocluster complexes were formed by the host−guest interaction between the enantiomeric 2,6-helic[6]arenes and nanocluster Ag20. The formation and stability of the nanocluster complexes were experimentally and theoretically confirmed. Meanwhile, the chiral nanocluster complexes exhibited enhanced luminescence and induced CD signals at room temperature in the solid state, revealing the stable complexation and chirality transfer from the chiral macrocycles to the nanocluster Ag20. Background: Oral chemotherapy is preferred for patients with cancer owing to its multiple advantages, including convenience, better patient compliance, and improved safety. Nevertheless, various physical barriers exist in this route that hamper the development of oral chemotherapeutic formulations, including destruction of drugs in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), low permeability in enterocytes, and short residence time in the intestine. To overcome these limitations, it is necessary to design an efficient oral drug delivery system with high efficacy and improved safety. Results: Herein, we designed novel glycocholic acid (GCA)-functionalized double layer nanoparticles (GCA-NPs), which can act via an endogenous pathway and in a temporally controlled manner in the intestine, to enhance the oral bioavailability of hydrophobic chemotherapeutic drugs such as paclitaxel (PTX). GCA-NPs were composed of quercetin (Qu)-modified liposomes (QL) coated with GCA-chitosan oligosaccharide conjugate (GCOS). The GCA-NPs thus prepared showed prolonged intestinal retention time and good GIT stability due to the presence of chitosan oligosaccharide (COS) and enhanced active transportation via intestinal apical sodium-dependent bile acid transporter (ASBT) due to the presence of GCA. GCA-NPs also efficiently inhibited intestinal P-gp induced by Qu. PTX-loaded GCA-NPs (PTX@GCA-NPs) had a particle size of 84 nm and an entrapment efficiency of 98% with good stability. As a result, the oral bioavailability of PTX was increased 19-fold compared to that of oral Taxol® at the same dose. Oral PTX@GCA-NPs displayed superior antitumor efficacy and better safety than Taxol® when administered intravenously. Conclusions: Our novel drug delivery system showed remarkable efficacy in overcoming multiple limitations and is a promising carrier for oral delivery of multiple drugs, which addresses several challenges in oral delivery in the clinical context. Ionosphere disturbances are mainly caused by solar activities and earth surface activities. Different electromagnetic wave disturbances show different shapes on the spectrogram, such as artificial very low frequency transmitting stations, power systems, and satellite platform disturbances which all show a horizontal shape. Due to the electric field coupling or superposition by other electromagnetic disturbances, the horizontal electromagnetic wave clarity on the spectrogram is reduced, interrupted, or disappears. Aiming at this phenomenon, based on computer vision technology, this paper proposes an automatic detection and recognition algorithm for the space electric field abnormal interference. Firstly, the horizontal electromagnetic wave on the spectrogram is detected, and then the detected window density on the horizontal line is counted. We then record and save the density anomaly windows on multiple horizontal lines at the same time, so as to realize the electric field anomaly disturbance automatic detection. The accuracy of the algorithm for detecting continuous electromagnetic wave disturbance with a wide frequency and time interval is up to 98.2%. Through the space electromagnetic disturbances automatic identification from massive data, combined with space events and multi-dimensional information, such as time, space and orbit, it is helpful to further find out the global space-time transformation laws of space events. Background: Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is used as a biomarker to estimate ovarian reserve. The relationship between AMH and early miscarriage of in vitro fertilization (IVF) is still inconclusive. This study aimed to explore whether serum AMH levels are associated with early miscarriage rates after in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) with fresh embryo transfer (ET).Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 2246 patients undergoing their first oocyte retrievals for IVF/ICSI with fresh embryos transferred to Tianjin Central Hospital of Gynecology Obstetrics between May 2018 and March 2020. The serum AMH levels of the patients were measured within 12 months before the IVF/ICSI cycles. All women were divided into a low-AMH group, medium-AMH group and high-AMH group. Binary logistic regression was applied to confirm whether the serum AMH level was associated with the risk of early miscarriage independent of potential confounders, such as age, body mass index (BMI), duration of infertility, main diagnosis, history of internal medicine diseases, number of oocytes retrieved and high-quality embryo rate.Results: The early miscarriage rate was significantly lower in the medium-AMH group than in either the low-AMH or high-AMH group among young (< 35 years) women (P = 0.015). In women above 35 years of age, the early miscarriage rates in the three AMH groups were not significantly different. Young women with high serum AMH levels had a significantly higher risk of early miscarriage regardless of age or other potential confounders (adjusted odds ratio (OR) 2.382, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.246 to 4.553, P = 0.009). The results remained similar after restricting the analysis to women without polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).Conclusions: With a high AMH level, young women had a higher risk of early miscarriage than women with a medium AMH level in their first IVF/ICSI treatment. In young women, serum AMH levels were independently associated with the risk of early miscarriage after IVF-ET treatment. Central Asia is one of the most important sources of mineral saline dust worldwide. A comprehensive understanding of Central Asian dust transport is essential for evaluating its impacts on human health, ecological safety, weather and climate. This study first puts forward an observation-based climatology of Central Asian dust transport flux by using the 3-D dust detection of Cloud-Aerosol LiDAR with Orthogonal Polarization (CALIOP). The seasonal difference of transport flux and downstream contribution are evaluated and compared with those of the Modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Applications, version 2 (MERRA-2). Central Asian dust can be transported not only southward in summer under the effect of the South Asian summer monsoon, but also eastward in other seasons under the control of the westerly jet. Additionally, the transport of Central Asian dust across the Pamir Plateau to the Tibetan Plateau is also non-negligible, especially during spring (with a transport flux rate of 150 kg m−1 day−1). The annual CALIOP-based downstream contribution of Central Asian dust to South Asian (164.01 Tg) is 2.1 times that to East Asia (78.36 Tg). This can be attributed to the blocking effect of the higher terrain between Central and East Asia. Additionally, the downstream contributions to South and East Asia from MERRA-2 are only 0.36 and 0.84 times that of CALIOP, respectively. This difference implies the overestimation of the wet and dry depositions of the model, especially in the low latitude zone. The quantification of the Central Asian dust transport allows a better understanding of the Central Asian dust cycle, and supports the calibration/validation of aerosol-related modules of regional and global climate models. Background: Medial opening wedge high tibial osteotomy (MOWHTO) changes the knee joint inclination in the coronal plane, which can be compensated by the ankle joint. Once there is a decompensated knee joint obliquity, it can induce excessive shear force on the articular cartilage. This study aimed to investigate the capacity of the compensation by analyzing the correlation of the knee-ankle joint line angle (KAJA) and the knee joint line obliquity (KJLO). Patients and Methods: Ninety-six patients undergoing MOWHTO were included. We measured potential predictors including preoperative or postoperative body mass index (BMI), weight-bearing line (WBL) ratio/correction amount, knee-ankle joint line angle(KAJA), mechanical lateral distal femoral angle (mLDFA), medial proximal tibia angle (MPTA), ankle joint line obliquity (AJLO), mechanical hip-knee-ankle angle (mHKA) and joint line convergence angle (JLCA). The correlations of these predictors and postoperative KJLO were determined using Pearson correlation coefficient. The contribution of significant predictors was further analyzed using multiple linear regression. Finally, the cutoff value of the most contributing factor resulting in decompensated KJLO was derived with receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: Preoperative AJLO, JLCA, MPTA, mHKA and KJLO and postoperative KAJA and MPTA correlated with postoperative KJLO. After multiple linear regression, only preoperative AJLO and JLCA and postoperative KAJA still showed significant contribution to postoperative KJLO. Postoperative KAJA made the greatest contribution. The cutoff value of postoperative KAJA was at 9.6° after ROC analysis. The incidence rate of high-grade KJLO was 69.6% when postoperative KAJA exceeded 9.6°. Conclusions: Postoperative KAJA is a significant contributor to high-grade KJLO after MOWHTO. The incidence was increased at angles greater than 9.6°. The results suggest that KAJA should be carefully assessed during preoperative planning or intraoperative evaluation. In this work, the AlSi10Mg alloys with distinct molten pool structures, namely fish-scale and lamellar, were fabricated by using selective laser melting (SLM) technology. The effects of solid solution temperature on the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of the two types of alloys were systematically investigated. The relationship among initial structure, heat treatment and mechanical properties was revealed. The experimental results showed that for the alloy with fish-scale structure, Si diffused more easily after solid solution treatment due to the finer eutectic network, resulting in a larger Si particle size. At 510 °C, the nano Si particles in the fish-scale sample basically disappeared, but a small amount of nano Si particles still existed in the lamellar sample, leading to a bimodal distribution in the Si particle size. Different sizes and distributions of Si particles present different strengthening mechanisms and affect the nucleation and growth of recrystallized grains in the α-Al matrix, leading to significant differences in mechanical properties. The strength of the lamellar sample decreased with increasing the temperature, and the abnormally growth of grains could be found after being treated at 510 °C, resulting in a poor mechanical property. The strength of fish-scale sample first decreased and then increased with the increase of solid solution temperature. When the alloy with fish-scale structure was solid solution treated at 510 °C, Si particles could promote the nucleation of recrystallized grains but hinder their growth, and the ultimate tensile strength decreased from 478.8 MPa of SLMed state to 393.4 MPa, a reduction of 17.8%, while the elongation increased from 7% to 21%, an increase of 300%, showing an excellent overall mechanical property. • fNIRS signal variability increased from resting state to task, and increased with increasing working memory load in older adults. • Greater fNIRS signal variability generally supported faster and more stable response time in the high-load n-back conditions. • Greater the up-modulation in HbO variability as cognitive load increases, the more its accuracy decreases and the mean response time increases. The extent to which brain responses are less distinctive across varying cognitive loads in older adults is referred to as neural dedifferentiation. Moment-to-moment brain signal variability, an emerging indicator, reveals not only the adaptability of an individual's brain as an inter-individual trait, but also the allocation of neural resources within an individual due to ever-changing task demands, thus shedding novel insight into the process of neural dedifferentiation. However, how the modulation of intra-individual brain signal variability reflects behavioral differences related to cognitively demanding tasks remains unclear. In this study, we employed functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) imaging to capture the variability of brain signals, which was quantified by the standard deviation, during both the resting state and an n-back task (n = 1, 2, 3) in 57 healthy older adults. Using multivariate Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, we found that fNIRS signal variability increased from the resting state to the task and increased with working memory load in older adults. We further confirmed that greater fNIRS signal variability generally supported faster and more stable response time in the 2- and 3-back conditions. However, the intra-individual level analysis showed that the greater the up-modulation in fNIRS signal variability with cognitive loads, the more its accuracy decreases and mean response time increases, suggesting that a greater intra-individual brain signal variability up-modulation may reflect decreased efficiency in neural information processing. Taken together, our findings offer new insights into the nature of brain signal variability, suggesting that inter- and intra-individual brain signal variability may index distinct theoretical constructs. Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) cause environmental pollution and serious health issues. Therefore, magnetic fluorinated porous carbons (M-FPCs) derived from the carbonization and further fluorination of Fe-Zr MOFs were used as novel adsorbents to investigate the possibility of PFC removal from wastewater. Investigation of the adsorption behavior of PFCs on M-FPCs revealed that the isotherms conformed to the Langmuir model and kinetics fit the pseudo-second-order model. Simulations using the Weber–Morris and Boyd diffusion models indicated that the adsorption of PFCs on M-FPCs involved external mass transfer first, followed by intraparticle diffusion, where film diffusion was the primary controlling process. M-FPCs with maximum adsorption ranging from 518.1 to 919.3 mg g− 1 for studied PFCs were adopted to remove PFCs from simulated wastewaters of textile mill and leather factory. Up to 98.1–100.0% of PFCs were removed within 15 min, and the residual levels of PFCs reached drinking water standards after treatment, which suggests the promising application of M-FPCs in the removal of PFCs from wastewater. Accurate and reliable load forecasting can ensure the safety and economy of power system operation. To improve the accuracy of short-term power load forecasting, this paper adopts feature extraction combined with a variety of machine learning methods,(Empirical wavelet decomposition (EWT), Convolutional neural network (CNN) model, Recurrent neural network (RNN) model, Long short-term memory network (LSTM) model, Bayesian optimization (BOA) algorithm). A new hybrid forecasting model, the EWT-CNN-S-RNN + LSTM model is proposed to predict power consumption. In this method, the fixed mode of EWT decomposition is used to extract statistical features, and the LSTM/RNN model is selected according to the statistical features. This method uses the Bayesian optimization (BOA) algorithm to optimize the parameters to solve the model gradient explosion problem. Based on the electricity consumption data of 2007 (Australian Energy Market Operator) and a total of 336 power load data, a good load forecasting result is obtained, which can provide indirect support for power regulation and sustainable development of electricity. In neural tissue engineering, biomaterial scaffolds that have high conductivity and customized structures are crucial in promoting nerve regeneration. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) has emerged as a promising conductive polymer with excellent chemical stability and biocompatibility. However, traditional three-dimensional (3D) printing of PEDOT-based conductive scaffolds faces challenges in limited printing resolution, poor solubility, and brittleness of conductive materials. Herein, digital light processing (DLP) printing was used to fabricate complex hydrogel structures using gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) and chitosan (CS) while incorporating PEDOT nanoparticles through interfacial polymerization to create conducting pathways within a hydrogel structure. The integration of PEDOT significantly enhanced the electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of the GelMA/CS hydrogel while preserving printed details. The GelMA/CS-PEDOT hydrogel promoted cell proliferation and facilitated axon outgrowth of PC12 cells and Schwann cells during in vitro culture. Moreover, in vitro direct current electrical stimulation promoted axon elongation of PC12 cells cultured on a conductive substrate. In vivo studies used a conductive nerve conduit to repair a 10-mm rat sciatic nerve defect, validating the efficacy of GelMA/CS-PEDOT scaffold in peripheral nerve injury repair. In this study, we propose a macro–micro hierarchical (MMH) design concept for the preparation of a polyvinylidene fluoride/barium titanate piezoelectric nanogenerator (PENG). Micro porosity is introduced into the macro truss structure through in-situ foaming additive manufacturing. Leveraging the synergistic effects of the micro-porous structure (stress concentration and piezoelectret) and the macro-truss design (strain accumulation), the output capacity, i.e., open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current of the MMH-PENG, is effectively amplified from 16.1 V and 350 nA to 24.5 V and 642 nA, respectively. Upon further integration onto a flexible substrate, the MMH-PENG exhibits compelling features, including substantial flexibility, controllable sensitivity, easy detachability, and reusability, facilitating practical applications as a wearable and self-powered controller. Illustrated by applications in video game and robotic controllers, the MMH-PENG introduces a pioneering concept that enhances output performance through the simultaneous construction of a macro–micro hierarchy, paving the way for potential large-scale utilization of piezoelectric nanogenerators. Background: tRNA-derived fragments (tRFs) have been shown to have critical regulatory roles in cancer biology. However, the contributions of tRFs to colorectal cancer (CRC) remain largely unknown. Methods: tRF3008A (a tRFRNA derived from tRNAVal) was identified by RNA sequencing and validated by quantitative reverse transcription PCR. The role of tRF3008A in CRC progression was assessed both in vitro and in vivo, and its downstream target genes were identified and validated in CRC cells. RNA pull-down with mass spectrometry and AGO-RIP were used to confirm the interaction of tRF3008A and AGO proteins. The clinical implications of tRF3008A were assessed in CRC tissues and blood samples. Results: The expression of tRF3008A was reduced in colorectal cancer, and its reduction was significantly correlated with advanced and metastatic disease in CRC. Patients with low tRF3008A expression showed significantly shorter DFS, and multivariate analysis identified tRF3008A as an independent prognostic biomarker in CRC. Functionally, tRF3008A inhibits the proliferation and migration of CRC in vivo and in vitro by repressing endogenous FOXK1, a positive regulator of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Mechanistically, tRF3008A binds to AGO proteins as a guide to destabilize oncogenic FOXK1 transcript. Replacing methylammonium (MA+), formamidine (FA+), and/or cesium (Cs+) in 3D metal halide perovskites by larger organic cations have built a series of low‐dimensional metal halide perovskites (LDMHPs) in which the inorganic metal halide octahedra arranging in the forms of 2D layers, 1D chains, and 0D points. These LDMHPs exhibit significantly different optoelectronic properties from 3D metal halide perovskites (MHPs) due to their unique quantum confinement effects and large exciton binding energies. In particular, LDMHPs often have excellent broadband luminescence from self‐trapped excitons. Chemical composition, hydrogen bonding, and external factors (temperature and pressure etc.) determine structures and influence photoelectric properties of LDMHPs greatly, and especially it seems that there is no definite regulation to predict the structure and photoelectric properties when a random cation, metal, and halide is chosen to design a LDMHP. Therefore, this review discusses the construction strategies of the recent reported LDMHPs and their application progress in the luminescence field for a better understanding of these factors and a prospect for LDMHPs' development in the future. Background: We assessed whether a postoperative bilateral, ultrasound-guided, posterior transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block could reduce 24 h rescue tramadol requirement compared with placebo in patients undergoing elective laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery. Methods: Patients scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic surgery following the diagnosis of colorectal cancer were included in this study and randomized into Group and Group Control. The patients received a postoperative bilateral, ultrasound-guided, posterior TAP block in either 20 mL of 0.5% ropivacaine (Group TAP) per side or an equivalent volume of normal saline (Group Control). The primary outcome was the cumulative consumption of rescue tramadol within 24 h after the surgery. Secondary endpoints included (1) resting and movement numerical rating scale (NRS) pain scores at 2, 4, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h; (2) incidences of related side effects; (3) time to the first request for rescue tramadol; (4) patient satisfaction regarding postoperative analgesia; (5) time to restoration of intestinal function; (6) time to mobilization; and (7) the length of hospital stay. Results: In total, 92 patients were randomized, and 82 patients completed the analysis. The total rescue tramadol requirement (median [interquartile range]) within the first 24 h was lower in Group TAP (0 [0, 87.5] mg) than in Group Control (100 [100, 200] mg), P < 0.001. The posterior TAP block reduced resting and movement NRS pain scores at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 h after surgery (all P < 0.001) but showed similar scores at 48 h or 72 h. A higher level of satisfaction with postoperative analgesia was observed in Group TAP on day 1 (P = 0.002), which was similar on days 2 (P = 0.702) and 3 (P = 0.551), compared with the Group Control. A few incidences of opioid-related side effects (P < 0.001) and a lower percentage of patients requiring rescue tramadol analgesia within 24 h (P < 0.001) were observed in Group TAP. The time to the first request for rescue analgesia was prolonged, and the time to mobilization and flatus was reduced with a shorter hospital stay in Group TAP as compared with Group Control. Conclusions: A postoperative bilateral, ultrasound-guided, posterior TAP block resulted in better pain management and a faster recovery in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, without adverse effects. γδT cells are a mixture of innate programming and acquired adaptability that bridge the adaptive and innate immune systems. γδT cells are mainly classified as tissue-resident Vδ1 or circulating Vδ2 γδT cells. In the tumor microenvironment, tumor immunity is influenced by the increased quantity and phenotype plasticity of γδT cells. Commensal bacteria are ubiquitous in the human body, and they have been confirmed to exist in various tumor tissues. With the participation of commensal bacteria, γδT cells maintain homeostasis and are activated to affect the development and progression of tumors. Here, we summarize the relationship between γδT cells and commensal bacteria, the potential protumor and antitumor effects underlying γδT cells, and the new developments in γδT cell-based tumor therapy which is expected to open new opportunities for tumor immunotherapy. In this study, we explored the effects of combining goat milk and oligosaccharides on the large intestine environment of mice. A combination of goat milk with each of 3 oligosaccharides—stachyose, fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS), and a prebiotics mix—were independently fed to mice. We investigated composition changes in the microbiota of the large intestine using 16S rRNA gene sequencing; measured short-chain fatty acid content using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry; and performed a Spearman correlation analysis between microorganisms and short-chain fatty acids. Our results showed that microbial diversity in the large intestine decreased significantly in the FOS group. In terms of α diversity, microbial richness significantly declined in all 3 treatment groups; in terms of β diversity, the intestinal microbial structures clearly changed in the FOS group. The abundance of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus increased markedly in the FOS group compared with the other groups. Functional predictions showed that FOS reduced intestinal bacterial infections and improved the endocrine and immune systems. Spearman correlation analysis showed that propionic, isobutyric, and valeric acids were all positively correlated with certain microbiota. Introduction. The current study is aimed at exploring the effect of Shentong Zhuyu Decoction on the proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis of rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes (RA-FLS) and its underlying molecular mechanism. Materials and Methods. The type II collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) model was established. Subsequently, the RA-FLS were isolated from the CIA rat model and identified by immunohistochemistry. The viability, apoptosis, cell cycle, migration, and invasion of RA-FLS were detected by the cell counting kit 8 (CCK-8) assay, flow cytometry, wound-healing assay, and transwell invasion assay, respectively. The levels of MAPK p38, PPARγ, CTGF, Bcl-2, Bax, caspase-3, IL-1β, MMP-3, CDK4, and cyclin D1 were determined by qRT-PCR and western blotting, respectively. Results. After treatment with Shentong Zhuyu Decoction medicated serum, the OD570 value, migrative and invasive abilities, and the secretion of IL-1β, MMP-3 were remarkably decreased in RA-FLS, while the apoptosis rate was increased. Further, results showed that Shentong Zhuyu Decoction inhibited the transition from the G1 phase to S phase. Additionally, Shentong Zhuyu Decoction significantly inhibited the expression of Bcl-2, CDK4, cyclin D1, MAPK p-p38, and CTGF, whereas elevated the levels of Bax, caspase-3, and PPARγ. Importantly, the effects of Shentong Zhuyu Decoction were consistent with the trends of MAPK P38 inhibitor (SB203580) and PPARγ agonist (GW1929). Conclusions. Shentong Zhuyu Decoction inhibited viability, inflammatory response, migration, invasion, and transition from the G1 phase to S phase and promoted apoptosis of RA-FLS via the MAPK p38/PPARγ/CTGF pathway. Background: Programmed death‐1 (PD‐1) blocking antibodies have been shown to improve progression‐free survival (PFS) and overall survival in a subset of patients with non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the objective response rate with these agents remains low, and the vast majority of NSCLC patients require alternative combination treatment regimens to prolong their survival. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of autologous cytokine‐induced killer (CIK) cell infusions combined with PD‐1 blocking antibodies in patients with NSCLC. Methods: In this preliminary study, we investigated the safety and immune function effectiveness of PD‐1 blockade antibodies pembrolizumab or nivolumab administered in combination with or without autologous CIK cell infusions in 18 patients with advanced NSCLC. The peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated from these patients and the expression level of some cell surface molecules like PD‐1 were detected using flow cytometry to reflect the effectiveness of this combination regimen. Results: No treatment‐related deaths occurred in either cohort. In comparison with the pretreatment level, CD3+CD56+CD16+ T cells were significantly increased with the combination therapy, while myeloid‐derived suppressor cells were significantly increased with PD‐1 blocking antibody therapy alone but not with combination therapy. Although the serum interleukin‐4 level was downregulated following treatment with the combination regimen, interferon‐γ levels were unchanged. Conclusions: The purpose of this clinical study was to report the clinical efficacy and lack of exacerbated autoimmune adverse events with a combination of PD‐1 blockade and CIK cell infusions in patients with advanced NSCLC, further supporting assessments of this combination in future clinical trials. The isothermal oxidation behavior of 17Cr-0.85Si-0.5Nb-1.2Cu ferritic stainless steel in air was studied from 850°C to 1050°C by analyzing its weight gain after oxidation. The kinetic curves were plotted using the oxidation weight-gain data, and the structure, surface morphology, and element distribution of the oxide films were analyzed by XRD, SEM, and EDS. The results showed that the oxidation kinetics curves at 850°C and 950°C followed a parabolic law, and a continuous and dense oxide film composed of Cr2O3 and MnCr2O4, FeCr2O4, and Cu-Cr rich spinel was formed, which reveals that the steel displayed good oxidation resistance. When the temperature was increased to 1050°C, the oxidation kinetics curves gradually changed from parabolic to linear after 40 h exposure, which indicated that the oxidation resistance significantly worsened. A lower oxidation resistance was observed at 1050°C due to the formation of a large amount of Fe2O3 on the surface and the volatilization of the inner Cr2O3 layer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
