Abstract

The article focuses on the study that determines the preponderance of drug-resistant HIV-1 and efficiency of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) to 339 patients in Hubei Province, China. To examine the 150 HAART-naive and 288 HAART-experienced patients, a cross-sectional studies were conducted. The study found out that there is a prevalence of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor and nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor among those detected with viremia.
