[Objective] The aims of this study are to investigate the regularities of runoff and sediment yield on the slope of Dicranopteris pedata under different dead rates (100%, 50% and 0%）, and to reveal the effect of Dicranopteris pedata under different growth conditions on soil erosion control. [Methods] The variation characteristics of runoff and sediment yield on the slope with different dead rates of Dicranopteris pedata were quantitatively analyzed through artificial simulated rainfall experiments. [Results] (1) The runoff rate under different rainfall intensity and dead rate of Dicranopteris pedata increased slowly or rapidly in the early stage, and tended to be stable in the late stage. Under the light rainfall intensity, the erosion rate, except for bare slope, increased slowly in the early stage and tended to be stable in the later stage. Under the high rainfall intensity, the erosion rate increased rapidly in the early stage, and gradually decreased and stabilized in the middle and late stage. (2) Except for the cumulative runoff under 2 mm/min rainfall intensity, the cumulative runoff and sediment yield were significantly different under the other treatment conditions, and the sediment yield increased with the increase of the dead rate of Dicranopteris pedata. (3) The relationship between cumulative runoff and cumulative sediment yield on the slope under different rainfall intensities conformed to the power function model (R~2＞0.99）. [Conclusion] The runoff rate and erosion rate increased rapidly in the early stage and fluctuated steadily in the later stage with the change of rainfall duration under the different mortality rates of Dicranopteris pedata plantation with two kinds of rainfall intensities. A good regression effect is obtained by fitting the functional relationship between cumulative runoff and cumulative sediment yield under each treatment. It is proved that the dead Dicranopteris pedata can also play a good role in soil and water loss control in the red soil erosion area in southern China. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Epilepsy is one of the five major neuropsychiatric diseases that the World Health Organization (WHO) focuses on prevention and treatment. From June 2017 to the present, the Epilepsy Working Group of National Center for Healthcare Quality Management in Neurological Diseases has launched the national epilepsy medical quality indicator system after three batches of pilots, based on full reference to domestic and overseas evidence-based evidence and previous indicator experience. It has built a medical quality control system for epilepsy and convulsive status epilepticus covering 130 sentinel hospitals in 31 provincial administrative regions across China. Regarding on the diagnosis and treatment indicator data feedback from sentinel hospitals, the system was revised based on the published quality control indicators. Twenty validated indicators in epilepsy and convulsive status epilepticus were included. In 2020, the General Office of the National Health Commission issued the indicator system. Disease quality control indicators rely on the national quality control network system to implement medical quality control and management, aiming at improving medical quality and promoting the homogenization of diagnosis and treatment. Currently, this indicator system has been incorporated into the accreditation standards for tertiary hospitals. In addition to strengthening the training, analysis and feedback of information on the indicators, the standardized diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and convulsive status epilepticus in medical institutions at all levels are constantly promoted. Epilepsy is one of the five major neuropsychiatric diseases that the World Health Organization focuses on. There are more than 10 million people with epilepsy in China, which lead to tremendous burden of disease. Fortunately, over 70% of epilepsy patients can achieve the treatment goal of seizure control and reintegration into society under standardized treatment. Improving the qualityof diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy can effectively improve the accessibility of medical care in people with epilepsy in China. In 2017, with the support of the National Health Commission, the National Center for Healthcare Quality Management in Neurological Diseases set up the Epilepsy Medical Working Group to start the construction of the medical quality control system in epilepsy and convulsive status epilepticus. The construction of medical quality control system for epilepsy and convulsive status epilepticus strengthened the national epilepsy management system, found out the status of diagnosis and treatment in China, built a dynamic feedback mechanism for the medical quality system with multiple data sources complementing each other. Applying medical quality tools for epilepsy and convulsive status epilepticus, which have continued to promote the homogenization of epilepsy diagnosis and treatment in China. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To study clinical effect of Peiyuan Xiaozheng Formula (Original Qi-Nourishing and Abdominal Mass-Eliminating Formula, PYXZF) on bone pain in patients at chronic kidney disease stage 5 dialysis (CKD 5D) complicated with chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorder (CKD-MBD), presenting the patterns of spleen-kidney deficiency and toxin stasis. Methods A total of 76 CKD 5D patients complicated with CKD-MBD bone pain, presenting patterns of spleen kidney deficiency and toxin stasis, were selected from hemodialysis center of Chongqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2018 to May 2020.They were randomly divided into control group (CG) (n=30) and experimental group (EG) (n=46). In 12 weeks, CG was given symptomatic treatment, while EG was given an additional PYXZF. The changes of traditional Chinese medical (TCM) pattern scores, visual analogue scale (VAS), serum calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), parathyroid hormone (iPTH) and serum bone specific alkaline phosphatase (BAP) were observed before treatment, as well as after treatment. Results The total effective rates of CG and EG were 60.71% and 90.9% respectively. The clinical efficacy of EG was better than that of CG (P＜0.01). After treatment, the scores of pattern in EG were significantly lower than those before treatment (P＜ 0.05, P＜0.01). The scores of edema, lack of appetite, loose stool, nausea and vomiting, heavy cumbersome limbs, chest pain and wheezing, pruritus in CG were decreased (P＜0.05, P＜0.01). Compared with those before treatment, VAS scores of EG decreased after 8 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment (P＜0.05, P＜0.01). The VAS scores of CG decreased after 12 weeks of treatment (P＜0.05). Compared with that before treatment, serum Ca in EG was increased (P＜0.01), and serum P, BAP and iPTH were decreased (P＜0.05, P＜0.01) after 8 weeks of treatment. Furthermore, serum Ca still was increased (P＜0.01), and serum P, BAP and iPTH were decreased (P＜0.01) in EG after 12 weeks of treatment. Serum Ca of CG was increased (P＜0.05), serum P, BAP and iPTH were decreased (P＜0.05) after 12 weeks of treatment. Conclusion PYXZF can effectively improve CKD-MBD bone pain in CKD 5D patients. The mechanism may be related to the regulation of abnormal mineral and bone metabolism and the improvement of excessive bone turnover caused by secondary hyperparathyroidism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To observe the influence of Peiyuan Tongluo Fang (Qi-tonifying Collateral-dredging Decoction, PTF) on clinical efficacy and micro-inflammation state in patients with phase IV diabetic kidney disease (DKD), and investigate the mechanism of PTF in treatment of DKD. Methods Phase IV DKD patients (n=106) were randomly divided into treatment group and control group (each n=53). There were actually 98 patients had complete treatment in 2 groups (each n=49). Besides of basic therapy, the treatment group was treated with PTF, and control group was treated with Niaoduqing Granule for 8 weeks. The changes of TCM patterns and levels of serum creatinine (SCr), estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), 24 h urinary protein excretion (24 h U-pro), urinary microalbumin protein (U-Alb), high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were observed and analyzed statistically in two groups. Results After treatment, all TCM patterns were significantly relieved (P<0.05 or P<0.01) in treatment group compared with before, which were superior to those in control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). After treatment, levels of SCr, 24 h U-pro and U-Alb decreased significantly (P<0.01) and eGFR level increased (P<0.05) in treatment group compared with before treatment, which were superior to those in control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). After treatment, levels of hs-CRP, TNF-α and IL-6 decreased significantly (P<0.01) in treatment group compared with before treatment, which were superior to those in control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 73.47% (36/49) in treatment group, and 44.90% (22/49) in control group (P<0.05). No adverse reactions were observed in 2 groups. Conclusion PTF combined with basic therapy of Western medicine can effectively reduce urine protein, protect kidney and alleviate micro-inflammation state in patients with phase IV DKD. The two-wheel self-balancing vehicle system is a system which is similar to an inverted pendulum, and holds multivariable, nonlinear, strong coupling characteristics. For the complexity of the vehicle control system, we designed a self-balancing vehicle system by using STM32F103C8T6 microprocessor as the main controller, and MPU-6050 sensor as the attitude detection unit. Because gyroscope and accelerometer exist measurement noise and random drift error, Kalman filter algorithm is used to realize data fusion of the gyroscope and the accelerometer. In this way the sensor measurement error is compensated and the best estimates of the vehicle inclination and angular velocity are obtained. A double closed loop control is established with the feedback of optimal attitude angle and vehicle speed. PID control is used to achieve self-balancing control of the vehicle system. The hardware and software are also designed. By commissioning and operation the self-balancing vehicle can achieve stable self-balancing control. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
