Abstract

A large-scale synthesis of high-quality single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with high yield over a Fe-Mo/MgO catalyst using ethylene is discussed. The results show that ethylene is a very ideal carbon source for a large-scale synthesis of high-quality SWNTs.
