Abstract

Although the process of laser welding, by overlapping, has long been used in many industries, the more specific micro-welding and micro-joining to overlap, by spot, between dissimilar materials is a matter of just today. Above, is in the common repairing artisan and industrial sectors as well as for gold, silver and jewelry and restoring the monumental and artistic, is a subject of study for a few years and today. In this work we have studied two different methods and techniques, then choosing one as the one considered better and more effective. The same technique and method has been tested on different materials and dissimilar pairs, and would anyway be successful and suitable for its purpose. Finally, it was almost a defined protocol process, something always awaited and highly appreciated by laser people and operators of industrial and handicraft sectors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
