The material collected in Asante Sana contains three species, one of them, Epermenia lutulenta, is a new species. Additionally are described as new: Epermenia aureomaculata; Epermenia nigrodentata; Ochromolopis cederbergensis and Ochromolopis lobata. New country records are established for Phaulernis montuosa Gaedike, 2013 (Uganda) and for Ochromolopis namibica Gaedike, 2004 ( South Africa).

A total of 781 species of Microlepidoptera belonging to 41 families are reported for the territory of Omsk Region. The most numerous is the Tortricidae family represented by 255 species, then Crambidae (94 species), Gelechiidae (70), Pyralidae (66), Pterophoridae (44), Depressariidae (32), Gracillariidae (29), Tineidae (25), Elachistidae (14), Adelidae and Elachistidae (8 species in each family), Yponomeutidae, Ypsolophidae, Ethmiidae and Cosmopterigidae (7 species in each family), Scythrididae and Oecophoridae (6 species in each family), Eriocraniidae (4), Nepticulidae, Momphidae and Epermeniidae (3 species in each family), Prodoxidae, Glyphipterigidae, Lyonetiidae and Choreutidae (2 species in each family), Opostegidae, Incurvariidae, Roeslerstammiidae, Argyresthiidae, Plutelliidae, Acrolepiidae, Bedelliidae, Parametriotidae, Chimabachidae, Cryptolechiidae, Batrachedridae, Blastobasidae, Autostichidae, Galacticidae (1 species in each family). 10 species are new to the Omsk Region. Agonopterix purpurea (Haworth, 1811) and Aethes flagellana (Duponchel, 1836) are reported from the territory of Omsk Region as new to the Asian Part of Russia; Fomoria weaveri (Stainton, 1855) reported from the territory of West Siberia for the first time.

This paper records a further locality on the Isle of Wight (VC10) for Epermenia insecurella (Stainton, 1849), following the rediscovery of the species there in 2018. We describe the larva in more detail than in the few British larval accounts that we have traced, together with images, as well as providing a description, again with images, of the pupa as this has apparently not previously been described in the British literature. An account is given of two species of hymenopterous parasitoids reared, one of which may only have been previously recorded once before in the British Isles, in England in 1991. This paper records the rediscovery of Epermenia insecurella (Stainton, 1849) on the Isle of Wight after 92 years and reviews prior records from there. Places of larval pupation are considered and also the name of the type locality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A detailed study of specimens from several regions of the distribution of Ochromolopis zagulajevi Budashkin & Sachkov, 1991 and O. ictella (Hübner, 1813) shows that O. ictella and O. zagulajevi are parapatric species with overlapping distribution in the Balkan Peninsula. Details of morphological and molecular differences as well as a distribution map with locations of the examined specimens are given.

The paper summarizes the results of our study of selected Microlepidoptera families (Meessiidae, Tineidae, Douglasiidae, Epermeniidae, Glyphipterigidae: Acrolepiinae) collected in the Russian Altai. Tinea altaica sp. nov. is described from the vicinity of Tashanta on the Russian-Mongolian border and from Mongolia. The new species distantly resembles Tinea semifulvella Haworth, 1828 and T. semifulvelloides Petersen, 1973. The up to now unknown females of Klimeschia biarmatella Budashkin, 2003 and Monopis luteocostalis Gaedike, 2006 are described. Scardia boletella (Fabricius, 1794), Crassicornella crassicornella (Zeller, 1847), Trichophaga ziniella Zagulajev, 1960, Tineola bisselliella (Hummel, 1823), Monopis laevigella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), M. pallidella Zagulajev, 1955, Epermenia ochreomaculella asiatica Gaedike, 1979, and Acrolepiopsis sapporensis (Matsumura, 1931) are recorded from the Altai Republic for the fi rst time. Tinea hongorella Zagulajev, 1975 and Klimeschia biarmatella Budashkin, 2003, so far known only from the holotypes, are new species for Russia. Tinea hongorella is also a new species for Europe. The article focuses on the study of four families, Tineidae, Epermeniidae, Acrolepiidae, and Douglasiidae. Each family offers species of taxonomical and faunistical interest in which biological background and distribution are stated. Among the specimens cited within the four families are Monopis megalodelta, previously known only from the Afrotropical region and has been the first record from the Palaearctics, Tinissa insularia, known from the type localities in Java, Malaya, and Borneo, and Tinagma anchusellum, known from North Europe through Central Europe and Balcan peninsula to Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.
