In this work, FR‐PNX, an alkylphosphate oligomer was introduced into rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF) to fabricate FR‐PNX/RPUF composites. The flame retardancy, thermal stability, and combustion properties of composites were investigated by limiting oxygen index (LOI), thermogravimetric (TG), microcalorimetry (MCC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), et al. The flame retardancy tests demonstrated that the incorporation of 50 phr of FR‐PNX yielded composites that the highest LOI of 23.6 vol% and achieved a V‐0 rating in the UL‐94 test. TG results indicated that FR‐PNX promoted the decomposition of FR‐RPUF in the process, but enhanced the high‐temperature stability of the composites. MCC analyses revealed that the addition of FR‐PNX suppressed the heat release during combustion, and FR‐PNX50/RPUF exhibited the lowest total heat release of 17.3 MJ/m2, a 35% reduction compared to the pure sample. Moreover, the peak heat release rate was decreased to 83.1 W/g, representing a 46.9% reduction compared to pure RPUF. SEM and Raman analyses of the char residue demonstrated that the incorporation of FR‐PNX facilitated the formation of a dense and continuous char layer in the FR‐RPUF, with increased graphitization degree of the char layer, thereby enhancing the composite's fire resistance through the development of a more stable fire barrier. Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) photocatalysts have attracted dramatically growing attention due to their attractive electronic structure, relatively low cost, high physicochemical stability, and earth-abundant features, but their practical applications are hindered by the fast recombination of photogenerated carriers, low conductivity, and lack of absorption towards longer wavelengths. In this work, a simple and effective strategy is demonstrated to highly promote the photocatalytic performance of the g-C3N4 by modifying with tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin (TCPP) molecules, which can be tightly adsorbed on the g-C3N4 surfaces through π–π stacking. The typical TCPP/g-C3N4 photocatalyst with 0.1% TCPP content shows a highly enhanced photocatalytic degradation rate of 0.0591 min−1 towards Rhodamine B (RhB), which is more than two times higher than the 0.0224 min−1 for the pristine g-C3N4. Detailed investigations elucidate that the highly improved photocatalytic performance is contributed by the broadened visible light absorption and improved electron–hole separation efficiency and carrier migration efficiency induced by coupling TCPP molecules. Besides, RhB molecules prefer to be adsorbed on the TCPP/g-C3N4 surfaces, which is beneficial for the oxidative degradation reaction with the active species near the surfaces. Catalyst poisoning by SO x has hindered the industrial application of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology for the DeNO x of low temperature flue gas for many decades. The current engineering process of placing the SCR unit after the desulphurization and dedusting units can lead to high project and operational costs owing to low DeNO x efficiency at low temperatures. Based on our previous pilot results, a DeNO x project case was built before the desulfurization unit in a medium coking plant to explore the industrial feasibility of low temperature DeNO x in the presence of SO x . A new engineering process was considered and designed to overcome the problem of SO x , including the elimination of SO 3 with NH 3 before the SCR reactor, the filtration of ash by a foam metal plate and in situ regeneration technology. The project case could run continuously for six months with above 70% DeNO x efficiency and less than 10 ppm NH 3 slip at 250 °C and a space velocity of 4000 h -1 in the presence of 260-300 mg m -3 SO x . The activity loss for the catalyst itself was not obvious after it had been running for six months, but blocking of the honeycomb channels by the sedimentary ash on the honeycomb catalyst modules owing to the low linear velocity resulted in decreased DeNO x efficiency and an increased pressure drop. Background: To evaluate the reversal effect of high dose tamoxifen on multidrug resistance to EP regimen in patients with non-small cell lung cancer., Methods: A total of 41 patients with NSCLC were studied, who were resistant to EP regimen and were proved to have P-gp protein overexpression. All patients were randomizedly divided into two arms. Reversal group (n=21) received oral tamoxifen 100?mg, 2 times everyday on D1-5, together with EP regimen. Control group (n=20) were only given EP regimen., Results: In reversal group, complete response occurred in 1 patient, and partial response in 5; disease remained stable in 11 patients, and tumor progression occurred in 4 patients. The response rate was 28.6%(6/21). In control group, no response occurred; 9 patients had stable diseases, and the other 11 progressed. There was a significant difference in response rate between the two groups (P=0.012?1). In reversal and control groups, the median survivals were 8.4 and 4.6 months respectively (P < 0.01), and 1-year survial rates were 38.1% and 35.0% respectively. Reversal of P-gp occurred in 7 cases of reversal group (33.3%),and none in control group (P= 0.005?2) . There was no significant difference in toxicities between the two groups (P > 0.05)., Conclusions: High dose tamoxifen can remarkably downregulate the expression of P-gp and partially reverse the multidrug resistance to EP regimen for non-small cell lung cancer.
