The evolution of inclusions in molten steel in tundish before and after vacuum treatment during the production of GCr15 bearing steel in a steel plant is analyzed， the results showed that total oxygen content in molten steel increased greatly in tundish. Magnesium aluminum Spinel inclusions increased in RH soft blowing and tundish to varying degrees， and the number increased significantly in tundish. The MgO aggregate particles in the working layer of the tundish coating are greatly reduced， and some MgO particles are dissolved in the molten steel， resulting in the increase of oxygen content in the molten steel.The effect of different SiO2 content on the phase of tundish coating was discussed by thermodynamic simulation analysis. It was proposed that the control of SiO2 content at range 4%~6% and the strengthening of tundish masonry management can reduce the formation of high temperature low melting phase in tundish coating and effectively improve the flaw detection eligibility rate of bearing steel GCr15 head slab.

Early detection has the potential to reduce cancer mortality, but an effective screening test must demonstrate asymptomatic cancer detection years before conventional diagnosis in a longitudinal study. In the Taizhou Longitudinal Study (TZL), 123,115 healthy subjects provided plasma samples for long-term storage and were then monitored for cancer occurrence. Here we report the preliminary results of PanSeer, a noninvasive blood test based on circulating tumor DNA methylation, on TZL plasma samples from 605 asymptomatic individuals, 191 of whom were later diagnosed with stomach, esophageal, colorectal, lung or liver cancer within four years of blood draw. We also assay plasma samples from an additional 223 cancer patients, plus 200 primary tumor and normal tissues. We show that PanSeer detects five common types of cancer in 88% (95% CI: 80-93%) of post-diagnosis patients with a specificity of 96% (95% CI: 93-98%), We also demonstrate that PanSeer detects cancer in 95% (95% CI: 89-98%) of asymptomatic individuals who were later diagnosed, though future longitudinal studies are required to confirm this result. These results demonstrate that cancer can be non-invasively detected up to four years before current standard of care.

This theoretical study reveals the origin of regioselectivity of a polar vinyl monomer (PVM) in the copolymerization of different PVMs with ethylene by the DBB–Ipty α-diimine Pd(II) complex with a bulky dibenzobarrelene (DBB) backbone and bulky axial pentiptycenyl (Ipty) substituents. DFT calculations were employed to investigate the regioselectivity of the insertion of three acrylate monomers (CH2＝CHCOOR: R = H, AA; R = Me, MA; and R = tBu, tBA) catalyzed by the DBB–Ipty Pd(II) complex. The results indicate that with the increase of the size of the monomer substituents (AA < MA < tBA), greater repulsion occurs between the monomer and the catalyst, leading to a gradual preference for 1,2-insertion. By stepwise regression analysis, a multivariate linear regression (MLR) model on the factors affecting regioselectivity was constructed. Coefficient analysis of the MLR equation reveals that the buried volume (%Vbur) of the monomer and the NBO charge on the vinyl C1 atom (NBOC1) significantly affect the regioselectivity of monomer insertion. Specifically, the bigger %Vbur tends to 1,2-insertion of the PVM, while the higher NBOC1 is apt to 2,1-insertion. Through the contribution values of the coefficients in the equation, we can derive that steric hindrance is the primary factor of regioselectivity, while the electronic effect plays a secondary role. With the emergence of cutting-edge hardware systems such as cloud computing, edge computing, and on-chip neural network accelerators, how to design advanced memory strategies to substitute the traditional ones for maximizing the potential performance of non-volatile memory (NVM) under the existing hardware conditions, has become an urgent research issue for both academia and industrial communities. It is promising and innovative to improve computer systems in the layer of data exchanging with the emerging advanced semiconductor devices. In the paper, to address the inefficiencies of write-intensive, high power consumption, low hit rate and so on, which exist in hybrid magnetic random access memory cache systems, three novel cache replacement strategies and two cache prefetching strategies are put forward. The proposed triple novel replacement strategies, including historical frequency and time judgments, duplicate data-aware deletion, and dynamic relevance factors computing, can be utilized to compensate for the shortcomings of the traditional least recently used replacement strategy, respectively. In the two novel prefetching strategies, region distribution parameters and Listnet ranking network are imported into the caching process, respectively, to achieve optimized hitting performance. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed replacement strategies can achieve up to 61.76%, 84.91%, 56.49%, and 53.21% optimization of write count, hit rate, dynamic power, and IPC compared to the conventional one. The proposed prefetching strategy can achieve up to 91.27%, 49.25% hit rate and IPC optimization. Meanwhile, the synthetic evaluation of the replacement and prefetching strategies are elaborated in the paper, including multi-core characteristics, information entropy, interplays and the performance constraints between replacement and prefetching mechanism, which would facilitate more credible ideas for future memory inefficiencies management and strategy design. Flexible pressure sensors can be widely utilized in healthcare, human–computer interaction, and the Internet of Things (IoT). There is an increasing demand for high-precision and high-sensitivity flexible pressure sensors. In response to this demand, a novel flexible pressure sensor with a symmetrical structure composed of MoS2 and PDMS is designed in this paper. Simulation is conducted on the designed flexible pressure sensor. Its piezoresistive effect is analyzed, and the influence of the cavity structure on its sensitivity is investigated. Additionally, a fully symmetrical Wheatstone bridge composed of the flexible pressure sensor is designed and simulated. Its symmetrical structure improves the temperature stability and the sensitivity of the sensor. The structure can be used to convert pressure changes into voltage changes conveniently. It indicates that the sensor achieves a sensitivity of 1.13 kPa−1 in the micro-pressure range of 0–20 kPa, with an output voltage sensitivity of 3.729 V/kPa. Current sensors play a vital role in power systems, industrial production, smart devices and other fields, which can provide critical current information in the systems for the safety and efficiency managements. The development of magneto-resistive effect technology in recent years expedites the research process of the current sensors in industrial-level applications. In the review, starting with the development status of the current sensors, the physical mechanisms of the relevant magneto-resistive effects and their early applications as the current sensors are introduced. Several design methods of the magnetic sensors, as well as their merits and shortcomings, are summarized. The performance parameters of the magnetic sensors based on AMR, GMR, TMR and Hall effects are reviewed, including the front-end amplification circuits and conditioning circuits. The industrial applications of the current sensors in the fields of automobiles and photovoltaic inverters are enumerated. The criterions for the current sensors to be used in different scenarios are discussed. In the future, it is imperative to continue the research and development of novel current sensors in order to satisfy the increasingly stringent demands of the industrial developments, in terms of the performance, cost and reliability of the current sensors.
