[Purpose/Significance] Interdisciplinary research has emerged as a key driver of knowledge innovation, its essence being integration of knowledge from different disciplines. A deep and nuanced understanding of the research content of interdisciplinary knowledge integration is essential to foster innovation beyond traditional academic boundaries. Most of the research reviews on interdisciplinary research summarize theories, concepts and indicators from the macro level, while the content of interdisciplinary knowledge integration at the micro level is scattered, and lacks systematicity and logic. Therefore, this study attempts to classify and summarize the research methods, research content and research ideas involved in order to provide reference for scholars and researchers engaged in interdisciplinary knowledge integration. [Method/Process] Based on Web of Science (WOS) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database as the primary data sources, we reviewed the relevant literature on interdisciplinary knowledge integration. By clarifying the intrinsic meaning of interdisciplinary knowledge integration, we have systematically reviewed and summarized the existing research findings from three aspects. First, research on the degree of knowledge integration mainly involves measurement methods. Second, research on the content of knowledge integration is based on citations and keywords. Third, research on the process of knowledge integration involves its integration path and process, and the characteristics of the integration stage. On this basis, this paper also summarizes the limitations and challenges of existing research, and provides research perspectives for subsequent research on interdisciplinary knowledge integration. [Results/Conclusions] The existing results have extensively explored the definition, measurement method, content, and process of interdisciplinary knowledge integration, but there are problems such as limited applicability of knowledge integration measurement methods, insufficient semantic disclosure, and the lack of systematic research on the degree of knowledge integration. Future research in this area should pay attention to the following three aspects. First, the applicability of methods for measuring interdisciplinary knowledge integration should be improved in order to better adapt to the development of interdisciplinary knowledge integration. Second, there is also a need to strengthen the study of knowledge integration from the perspective of knowledge increment, examining how new knowledge is created and how it contributes to the advancement of the area. In addition, efforts should be made to explore new theories and methods, grasp the development law of interdisciplinary knowledge integration, and expand the application scope and application value of interdisciplinary knowledge integration.

Background: Suhexiang (SHX) pill is widely used for treating acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Experimental and randomized controlled trials suggested that SHX pill was beneficial for patients with AIS. However, the effectiveness of SHX pill in real-world practice setting remains unclear. It is of great importance to investigate the effectiveness and safety of SHX pill in patients with acute ischemic stroke in real-world clinical practice with long-term follow-up. Methods: The Suhexiang pill for acute ischemic stroke in Real-world Practice Setting (SUNRISE) is a multicenter, prospective, product-specific, observational study designed to provide insight into the administration of SHX pill for patients with AIS in the real-world clinical practice setting, with an initial sample size of 1000. Eligible patients treated with SHX pill within seven days of AIS onset will be consecutively included in this registry. The primary outcome is the proportion of patients independent at 3 months after stroke onset defined by an mRS score of 0, 1, or 2. Conclusion: The findings of the SUNRISE registry will not only provide insights into the characteristics of patients who may benefit from SHX treatment, but also may enable the individualized treatment decision-making of SHX pill in real-world practice setting. AbstractTo understand the spatial and temporal evolution of temperature and moisture during microwave drying of molded pulp products (MPP), a three-dimensional transient model that couples electromagnetic, heat and mass transfer was developed. The coefficient of determination between the simulated and measured moisture content was greater than 0.963, indicating good qualitative agreement existed. This work analyzed the distributions of the electric field, temperature field, and moisture field. Furthermore, the effects of varying microwave power densities on MPP drying were numerically investigated. The results showed that the drying time was reduced by 25.0–37.5% and the average temperature increased by 4.8–7.3 °C as the microwave power density enhanced from 9 to 15 W/g. The simulated spatial field distributions revealed the presence of two distinct hot spots on the surface of MPP, characterized by higher electric field strength and elevated temperatures, with the right hot spot being more pronounced. The transient distributions indicated that heat migrated from the hot spots to the edges of the MPP, while the distribution of moisture content presented an inverse relationship to the temperature field. Additionally, it was observed that the maximum temperature reached 107 °C at 15 W/g, which could potentially result in material cracking or deformation. To address this issue, a variable power drying scheme that could reduce the drying time by 10% was proposed. Moisture generation in the ventilation projects of deeply buried underground corridors affects the underground building environment and personnel health. In order to master the heat and humidity transfer law of underground corridors, this paper establishes a mathematical model by theoretical analysis, and the application of the theoretical model in engineering calculation is verified by a field test. It is found that the ventilation efficiency and heat and humidity transfer effect are related to corridor shape. The results show that under the same cross-sectional area, the average temperature drop and humidity of a rectangular corridor are 0.25% and 0.3% higher than that of an arch corridor, and 0.8% and 0.9% higher than that of a circular corridor. Under the condition of constant section circumference, the average temperature drop and humidity of a rectangular corridor are 0.51% and 0.62% higher than that of an arch corridor, and 1.37% and 1.58% higher than that of a circular corridor. When the equivalent diameter is the same, there is almost no difference in the heat and humidity transfer effect of the three shaped corridors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The overactivation of the osteoclasts is a crucial pathological factor in the development of osteoporosis. MZF1, belonging to the scan-zinc finger family, plays a significant role in various processes associated with tumor malignant progression and acts as an essential transcription factor regulating osteoblast expression. However, the exact role of MZF1 in osteoclasts has not been determined. In this study, the purpose of our study was to elucidate the role of MZF1 in osteoclastogenesis. First, we established MZF1-deficient female mice and evaluated the femur bone phenotype by micro–computed tomography and histological staining. Our findings indicate that MZF1−/− mice exhibited a low bone mass osteoporosis phenotype. RANKL could independently induce the differentiation of RAW264.7 cells into osteoclasts, and we found that the expression level of MZF1 protein decreased gradually. Then, the CRISPR/Cas 9 gene-editing technique was used to build a RAW264.7 cell model with MZF1 knockout, and RANKL was used to independently induce MZF1−/− and wild-type cells to differentiate into mature osteoclasts. Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase staining and F-actin fluorescence results showed that the MZF1−/− group produced more tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase–positive mature osteoclasts and larger actin rings. The expression of osteoclast-associated genes (including tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase, CTSK, c-Fos, and NFATc1) was evaluated by reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blot. The expression of key genes of osteoclast differentiation in the MZF1−/− group was significantly increased. Furthermore, we found that cell viability was increased in the early stages of RANKL-induced cell differentiation in the MZF1−/− group cells. We examined some prevalent ferroptosis markers, including malondialdehyde, glutathione, and intracellular Fe, the active form of iron in the cytoplasm during the early stages of osteoclastogenesis. The results suggest that MZF1 may be involved in osteoclast differentiation by regulating RANKL-induced ferroptosis of osteoclasts. Collectively, our findings shed light on the essential involvement of MZF1 in the regulation of osteoclastogenesis in osteoporosis and provide insights into its potential underlying mechanism. In order to reveal the change laws of microstructure in apple slices during hot air‐explosion puffing drying, the microstructure images and parameters of apple slices under different drying conditions were obtained by using paraffin sectioning, microscopic observation, and image processing techniques with apples as raw material and CO2 as drying medium. Subsequently, the changes in internal cell and pore structure of dried apple slices were analyzed, as well as the relationship between micro‐parameters of apple slices and macro‐measurement indicators was further obtained. Results indicated that the overall cross‐sectional area, cross‐sectional perimeter, equivalent diameter, and porosity of cells increased by explosion puffing drying, while the cell roundness and wall roughness factors changed relatively little. Meanwhile, macro–micro parameters of expanded apples were fitted and analyzed. Then, the obtained mathematical model showed a nonlinear correlation as experimental and predicted results exhibited good agreement, with determination coefficients R2 more significant than 0.8, which could better expect the macro–microparameters to change in the drying process. The results of this research could provide an essential reference for exploring the change laws of tissue microstructure parameters in apples dried by hot air‐explosion puffing drying, with expansion and rehydration ratios under different experimental conditions, as well as optimizing the puffing drying process and designing corresponding drying equipment. Practical Applications: Fresh apples have high moisture content and are not easy to store, so drying is usually used to reduce the moisture content to extend shelf time and increase economic benefits. For the drying process of fruit and vegetable products, scholars mainly focused on the influence of microstructure parameters on moisture migration, drying rate, heat and mass transfer and other factors, but did not give a quantitative description of how microstructure parameters affect macroscopic parameters. In this article, the relationship between microstructural changes and macroscopic indicators was investigated by taking puffed apple slices as an example. Aims: Despite successful vascular recanalization in stroke, one‐fourth of patients have an unfavorable outcome due to no‐reflow. The pathogenesis of no‐reflow is fully unclear, and therapeutic strategies are lacking. Upon traditional Chinese medicine, Tongxinluo capsule (TXL) is a potential therapeutic agent for no‐reflow. Thus, this study is aimed to investigate the pathogenesis of no‐reflow in stroke, and whether TXL could alleviate no‐reflow as well as its potential mechanisms of action. Methods: Mice were orally administered with TXL (3.0 g/kg/d) after transient middle cerebral artery occlusion. We examined the following parameters: neurological function, no‐reflow, leukocyte‐endothelial cell interactions, HE staining, leukocyte subtypes, adhesion molecules, and chemokines. Results: Our results showed stroke caused neurological deficits, neuron death, and no‐reflow. Adherent and aggregated leukocytes obstructed microvessels as well as leukocyte infiltration in ischemic brain. Leukocyte subtypes changed after stroke mainly including neutrophils, lymphocytes, regulatory T cells, suppressor T cells, helper T type 1 (Th1) cells, Th2 cells, B cells, macrophages, natural killer cells, and dendritic cells. Stroke resulted in upregulated expression of adhesion molecules (P‐selectin, E‐selectin, and ICAM‐1) and chemokines (CC‐chemokine ligand (CCL)‐2, CCL‐3, CCL‐4, CCL‐5, and chemokine C‐X‐C ligand 1 (CXCL‐1)). Notably, TXL improved neurological deficits, protected neurons, alleviated no‐reflow and leukocyte‐endothelial cell interactions, regulated multiple leukocyte subtypes, and inhibited the expression of various inflammatory mediators. Conclusion: Leukocyte‐endothelial cell interactions mediated by multiple inflammatory factors are an important cause of no‐reflow in stroke. Accordingly, TXL could alleviate no‐reflow via suppressing the interactions through modulating various leukocyte subtypes and inhibiting the expression of multiple inflammatory mediators. Metastasis‐associated protein 1 (MTA1), belonging to metastasis‐associated proteins (MTA) family, which are integral parts of nucleosome remodelling and histone deacetylation (NuRD) complexes. However, the effect of MTA1 on osteoclastogenesis is unknown. Currently, the regulation of MTA1 in osteoclastogenesis was reported for the first time. MTA1 knockout cells (KO) were established by CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing. RAW264.7 cells with WT and KO group were stimulated independently by RANKL to differentiate into mature osteoclasts. Further, western blotting and quantitative qRT‐PCR were used to explore the effect of MTA1 on the expression of osteoclast‐associated genes (including CTSK, MMP9, c‐Fos and NFATc1) during osteoclastogenesis. Moreover, the effects of MTA1 on the expression of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in osteoclastogenesis was determined by 2′, 7′ ‐dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCFH‐DA) staining. Nuclear translocation of Nrf2 was assessed by immunofluorescence staining and western blotting. Our results indicated that the MTA1 deletion group could differentiate into osteoclasts with larger volume and more TRAP positive. In addition, compared with WT group, KO group cells generated more actin rings. Mechanistically, the loss of MTA1 increased the expression of osteoclast‐specific markers, including c‐Fos, NFATc1, CTSK and MMP‐9. Furthermore, the results of qRT‐PCR and western blotting showed that MTA1 deficiency reduced basal Nrf2 expression and inhibited Nrf2‐mediated expression of related antioxidant enzymes. Immunofluorescence staining demonstrated that MTA1 deficiency inhibited Nrf2 nuclear translocation. Dormant bacterial spores do not take up and bind nucleic acid dyes in the spore core but readily take up such dyes when they are fully germinated. We present a methodology that combines fluorescence microscopy, phase contrast microscopy, and laser tweezers Raman spectroscopy to monitor the kinetics of uptake of the nucleic acid dye SYTO 16 during germination of individual Bacillus cereus and Bacillus subtilis spores. The level of dye bound to nucleic acids of individual spores was measured by fluorescence emission, while changes in spore refractility and the level of the 1:1 chelate of dipicolinic acid and [Ca.sup.2+] (CaDPA) were monitored by phase contrast microscopy and Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The results obtained include (1) during nutrient germination, SYTO 16 began to enter the spore core and bind to nucleic acids just when spores had released all CaDPA and continued until hydrolysis of spores' peptidoglycan cortex was complete; (2) during germination with exogenous CaDPA, rapid SYTO 16 uptake began only 2-7 min after complete release of endogenous CaD PA for both B. cereus and B. subtilis spores; (3) the rate but not the timing of dye uptake and the maximum level of dye bound to nucleic acid were increased during nutrient germination of B. subtilis spores lacking ~75% of the DNA binding proteins that normally saturate dormant spore DNA; (4) SYTO 16-DNA binding was not observed during nutrient germination of B. subtilis spores lacking the protease that degrades spores' DNA binding proteins, even after cortex hydrolysis; (5) SYTO 16 uptake by germinating B. subtilis spores lacking the cortex-lytic enzyme (CLE) CwlJ was low, again even after cortex hydrolysis, although SYTO 16 uptake by germinating spores lacking the other redundant CLE SleB was even higher than in germinating wild-type spores; and (6) there was no SYTO 16 uptake by germinating spores that lacked both CwlJ and SleB, even after CaDPA release. These results suggest that during spore germination SYTO 16 uptake is minimal until CaDPA has been released and DNA binding proteins have been degraded and further that CLEs' degradation of the spore cortex plays a crucial role in uptake of this dye. 10.1021/ac1022327

We present a methodology that combines external phase contrast microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and optical tweezers to monitor a variety of changes during the germination of single Bacillus cereus spores in both nutrient (L-alanine) and non-nutrient (Ca-dipicolinic acid (DPA)) germinants with a temporal resolution of ~2 s. Phase contrast microscopy assesses changes in refractility of individual spores during germination, while Raman spectroscopy gives information on changes in spore-specific molecules. The results obtained include (1) the brightness of the phase contrast image of an individual dormant spore is proportional to the level of CaDPA in that spore; (2) the end of the first Stage of germination, revealed as the end of the rapid drop in spore refractility by phase contrast microscopy, precisely corresponds to the completion of the release of CaDPA as revealed by Raman spectroscopy; and (3) the correspondence between the rapid drop in spore refractility and complete CaDPA release was observed not only for spores germinating in the well-controlled environment of an optical trap but also for spores germinating when adhered on a microscope coveralip. Using this latter method, we also simultaneously characterized the distribution of the time-to-complete-CaDPA release ([T.sub.release]) of hundreds of individual B. cereus spores germinating with both saturating and subsaturating concentrations of L-alanine and with CaDPA. 10.1021/ac1003322

Effective identification of the control model is one of the key aspects in improving the performance of the single gimbal control moment gyroscope (SGCMG) servo system. The accuracy and stability of the servo system can be improved by studying system identification and mechanical resonance frequency. In this study, firstly, the SGCMG gimbal servo system was simplified to a two-mass block model. The theoretical mathematical model of the system's transfer function and mechanical resonance frequency was derived. Secondly, this paper studied the effective suppression method for mechanical resonance. Thirdly, the mathematical model of the orthogonal correlation analysis method was deduced for system identification. Then, an experimental platform was investigated to obtain the frequency characteristic curve and the transfer function. Finally, the frequency characteristic curve obtained using the transfer function model was plotted and compared with the frequency characteristic curve obtained experimentally. The transport characteristics and kinetics of moisture in hot-pressing are crucial to controlling the insulated paperboard drying process. The effects of operating temperature (110, 120, and 130 °C) on moisture transfer characteristics of an insulated paperboard were investigated. The results showed that the hot-pressing process consists of four successive stages, i.e., the warm-up stage, the boiling-point temperature stabilization stage, the temperature slowly rising stage, and the constant temperature stage. It was observed that a higher temperature mainly affected the medium and later stages of the hot-pressing process. When the operating temperature increased from 110 to 130 °C, the maximum value of the drying rate increased by 16.04%, and the drying time decreased by 62.50% consequently. Furthermore, a new mathematical model used to describe the moisture transfer kinetics for the insulated paperboard hot-pressing was developed in this paper. The results from the proposed new model were evaluated with another eight commonly used models. It showed better predictions and satisfactorily described the moisture transfer kinetics of the insulated paperboard compared with other models under the investigated hot-pressing conditions. The values of R2, χ2, and root mean square error (RMSE) of the new model varied from 0.99961 to 0.99999, 0.00001 to 0.00005, and 0.00120 to 0.00599, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
