The study was conducted to identify the role of consumer personality in influencing fashion consumption; the study tries to establish a relationship between personality, fashion involvement, innovativeness, and purchase intention. Data were collected from 512 generation Z participants (born after 1997) and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling to demonstrate multivariate relationships using descriptive and causal research. The study concludes that a consumer's personality positively correlates with fashion involvement. The present study strengthens the finding that apparel expresses an individual's personality by stating that consumers' personalities are positively associated with fashion innovativeness. Once personality leads to a positive association with fashion involvement and innovation, the latter two traits show a positive association with purchase intention. Among the innovativeness and involvement, the latter has a more influential role in shaping the customer's purchase intention. The examination of the effect of consumer personality on fashion consumption-related variables, involvement, and innovativeness has contributed to a better understanding of the mechanism that underlies the operation of an individual purchasing a product. The study explores the determinants that affect consumer behavior towards online payments and attempts to identify the significance of mobility and trust. The conceptual model of the study was tested on 280 respondents using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings indicate that attitude is significantly associated with the intention of the consumer towards online payments, which in turn is significantly associated with perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Trust and mobility are significantly associated with perceived ease of use. Trust in turn is significantly associated with perceived reputation and perceived risk. This study was undertaken to explore the determinants which affects the customer's intention to continue digital payment services. The ECM model was extended by using security and responsiveness. The conceptual model of the study was tested on 350 respondents using Partial Least Squares Structured Equation Modelling. The current study looked at how perceived security, responsiveness, and usefulness influenced the quality of digital payment services, digital payment customer satisfaction, and consumers' intentions to use these digital payment services. The findings indicate that perceived security, responsiveness, customer satisfaction and service quality have a significant impact on customers' willingness to continue using digital payments whereas perceived usefulness is not found to have a statistically significant impact on service quality towards digital payment services. Responsiveness found to be the most significant predictor of service quality while security is found to be the most significant predictor of customer satisfaction towards digital payment services. The present research provides a guide to the banking sector and helps them to identify the factors which contribute towards the intention of customers to continue digital payments services. The findings of the study also demonstrate that marketing managers and analysts have enormous potential to capitalize on these opportunities and plan for the long-term success of digital payment systems. Marketers are basically making use of electronic media to promote all the goods and services into the market. The issue could easily be solved by making or allowing customers to interact or talk about the brand through the use of digital media. Through this research the researcher would be focusing and talking about the importance of digital marketing for both customers and the marketers. This research is conducted to understand why digital marketing is more effective than traditional media and what are the major differences between digital and traditional media. The researcher made use of primary and secondary data, and a close ended questionnaires, where a sample of 105 respondents were selected. The data was collected through Google forms and analysed using the SPPS statistical tool to explore descriptive statistics like frequency, mean, standard deviation as well as cross-tabs and inferential statistics, comprising regression analysis and ANOVA. As emotional intelligence competencies are seen as the key to personal and professional success, thus it becomes significant to study the relationship of experience and age of an individual on the level of emotional intelligence. This study aims at finding out the perception and the level of emotional intelligence in a person on the basis of his/her age group and gender. The study is exploratory in nature where quota sampling was used to collect data. This study attempts to study the level of emotional intelligence among faculty members of academic institutions (who are the institution's greatest asset), like Amity University, SRM University, Delhi University, Lucknow University, and Christ University. A 2x3 factorial design was prepared to compare emotional intelligence between age and gender of academic professionals. A self-designed questionnaire, prepared on Likert type scale was distributed among 200 academicians of India, out of which 165 were responded and eventually, 160 questionnaires were selected for analysis. Tools like item to total correlation, reliability, factor analysis, and Z-test were used to analyse the data. Various factors like proficiency, holistic wisdom, candidness, insight, sensibility, understanding situations, truth loving, being relaxed; matured, balanced, having optimism, sagaciousness, calmness and development were identified. Results of the Z-test shows that respondents in different age groups differ in emotional intelligence except between age groups of 25-35 and above 55. In order to explore some potential insect sources of food lipids, the lipid compositions of three Orthopterans ( Acheta domesticus , Conocephalus discolor and Chorthippus parallelus ) were analyzed and compared with those of Tenebrio molitor larvae. A. domesticus , Co. discolor , Ch. parallelus and T. molitor larvae were found to contain approximately 15%, 13%, 10% and 32% lipids on dry weight, respectively. The lipids from three Orthopterans contain much higher amounts of essential fatty acids than those of T. molitor larvae. The two Orthopterans of the suborder Ensifera i.e., A. domesticus and Co. discolor contain linoleic acid in major quantities, while Ch. parallelus of the suborder Caelifera, contain α-linolenic acid in major quantities. The consumption of linoleic and α-linolenic fatty acid is linked with numerous health promoting effects. The factors that contribute to differences in fatty acid profiles of these insects are being discussed. At last the nutritional parameters including polyunsaturated to saturated and omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acid ratios of these insect lipids are also being discussed to understand the potential role of these lipids in human nutrition. Insects, particularly those belonging to the family Acrididae (grasshoppers), are commonly consumed as human food in many parts of the world. Grasshoppers of the species Chorthippus parallelus are abundantly found throughout Europe. However, these insects were not consumed by Europeans till now, but could possibly be used as human food, which is why we investigated their chemical composition. We found that they contain high level of proteins (69%), with an excellent amino acid profile and protein digestibility (97%). Furthermore, specimens of C. parallelus have an interesting fatty acids profile and minerals composition. Preliminary toxicity assessment indicates that these insects do not exhibit toxicity towards neutrophil cells (white blood cells). These data suggest that C. parallelus could be considered for human consumption. Rearing trials done during the study show that commercial rearing could be developed to produce sufficient biomass for sustaining human consumption. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Antiphospholipid antibodies (APLA) are acquired autoantibodies directed to phospholipids which are associated with slow progressive thrombosis and infarction of placenta. Infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss may occur because of impaired trophoblast function, placental infarction, and abnormal blood clotting. Aim: To evaluate APLA (IgG and IgM) in cases of infertility and recurrent abortions. Materials and Methods: A prospective study comprising 70 subjects was carried out. Fifty cases of unexplained infertility and recurrent abortions (25 each) constituted the study group. Twenty healthy multipara females of same reproductive age group constituted the control group. Venous blood samples were collected, and serum was analyzed for two types of APLA (IgG and IgM) by ELISA method. Results: The mean IgM and IgG levels in recurrent abortions group were 8.10 MPL-U/ml and 6.17 GPL-U/ml, respectively whereas in control group, the levels were 4.67 MPL-U/ml and 4.53 GPL-U/ml, respectively. The difference was statistically nonsignificant. The mean IgM and IgG levels in unexplained infertility group were 7.30 MPL-U/ml and 6.12 GPL-U/ml, respectively whereas in control group, the levels were 4.67 MPL-U/ml and 4.53 GPL-U/ml, respectively. Again the difference was statistically nonsignificant. Conclusions: The present study concludes that there is no significance of raised APLA in cases of infertility and recurrent abortions. Temporomandibular joint ankylosis (TMJA) secondary to congenital infiltrating lipomatosis of the face (CILF) is an exceptionally uncommon condition which is characterized by the involvement of unilateral facial soft tissues and bones. In some cases, the extensive exophytic bony growth in the temporomandibular joint region often extends toward the skull base and lies near adjacent vital structures. Only very few cases of TMJA associated with CILF have been reported in the literature. The authors report a case of a 36-year-old female with right TMJA secondary to CILF. The bony overgrowth in the right temporomandibular joint region was arising from a deformed right mandibular condyle, extending towards the ipsilateral temporal bone, greater wing of the sphenoid, skull base, and approaching the lateral limit of foramen ovale, and foramen spinosum. CRISPR-Cas9 has risen as a potent gene editing method with vast potential across numerous domains, including its application in cancer research and therapy. This review article provides an extensive overview of the research that has been done so far on CRISPR-Cas9 with an emphasis on how it could be utilized in the treatment of cancer. We go into the underlying ideas behind CRISPR-Cas9, its mechanisms of action, and its application for the study of cancer biology. Furthermore, we investigate the various uses of CRISPR-Cas9 in cancer research, spanning from the discovery of genes and the disease to the creation of novel therapeutic approaches. We additionally discuss the challenges and limitations posed by CRISPR-Cas9 technology and offer insights into the potential applications and future directions of this cutting-edge field of research.
