Purpose. The promising directions for transforming scattered electronic testing resources into an innovative training system designed to develop competencies in the field of higher education in modern Russia are considered in this article. The research subject is methodological approaches to the preparation of test databases, the organization of training and pedagogical control in the electronic environment of the university. The main purpose of research is explanation of the basic techniques and methods of practical application of testing for the improvement of students' cognitive activity. Methodology. The methodological basis of the research includes methods such as comparative, monographic and structural-logical analysis, estimating, rating as well as dialectical, didactic and systematic approaches. Results. The algorithm has been developed for the integrated implementation of the instrumental capabilities of computer testing as a methodological basis for an innovative training system at the intra-university level. The authors argue that the variety of test task helps students concentrate their attention on the content of the training material. Alternatively, in the opinion of the authors, regular intra-university and external testing should be used as forms of distance learning and pedagogical diagnostics in combination with traditional forms of organizing independent work and control. It allows us to reveal the creative potential of the individual and motivate students to continue their studies at a higher level of education. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the field of higher education in teaching of economic theory, history and other social and humanitarian disciplines.

Intercultural communication is the main goal of teaching a foreign language, as it is the practice that students strive for, namely, to speak and communicate freely and correctly with representatives of other cultures. The teacher is an intermediary who helps students to work out and analyse all knowledge correctly and use it in practice. The purpose of the article is to study on the basis of a teaching aid and a survey of effective methods of teaching intercultural communication and to build a learning model. The scientific and practical significance lies in improving the process of teaching students intercultural communication, which will help students avoid conflict situations or misunderstandings with other cultures in practice. The main research methods are the evaluation of different methods of teaching intercultural communication, the analysis of educational materials, the observation and analysis of their effectiveness. The results showed that the most effective work in learning is the right model and strategy of learning, as well as the combination of several forms of learning, for example, individual and group methods. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the analysis of the effectiveness of practical methods for teaching intercultural communication. The model of the learning process of intercultural communication can be used in practice in teaching, as well as serve as a theoretical basis for other studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of the article is to reveal the potential of cognitive grammar for English learning. The author shows how the reliance on the key concept of 'observational window' and the differentiation of two opposite strategies of human cognition – direct (“I SEE”) and indirect (“I KNOW”) – facilitates acquisition of the aspectual-temporal system of the English verb. By the cognitive analysis of the meaning of the indefinite verbal aspect, the author proves that the key to successful foreign language communication is students' awareness of the meaning that English speakers keep in mind at the moment of speech production, when the 'observational window' is closed. The results of the work can be used in the practice of teaching and learning English in secondary schools and higher educational institutions, in advanced training courses.

In modern times, new means and techniques for optimising the educational process are required because one of the purposes of professional training is to increase the effectiveness of the educational process. Good-quality professional training requires the introduction and implementation of modern educational technologies. The authors studied this, using the example of future engineers-teachers' training, and implementation of modern educational technologies into this process was the purpose of the study. Such methods as analysis, synthesis, empirical method, concretisation, generalisation, survey and questionnaire were used. The aspects of readiness for the introduction of modern educational technologies were studied. The first condition is the readiness of university teachers to organise the process of training future engineers-teachers with the use of modern educational technologies and their active introduction into the educational process. Another aspect is the development of individual approaches to each student with the use of modern educational technologies. Also, a desire for professional self-improvement and self-education should be developed in students which will contribute to successful training. The results of the study allowed to conclude that the level of students' readiness to the introduction of modern educational technologies does not fully meet societal needs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research works for two reasons; first, academically, variative method will be highly effective and efficient in teaching quality. Meanwhile if this does not develop well, it is an obstacle for the achievement of learning objectives, the achievement of critical thinking skills. Second, based on the first observation, it was found that there are some social studies teacher who teach the student by speech method, asking-answer question, and giving works. It will not develop student critical thinking based on what FRISCO stated. The research purpose is to identify and analyze the learning method of social studies teacher in MIN Rejoso to developing student critical thinking skills. It is field research with qualitative approach. The data is collected by interview, observation, and document analysis. The data analysing technicque uses “discourses analysis”. The research found is the method used by social studies teacher in MIN Rejoso Peterongan Jombang can not develop the student critical thinking skills. The causes is there are some teacher‟s view that social studies is similar with rote and stories. The paradigm that may admit the teacher is everything, teachers is lazy to design critical learning due to lot of other works that must finished, and limited facilities.

The article is devoted to the presentation and analysis of innovative methods of teaching IT discipline. The goals, content, methods and means of teaching the discipline "Workshop on IT Management", developed at the Financial University, are considered. The presented methodological innovations can be divided into two types: innovations in the content of the discipline, as well as innovations in the teaching methods of the discipline. The first type of innovations is based on the architectural approach, Architecture Development Method from TOGAF, as well as approaches to the analysis and design of an IT management system. Innovations of the second type are based on the integrated integration of the following approaches into the teaching methodology of the discipline: the project approach, the case method, adaptive case management, and design thinking methods. The article demonstrates the main areas of application of these approaches in the process of teaching the discipline and guiding educational projects on business transformation. The problems of forming a business transformation case based on the use of IT in the form of an educational project carried out by a team of students are identified. The most effective educational methods are presented to eliminate the identified problems. The analysis carried out within the framework of this study made it possible to identify which methodological techniques allow achieving the stated goals of the discipline.

The article examines the modern capabilities of using digital technologies in the preschool education system. The use of these digital technologies under present-day conditions is simply necessary due to the fact that preschoolers today represent a new generation, for which the use of various gadgets and applications is an everyday routine. It is outlined that the use of digital technologies in the education system and the provision of diversity in teaching methods, changing activities and the development of children’s desire to master virtual tools and teaching methods contributes to increasing children’s interest in the learning process and develops their motivation in educational activities. The article focuses on the relevance of the use of digital storytelling technology in the study of English by preschoolers. The author of the article comes to the conclusion about the effectiveness of this technology, talks about the stages of preparation for the successful implementation and use of storytelling technology in English lessons, and also offers resources that will help teachers to implement the technology in the educational process. The author shows the advantages of using digital storytelling technology, makes recommendations on its combination with other educational technologies in order to ensure the diversity in pedagogical approaches being used as well as to improve the learning of material and maintain the constant cognitive interest of preschoolers in the English language.

The present study aimed to evaluate the Diploma of Associate Engineers (DAE) program working under TEVTA by using seven parameters (curriculum, physical facilities, academic facilities, administrative facilities, method of teaching, assessment and evaluation and social factors) in province Punjab. The research design chosen for this study was concurrent mixed-methods because qualitative and quantitative data were collected to provide complete analysis of the research problem. Population of the study comprised all teachers, students and experts working in the respective field. Sample of the study consisted of 360 prospective Associate Engineers along with 120 teachers and seven experts. For quantitative data survey questionnaire was adopted to collect data from teachers and students. Reliability of the questionnaire was 0.91. Qualitative part was explored through in-depth interview. Purposive sampling technique was employed to conduct interviews from seven technical experts from TEVTA. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics (percentages, means and SD). Thematic analysis approach was used to analyze interviews. Findings of the study revealed that curriculum, academic facilities, administrative facilities, assessment and monitoring system, were adequate in all College of Technologies (GCTs) of Punjab. However, they required updated methods of teaching and sufficient equipment in labs to cope with the industry in future. It is recommended that effective planning and monitoring system needs to be done to produce skilled manpower for the development of industry in Punjab, Pakistan. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article aims to carry out an analysis about the obtaining of teaching and learning in distance higher education using the Bloom Taxonomy. Was held a systematic bibliography research considering the contributions of authors to emphasize the importance of Bloom Taxonomy as tool focused in the learning process. According to the scientific literature, this method of teaching is of extreme value to professionals involved in every stage of development, execution and evaluation, helping in clarification of planning teaching, in the generation of instructional material of structured way, standardized and integrated, defining learning strategy for distance education.

The need to adjust the courses in Accounting to deliver to market professionals with leadership skills, able to meet the complexities posed by the organizations, guided this work we aimed to identify the contributions of the use of empirical research to develop leadership competency in Accounting course. This is a descriptive research procedures using case study and literature review, which was used as the sample students of the Accounting year 2014/01 enrolled in the Accounting discipline Situational Leadership Activity of UNITE. The survey results allow us to state that the method is presented as among the great alternative teaching methods available to teachers of humanities courses in Accounting, highlighting how their contributions, the ability to nurture the actual experience in the context of enable organizations and academics, the ability to critically evaluate the pros and cons of behaviors adopted when the professional practice that require skills of leaders.

The article reviews the goals, tasks, methods, and results of teaching Latin at Humanities University. The article points out that the basis of teaching is analytical reading with elements of discursive analysis. In Humanities University teaching is being provided through the interdisciplinary approach. The educational process includes interactive exercises, the use various forms of control, for example, lingual-didactic testing in a virtual learning environment. The results of current and final control are formed with the help of the point-rating system of assessing knowledge.

Introduction: Education of children with special needs is an important field of study. Children with special needs deserve to be educated like any other human being. Over the years, several provisions have been made and laws have been passed to ensure education of children with special needs. A visually impaired child’s needs and goals for learning are not different from that of his sighted peers. Only the means of achieving those goals are different. Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the prevalent method of teaching and the system of examination for students with Visual Impairment studying in the special schools for the blind in India and Japan. Methodology: The study was delimited to i) blind students only and ii) the special schools for the blind in Kolkata and Tokyo. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 50 teachers (25 each from the special schools for the blind in Kolkata and Tokyo). The researcher interviewed the teachers. Semi–structured information schedules were used to collect data and the data were analyzed only qualitatively. Findings: The method of teaching the blind students was similar in both Kolkata and Tokyo. Differences were observed mainly in the type of teaching equipments used. Regarding the system of examination, differences were observed within the special schools in Kolkata. In Tokyo, however, all the special schools followed a uniform system. The study revealed that in Kolkata a strict pass/fail criterion existed. In Tokyo, on the other hand, there was no strict pass/fail criterion. Conclusion: This study is important because not many comparative studies have been done between India and Japan. Most of the comparative research work is either between Japan and the U.S.A or between Japan and the U.K. This study was conducted mainly to find out the differences between a Developing and a Developed nation. Being a developed country, it is always assumed that there will be a lot to learn from Japan. Through this research study an attempt has been made to find out whether this assumption is true and if it is true then, to what extent the system can be implemented and practiced in the Indian scenario.

The problem of adaptation of organism is studied to the sharp changing types of activity with exercises on physical training (from the state of hypodynamia to the intensive physical loadings). Due attention is spared the terms of synchronization of phase physiological rhythms and combination them with the rhythm of forthcoming actions. The necessity of taking into account of biorhythmic activity of organism is rotined studying during the leadthrough of employments on exercises. It answers the task of maintainance and strengthening of health of students. The method of exercises is adjusted toward individual expression of internal wave vibrations and rhythm of motions.

This article is part of our work as researchers at the Faculty of Education at the Universidad Nacional del Comahue. This work is part of the research project: "What does secondary school teach? A study of the marks it has left on graduates in their own voice. This project seeks to "build new theoretical and interpretive categories to address the impact that the school produces in the personal stories of subjects and which are remembered as significant learning. The interviews provide data on learning the stories of the graduates, storytelling through various models of memory that contain cognitive marks (1). From this history -of the interviewees- our goal is to study about the people who in one way or another, remember their way through middle school, those who received them at first entry to the institution, and those who accompanied them all the way along the school level. In the correlated analysis of the data, these people have been generically called as "significant referents", because they are binding to the place and to those days of schooling.
