Journalists are the main pillars of press freedom. Therefore, in carrying out their duties, journalists are entitled to legal protection from the state, society, and press companies. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach that intends to understand the phenomena experienced by the research subjects. This study used Elton Mayo's (2003) approach because of his concept of "Human Relations Theory" emphasizes the importance of the psychological and social aspects of employees as individuals or workgroups. Mayo developed the field of industrial psychology by applying the results of scientific research to work problems to improve the standard of living of workers and industrial managers and encourage collaboration between management and workers. The conclusion was that not all press companies were able to protect their journalists. However, some media companies have provided masks, particular clothes, special shoes, and more incentives should be the company's obligation to fulfill them. The workers will prefer a safe, comfortable, clean, and a minimum level of disturbance environment since there is a relationship between individual characteristics and work motivation. During the COVID 19 period, the momentum was for media companies to emphasize their attention to their journalists. Media companies should not only have protocols when assigning journalists to coverage but also have protocols for saving journalists as human beings. This momentum can also be used by media companies to reaffirm that journalists are required to have clear work safety.

This research is a review of consumption practice with the underlying assumption of advanced post-industrial capitalist or postmodern as the consumptive society. This research tries to review the consumption practice and pattern of material goods or symbolic activity. Consumption in this research is the whole type of social events done by everyone so that the operation can be used to characterize and recognize him. The effort to acquire the knowledge on consumption practice of the modern society also includes the debate on a more philosophical epistemological aspect of the 'modernity’or even ‘postmodernity’ terminologies. Consumption, in Baudrillard, is radicalized into the consumption of sign. It means that the consumption society is no longer bound to a morality and habit they once held, but they see the existence from the aspect of how many signs they can consume. In this kind of society, consumption is no longer seen as an activity to consume the object but as a systematic action to manipulate the object. The consumption referred to in this study is no longer of use (usability) or exchange value but more about symbolic value. Consumption rationality diverted its path as an effort to fulfill desire instead of needs. This research also uses the qualitative approach of phenomenology. The subject of this study is the members of Ganbattearisangroup (regular revolving savings social gathering) in Samarinda consist of 10 upper-middle-class women who work as entrepreneur and professional. This research uses an approach in the cultural perspective as a way of life in reviewing a problem.

The dependence on rice as a source of carbohydrates in Indonesia is among the highest in Asia. Innovations to develop products that can be used as a carbohydrate source, and have functional values beneficial to health are currently needed. The present work thus aimed to determine the chemical composition, glycaemic index, and antidiabetic property of three analogue rice types. The formulation of three types of analogue rice was done by combining natural tuber flour, modified tuber flour, germinated cereals, and germinated legumes. The glycaemic index was assessed using experimental animal. The antidiabetic properties of three types of analogue rice were assessed by food efficiency ratio, glucose profile, lipid profile, and atherogenic index. Results showed that analogue rice had high dietary fibre, resistant starch, and protein, and low fat and carbohydrate. The three types of analogue rice were classified as low glycaemic index based on glycaemic response tests. The glycaemic index of analogue rice I, II, and III were 41.23 ± 3.39, 42.55 ± 3.21, and 40.19 ± 3.34, respectively. The ability of analogue rice to decrease glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein, atherogenic index; and increase high-density lipoprotein in diabetic mice was affected by its low glycaemic index and chemical composition benefits. This study aimed to evaluate the consumption of four types of analog rice made from different composite flours in alloxan-induced diabetic rats. Forty-two male Wistar rats were divided into seven groups and fed different food for six weeks: normal standard food (NSF), diabetic standard food (DSF), diabetic commercial rice (DCR), and diabetic analog rice (DAR) I∼IV. Total phenolic, dietary fiber, and resistant starch contents were evaluated in every analog and commercial type of rice. The parameters studied were fasting blood glucose, homeostatic model assessment (HOMA) insulin resistance (IR), HOMA β, lipid profile, atherogenic indexes (AI), weight changes, serum insulin and antioxidant activities. Total phenol, dietary fiber, and resistant starch were higher for analog rice IV than the other three analog rice. In addition, analog rice IV had a greater ability to lower fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and low-density lipoprotein levels. High density lipoprotein levels increased in all groups fed analog rice, and all diabetic rats fed four types of analog rice had improved weight, antioxidant activity, serum insulin levels, HOMA IR, HOMA β, and AI. Commercial rice consumption did not improve glucose or lipids profiles, antioxidant activity, serum insulin level, HOMA IR, HOMA β, or AI in diabetic mice.
