Background: The current study considers a new direction of surgical treatment of liver echinococcosis - the use of minimally invasive treatment methods of parasitic cysts. Methods: After clinical and morphological substantiation of the very possibility of carrying out such procedures, 9 microwave ablations (MWA) and 3 radiofrequency ablations (RFA) of cysts were performed in patients with liver echinococcosis from 2017 to 2021 in the surgical clinic of Botkin Hospital, Moscow, Russia. A comparative analysis of treatment results of patients with echinococcal liver cysts (12 patients who underwent “percutaneous puncture, aspiration, injection and reaspiration” (PAIR) procedure and 12 patients – MWA and RFA) was carried out. Results: The number of complications according to Clavien-Dindo classification was as follows: 8 after PAIR procedure, 3 after RFA and 3 after MWA. The median hospital length of stay (LOS) after PAIR procedure was 6.46 days versus 4.7 and 4 in the groups of patients who underwent RF and MW ablation, respectively. The frequency of relapses within the first year after PAIR procedure was 25%. The patients who underwent ablation procedures had no relapses of liver echinococcosis during observation. Conclusion: The presented clinical and morphological substantiation and the experience of using various types of ablation techniques on echinococcal cysts, as well as a comparative analysis with a commonly used PAIR treatment method, demonstrated the safety of RFA and MWA for the patient and efficacy in relation to the hydatid process.

Analysis results of the average annual sea levels in the Caspian Sea obtained from ground and satellite observations, corresponding to solar activity characteristics, magnetic field data, and length of day are presented. Spectra of the indicated processes were investigated and their approximation models were also built. Previously assumed statistical relationships between space-geophysical processes and Caspian Sea level (CSL) changes were confirmed. A close connection was revealed between the low-frequency models of the solar and geomagnetic activity parameters and the CSL changes. Predictions extending into the next decades showed a high probability of an increase in the CSL and a decrease of the compared space-geophysical parameters.

For decades, satellite altimetry is providing reliable data on the sea level, surface currents, tides, planetary and wind waves and sea ice. We propose a potential enhancement of collecting special data subsets for a better temporal and spatial sampling of dynamics of the Sub-Polar seas. We show that peculiarities of the orbits of the TOPEX/Poseidon and Jasons’ missions generate a regular grid of crossovers which locations are fixed in space and time of the orbit cycles. Two types of these special crossovers are specified: self-crossovers (SC) occurring as intersections of tracks of the same satellite and inter-crossovers (IC) appearing during the phases of interleaved orbits when tracks of two different satellites are crossing. The time delay between two consecutive measurements in the high-latitude sites is less than 2 h for SC and 1 h for IC, thus providing a ground for monitoring large-scale currents (including current direction) and wind waves. The sets of the special crossovers can be regarded as networks of virtual ocean buoys. The Norwegian Sea case study illustrates the value of the special crossovers for the Sub-Polar seas and the feasibility of building the networks of SC and IC in other areas of the World Ocean.

Purpose: to define the dynamics of technical preparedness and competition activity of young footballers in age 10–12. Material and Methods: analysis and generalization of literary sources; pedagogical supervisions; instrumental method of registration of competition performance indicators; methods of mathematical statistics. In research 24 footballers took part 10–12. Playing activity was analysed during 18 games of championship of s. Kharkiv on football. Results: dynamics of indicators presented by tests: dribbling, stroke counters, shot on goal, dribbling with a stroke 5 laps, juggling, hit the ball on the accuracy. Conclusions: it was determined that the total command of technical and tactical actions (TTA) during competitive activity increases with age. The 10-year-old young players perform per game 324,6±12,3 TTA, at 11-years of age, the figure was 407,1±14,6 TTA, and in 12-years – 433,2±13,8 TTA.

In this paper, the effectiveness of using the method of improving the strength qualities of young players 12-13 years is considered. Objective: The study was attended by 30 young players of 12-13 years old. Results: It was found that the average results in the experimental group were higher than in the control group, the largest changes occurred in the indicator of the standing triple jump (by 0.33% more in the experimental group than in the control group), and the same changes occurred in tests of the wrist dynamometry (right hand) - 1,5% better squeezing in the experimental group, the wrist dynamometer (left hand) - 0,8% more in the control. The test of the standing long jump is 0,42% higher in the experimental group than in the control group. This trend can be traced in other tests, so in the pull-up on the H- bar the difference was 3,1%, in a standing jump up - 4,8%. Conclusions. The lack of significant differences can be explained by the short term of the pedagogical experiment, as well as the homogeneity of groups. At the same time, the results of pedagogical observation, consultation with doctors, parents, review of the journal of general state showed that most of those involved in the experimental group increased their physical fitness. In this paper, quantitative and qualitative individual technical and tactical characteristics of actions of highly-skilled football players are considered. Objective: The study was conducted among professional football players of the Premier League teams of Ukraine for the season 2016-2017. 53 professional football players of the Premier League teams participated in it. Results: The model characteristics of technical and tactical actions during the game of high-skilled players of various game roles are determined. The wing defenders are predominantly short and middle passing forward (28,3% of all gaming activities), ball receiving (23,1%), and short and passes backwards and forward (19,2%), other TTA are 29,4%. Central defenders mostly perform short and middle passing forward (29,3%), ball receiving (22,3%) and short and middle passing backward (12.8%), other TTA (33,6%). The central midfielders for the game mainly perform short and middle passing forward (25,2%) and backward and cross (22,6%), using the 24,1% of ball receiving and other TTA - 28,1%. Wing midfielders also prefer short and middle passing forward (25,7%) and backward and cross (20,4%), while 25,9 % of ball receiving is performed from the total number of technical and tactical actions (other TTA - 28,0%). Attackers are more likely to perform ball receiving (34,4 %), and short and middle passing backwards and cross (19,5 %) and forward (16,6 %), while other TTA make up 29,5%. Other indicators of technical and tactical actions in the players of all game roles do not reach 10%. Conclusions. The model indicators of technical and tactical actions during the game of elite players of different game roles are determined. For central and wing defenders, predominantly short and middle passing forward (29,3%; 28,4% respectively), ball receiving (22,3%; 23,2%) and short and middle passing backward and cross (12,8%; 19,3%). The central and wing midfielders mainly use short and middle passing forward (25,2%, 25.7% respectively), ball receiving (24,1%; 25,9%), short and middle passing backward and cross (22,6%; 20,4%). The practice of sports activities shows that even with a competent science-based program of the training process, not all young athletes can achieve a high level of athletic skill, which influence on their further sporting destiny. Objective: The study was conducted on the basis of the Arsenal children's football club in Kharkiv, which was attended by 24 players of 10-12 years old. The tests of psycho-physiological preparedness were carried out four times before the start of the first circle (08.28.2016), after the first round (November 23, 2016), before the start of the second round (27.03.2017) and after the completion of the second round (05.06.2017) the football championship of the city of Kharkov. Results: With the age psycho-physiological indicators are significantly improved in assessing the ability to predict the situation on the field: between 10 and 11-year-olds - by 0.16 points (t = 3.57; p <0.001) and between 11 and 12 by 0.27 points (t = 2.99; p <0.05). The operational memory of 11-year-old young players were improved by 0.79 points relative to 10-year-olds (t = 2.30; p <0.05), and in 12 years by 1.09 points to 11-years athletes (t = 4.12; p <0.05; 0.001). Changes in tepping test values from 10 to 12 years old were obtained (t = 3.15; p <0.01), which is explained by higher physical activity (both by number of occupations and volume of loading). Conclusions. The developed system of special exercises of the children's and youth sports school has positively influenced the development of high-speed qualities of young footballers. The authenticity of differences with the age can be explained by the positive effect of training loads on the body of young football players after pedagogical observation. We believe that planning high-speed training is an integral part of planning a training process for young players at the stage of preliminary basic training. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Suppression of the core-corona structure and wire ablation in wire array Z-pinches is investigated using a novel double pulse current generator ‘Qin-1’ facility. The ‘Qin-1’ facility allows coupling a ∼10 kA 20 ns prepulse generator with a ∼0.8 MA 160 ns main current generator. The tailored prepulse current preheats wires to a gaseous state and the time interval between the prepulse and the main current pulse allows formation of a more uniform mass distribution for the implosion. The implosion of a gasified two aluminum-wire array showed no ablation phase and allowed all array mass to participate in the implosion. The initial perturbations formed from the inhomogeneous ablation were suppressed, however, the magneto Rayleigh–Taylor (MRT) instability during the implosion was still significant and further researches on the generation and development of the MRT instabilities of this gasified wire array are needed.
