Students frequently encounter challenges in vocabulary selection, clarity of expression, and the construction of lengthy, under-informed essays during communication and writing tasks. To address these issues, this paper introduces a novel approach utilizing sentence recommendation to enhance students’ communicative and writing competencies. Specifically, the proposed model employs a Probabilistic Latent Semantic Analysis (PLSA) topic model to calculate the similarity of Chinese sentences and recommends contextually relevant sentences to students, thereby guiding their communication and writing efforts. Additionally, the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic model is applied to analyze and mine the corpus at both word and sentence levels, culminating in the creation of comprehensive and varied practice documents through thoughtful integration. Building on the capabilities of these models, we devise a pedagogical strategy for the course “Communication and Writing”. Empirical testing reveals significant improvements; the average score of the experimental class’s pre-test exceeded the post-test by 4.01 points in terms of self-efficacy in communication and writing tasks. Moreover, the total scores reflecting students’ self-efficacy in communication and writing assignments and skills showed marked enhancement, bolstering their self-efficacy in these areas. Regarding behavioral changes, the proportion of students frequently initiating communication and writing activities surged from 4.5% to 23%, an increase of 18.5%. Ultimately, the instructional strategies outlined in this study provided students with effective practice tools, significantly elevating their cognitive and sentence quality in communication and writing tasks.

The stability of NOx concentration in a coal-fired unit affects the operation performance of denitrification system. By constructing the stability evaluation model, the quantitative evaluation of the big data distribution of NOx concentration was realized. The original big data cleaning method combining K-means clustering and 3σ criterion was constructed, and the data of different working conditions were divided by the sliding window method. A NOx concentration reference value model was established based on the least-squares regression method. Based on the deviation degree, the deviation degree function and the stability coefficient function were constructed, and the stability scoring function was obtained after normalization, so as to realize the quantitative evaluation of the stability of full load NOx. The model was used to evaluate NOx data from a 660 MW coal-fired unit. The results show that the overall concentration of NOx concentration distribution is high and positively correlated with load rate. The stability score of variable load condition is about 2.35% lower than that of stable condition. When the load rate is increased from 50% to 100%, the stability score is increased by 21.28%. It shows that the model can effectively evaluate the stability of NOx distribution and provide a basis for benchmarking coal-fired units.

To examine the effects of water washing and acid-based deashing on the structure as well as combustion characteristics of Zhundong lignite, this study used high-speed planar laser-induced fluorescence measurements (OH-PLIF) with a specific burner and characterization techniques including XRD, BET, and ICP-AES as the method. The results indicated that both water washing and deashing can remove the ash and the main mineral alkali metals. Compared with RC, the total amount of OH release from WWC and UCC was increased attributing to the addition of combustibles and volatiles. The ignition of WWC and UCC was faster than that of RC, while the burning rate followed the opposite order. Experimental result confirms that the alkali metal and alkaline earth metals play a catalytic role in coal combustion. Meanwhile, the increase of the BET surface area and the reduction of ash are conducive to heat transfer, which is favorable for the ignition of pulverized coal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Effects of Vortioxetine on the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tyrosine kinase B (Trk B) in hippocampus of depressive rats were investigated. Forty-five SD rats were randomly divided into three groups: model control, Vortioxetine and normal control group, with 15 rats in each group. The changes of body mass were recorded within 5 weeks, and the open field test, sugar water preference test and Morris water maze test were performed to evaluate the behavior and mental status of the rats. The expression of BDNF and Trk B in rat hippocampus was detected by enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay. Compared with the model control group, the body mass, horizontal and vertical movement, sugar and water preference rate of the vortioxetine group in the 5th week were significantly higher than those of the model control group (P<0.05), and significantly lower than those of the normal control group (P<0.05). The escape latency of the Vortioxetine group within 4 days was significantly lower than that of model control group (P<0.05), but higher than that of normal control group (P<0.05). The target quadrant residence time of the Vortioxetine group was significantly lower than that of the model control group (P<0.05), but higher than that of the normal control group (P<0.05). Expression of BDNF and Trk B in the Vortioxetine group was significantly higher than that in the model control group (P<0.05), but lower than that of the normal control group (P<0.05). Collectively, Vortioxetine can effectively alleviate the symptoms of autonomous and exploratory behavior, and reduce the decrease of learning and memory in depressive rats. In this study, the co-combustion of Zhundong coal and NH4H2PO4 was investigated in a laboratory-scale tube furnace. The ash fusibility, combustion performance, and ash characteristics were quantified by experimental approaches. This study also used Gibbs free energy theory to analyze the chemical reactions. The results showed that NH4H2PO4 can extend the burning time of coal and reduce combustion intensity. Moreover, NH4H2PO4 significantly changed the composition of ash, which was caused by reactions between alkali/alkaline earth metals and NH4H2PO4, increasing the sodium retention ratio of the formed ash. In addition, the newly formed phosphate crystals (i.e., Mg2P2O7, AlPO4, and Ca3(PO4)2) with higher melting temperatures contributed to the increase in fusion temperature of the formed ash, and the sodium-containing crystals (i.e., Na2CaP2O7 and NaMg4(PO4)3) contributed to the increase in the sodium retention ratio. Zhundong coal (ZD), which has a high content of Na and low ash fusion temperature (AFT), causes a serious problem of slagging in boilers. P-rich municipal sludge has suitable properties for managing problems with alkali metals, but its insufficient utilization makes sludge management harder. Thus, co-combustion of municipal sludge and ZD may be a suitable approach to solve the problems. Different proportions of sludge were added to ZD at 900°C in different contents of O2 in a laboratory-scale tube furnace experimental system. The transformation of the minerals, the AFTs of residual ashes, and changes of the sodium retention ratio were investigated, respectively. The test results indicate that the ash fusibility of ZD and the sodium retention ratio can be improved because of the generated high-melting-point phosphates, such as Ca2.71Mg0.29(PO4)2, Ca5(PO4)3(OH), Ca9Fe(PO4)7, and Ca9MgNa(PO4)7. With increases in the proportion of sludge in blended samples, the AFTs increase, but the extent of the increase tends to be reduced. Modified sludge with a lower SiO2/Al2O3 ratio is more favorable for the improvement of the AFT. A series of MnOx-CeO2/ZSM-5 catalysts with different Ce loadings were prepared through the impregnation method and characterized by BET, XRD, SEM, H2-TPR, and XPS. The performances of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO/NO2 with NH3 and NO oxidation over MnOx-CeO2/ZSM-5 catalysts were investigated. The result showed that the MnOx dispersions, redox abilities and proportions of Mn4+ of catalysts were enhanced by the doping of CeO2. However, the excessive Ce loadings led to the accumulation of active components on the catalyst surface. The sample with Ce/Mn molar ratio of 0.39 exhibited the best SCR performance, the NOx conversion achieved 95.4% at 150 °C, and maintained higher than 95% in a wide operating temperature range (150-350 °C). NO conversion using dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma with different catalysts was investigated. Cu/TiO2, Cu/Al2O3, Cu/ZSM-5, Cu/CNTs and Cu/AC catalysts were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation with 4 wt% Cu loaded. BET, SEM, XRD, XPS, H2-TPR, NH3-TPD were used to measure and evaluate various catalysts. Compared with the plasma only process, the combination of plasma with different catalysts significant improved the NO conversion rate. The highest NO conversion rate of 76% could be achieved with Cu/ZSM-5 catalyst at the energy density of 184 J/L. The results indicate that Cu species over the support ZSM-5 can produce high concentrations of CuO, largest specific surface area, largest amounts of acidity and lowest reduction temperature (209 °C), these factors conducive to plasma-catalyst reaction. Besides, Cu/TiO2 and Cu/Al2O3 catalysts exhibited excellent NO conversion at the low energy density because of the low thermal stability. NO X removal using dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma was investigated. Results indicated that NO and NO X removal efficiency increased with an increasing temperature. The main reason was that the high temperature increased the dissociation of C 2 H 2 , N 2 and O 2 , and the reaction rates involving HO 2 , CH 2 and C 2 H radicals, promoting NO removal. The addition of H 2 O at room temperature prevented the discharge in the DBD reactor. At lower energy density, energy transferred from electron to reactant was limited, preventing the dissociation of reactant and leading to a decrease in active species, and then NO removal efficiency decreased. However, NO removal efficiency remained the same at different relative humidity and at higher energy density. Molecular modeling research based on transition state theory and density functional theory was performed to clarify the mechanisms for NH3evolution during the reaction of H2with char edge models containing 2-pyridone in zigzag and armchair configurations. The thermal chemical activation energy and enthalpy change were calculated in the overall process of NH3formation. The results indicate that formation of −NH2radicals is possible for both char edge models containing 2-pyridone in the zigzag and armchair configurations. Then, NH3can be produced through homogeneous hydrogen abstraction. It is found that the reaction of releasing NH3can be completed relatively easily with the char edge model containing 2-pyridone in the armchair configuration. Most pathways for NH3evolution appear to involve endothermic reactions for both configurations. These results provide a reference and basis for controlling the emission of nitrogen oxide. Abstract: Two groups of different gas flow rate experiments were conducted with a benchtop concentric cylinder dielectric barrier discharge reactor to investigate how the change of the gas flow rate affects the effectiveness of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) treatment flue gas pollutants. Results show that the gas flow rate has little influence on nitrogen oxides removal effectiveness when the input energy density is identical. Thus when dealing with relatively high gas flow rates, the residence time needn’t be worried too much, if the equipment could deposit enough energy into the gas. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The construction of a power plant using a 660 MWe supercritical circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler with co-combustion of coal and gangue has been proposed in China. Therefore, this study simulated the distribution law and transformation mechanism of sulfur-containing phases using three low-calorific samples of gangue and coal mixtures under different conditions, based on the thermodynamic simulation software HSC Chemistry. The results showed that sulfur low in calorific value coal is mainly converted into gas phase SO2, solid phase alkali metal sulfate (Na2SO4 and K2SO4), and alkaline earth metal sulfate (CaSO4 and MgSO4) in an oxidizing atmosphere. Under a reductive atmosphere, sulfur in coal is mainly converted into gaseous H2S, COS (Carbon oxysulfide), and solid FeSx. With an increase in the O/C ratio, the distribution curve of sulfur-containing substances contracted to lower temperatures. It was established that the sulfur fixation capacity of coal ash depends on the relative amounts of basic oxides and sulfur present in it. The Flame pyrolysis method used to synthesize carbon nanotubes was studied in this work. In order to improve the quality of synthesized carbon nanotubes, it is important to change the corresponding natures of the catalyst. Two catalyst preparation methods, namely, the sol-gel method and the impregnation method, were compared in this experiment. The properties of the catalyst are analyzed in depth by energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), x-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature program reduction (TPR). The generation of carbon nanotubes was systematically analysed through scanning electron microscope (SEM), molecule dynamics (MD), raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results show that the catalysts prepared by the impregnation method are stickier, dispersed and easier to dip onto the probe or substrate, which is beneficial for the large-scale production of carbon tubes. The specific surface area of alumina is larger and the iron and molybdenum oxide are more evenly dispersed on the surface of alumina. The carbon nanotubes produced by the catalysts prepared by impregnation method are flatter and have less impurities. The ratio of ID/IG+ is 29.7% lower than that of the sol-gel method in the Raman spectra. The TEM statistics show that the average diameter of the carbon tubes decreases by 23.3%. Therefore, the impregnation method can improve the quality of carbon nanotubes in the case of a similar degree of difficulty in the preparation of the catalyst. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Catalytic coal combustion is a promising technology to realize efficient utilization of coal, however, the catalysis in the coal combustion process is unclear. This paper focused on the effects of two type catalysts (metal oxides and metal compounds) on the combustion reactivity of lignite, bituminous coal and anthracite using thermogravimetric analyzer, and discussed the catalytic mechanisms combining with catalytic thermal decomposition and catalytic char combustion. All catalysts decreased the ignition temperature and burnout temperature of coals to the extent of 0.25–81.25 °C, 24.75–73.25 °C, and increased the exothermic values. The catalytic effect was influenced by coal rank and had the greatest promoting effect on anthracite. Besides, the pyrolysis conversion rates of coals were increased by catalysts, resulting in ignition advance and made the subsequent reaction easier. The results of catalytic char combustion showed that both catalysts significantly reduced the ignition temperature of char, the Na 2 CO 3 had the best catalytic effect on fixed carbon combustion, while CaO mainly affected the release of volatile matter. Finally, the catalytic mechanism in coal combustion was discussed. The article discussed the influence on furnace temperature distributions, combustion characteristics, and NOx release when hydrogen, coal, and sludge co-firing in a 660 MW power plant boiler by CFD. Non-premixed combustion model was chosen as the gas combustion model. As the height of the hydrogen injection position rises, the temperature difference in the main combustion region decreases from 297.22 K to 94.72 K. The co-combustion of hydrogen inhibits solid fuels' combustion. As hydrogen nozzles' height decreases, the NOx mass at the furnace outlet increases from 98.41 % to 160.38 %. When the excess air coefficient changes from 1.15 to 1.35, the temperature in the main combustion region significantly increases, while the temperature in the upper furnace decreases, and the heat flux of the main combustion region increases by 11.10 %, the heat flux of the total furnace decreases by 1.39 %, the NOx mass at the furnace outlet increases by 31.67 %. The optimum co-combustion method is injecting the hydrogen from the top hydrogen nozzles and the excess air coefficient is 1.15, the overall impact on the furnace is minimal in this way. The fundamental reason hydrogen affects co-combustion is the fuel characteristics' difference between hydrogen and solid fuels. The co-combustion of sludge and coal has advantages such as utilizing the energy in sludge and reducing the treatment difficulty of sludge ash. Due to a wide source of sewage, the distributions of trace elements in co-combustion ash may differ from coal ash. Under laboratory conditions, the study examined the speciation distribution by the BCR method and evaluated the environmental risks and health risks of six typical trace elements in the co-combustion ash of sludge and coal. There is a significant difference in trace elements between sludge ash and coal ash, the highest content of heavy metals in coal ash and sludge ash is chromium (141.4 mg/kg) and zinc (1455.4 mg/kg), respectively. Coal ash has a lower heavy metal content and effective fraction than sludge ash, and coal ash is more stable. Risk assessment code analysis shows that most elements in co-combustion ash are at the low risk level, and when the blending ratio reaches 50%, chromium is at the medium risk level. According to Nemerow pollution index, cadmium can cause pollution to the environment when pH < 7.5. The risk of heavy metals in co-combustion ash on human health is at the acceptable level. This study investigates the effects of the ammonia blend ratio and the number of nozzle layers on boiler combustion characteristics and NOx emissions by the computational fluid dynamics simulation method. The conclusions indicate that, as ammonia is injected from a single-layer of secondary air nozzles, with the ammonia blend ratio increases, the combustion temperature decreases, when the blend ratio is 60%, the combustion temperature decreases by about 300 K. When ammonia is injected into the furnace from multiple-layers of nozzles, and under the premise of the same ammonia blend ratio, the overall impact on the furnace temperature is smaller than that of ammonia entering from a single-layer of nozzles. When the blend ratio of the ammonia is 40%, the NOx emission of ammonia entering the furnace from two layers of secondary air nozzles is about 22.47% higher than when it is injected into the furnace from a single-layer of nozzles. After raising the ammonia mixing ratio, the NOx at the furnace outlet shows an inverted-parabola change, which first decreasing and then increasing. A series of Cu-Fe catalysts with fixed metal content and variable ratios of ZSM-5 and CNTs were used to investigate NO removal in a plasma-catalyst system at low temperature. The catalysts were characterized by BET, XRD, TGA, XPS, H 2 -TPR and NH 3 -TPD. The results showed that the catalyst promoted the NO conversion rate from only plasma system, and 1Z3C catalyst exhibited the best NO conversion rate of 86.1% at 191.5 J/L. Composite support promoted the catalytic activity at low temperature, and greatly improved the Cu 2+ and Fe 3+ concentration on the 1Z3C catalyst, both Cu 2+ and Fe 3+ contributed greatly to catalytic reaction of NO conversion. Chemisorbed oxygen also acted as activated sites for NO conversion. When the input energy was 75 J/L, the NO conversion rate decreased from 70% to 41% with adding 500 ppm SO 2 , which decreased with increasing SO 2 concentration, while generation rate of SO 3 was less than 0.2% in the combination system. In the presence of SO 2 , copper sulfate species, ferric sulfate species and ammonium sulfates generated on the surface of catalyst, which consumed Lewis acid sites and blocked the active sites, decreasing NO conversion rate. A series of Mn-Fe/ZSM-5 catalysts with varying amounts of iron doping were prepared via the impregnation method and their catalytic activities in Fast SCR and NO oxidation evaluated. It was found that NOx (NO + NO 2 ) conversion using the iron-modified catalysts was obviously improved, probably due to the interaction between manganese and iron. Mn-Fe/ZSM-5 with a molar ratio of Fe/Mn = 0.49 exhibited the highest activity, achieving > 96.15% NOx conversion at 100 °C and stabilizing at about 100% conversion at between 150 and 250 °C. The properties of the catalysts were characterized using ICP, BET, XRD, H 2 -TPR, NH 3 -TPD and XPS techniques. XRD analysis revealed that the coexistence of manganese and iron oxides promoted the dispersion of active components and lowered the crystallinity, while the XPS results showed that iron doping increased the ratio of Mn 4 + , increasing levels of oxygen vacancy and lattice oxygen, thereby facilitating the oxidation of NO to NO 2 and ultimately accelerating the Fast SCR process. However, excessive iron loading can lead to the agglomeration of active components. Furthermore, Mn-Fe (0.490) /ZSM-5 also exhibited superior performance in terms of NO oxidation, with the maximum NO oxidation rate of 55.88% recorded at 300 °C, indicating the former's potential as a pre-oxidation catalyst for the Fast SCR reaction. A series of CuCe catalysts were prepared by an incipient-wetness impregnation method for selective catalytic reduction of NO in combination with dielectric barrier discharge plasma. The effect of the Cu/Ce mass ratio on NO and NO x (NO + NO 2 ) removal efficiency has been studied as a function of energy density at ambient temperature. The catalyst samples were characterised by BET, XRD, XPS, H 2 -TPR and NH 3 -TPD. The results indicated that catalyst addition enhances NO and NO x removal based on only the plasma process. The CuCe catalysts exhibited higher reduction performance compared with the 4 wt.% Cu or 4 wt.% Ce catalysts, and the catalyst with 4 wt.% Cu and 4 wt.% Ce showed the best reduction performance with the highest NO and NO x removal efficiencies of 90.7% and 80.1%, respectively, at an energy density of 367 J/L. The interactions between Cu and Ce increase oxygen migration to form oxygen vacancies, which facilitates the oxidation of NO to NO 2 , and NO 2 favours NO removal via a fast selective catalytic reduction reaction at low temperature. In addition, the CuCe catalysts exhibited low thermal stability, thereby facilitating the catalytic reduction of NO at ambient temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

• SO 2 inhibited the Hg0 removal, while SO 3 promoted the Hg0 removal. • SO 3 was more easily adsorbed on the surface of the catalyst compared with SO 2. • The adsorbed SO 3 served as a new active site for Hg0 removal. • SO 3 adsorption was promoted at high temperature, improving Hg0 removal. The Cu/ZSM-5 was used to study the effects of SO 3 on mercury removal. The addition of SO 2 decreased the Hg0 removal efficiency but the efficiency increased from 82% to 95% after 21 ppm SO 3 was introduced at 200 °C. The inhibition effect of SO 2 on mercury removal was weakened at 400 °C and the promotion effect of SO 3 on mercury removal was enhanced significantly. HgSO 4 was the main mercury species formed on the catalyst in the presence of SO 3. The in-situ FTIR results showed a large number of S-related peaks were generated on the surface of the catalyst with SO x (SO 2 and SO 3). The peak of adsorbed SO 2 weakened when SO 2 and SO 3 coexisted in the reaction atmosphere. This is due to the SO 3 inhibiting the adsorption of SO 2. The peak of adsorbed SO 3 was the most obvious and was then gradually consumed after Hg0 introduced. Meanwhile, the peak of sulphate appeared on the surface of the catalyst. This indicated SO 3 preferentially adsorbed on the catalyst to form active sites for oxidizing Hg0 to HgSO 4. The adsorption of SO 3 on the catalyst was promoted at 400 °C, compared with 200 °C, which directly contributed to the enhancement of Hg0 removal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objectives: This study was aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of vortioxetine hydrobromide in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD)., Methods: One hundred and eighty patients with the newly diagnosed depression in our hospital between August 2018 and August 2019 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 90 each group. The control group was treated with escitalopram, and the observation group was treated with voltaxetine. The efficacy and adverse reactions were evaluated by the Hamilton Depression scale-17 (HAMD-17), Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS), Perceived Deficits Questionnaire-Depression (PDQ-D), and treatment emergent symptom scale (TESS) before treatment and at the end of the 8th and 24th week after treatment., Results: At the end of the 8th and 24th week after treatment, the HAMD-17 scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05); at the end of the 8th and 24th week after treatment, the PDQ-D and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the above scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).
