Current internet environment has demanded the need for cloud computing technology in handling large information. The paper’s central theme is to evaluate the effectiveness of resources in managing scientific processes in a cloud environment by scheduling, capacity planning, and auto-scaling. Current systems have been linked with high costs because of disturbance of the flow, unsuccessful jobs, inability to meet certain cutoff times and long make span times. Therefore, to overcome these challenges, this research presents the Conditional Random Field-based Incremental Auto-scaling algorithm (CRF-IASA) to improve the cloud efficiency. The CRF-IASA uniquely leverages CRF’s ability to model complex dependencies and interrelationships in resource management. Unlike traditional methods, which often rely on static or heuristic-based decision-making, CRF-IASA dynamically adapts to workload changes by effectively balancing data, memory, and CPU demands. The evaluation of the CRF-IASA is done with a help of the following sample workflows: A Cybershake 1000, Montage 1000, LIGO 1000 and Epigenome 997. Thus, according to the values obtained in the experiment, it is proved that the proposed auto-scaling algorithm is effective with the identified evaluation criteria: This is the total time needed to complete all activities, the energy used in the computing process, the costs incurred, and the rate at which the activities are completed in a schedule. Therefore, the study demonstrates the potential of utilizing CRF-IASA to obtain increased results concerning cloud performance and resource’s consumption with less costs in a more adaptable way.

Performance and security are two critical functions of wireless ad-hoc networks (WANETs). Network security ensures the integrity, availability, and performance of WANETs. It helps to prevent critical service interruptions and increases economic productivity by keeping networks functioning properly. Since there is no centralized network management in WANETs, these networks are susceptible to packet drop attacks. In selective drop attack, the neighboring nodes are not loyal in forwarding the messages to the next node. It is critical to identify the illegitimate node, which overloads the host node and isolating them from the network is also a complicated task. In this paper, we present a resistive to selective drop attack (RSDA) scheme to provide effective security against selective drop attack. A lightweight RSDA protocol is proposed for detecting malicious nodes in the network under a particular drop attack. The RSDA protocol can be integrated with the many existing routing protocols for WANETs such as AODV and DSR. It accomplishes reliability in routing by disabling the link with the highest weight and authenticate the nodes using the elliptic curve digital signature algorithm. In the proposed methodology, the packet drop rate, jitter, and routing overhead at a different pause time are reduced to 9%, 0.11%, and 45%, respectively. The packet drop rate at varying mobility speed in the presence of one gray hole and two gray hole nodes are obtained as 13% and 14% in RSDA scheme.

Solanum anguivi L. is a rare ethnomedicine widely used in India but consumption rate is less due to its browning reaction which leads to bitterness especially by children and young adults. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the influence of wet digestion methods on Iron and Vitamin C estimation method from five different combined juices such as Solanum anguivi L. (S); Emblica officinalis (E) juice; S1:E3; S1:E1 and S3:E1. The samples were digested with different acid digestion methods namely method A (aqua regia), method B (only nitric acid), method C (only hydrochloric acid) and method D (Non digestion) determined by atomic absorption technique; to recommend the most efficient digestion method that gains the highest analyte recovery. The vitamin C was also determined by three different methods of 2,4-dinitrophenyl hydrazine, Iodometric method and 2,6-dicholorophenol indophenol method to find the accurate results. Present study revealed that method A (aqua regia) obtained the highest analyte recovery; similarly, vitamin C was also found as high where determined by 2,6-dicholorophenol indophenols respectively. Noodle was prepared from composite flour of various combinations of millet flour blend, whole wheat flour and soy flour and evaluated the influence of millet flour blend on physical, functional, nutritional, cooking and organoleptic characteristics and in vivo glycemic response. The height/width ratio, geometric mean diameter, expansion ratio and specific length of extrudates, hydration capacity, hydration index, swelling capacity and swelling index, water uptake ratio, bulk density, cooking volume expansion, gruel solid loss, geometric mean diameter on cooking and elongation index of cooked noodles, total carbohydrate, starch, amylose, amylopectin content were decreased significantly (p<0.05) whereas fiber and amylose/amylopectin ratio increased significantly (p<0.05) with increase in level of millet flour blend incorporation. The cooking time of developed noodles from composite flour (15 - 18 minutes) was significantly (p<0.01) higher than the cooking time of branded noodles (9.3 minutes). The mean overall organoleptic score of developed noodle from composite flour was in the range of highly acceptable criteria (20-25). By all means, the 20% level of millet flour blend incorporation was found to be acceptable. The mean glycemic index and load of developed noodle from standard composite flour and 20% millet flour blend incorporated noodle was significantly (p<0.01) lower than the branded noodle. Information Communication and Technology (ICT) integration has influenced various fields and it has brought various changes. This article examines; How ICT has influenced the Teaching-Learning Process (TLP) in engineering education? In the midst of the pandemic situation caused by the Covid–19 virus, the usage of ICT tools helps in continuing the engineering education from home online. However, there exist a few difficulties like teacher’s adaptability, availability of tools, and content delivery. This paper identifies the integration of ICT in delivering the content of programming branches, circuital, and non-circuital engineering subjects. This survey article emphasizes the usage of various ICT tools used in teaching descriptive, analytical, and laboratory-based subjects through online mode in an efficient way. Also, a comprehensive survey is conducted among teachers and students as well; the responses are analyzed in attaining the Program Outcomes (PO). The results of attaining the PO before and after the online mode of education using ICT tools are compared and the significant features are elaborately discussed. This helps the faculty members of engineering education to get an overview of the pros and cons of using ICT tools.
