In view of the problem that it is difficult to accurately describe the dynamic working principle of the system and reproduce the motion control function of the real system when the virtual reality technology of the complex system is applied, the hydraulic six degrees of freedom (six-DOF) parallel mechanism with high order, nonlinear, strong coupling and other characteristics was used as the research object, and a virtual reality technology using user datagram protocol (UDP) was proposed between the professional software MATLAB and the virtual reality development software Unity3D. Firstly, the three dimensions (3D) model of the parallel mechanism was built in the 3D modeling software SolidWorks, and the model was imported into the Unity3D software and the joint constraints were applied on it. Secondly, the inverse kinematics of the parallel mechanism was solved, and the joint simulation model of the MATLAB software and the AMESim software was established. Finally, through UDP, Two-way real-time data interaction was realized between the MATLAB software and the Unity3D software, and the virtual mechanism was drove to action. The results show that the actions of the virtual mechanism are fully conformed to the working principle of the real physical system, and the virtual reality technology based on the UDP data-driven is good accuracy and real-time performance. Abstract Thermal imaging technology has become increasingly popular for various applications, including industrial monitoring, building automation, and medical diagnostics. However, existing thermal imaging systems often come with high costs and limited connectivity options. In this paper, we propose a method to address these challenges by utilizing the ESP8266 microcontroller to create a thermal imaging system that can measure thermal pixel values, transfer the data wirelessly using the ESP8266’s networking capabilities and display the pixel data in real-time on a Thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal (TFT) display. The objective is to establish a seamless and real-time transfer of thermal images within a local network environment. User datagram protocol (UDP) supports transmission via broadcast and multicast, making it highly efficient for delivering data to multiple clients or devices on a network. It allows a single UDP packet to be simultaneously sent to multiple destinations, enhancing its effectiveness. This feature simplifies the implementation of network protocols and applications, reducing their overall complexity. UDP is particularly well-suited for devices with limited resources, such as microcontrollers or embedded systems, where memory and computing power are constrained. Experimental results demonstrate the successful transmission and display of thermal pixel data between the ESP8266 microcontrollers using the UDP protocol. The project utilizes the Arduino framework along with ESP8266WiFi and UDP libraries to enable network connectivity and UDP communication. The sender and receiver devices are connected to the same local network, guaranteeing efficient and low-latency transmission of thermal pixel data. The system achieves real-time communication within a radius of approximately 15–18 m, ensuring immediate visualization of thermal images on connected displays. By minimizing latency, the system enables a seamless and instantaneous viewing experience offering seamless and instantaneous image visualization for the users.

This article presents the algorithmic support of the external monitoring and routing system of autonomous mobile robots. In some cases, the practical usage of mobile robots is related to the solution of navigation problems. In particular, the position of ground robots can be secured using unmanned aerial vehicles. In the proposed approach based on the video image obtained from an external video camera located above the working area of mobile robots, the location of both robots and nearby obstacles is recognized. The optimal route to the target point of the selected robot is built, and changes in its working area are monitored. Information about the allowed routes of the robot is transmitted to third-party applications via network communication channels. Primary image processing from the camera includes distortion correction, contouring and binarization, which allows to separate image fragments containing robots and obstacles from background surfaces and objects. Recognition of robots in a video frame is based on the use of a SURF detector. This technology extracts key points in the video frame and compares them with key points of reference images of robots. Trajectory planning is implemented using Dijkstra’s algorithm. The discreteness of the trajectories obtained using the algorithm for finding a path on the graph can be compensated for on board autonomous mobile robots by using spline approximation. Experimental studies have confirmed the efficiency of the proposed approach both in the problem of recognition and localization of mobile robots and in the problem of planning safe trajectories.

Aiming at the problem that the traditional software protocol stack can not meet the performance requirement of high-speed data transmission, this paper presents a design scheme of UDP protocol stack based on hardware acceleration. The design is based on the characteristics of efficient and parallel hardware to implements the UDP/IP protocol stack. and solves the problem of poor performance of high-speed data transmission. The actual test shows that the design can reach the highest level. To 9.32 Gbps transmission rate, it meets the need of 10 Gbps bandwidth downlink speed processing. Motion assistance exoskeletons are designed to support the joint movement of people who perform repetitive tasks that cause damage to their health. To guarantee motion accompaniment, the integration between sensors and actuators should ensure a near-zero delay between the signal acquisition and the actuator response. This study presents the integration of a platform based on Imocap-GIS inertial sensors, with a motion assistance exoskeleton that generates joint movement by means of Maxon motors and Harmonic drive reducers, where a near zero-lag is required for the gait accompaniment to be correct. The Imocap-GIS sensors acquire positional data from the user's lower limbs and send the information through the UDP protocol to the CompactRio system, which constitutes a high-performance controller. These data are processed by the card and subsequently a control signal is sent to the motors that move the exoskeleton joints. Simulations of the proposed controller performance were conducted. The experimental results show that the motion accompaniment exhibits a delay of between 20 and 30 ms, and consequently, it may be stated that the integration between the exoskeleton and the sensors achieves a high efficiency. In this work, the integration between inertial sensors and an exoskeleton prototype has been proposed, where it is evident that the integration met the initial objective. In addition, the integration between the exoskeleton and IMOCAP is among the highest efficiency ranges of similar systems that are currently being developed, and the response lag that was obtained could be improved by means of the incorporation of complementary systems. In view of problems of low automation degree and high time and labor cost of static test method of mine personnel positioning accuracy, a mine personnel positioning accuracy verification system based on Hall sensing was proposed. The system uses public UDP interface to interface with different types of positioning base stations of different manufacturers, uses proprietary UDP interface to transmit related ranging messages of Hall sensing device, and uses production-consumption model to collect, parse and store communication data. The Hall ranging result is used as the reference data, and the node positioning distance information collected by positioning base station is compared in real time, so as to verify accuracy of the positioning system. The test results show that the minimum ranging error rate of the system itself is 0.80%, the maximum error rate is 3.30%, and the average error rate is 1.38%, which is much lower than the 5% error rate allowed by the personnel positioning accuracy verification system. The results of accuracy verification application example show that the system can effectively verify the accuracy of positioning system.

Savremene namenske radio-komunikacije zasnivaju se na internet protokolu. Efikasnost namenskih radio-komunikacija zavisi od propusnosti. Na propusnost namenskih radio-komunikacija utiču i transportni protokoli. U radu je analizirana propusnost transportnih protokola TCP (Transport Control Protocol) i UDP (User Datagram Protocol) u VF (visoko frekvencijskim) i VVF (vrlo visoko- frekvencijskim) namenskim radio-komunikacijama sa očekivanim vremenima kašnjenja i verovatnoćom greške po paketu podataka. Ocenjena je mogućnost njihove primene u namenskim radio-komunikacijama. Pri tome je uzet u obzir uticaj sledećih faktora: vreme povratnog puta, veličina paketa podataka, veličina prozora i verovatnoća greške po paketu podataka. Transportni protokol sa većom propusnošću pogodniji je za primenu u namenskim radio-komunikacijama. Veća propusnost transportnih protokola znači da je veća i propusnost namenskih radio-komunikacija.

Because of an abundance of nodes in highway monitoring system and high complexity of Highway Monitoring System, a UDP-based communication module in Highway Monitoring System was designed, which can ensure consistency of information between nodes by means of the control command standardization and real-time interaction based on UDP protocol. This paper presents the possibilities of broadcasting and dissemination of experimental data, obtained from direct real-time measurements of a physical objects - small turbojet engine MPM-20. The key factor of this data transfer is to minimize latency of the data transfer and computational overhead that may slow down or jam the control computer. This is why the usage of UDP protocol has been proposed. Since the utilization of the existing measuring aperture with both original hardware (HW) and software (SW) acquisition equipment is necessary, the proposed solution is not created using modifications of original HW and SW modules but the addition of newly created ones. Whereas the remote monitoring of the MPM-20 also requires audiovisual (A/V) contact, we also propose a module to transfer A/V as a stream from an array of IP cameras that are capturing the area of the object MPM-20 in the real time. Until recently, the Department of Communication at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona handled this problem in an old-fashioned analog and manual way. After migration to iptv, the department designed the MRecIPTV software to record, store and access digital media content. Packet video will become a significant portion of emerging and future wireless/Internet traffic. However, network congestion and wireless channel error yields tremendous packet loss and degraded video quality. In this paper, we propose a new complete user datagram protocol (CUDP), which utilizes channel error information obtained from the physical and link layers to assist error recovery at the packet level. We propose several maximal distance separable (MDS) code-based packet level error control coding schemes and derive analytical formulas to estimate the equivalent video frame loss for different versions of user datagram protocol (UDP). We validate the proposed packet coding and CUDP protocol using MPEG-coded video under various Internet packet loss and wireless channel profiles. This work addresses the design and implementation of a wireless connection for the remote control of the joints of a redundant 3-DoF 1 1 DoF: Degrees of Freedom. manipulator robot. To this end, low-cost devices able to establish master/slave connections are used as closed control loops to calculate both control in the master device and actuation in the slave devices. To test the performance of this wireless connection, classic robot controllers are designed, simulated, analyzed, implemented, and compared through a decentralized structure. The platform Raspberry Pi and UDP 2 2 UDP: User Datagram Protocol. protocol are used to obtain and process data sent to the robot control system, and to send control signals to the robot actuators. Berkeley UNIX® 4.2BSD is an operating system that provides alternative ways for processes to communicate with each other. User processes may choose intermachine communications media, network protocols, addressing families, and styles of communication. In particular, user processes may use datagram or stream communication. In this paper we present a study of the performance achieved by user processes when using the IPC mechanisms as implemented in Berkeley UNIX 4.2BSD in Ethernet based environments. This study not only assesses the impact that different processors, network hardware interfaces, and Ethernets have on the communication across machines, but also the effect of the loading of the hosts and communication media that participate in the interprocess communication mechanism. Our measurement highlight the ultimate bounds on performance that may be achieved by user process applications communicating across machines, and serve as a guide in designing performance critical applications. Moreover, we present a detailed timing analysis of the dynamic behavior of the TCP/IP and the UDP/IP net- work communication protocols' implementation in Berkeley UNIX 4.2BSD. This analysis sheds light on architectural constraints of UNIX, on the tradeoffs encountered when software and hardware perform the same actions on data (e.g., checksums) and when several buffering schemes coexist at different levels in a system.
