The Royal Library of Belgium (KBR) offers access to its digitized newspaper collections through the BelgicaPress platform. This online library contains 135 Belgian newspapers published daily in French, Dutch, and German from 1814-1950 (and until 1970 for Le Soir). The collection reflects the ideological polarization of the political and media fields in Belgium. KBR also provides access to periodicals through the BelgicaPeriodicals platform, and has created CAMille, a digital platform for exploring digitized newspapers and documenting the history of journalism in Belgium. These resources are being used to study the history of Belgian journalism, including the visibility of women journalists and the analysis of journalistic genres and gender.
