1. Project-based nursing model on cognition and compliance of fall prevention in high-risk fall patients

Abstract

ObjectiveTo analyze the improvement of fall prevention cognition and compliance among high-risk fall patients after the introduction of project-based nursing model. MethodsA total of 86 patients admitted in the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the digital table, with 43 patients in each group. The control group implemented the routine nursing scheme, and the observation group implemented the project-based nursing mode. At the end of the first week after the intervention, the self-developed fall prevention cognitive questionnaire and fall prevention compliance behavior investigation table were used to investigate the fall prevention cognitive system and the compliance of the patients. ResultsThe cognitive score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group （P＜0.05）. The score of fall prevention compliance in the observation group was higher than that in the control group［（81.7±3.7）pointsvs（63.8±2.4） points,t=26.615, P＜0.01］. The nursing satisfaction in observation group was significant higher than that in control group (95.4%vs79.1%, χ2=5.108, P＜0.05). ConclusionThe application of the project-based nursing model to the high-risk fall population can improve the individuals fall prevention cognitive system and improve their compliance to fall prevention behavior.

Abstract

In this paper, an energy system with high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC) as the core was proposed and analyzed, and the all-vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) was used as the energy storage device, which made up for the defects of the system in meeting the load demand. The working principle and output performance of HT-PEMFC and VRFB were analyzed. At the same time, the relevant evaluation indicators were determined to explore the optimal configuration of the system, and the relationship between the fuel cell load rate and operating efficiency was analyzed. The upstream hydrogen consumption was also taken into consideration. The configuration optimization of hybrid energy system with fuel cell as the main supply power was discussed. The results show that when the fuel cell load rate is 22% and total efficiency is 41%, the total annual cost is the minimum. Compared with the full load condition, the system investment cost is increased by 212.5%, but the fuel cost is decreased by 41.7%. The overall system gain is obvious.

Abstract

Drying process is ubiquitous and represents one of the most energy-intensive processes in varieties of agricultural, residential and industrial applications. As an effective heat recovery technology, the heat pump has recently been applied in various drying systems to provide heating and cooling, exhibiting good energy-saving potentials. However, existing condensing-based heat pump drying (HPD) systems require to significantly cool humid air for dehumidification, deteriorating energy efficiency. In this paper, an absorption-based enclosed HPD system is proposed to achieve total waste heat recovery by combining liquid desiccant dehumidification and mechanical vapor recompression. This study focuses on a comprehensive thermodynamic modeling and performance evaluation of proposed absorption-based HPD system. Analysis results indicate that the proposed system can deliver an energy utilization ratio of 4.54 and specific moisture extraction rate of 4.25 kg/kWh under design operation conditions, which is 18.7% and 18.5% higher than the traditional HPD system, respectively. Additionally, an economic analysis is adopted to appraise the economic performance, and obtained results show that the annual investment and maintenance cost rates of proposed system increases by 5.05%, but the annual operation cost rate is reduced by 19.94% compared to the reference system. The payback period is around 18.5monthes with a project life cycle of 20 years, which indicates that the project is profitable.

Abstract

In view of problem that terminal water consumption of water supply system in a mining area cannot be determined, a design scheme of automatic constant-pressure water supply system was put forward. The system uses PLC and frequency converter to control water pump to ensure that the pump power and quantity can be automatically adjusted when terminal loads change greatly, so as to achieve constant pressure water supply. The practical application result shows that the system not only ensures the water pressure required by equipment cooling water system and dustproof water system, but also avoids sharp fluctuation of water pressure and reduces failure rate of equipments on working face.
