Background: Although fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is the most important factor affecting the life quality of young breast cancer patients, and it may be affected by the patient's personality, marital relationship and communication, there is a lack of research on the relationship between adult attachment, self-disclosure and FCR in patients. This study investigated the current situation of FCR in young breast cancer patients, its correlation with adult attachment and self-disclosure and its influencing factors, in order to predict the impact of adult attachment and self-disclosure of patients to spouse on FCR. Methods: A survey was conducted on 126 breast cancer patients at our hospital using the General Information Questionnaire (GIQ), Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form (FoP-Q-SF), Experiences in Close Relationships inventory (ECR), and Distress Disclosure Index (DDI). The study analyzed the status of FCR among young breast cancer patients and its correlation with adult attachment and self-disclosure, along with its influencing factors. Results: Among the 126 young breast cancer patients, 50 had a FoP-Q-SF score <34 (normal group), while 76 had a FoP-Q-SF score ≥34 (FCR positive group), with an FCR incidence rate of 60.32%. Univariate analysis showed statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of FoP-Q-SF score, ECR score, attachment anxiety score, attachment avoidance score, DDI score, age, educational level, employment status, per capita monthly income, and treatment method (p < 0.05). Correlation analysis revealed that FoP-Q-SF scores were positively correlated with attachment anxiety score, attachment avoidance score, ECR scores and negatively correlated with DDI scores (p < 0.05). Linear regression analysis indicated that age, per capita monthly income, treatment method, attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance and self-disclosure level were negative predictors of FoP-Q-SF scores in young breast cancer patients (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The incidence rate of FCR among young breast cancer patients is high. There is a positive correlation between adult attachment and the level of FCR, and a negative correlation between the level of self-disclosure and FCR. Patients with lower per capita monthly income, more complex treatment methods, higher level of attachment anxiety, higher level of attachment avoidance and lower DDI scores had higher FoP-Q-SF scores. Biobased epoxy resins are gaining attention as a renewable alternative to petroleum‐based resins. However, their inherent flammability requires flame‐retardant treatment. In this study, hexaphenoxycyclotriphosphazene (HPCP) and various synergists were utilized to improve the flame retardancy of lignin‐based epoxy resin (EP‐L). Results showed that (3‐aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES) had the most effective synergistic effect for HPCP to form a P/N/Si‐containing system, resulting in a compact crosslinked char layer. Upon the incorporation of HPCP and APTES (6∶1, 12 wt% of EP mass) into EP, a V‐0 classification was achieved in the UL‐94 vertical burning assessment, with a limiting oxygen index of 33.6% and a 47.77% decrease in the peak of heat release rate. This system minimally influenced the tensile strength of the composite (a 16.51% reduction), and maximumly increased its initial degradation temperature by 83 °C, compared with EP‐L. © 2023 Society of Industrial Chemistry. Shale gas is unconventional natural gas energy stored in shale, and is one of the important substitutes for conventional oil and gas resources. Since amorphous kerogen is the main component of shale organic matter and has a high degree of deformation ability, it is a key factor to improve shale gas recovery. As an emerging mining technology CS-EGR, the CO2 injection method replaces the hydraulic pressure method, thereby alleviating the greenhouse effect and energy crisis. The basic understanding of the microscopic mechanism of the multicomponent competitive adsorption and diffusion of the adsorbate in kerogen will provide a theoretical basis and guidance for further understanding of kerogen deformation and further CS-EGR. Starting from the summary of experimental research, this paper systematically summarizes the kerogen model used for kerogen deformation research and discusses the effects of adsorbate, load, moisture, temperature, pressure, and geological depth on different kerogen structures of different maturity. Helicobacter pylori (H pylori), a gastric bacterium, has been extensively studied for its association with gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer. However, recent evidence suggests its potential implications beyond the stomach, linking it to other gastrointestinal malignancies, such as esophageal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, gallbladder cancer, and colorectal cancer. In light of the expanding research landscape and the increasing interest in exploring H pylori broader role in gastrointestinal tumorigenesis, this comprehensive review aims to elucidate the relationship between H pylori and gastrointestinal tumors. This review encompasses recent epidemiological studies, research progress, and emerging perspectives, providing a comprehensive assessment of the relationship between H pylori and gastrointestinal tumors. This study investigated the potential protective effects of alpha-mangostin (α-MG) on ultraviolet B (UVB)-induced damage in HaCaT cells. The results showed that α-MG less than 10 μM had no significant cytotoxicity and exposure to UVB (50 mJ/cm2) reduced cell viability by approximately 50% compared with the control. The 2 μM α-MG upregulated cell viability and downregulated the expression of metal matrix proteases (MMPs). The results of flow cytometry, real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR), and immunoblotting manifested that α-MG relieved the extent of apoptosis and reduced the levels of apoptosis-associated mRNAs and proteins, respectively. The results of RT-qPCR and ELISA indicated that α-MG suppressed the generation of IL-6 and TNF-α. Furthermore, α-MG effectively downregulated activation of the UVB-induced nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways. Finally, lipidomics profiling demonstrated that α-MG significantly reduced UVB radiation-increased ceramide. Overall, these results demonstrated that α-MG has beneficial effects against photoaging by reducing the ceramide content and inhibiting MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The p.Thr61Ile (p.T61I) mutation in coiled‐coil‐helix–coiled‐coil‐helix domain containing 2 (CHCHD2) was deemed a causative factor in Parkinson's disease (PD). However, the pathomechanism of the CHCHD2 p.T61I mutation in PD remains unclear. Few existing mouse models of CHCHD2‐related PD completely reproduce the features of PD, and no transgenic or knock‐in (KI) mouse models of CHCHD2 mutations have been reported. In the present study, we generated a novel CHCHD2 p.T61I KI mouse model, which exhibited accelerated mortality, progressive motor deficits, and dopaminergic (DA) neurons loss with age, accompanied by the accumulation and aggregation of α‐synuclein and p‐α‐synuclein in the brains of the mutant mice. The mitochondria of mouse brains and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)‐derived DA neurons carrying the CHCHD2 p.T61I mutation exhibited aberrant morphology and impaired function. Mechanistically, proteomic and RNA sequencing analysis revealed that p.T61I mutation induced mitochondrial dysfunction in aged mice likely through repressed insulin‐degrading enzyme (IDE) expression, resulting in the degeneration of the nervous system. Overall, this CHCHD2 p.T61I KI mouse model recapitulated the crucial clinical and neuropathological aspects of patients with PD and provided a novel tool for understanding the pathogenic mechanism and therapeutic interventions of CHCHD2‐related PD. Density functional theory (DFT) was used to investigate the three-component coupling reactions of aldehydes, alkynes, and amines (A3 coupling) using N-heterocyclic carbene silver as the catalyst. This study reveals that the addition reaction between the catalyst N-heterocyclic carbene silver and phenylacetylene (PAE) forms Ag_PAE. Subsequently, one hydrogen atom of the Ag_PAE migrates to the nitrogen atom of the Amine. Thereafter, the amine aldehyde condensation reaction generates a molecule of water and an imine ion with (Path one) or without (Path two) another amine catalyst. Path one has a lower reaction barrier than Path two. Subsequently, the imine ion reacts with silver phenylacetylide to generate the A3 coupling reaction product propargylamine (PPA). Furthermore, the triple bond and −N3 group in PPA undergo a cycloaddition reaction and generate the final product (PR). The entire reaction is strongly exothermic, and, therefore, the reaction is easy to conduct. Moreover, conceptual density functional theory calculations confirm the reaction mechanism. Density functional theory has been used to elucidate the mechanism of Pd copolymerization of cyclopropenone with ethylene. The results reveal that introducing ethylene and cyclopropenone to Pd catalyst is thermodynamically feasible and generates the α,β-unsaturated ketone unit (UnitA). Cis-mode insertion and Path A1a are the most favorable reaction routes for ethylene and cyclopropenone, respectively. Moreover, cyclopropenone decomposition can generate CO in situ without a catalyst or with a Pd catalyst. The Pd-catalyzed decomposition of cyclopropenone exhibits a lower reaction barrier (22.7 kcal/mol) than its direct decomposition. Our study demonstrates that incorporating CO into the Pd catalyst can generate the isolated ketone unit (UnitB). CO is formed first; thereafter, UnitB is generated. Therefore, the total energy barrier of UnitB generation, accounting for the CO barrier, is 22.7 kcal/mol, which is slightly lower than that of UnitA generation (24.0 kcal/mol). Additionally, the possibility of copolymerizing ethylene, cyclopropenone, and allyl acetate (AAc) has been investigated. The free energy and global reactivity index analyses indicate that the cyclopropenone introduction reaction is more favorable than the AAc insertion, which is consistent with the experimental results. To alleviate the extremely intrinsical ill-posedness and nonlinearity of electromagnetic inverse scattering under high contrast and low signal to noise ratio (SNR), we propose a deep unfolding network based on generative adversarial network (GAN) under contrast source inversion (CSI) framework, termed UCSI-GAN. The method solves inverse scattering problems (ISPs) using end-to-end generating confrontation way by incorporating a physical model together with its iterative updating formulation into the internal architecture of GAN. First, the nonlinear iterative scheme is extended to a deep unfolding generator network, and the contrast source and contrast updates are mapped to each module of the generator network. Second, to stabilize the imaging process, we add a refinement network to each variable update. Finally, the discriminator network is employed to ensure the authenticity of reconstructed images. The generator network and discriminator network are alternately trained with a generative adversarial learning strategy to reconstruct the properties of the medium object. Numerical experiments demonstrated that the performance of UCSI-GAN is better than traditional CSI and state-of-the-art learning approaches under high contrast and low SNR condition. Electromagnetic inverse-scattering problems (ISPs) are concerned with determining the properties of an unknown object using measured scattered fields. ISPs are often highly nonlinear, causing the problem to be very difficult to address. In addition, the reconstruction images of different optimization methods are distorted which leads to inaccurate reconstruction results. To alleviate these issues, we propose a new linear model solution of generative adversarial network-based (LM-GAN) inspired by generative adversarial networks (GAN). Two sub-networks are trained alternately in the adversarial framework. A linear deep iterative network as a generative network captures the spatial distribution of the data, and a discriminative network estimates the probability of a sample from the training data.
