Karol Salva (1849 - 1913) published, printed, and edited mainly calendars, magazines and books by Slovak authors in his printing house, which he established in Ružomberok in 1888. During his active work in this field, he came into conflict with several of his contemporaries and collaborators. His disputes were of a confessional, conceptual-political and human nature, their cause was often his plainness and impulsiveness, they arose also because of his failure to communicate with his coworkers, his negligence, his inconsistency in printing or proofreading books, his failure to fulfil his obligations, and so on. Ľudmila Riznerová Podjavorinská (1872 - 1951), a writer, poet, prose writer and founder of modern Slovak literature for children, also had negative experience with him. Her feelings for him were deeper than just admiring and friendly. She came into contact with him several times in the work area. He approached her with a request to contribute to the almanac Od Šumavy k Tatrám (From Sumava to the Tatras), she published in magazines published by him and he published her debut collection Z vesny života (From the Vespers of Life). It is also evident from her experience that working with Salva was not entirely easy and straightforward. Salva often responded to her letters and questions only after a long period of time had passed, he did not inform her about the status of the work on the almanac or the prin ting of the collection, he constantly postponed publication dates, etc. When the prin ted sheets of her poems reached her, she discovered that, because of Salvo's inconsistent proofreading, her private notes had been printed on them as well. The study provides an analysis of the status of representatives in disputes with the company and, consequently, of the rules of representation in those disputes. The research problem addressed herein is based on the analysis of Article 210 § 1 and Article 253 of the Polish Code of Commercial Partnerships and Companies (CCPC). These rules govern issues related to the occurrence of disputes with the company and, in particular, the problem of the participation of the company’s representatives in those disputes. It should be clear that power of attorney plays a special role in the regulation of the Code of Commercial Partnerships and Companies. It is also widely applicable not only in the classic representation of entities or persons within the company, but also of the company itself. A representative is granted a special status due to the transactions in which he participates. One should also keep in mind the situations where a representative represents the company in classical activities besides Articles 210 or 253 CCPC. In that case, the representative’s authorisation is “activated” by the body usually having the power to do so (the management board) or by other representatives (statutory representatives or representatives appointed under a power of attorney, if the conditions laid down in Article 106 of the Polish Civil Code are met). Another situation is when they are appointed by a meeting of shareholders or partners (Articles 210 and 253 CCPC). Another feature of the special power of attorney is the use of it in disputes and not in legal transactions. It can therefore be concluded that the use of the word “representative” in the context of the provisions of the Polish Code of Commercial Partnerships and Companies may be of particular importance.

Physical activity of people plays increasingly more important role in scientific interest regarding way of life of contemporary society and it is very important factor in the process of officiating of the level of healthy and active life style, quality of life and health in general. Indispensable role of physical activity in the course of human life is permanently scientifically confirmed also in context of prevention of obesity. The development of a sedentary life style is the result of a socialization process towards physical inactivity developed in youth and continued into adulthood. At the present we face in our cultural settings apparent tendency: People are more and more individualized, loosing beneficial impacts of community activities, involved in passive way of life lacking proper level of physical activities and active sport. Some preliminary data of the time of being in progress research of physical activity of Czech population are presented to describe specific relation of sport and sedentary society. The Czech Republic is on the level of mass sport strongly influenced with the existence of new development of the city structure, including fitness centres, cycle paths, roller skates stadiums, beach volleyball playing fields, golf courses. General conclusion of the paper is concentrated on the question what Czech society expects from sport in given context of existing tendencies in mutual relation of sport and society.
