- Abstract
A biography of Andrés Segovia, a legendary classical guitarist, is presented. He was born in Linares, a Spanish village located in the Andalusian province in Jaén in 1893. He got a guitar at the age of 10 and he learned to play the instrument by himself. During his debut in Paris, France in 1924, he played before an audience which included composers Paul Dakas, Albert Roussel and Manuel de Falla. He toured around the world and played in several concerts during the course of his life.
