In this article the author discusses the invention and work of James Hansen, a senior National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) scientist and long-time global warming apologist. The author states that he is the first who achieved notoriety for describing the catastrophic effects of anthropogenic climate change. The author further discusses the paper "Perceptions of Climate Change" released by Hansen.
