The study's idea is to develop an impedance method of assessement of beat-to-beat variability of stroke volume output velocity (SVOV) at rest. An amplitude of systolic section of differential rheogramma ΔZ/Δt, (ohm/sec) reflects peak velocity of SVOV in impedance cardiography [1,2] and though it can be used as a marker of SVOV. Healthy volunteers's (n=27) the ΔZ/Δt amplitudes were measured automatically in 5 minutes period at the supine position, the same was done for patients 10-14 days after acute myocardial infarction (MI) (n=91). Then the SVOV value for each cardiac beat was calculated. An amplitude of mode, variation range and standard deviation were used to compare and analyze all measured SVOV's values in 5 minutes ( n = 282 ± 20 for each person). We've found the variability of SVOV in both groups, but there was a significant difference between the groups: in a group of MI patients complicated with I-II classes of heart failure the SVOV variability was lower than in a group of healthy persones.
