Abstract

The article presents information about the uses of fuzzy systems. Fuzzy sets are generally in better agreement with the human mind. Fuzzy sets are typically able to represent linguistic terms like warm, hot, high, and low. In many consumer products like washing machines and cameras, fuzzy controllers are used in order to obtain higher machine intelligence quotient and user-friendly products. A few interesting applications can be mentioned: control of subway systems, image stabilization of video cameras, and autonomous control of helicopters.
