Dynamic mechanical, dielectric, luminescent, and thermodynamic relaxation spectra of butadiene-styrene copolymers are compared. Dynamic mechanical results were obtained by torsion pendulum measurements, dielectric results by thermally stimulated depolarization current (TSDC) method. Thermostimulated luminescence (TSL) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) were used in the luminescence and thermodynamic cases, respectively. The variations of the relaxation spectra with the copolymer composition (block or statistical, styrene content, 1,4 or 1,2-addition butadiene) and, especially, the possibilities of the comparison of different relaxation spectra as a tool for analysis of the structural origin of the observed spectral peaks are discussed.
