Service choreographies describe the global communication protocols between services and testing these choreographies is an important task in the context of service-oriented architectures (SOA). Formal modeling of service choreographies makes a model-based testing (MBT) approach feasible. In this paper we present an MBT approach for SOA integration testing based on SAP proprietary choreography models called Message Choreography Models (MCM). In our approach, MCMs are translated into executable UML models using Java as action language. These UML models are used by a UML model execution engine developed by IBM for test generation and model debugging. Changes and extensions of enterprise information systems (IS) often engender their fragmentation and redundancy. In order to overcome these problems, service-driven IS development is considered as a potential solution to support IS evolution when guaranteeing its integrity and consistency. In this work we consider the integration of new information system services (ISS) into a legacy IS and, in particular, how the consistency of integrity constraints (IC) governing the IS and the new ISS has to be handled in order to guarantee their validation. In this paper we introduce a mechanism enabling applications to present information retrieved from different services, thus delivered with different structure, in a homogeneous and seamless fashion. This mechanism was an outcome of the research that took place within the European Integrated Project ASK-IT. The project developed an ambient intelligence framework which supports mobility impaired people on the move to access context-sensitive information dependant on user geographic location and the use case under consideration. The information derives from geographically dispersed web services and is rendered on mobile devices. The ASK-IT framework enables the presentation of information that covers a wide variety of domains which belong to the info-mobility scope (Points of Interest, Route Guidance etc.). Our approach deals with the integration of information-providing services, in order to facilitate the homogeneity of the final presentation of the content, through the end-user application. Current Learning Management Systems were typically conceived to offer a self-contained ˵one size fits all″ learning environment. Adaptive educational systems have been exhaustively studied and proposed to satisfy the different needs of students, but they have a poor presence in the LMS market due to integration issues. The emerging trend in the web is toward combining very specialised services into highly personalised environments, and LMS are no exception. This paper presents the Generic Service Integration architecture conceived to embed the use of any third party service as a regular resource in a learning experience. A course author includes a description with the required functionality and the appropriate service is searched and instantiated at enactment time. A case study is presented where Google Forms are used to implement assessment in a IMS Learning Design based course, and adapt its content based on the obtained results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the development of information and communication technologies, network convergence is inevitable trend. Because there are many heterogeneous networks in our daily lives, the heterogeneous network platform should provide the universal interfaces, regardless of the diversity of heterogeneous networks. A service abstract and integration method is proposed with corresponding interfaces in the paper. According to the application requirements, the platform can gain series of common service capability components from bottom heterogeneous networks by the abstract method. These service capabilities can be encapsulated to provide open interfaces with web service. The common services are also integrated to support new services or applications by the integration method. The paper presents an example of e-government service integration on a semantic basis, as it was designed within the Access-eGov research project and applied in the Schleswig-Holstein state government. The case study follows up the application of a requirements-driven approach for designing e-government service interfaces with respect to the informational needs of citizens and business users. Using this approach, a conceptual model for e-government services was developed, formalised in the WSML ontology language, and used for semantic annotation of the services as a basis for integration. A subsequent field test was focused on the evaluation of produced semantic description on the client-side system components as Annotation tool and the Personal Assistant Client.
