It explores the duration of the copyrights and how to know wheather it has expired or not. To know the termination of a copyright it is important to know wheather it was published or not. If it was published, one needs to know if the work was first published in the U.S. There are works which are unpublished and its copyright duration lasts for 70 years.

The article discusses the analysis of two letters between two inconsequential young men who were destined for distinguished careers. The content of the letters from Thomas Jefferson Withers to James H. Hammond in 1826 provides new avenues for historical interpretation. The letters, that constitute gay undertones and were deemed inappropriate by heterosexism, are useful in acquiring a better understanding of historical facts.

Part of the book "LOPE DE VEGA'S LA DESDICHIDA ESTEFANÍ: A CRITICAL, ANNOTATED EDITION OF THE AUTOGRAPH MANUSCRIPT," by Hugh W. Kennedy is presented. It presents notes which include cross found at the title page, title showing one of the two instances in the play Estephania as an alternate spelling for Estefania, and actors preceding the title page which show the role assignment of actors. It also discusses some of the translations and the omission of words in the manuscript.
