This paper proposes a novel environmental/economic load dispatch model by considering the fuel cost and emissionfunctions with uncertain co-efficients and the constraints of a ramp rate. The uncertain coefficients are represented by fuzzy numbers, and the model is known as fuzzy dynamic environmental/economic load dispatch (FDEELD) model. A novel weighted ideal point method (WIPM) is developed to solve the FDEELD problem. The FDEELD problem is first converted into a single objective fuzzy nonlinear programming by using the WIPM. A hybrid evolutionary algorithm with quasi-simplex techniques is then used to solve the corresponding single objective optimization problem. A method of disposing constraint and a fuzzy number ranking method are also applied to compare fuzzy weighted objective function values of different points. Experimental results show that FDEELD model is more practical; the algorithm and techniques proposed are efficient to solve FDEELD problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we propose an original three-dimensional (3D) computer-aided approach for surveying and mapping caves to get line drawings. By introducing 3D digital technologies into the line drawing, our approach has advantages in improving the drawing accuracy while cutting a lot of time costs. The 3D digital technologies are used to reconstruct accurate 3D models of real scenes. Then, the lines on the model surfaces are extracted by analyzing the model geometry. To demonstrate the advantages, we compare our approach with the traditional method usually used by archaeologists. Based on the Fuzzy mathematical principle, a fuzzy integral model on forecasting the cancerational tendency of hydatidiform mole is created. In this paper, attaching function, quantum standard, weight value of each factor, which causes disease, and the threshold value of fuzzy integral value are determined under condition that medical experts take part in. The detailed measures in this paper are taken as follows: First, each medical expert gives the score of the sub-factors of each factor based on their clinic experience and professional knowledge. Second, based on analyzing the feature of the scores given by medical experts, attaching functions are established using K power parabola larger type. Third, weight values are determined using method by the analytic hierarchy process[AHP] method. Finally, the relative information is obtained from the case histories of hydatidiform mole cases. Fuzzy integral value of each case is calculated and its threshold value is finally determined. Accurate rate of the fuzzy integral model(FIM) is greater than that of the maximum likelihood method (MLM) via diagnosing the history cases and for new cases, the diagnosis results of the FIM is in accordance with those of the medical experts.
