Aims: Peripheral immune cells infiltrating into the brain trigger neuroinflammation after an ischemic stroke. Partial immune cells reprogram their function for neural repair. Which immune cells promote ischemic brain recovery needs further identification. Methods: We performed single‐cell transcriptomic profiling of CD45high immune cells isolated from the ischemic hemisphere at subacute (5 days) and chronic (14 days) stages after ischemic stroke. Results: A subset of phagocytic macrophages was associated with neuron projection regeneration and tissue remodeling. We also identified a unique type of T cells with highly expressed macrophage markers, including C1q, Apoe, Hexb, and Fcer1g, which showed high abilities in tissue remodeling, myelination regulation, wound healing, and anti‐neuroinflammation. Moreover, natural killer cells decreased cytotoxicity and increased energy and metabolic function in the chronic stage after ischemic stroke. Two subgroups of neutrophils upregulated CCL signals to recruit peripheral immune cells and released CXCL2 to keep self‐recruiting at the chronic stage. INTRODUCTION: Diet is a modifiable metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) risk factor, but few studies have been conducted among Hispanic patients, despite the fact that MASLD prevalence and severity are highest among this ethnic subgroup. We aimed to identify prevalent dietary patterns among Hispanic patients using cluster analysis and to investigate associations with MASLD severity. METHODS: This cross-sectional analysis included 421 Harris County MASLD Cohort participants who self-reported Hispanic ethnicity and completed baseline food frequency questionnaires. All included patients had MASLD, diagnosed per standard clinical criteria. K-means analysis was used to identify clusters of patients sharing similar dietary habits. Multivariable adjusted logistic regression was used to estimate associations of dietary clusters with aminotransferases among the overall sample and with histologic steatosis, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, and fibrosis among a subsample of patients who underwent liver biopsy within 6 months of their baseline food frequency questionnaire (n 5 186). RESULTS: We identified 2 clusters: a plant-food/prudent and a fast-food/meat pattern. The fast-food/meat pattern was associated with 2.47-fold increased odds (95% confidence interval 1.31--4.65) of more severe steatosis than the plant-food/prudent pattern after adjusting for demographics, metabolic score, physical activity, and alcohol (q 5 0.0159). No significant association was observed between diet and aminotransferases, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, or fibrosis. DISCUSSION: Given the importance of sociocultural influences on diet, it is important to understand dietary patterns prevalent among Hispanic patients with MASLD. Background: Accurate clinical structural variant (SV) calling is essential for cancer target identification and diagnosis but has been historically challenging due to the lack of ground truth for clinical specimens. Meanwhile, reduced clinical-testing cost is the key to the widespread clinical utility. Methods: We analyzed massive data from tumor samples of 476 patients and developed a computational framework for accurate and cost-effective detection of clinically-relevant SVs. In addition, standard materials and classical experiments including immunohistochemistry and/or fluorescence in situ hybridization were used to validate the developed computational framework. Results: We systematically evaluated the common algorithms for SV detection and established an expert-reviewed SV call set of 1,303 tumor-specific SVs with high-evidence levels. Moreover, we developed a random-forest-based decision model to improve the true positive of SVs. To independently validate the tailored 'two-step' strategy, we utilized standard materials and classical experiments. The accuracy of the model was over 90% (92–99.78%) for all types of data. This paper proposed a circular flexible spherical joint to reduce the processing difficulty and manufacturing cost, and design a six-dimensional force sensor based on it. This paper analyzes the influence of the structural parameters of the flexible spherical joints on the accuracy of the six-dimensional force sensor by comparing the force mapping matrix of flexible spherical and ideal spherical joints. As the force mapping matrix is related to the stiffness matrix, the stiffness matrix of a six-dimensional force sensor based on a circular flexible spherical joint and the force mapping matrix of the generalized external force acting on the sensor was derived. Finally, a set of optimal parameters was selected to create a prototype and was verified through finite elements and experiments. The results show that the six-dimensional force sensor with a circular flexible spherical joint has good accuracy and provides some guidance for the design and analysis of the sensor. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a highly prevalent liver disease, with the highest prevalence observed in the U.S. among Hispanic/Latino adults. While physical activity and dietary behaviors have established protective associations with NAFLD and its severity, these associations have not been well-characterized in Hispanic/Latino adults. The purpose of this study was to assess the association of lifestyle behaviors with NAFLD and advanced fibrosis in US Hispanic/Latino adults. We selected all Hispanic/Latino adults from the 2017–2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). NAFLD was defined as CAP ≥285 dB/m, and advanced fibrosis as liver stiffness measurements ≥8.6 kPa. Multivariate-adjusted logistic regression models assessed associations of physical activity and sedentary behavior (Global Physical Activity Questionnaire), as well as diet quality (Healthy Eating Index [HEI]-2015) and total energy intake (24-hour recall) with NAFLD and advanced fibrosis. In Hispanic/Latino adults, the overall prevalence of NAFLD was 41.5%, while the prevalence of advanced fibrosis among those with NAFLD was 17.2%. We found that higher levels of physical activity and high diet quality were associated with lower risk of NAFLD. Compared to those reporting on average 0 metabolic equivalent (MET) hours/week of physical activity, participants reporting high levels of physical activity (≥32 MET hours/week) had 40% lower risk of NAFLD (Adjusted OR = 0.60, 95%CI 0.38, 0.93). High diet quality (HEI-2015) was associated with a 30% lower risk of NAFLD (Adjusted OR = 0.70, 95% CI 0.51, 0.97) and 72% lower risk of advanced fibrosis (Adjusted OR = 0.28, 95% CI 0.12, 0.66), as compared to those with low diet quality. In this population-based study, high levels of physical activity and diet quality were associated with lower risk of NAFLD in Hispanic/Latino adults. This study focuses on an investigation of the operating performance and pollutant emission characteristics of a micro gas turbine combined cycle using biomass gas, replacing natural gas. The models of both recuperative cycle micro gas turbines with a waste heat utilization system and a micro gas-steam turbine combined cycle system are established. When the gas turbine works at 100 kW and the same types of fuel are burnt, the recuperative cycle system consumes less fuel than the gas-steam combined cycle system. The electric efficiency of the recuperative cycle system can reach more than 29%, which is higher than 24% of the gas-steam combined system. The combined cycle thermal efficiency of the recuperative system is as high as 66%, with 36% waste heat utilization efficiency. The electrical efficiency of the recuperative cycle system in the biomass gas case decreases, while that of the gas-steam combined cycle system undergoes little change. When the gas turbine power output increases from 50 kW to 100 kW, the electrical efficiency and combined cycle thermal efficiency increases, but the thermal efficiency of waste heat utilization of recuperative cycle decreases, the NOX and SO2 emissions gradually rise. The COVID-19 pandemic's global scope and resulting social distancing measures have caused unprecedented economic, lifestyle, and social impacts to personal and relationship well-being. While lockdowns have prompted individuals to increase reliance on intimate partners for support, stressful external contexts can also interfere with partners' capacity to request and provide support, resulting in relationship dissatisfaction and even dissolution. Guided by a risk and resilience framework, this study examined the impact of perceived stress, social contextual factors, and dyadic coping on self-reported relationship satisfaction changes during the initial United States COVID-19 lockdown period. Participants were adults in romantic relationships who completed an online survey between April 13 and June 8, 2020. Overall, survey respondents (N = 1106) reported higher perceived stress levels than established population norms, and small but significant decrements in relationship satisfaction. Multivariable models revealed that higher perceived stress levels were associated with lower relationship satisfaction levels. Additionally, dyadic coping was found to moderate the impact of perceived stress on relationship satisfaction (B =.05, 95% CI =.02–.07), suggesting that engaging in dyadic coping buffered individuals from adverse effects of perceived stress on their relationships. Findings emphasize heightened stress experienced by individuals during the pandemic, potential detrimental effects of stress on couple relationships, and suggest dyadic coping may help buffer couples from adverse effects of the pandemic on their relationships. This study aims to improve the operational safety of reinforced concrete-ribbed beam bridge decks and prolong their service life by performing fatigue analysis of deck slabs reinforced with carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers (CFRP) and other materials. Based on a 16-m-span ribbed girder bridge, five test beams were designed: three reinforced (with CFRP cloth, CFRP mesh, and strip steel plates) and the remaining unreinforced. To simulate the real force of the bridge deck slabs, a PLS-500 electro-hydraulic servo dynamic and static test system was used and static load failure (monotonic graded loading) and fixed-point constant-amplitude fatigue loading tests (fatigue load of 0.515, loading frequency of 5 Hz) were performed. The main fatigue crack appeared when the number of load cycles exceeded 90% of the fatigue life. In the middle of fatigue, the reinforcement material can reduce the deterioration value of the bridge deck by approximately 50%. When it is reinforced at the cumulative damage degree of 0.4, its fatigue life extends by approximately 53.3–78.9%. The fatigue life of the bridge deck slabs reinforced with CFRP cloth or mesh was 22.1–25.6% more than that of those reinforced with strip steel plates. On‐site quantitative detection provides the opportunity for accurate and timely health care, clinical diagnosis, environmental monitoring, and food analysis. A variety of portable electrochemical detection instruments have been developed at present for on‐site quantitative detection use, including commercially available portable potentiostats, but the reality is that these electrochemical detection devices still have the problem of narrow output voltage range and detection current range, and their performance of output voltage resolution and detection current resolution is still unsatisfactory. The narrow voltage or current range makes it difficult for some chemical reactions with peaks outside the range to proceed, and the insufficiency of voltage resolution and detection current resolution are key parameters restricting the detection accuracy of existing devices. In this regard, it is urgent to carry out partial transformation of the existing device to increase the use range and detection accuracy of the device. In the current work, a smartphone‐based electrochemical on‐site quantitative detection device was developed. The device comprises a portable small potentiostat, a smartphone equipped with a specially designed Android electrochemical detection application, and a disposable sensor (NiONP modified screen‐printed electrode [SPE]). The potentiostat can realize electrochemical detection methods, including cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and differential pulse voltammetry. In addition, the potentiostat can output a potential range −2.047∼+2.047 V with a current detection sensitivity scale 1×10−8∼1×10−3 A, and the current detection range could reach ±10 nA∼±10 mA. Most importantly, the current detection resolution of the potentiostat can reach 0.003 % (3.125 pA on ±10 nA range). The smartphone was used for communicating with the potentiostat, setting detection parameters, and mapping voltammograms in real time. The SPE was modified with nickel oxide nanoparticles and perfluorinated resin solution, which were employed as sensors to convert and amplify the electrochemical current response during the on‐site quantitative detection. Results indicated that the device features excellent performance for the lactate detection. However, customizable data analysis tools that decipher intercellular communication from gene expression in association with biological functions are lacking. The authors have developed InterCellDB, a platform that allows a user‐defined analysis of intercellular communication using scRNA‐seq datasets in combination with protein annotation information, including cellular localization and functional classification, and protein interaction properties. The application of InterCellDB in tumor microenvironment research is exemplified using two independent scRNA‐seq datasets from human and mouse and it is demonstrated that InterCellDB‐inferred cell–cell interactions and ligand–receptor pairs are experimentally valid. NAFLD can occur in non-obese individuals with BMI < 25 kg/m2. Our goal was to examine the prevalence and clinical factors associated with non-obese NAFLD using vibration-controlled transient elastography (VCTE) with controlled attenuation parameter which estimates steatosis and fibrosis among US adults. We aggregated data from the 2017–2018 cycle of NHANES and included adults (age ≥ 20 years) with BMI < 25 kg/m2 with complete data for the survey, medical examination, and VCTE along with controlled attenuation parameter (CAP). We excluded participants with risks of other liver diseases. We considered patients to have non-obese NAFLD if CAP was >285 dB/m, or non-obese NAFLD fibrosis if this CAP criteria was met and liver stiffness was >8.6 kPa. We calculated the adjusted OR and 95% CI for associations with non-obese NAFLD using multivariable logistic regression. The prevalence of non-obese NAFLD was 6.2% and Asian Americans (12.2%) had the highest non-obese NAFLD prevalence. Clinical factors associated with non-obese NAFLD were advanced age and metabolic syndrome (ORadjusted = 6.8, 95% CI 3.0–15.5). In a separate model, we found elevated glucose (ORadjusted = 4.1, 95% CI 2.1–7.9), triglycerides (ORadjusted = 3.8, 95% CI 1.7–8.5), and truncal fat (100-unit increase ORadjusted = 1.07, 95% CI: 1.04–1.10) were associated with higher odds of non-obese NAFLD. Meanwhile, low physical activity (ORadjusted = 2.9, 95% CI 1.2–7.1) was also positively associated with non-obese NAFLD. Non-obese NAFLD is prevalent in the US and is highly associated with metabolic conditions and syndrome. As crude oil is an essential energy source, fluctuations in crude oil prices are crucial to economic development. Considering the great impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the financial market, we use the convolutional neural network (CNN) method to forecast oil prices with 24 price-related technical indicators, COVID-19 infections and the Baltic Dry Index (BDI). We further compare its prediction ability with traditional machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, support vector machines, and random forests. We find that the CNN has good forecasting ability both before and after the COVID-19 epidemic. In addition, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the BDI and COVID-19 epidemic-related indicators improved the model forecast accuracy from 2.2 to 10.99%. Background: The immune cell compartment of the mammalian brain changes dramatically and peripheral T cells infiltrate the brain parenchyma during normal aging. However, the mechanisms underlying age-related T cell infiltration in the central nervous system remain unclear. Results: Chronic inflammation and peripheral T cell infiltration were observed in the subventricular zone of aged mice. Cell-cell interaction analysis revealed that aged microglia released CCL3 to recruit peripheral CD8+ memory T cells. Moreover, the aged microglia shifted towards a pro-inflammation state and released TNF-α to upregulate the expression of VCAM1 and ICAM1 in brain venous endothelial cells, which promoted the transendothelial migration of peripheral T cells. In vitro experiment reveals that human microglia would also transit to a chemotactic phenotype when treated with CSF from the elderly. Conclusions: Our research demonstrated that microglia play an important role in the aging process of brain by shifting towards a pro-inflammation and chemotactic state. Aiming at the problem of fault diagnosis and classification of rolling bearing and gear of gearboxes, a novel method based on matrix distance features of Gramian angular field (GAF) image is proposed based on sliding window compressible GAF transformation. The method converts the one-dimensional fault signal into a two-dimensional feature matrix and constructs the discrimination matrix of each fault category by establishing the mean value of the feature matrix of a priori samples. For the new sampled signal, after converting it into a two-dimensional feature matrix, the feature matrix is obtained. The fault classification is carried out by using the matrix distance between feature matrix and the discrimination matrix of each category. The method is validated by the test data of Case Western Reserve University and the acoustic emission data from a gearbox test bench. In this study, Arundo donax Linnaeus was utilized as the biomass and a TH/DS (Tetra-n-butylammonium hydroxide/Dimethyl sulfoxide, C16H37NO/C2H6OS) system was employed to dissolve biomass cellulose. The optimal process for the preparation of Arundo donax L. biomass regenerated cellulose fiber was determined through process optimization. The physical properties and antimicrobial performance of the resulting products were analyzed. The results demonstrated that the physical indicators of biomass regenerated cellulose fiber, prepared from Arundo donax L. cellulose, met the requirements of the standard for Viscose Filament (Dry breaking strength ≥ 1.65 CN/dtex, Elongation at dry breaking 15.5–26.0%, and Dry elongation CV value ≤ 10.0%). Additionally, excellent antimicrobial properties were exhibited by the biomass regenerated cellulose fiber developed in this study, with antibacterial rates against Staphylococcus aureus and other three strain indexes meeting the Viscose Filament standards. Furthermore, high antiviral activity of 99.99% against H1N1 and H3N2 strains of influenza A virus was observed in the experimental samples, indicating a remarkable antiviral effect. • The best modification method of KH550 modified GO was determined. • MGO60 can be evently dispersed into cement slurry. • The influence of GO and MGO on the micro morphology of cement was studied, and their reinforcement mechanism on cement-based composites was revealed. In this study, the effect of the incorporation of GO and KH550 modified GO(MGO) on the microstructure, mechanical properties and hydration process of the cement-based composites has been discussed. It is observed that the MGO surface is grafted with the functional groups, which reduce the interlayer force, thus, the dispersibility in the cement paste is improved. In addition, compared with GO, the addition of MGO can further promote the hydration of cement, and optimize the content of the various hydration products owing to no impact on the types of the hydration products, thus, make the microstructure of the cement more uniform. At the same time, the incorporation of MGO can refine the CH crystal size, reduce the total porosity of the cement material, and promote the conversion of harmful pores to harmless pores, thus, making the cement-based materials more compact and effectively improving the mechanical properties. The purpose of this study was to assess the associations of PA and diet quality (Healthy Eating Index [HEI]-2015) with NAFLD and a subset with advanced fibrosis (F3–4) as assessed by vibration-controlled transient elastography with controlled attenuation parameter in a representative sample of U.S. adults. This cross-sectional analysis uses data from 2017-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. NAFLD was defined as controlled attenuation parameter ≥285 dB/m, and high likelihood of advanced fibrosis as liver stiffness measurements ≥8.6 kPa. Associations of HEI-2015 from 24-h dietary recalls and self-reported PA and sedentary behavior were estimated in multivariable-adjusted logistic regression models of NAFLD and advanced fibrosis. In 2892 adults, the prevalence of NAFLD and advanced fibrosis was 35.6% and 5.6%, respectively. We found that high adherence to U.S. dietary recommendations (highest vs. lowest HEI-2015 tertile) and more PA (middle tertile vs. lowest) were associated with reduced odds of NAFLD (Adjusted OR and 95% CI; 0.60 (0.44, 0.84) and 0.65 (0.42, 0.99), respectively). More PA was inversely associated with advanced fibrosis (Adjusted OR = 0.35, 95%CI 0.16, 0.75). Diet quality and PA are associated with reduced odds of NAFLD, and PA may be critical even for those with advanced liver disease. Using the stock transaction records of individual investors from a large brokerage firm in China, we explore the impact of Confucian culture on the gambling preferences of individual investors. After a series of tests, we find a significant negative relationship between Confucianism and the lottery-type stock preference of individual investors, indicating that Confucian culture inhibits gambling preferences in stock investment. This effect is more pronounced for female investors, middle-aged investors and investors in regions with higher gambling sentiment. Comprehensive Summary: The organic cocrystal strategy has provided a convenient and efficient platform for preparing organic photothermal materials. However, the rapidly directional preparation of cocrystals with desirable photothermal properties remains challenging due to a lack of suitable design ideas. Here, two new photothermal cocrystals, MTC and MFC, based on acceptor molecules (TCNQ and F4TCNQ) with different electron‐withdrawing capacities were quickly prepared by the coprecipitation method, aiming to explore the effect of charge transfer (CT) interaction on photothermal properties. Compared with MTC, the stronger intermolecular CT interaction in MFC facilitates extending the absorption range (from the NIR‐I to the NIR‐II region) and enhancing the non‐radiative transition process. Under the 808 nm laser irradiation, the photothermal conversion efficiency (PCE) of MFC is 54.6%, whereas MTC displays a mere 36.8%. The MFC cocrystal was further combined with a flexible polymer substrate (HPDMS) to prepare a flexible wearable heater (HPDMS@MFC), which exhibits excellent NIR‐II photothermal performance. However, it is still a huge challenge but significant to construct porous hetero‐phase nanostructures with adjustable band structures. As a kind of unique porous crystalline materials, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) might be the appropriate candidate, but the MOF‐based hetero‐phase is rarely reported. Background: There is a lack of data on the epidemiology of IBS in pregnant and postpartum patients in the United States. Methods: A retrospective claims analysis was conducted in a cohort of 1,618,379 patients with ≥1 delivery hospitalization between 2013–2019 utilizing ICD‐9 and ICD‐10 codes after merging inpatient and outpatient claims. Obstetric, psychological, and other medical comorbidities were also examined. Key Results: The prevalence of IBS in our cohort was 1.38%. Pregnant and postpartum patients with IBS were more likely to have psychological comorbidities including depression (OR 2.93, CI 2.83–3.03), postpartum depression (OR 3.00, CI 2.91–3.09), and anxiety (OR 3.74, CI 3.64–3.84). They were also more likely to have migraines (OR 3.04, CI 2.94–3.15) and connective tissue disease or autoimmune disease (OR 3.54, CI 3.22–3.89). Conclusion: The prevalence of IBS in pregnant and postpartum patients in a large claims database was 1.38%. Pregnant and postpartum patients with IBS have a higher odd of psychological comorbidities in addition to medical comorbidities such as migraines, connective tissue, and autoimmune disease. Future studies should focus on validating and characterizing the impact and directionality of co‐existing comorbidities on IBS severity and the development of new‐onset IBS during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Two-dimensional (2D) organic semiconducting single crystals (OSSCs) combine the advantages of OSSCs and 2D molecular materials, and currently, are an important and hot research topic in the field of organic optoelectronics and 2D materials. Growth of large-sized 2D OSSCs with controlled thickness is highly important for fundamental research and practical application, which is still a challenging task. Liquid surfaces can provide ideal platforms for growth of large-scale and layer-controlled 2D OSSCs because their surfaces are molecularly flat and free-defect, the "coffee-ring" effect can be effectively suppressed on liquid surfaces, and the improved spread area of organic semiconductor solutions on liquid surfaces. This perspective concentrates on recent advances in the growth of large-area and layer-controlled 2D OSSCs on liquid surfaces; the optoelectronic applications based on 2D OSSCs, as well as the challenges and outlooks in the field, are also discussed. Herein, we developed a reversible complexation mediated polymerization (RCMP) starting with a complex of iodine and organic salt as a deactivator and a thermal initiator for continuous regeneration of the organic salt activator. This novel polymerization method can be called as initiators for continuous activator regeneration (ICAR) RCMP, as inspired by the denomination of ICAR ATRP. The synthesis of poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) (Mw/Mn < 1.3) with good controllability was achieved via this technique when the concentration of the deactivator complex was as low as dozens of ppm. The studied three kinds of iodine complexes showed high control on the polymerization of MMA. The effects of initiator and deactivator complex concentration on the polymerization process were researched in detail. Furthermore, the accessibility of PMMA prepared by ICAR RCMP to chain extension and block copolymerization confirmed that this novel polymerization approach afforded polymers with high chain-end fidelity. To realize these various applications, it is urgently needed for color‐tunable emission in OLETs, but remains a great challenge as a result of the difficulty for designing organic semiconductors simultaneously integrating high carrier mobility, strong solid‐state emission, and the ability for potential tunable colors. Herein, a high mobility emissive excimer organic semiconductor, 2,7‐di(2‐anthryl)‐9H‐fluorene (2,7‐DAF) was reasonably designed by introducing a rotatable carbon–carbon single bond connecting two anthracene groups at the 2,7‐sites of fluorene, and the small torsion angles simultaneously guarantee effective conjugation and suppress fluorescence quenching. Indeed, the unique stable dimer arrangement and herringbone packing mode of 2,7‐DAF single crystal enables its superior integrated optoelectronic properties with high carrier mobility of 2.16 cm2 ⋅ V−1 ⋅ s−1, and strong excimer emission with absolute photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 47.4 %. Organic semiconductor crystals (OSCs) present better charge transport characteristics than organic semiconductor films. OSCs have captured worldwide attention because they show great potential for optoelectronic devices, including organic field-effect transistors, active-matrix organic light-emitting diodes, radio frequency identification tags, and sensors. Well-patterned OSCs minimize crosstalk between neighboring devices and decrease leakage current. Therefore, patterning OSCs offers more opportunities for advanced optoelectronic applications. Objective: Oncogenic alternation in RET is one of the important targets of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Pralsetinib has shown great efficacy in RET fusion-positive NSCLC, but a series of adverse reactions will inevitably occur in the meantime. We aimed to explore the clinical characteristics of patients with pneumonia and recognition it in early stage, so patients could longer benefit from pralsetinib. Methods: This is a multicenter, retrospective study. RET fusion-positive advanced NSCLC patients who developed pneumonia during pralsetinib treatment from January 2020 to December 2022 were included. Clinical data, time to onset of pneumonia, methods of pneumonia diagnosis, treatment with pneumonia, prognosis of pneumonia, and the effect of pneumonia on the efficacy of pralsetinib. Results: A total of 8 patients with pneumonia were included in the study, most of which were non-smoking female patients and the main fusion gene was KIF5B (87.5%), which was consistent with the general characteristics of RET fusion population. The median occurrence time of pralsetinib-associated pneumonia was 2.15 (range 1.1–6.63) months. All patients were infected by opportunistic pathogens, and the most common pathogen was human herpesviruses and pneumospora yerbii. Fever was always the first symptom, and timely anti-infective treatment including antibiotics, antiviral drugs, and antifungal drugs was effective. Until February 28, 2023, the median follow-up time was 18.7 months, the mean PFS of patients was 17.4 months, and the median PFS was not reached. Fortunately, patients who restarted pralsetinib after infection control continued to benefit. Conclusions: Opportunistic infection may be a unique adverse effect of pralsetinib. During the treatment of pralsetinib, we should be vigilant about the occurrence of pneumonia and achieve early recognition and timely treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Owing to their high carrier recombination speed and low spectral utilization, it is difficult to further improve the performance of photocatalysts. In this study, a novel metal–organic framework (MOF) self‐assembled cocrystal material is developed. The guest molecule is inserted and self‐assembled with the existing MOF ligand to form an organic cocrystal. The highly ordered molecular arrangement and tight intermolecular distances between donor and acceptor molecules promote a strong π–π charge transfer interaction, facilitating the migration and separation of photogenerated charge carriers. In addition, efficient redshifts in the absorption wavelength enhance the response to visible light. Further, the unique porous structure of MOFs is beneficial for increasing the interfacial area of photocatalytic reactions, and metal ions can become the center of photogenerated carrier capture, effectively inhibiting carrier recombination. Consequently, the MOF cocrystal demonstrates remarkable efficiency in the degradation of pollutants in water, achieving a noteworthy removal efficiency of 95.31% within 15 min. Moreover, the photocatalyic reaction kinetics constant of the MOF cocrystal is 46.5 times higher, indicating the success of this new strategy in developing highly efficient photocatalytic systems. Traditional‐metal‐containing scintillators are widely used in X‐ray imaging due to their efficient X‐ray absorption and output of visible light. However, they suffer from heavy‐metal toxicity, environmental stability, harsh preparation, and afterglow. Metal‐free organic scintillators show a rising momentum, especially organic‐halogen‐containing molecules. Halogens are introduced to improve their X‐ray absorption, but the resulting increase in spin–orbit coupling leads to significant delayed fluorescence or phosphorescence, affecting the response speed to X‐rays. Moreover, there is still insufficient practice in fabricating microstructured organic scintillators for high spatial resolution of imaging. Herein, the preparation of nano organic co‐crystals (t‐Bpe‐IFB co‐crystal, abbreviated as BIC, t‐Bpe for trans‐1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethylene, and IFB for 1,3,5‐trifluoro‐2,4,6‐triiodobenzene) and its application in X‐ray imaging are explored. In contrast to previous single organic‐halogen‐containing molecules, BIC generates nanosecond‐scale fluorescence through the charge‐transfer state of the donor–acceptor. Its high iodine content ensures large X‐ray absorption, strong radioluminescence, and a low detection limit of 85 nGyair s−1. The composite film made of nano‐sized BICs and polydimethylsiloxane exhibits a high spatial resolution of 16.7 lp mm−1. In order to meet the increasingly stringent emission standards, a wide variety of lightweight materials are accounting for an increasing proportion in the white-body of vehicle. Many new joining technologies have been developed to connect these lightweight materials. Mechanical clinching is an effective alternative technique to join similar and dissimilar lightweight materials, which has been widely used in automotive industry. Understanding the fatigue properties of clinched joints is extremely significant as fatigue is the dominant failure mode in engineering practice. This paper provides a systematic review on the research progress of fatigue behaviour of clinched joints, including fatigue strength, failure mechanism, influencing factors, and life estimation model. It has been found that clinched joints performed superior fatigue resistance than traditional welding joints, and the failure modes were divided into neck fracture, bottom pull-out, upper sheet fracture, and lower sheet fracture. The recent development of fatigue life estimation model is described with brief case study from the literature. In short, the main purpose of the present article is to figure out the development roadmap of fatigue behaviour investigation of clinched joints and provide some suggestions for further study. In the past 2 years, three earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and above occurred consecutively in Qinghai province, China, i.e., the 22 May 2021 Ms7.4 Maduo, 8 January 2022 Ms6.9 Menyuan, and 26 March 2022 Ms6.0 Delingha earthquakes. The hydrological observation instruments set up by the China Earthquake Administration allow us to study the dynamic processes in the well-aquifer systems during the establishment of criticality. Particularly, the observations played an important role in the prediction of the 8 January 2022 Ms6.9 Menyuan earthquake that was approved by the People's Government of Qinghai province. This work presents the hydrological data recorded by 7 stations to show the short-term anomalies before these earthquakes. To explore the performance of the hydrological observations in detecting earthquakes that occurred on different active tectonic blocks, we calculate the relative amplitudes of the pre-seismic changes. Results indicate that markedly pre-seismic change is found if the observation station and the detection earthquake are on the same block, and moderate change is found if they are on the adjacent blocks, while the precursor is hard to be identified if they are on the separated blocks. The variations in the hydrological responses may be caused by the strength weakening (or dilatancy) of source media. And the increased volumes in the crust can be evidenced by the changes in the geodetic time series in the same neighborhoods and during the same period, augmenting stress loading between the blocks. [Display omitted] Tissue-equivalent pure organic semiconducting crystals (OSCs) have unique advantages in direct X-ray detectors (DXDs), especially for biological tissue fluoroscopy, but their low carrier mobility and inherent weak absorption restrict the limit-of-detection (LoD) and sensitivity of DXDs. High-mobility OSCs theoretically facilitate charge collection and performance leaps, however, they are rare and suffer from poor solubility due to high conjugation, leading to nearly impossible crystal growth from solution and subsequent device applications. Here we report an ingenious solution-processed crystal-growth and high-performance DXD using 2,6-diphenylanthracene (2,6-DPA), a high-mobility OSC we developed recently. In contrast to previous OSCs, high-mobility 2,6-DPA exhibits low dark current density and large photoconductive gain, resulting in record-breaking LoD of <85 nGy air s−1 and sensitivity of >103 μC Gy air −1 cm−2. Compared with semiconductors containing high- Z atoms (Z is atomic number), the accuracy of 2,6-DPA based DXDs is not affected by near-edge absorption effects. Moreover, the non-linear relationship between irradiation current and dose rate is confirmed as a high injection effect. Background: Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a serious side effect of chemotherapy with poorly understood mechanisms and few treatments. High-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1)-induced neuroinflammation is the main cause of CIPN. Here, we aimed to illustrate the role of the macrophage scavenger receptor A1 (SR-A1) in HMGB1 clearance and CIPN resolution. Methods: Oxaliplatin (L-OHP) was used to establish a CIPN model. Recombinant HMGB1 (rHMGB1) (his tag) was used to evaluate the phagocytosis of HMGB1 by macrophages. Results: In the clinic, HMGB1 expression and MMP-9 activity were increased in the plasma of patients with CIPN. Plasma HMGB1 expression was positively correlated with the cumulative dose of L-OHP and the visual analog scale. In vitro, engulfment and degradation of rHMGB1 increased and inflammatory factor expression decreased after AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) activation. Neutralizing antibodies, inhibitors, or knockout of SR-A1 abolished the effects of AMPK activation on rHMGB1 engulfment. In vivo, AMPK activation increased SR-A1 expression in the dorsal root ganglion, decreased plasma HMGB1 expression and MMP-9 activity, and attenuated CIPN, which was abolished by AMPK inhibition or SR-A1 knockout in the CIPN mice model. Conclusion: Activation of the AMPK/SR-A1 axis alleviated CIPN by increasing macrophage-mediated HMGB1 engulfment and degradation. In this study, the influence of mortise–tenon joint structures on the cracking performance of wet joint interfaces in prefabricated reinforced concrete ribbed beam bridges was evaluated by experimentally investigating four specimens involving different joint structures and theoretically analyzing one specimen with no joint structure. The results revealed that mortise–tenon joint structures exhibited superior crack resistance compared to non‐jointed structures, vertical, inclined, and V‐shaped joints. In particular, the mortise–tenon joint specimen was observed to maintain excellent deflection shape during the failure stage, exhibit abundant development in the deflection curve, and demonstrate optimum stiffness among all joint specimens. Its cracking load was consistent with that of the non‐jointed specimen and 49% higher than the cracking loads of ordinary vertical joint specimens. The tenon structure exhibited good mechanical locking performance at the joint, thereby effectively limiting joint interface cracking. The tenon root was the weakest component of the tenon–tenon joint structure. The short‐term stiffness degeneration coefficient of the mortise–tenon joint specimen was 0.952. The findings indicated that the application of Chinese traditional mortise–tenon wood joint structure to the deck of a ribbed beam bridge is feasible. Organic semiconductors have received broad attention and research interest due to their unique integration of semiconducting properties with structural tunability, intrinsic flexibiltiy and low cost. In order to meet the requirements of organic electronic devices and their integrated circuits, p-type, n-type and ambipolar organic semiconductors are all necessary. However, due to the limitation in both material synthesis and device fabrication, the development of n-type and ambipolar materials is quite behind that of p-type materials. Recent development in synthetic methods of organic semiconductors greatly enriches the range of n-type and ambipolar materials. Moreover, the newly developed materials with multiple functions also put forward multi-functional device applications, including some emerging research areas. In this review, we give a timely summary on these impressive advances in n-type and ambipolar organic semiconductors with a special focus on their synthesis methods and advanced materials with enhanced properties of charge carrier mobility, integration of high mobility and strong emission and thermoelectric properties. Two stable triarylmethyl radicals with one or two anthryl substitutions are synthesized in gram scale, and are isolated in the crystalline state. Detailed structural elucidation with X-ray crystallographic analysis and DFT calculations revealed that the twisted structure is more energetically favorable than the folded structure, and consequently, the spin density is mainly localized at the methyl carbon. A rapid method for determination of parabens preservatives (methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, isopropyl paraben, propyl paraben, isobutyl paraben, and butyl paraben) in flavors was established by using supercritical fluid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry combined with dispersive solid‐phase extraction. After adding methanol and primary secondary amine to the sample simultaneously, high extraction efficiency and good sample cleanup could be obtained by simple shaking. Parabens were well separated on a Chiralpak IG‐3 column in 6 min by gradient elution. Recoveries from spiked blank samples at 0.5, 1.0, and 5.0 mg/kg were determined to be 88.3–106.6%with relative standard deviations less than 8.0%. All analytes achieved good linear relation (r ≥ 0.999 2). The limits of detection for all analytes ranged from 0.03 to 0.09 mg/kg and the limits of quantification from 0.11 to 0.31 mg/kg, respectively. A total of 20 actual samples were successfully analyzed by taking the proposed method. To combat the contaminating effects of heavy-metal ions on water resources, we prepared blue photonitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (NCDs) from Salix psammophila (SP) as a raw material, doped them into a microcrystalline cellulose hydrogel, and successfully created a composite hydrogel (NCDs-SP-MCC-gels) for concurrent fluorescence detection and Fe3+ adsorption. The NCDs-SP-MCC-gels was examined for their shape, chemical composition, fluorescence characteristics, and adsorption behaviors. Results demonstrated that the NCDs-SP-MCC-gels displayed a broad linear range of Fe3+ fluorescence response (200–1000 mg/L; detection limit = 3.90583 mg/L) and a high adsorption capacity for Fe3+ (610 mg/g). The adsorption data fitted the Langmuir and pseudo-second-order models well. Further research was conducted on Fe3+ detection and adsorption onto the NCDs-SP-MCC-gels. Integrating high charge‐carrier mobility and low‐threshold lasing action in an organic semiconductor is crucial for the realization of an electrically pumped laser, but remains a great challenge. Herein, we present an organic semiconductor, named as 2,7‐di(2‐naphthyl)‐9H‐fluorene (LD‐2), which shows an unexpected high charge‐carrier mobility of 2.7 cm2 V−1 s−1 and low‐threshold lasing characteristic of 9.43 μJ cm−2 and 9.93 μJ cm−2 and high‐quality factor (Q) of 2131 and 1684 at emission peaks of 420 and 443 nm, respectively. Detailed theoretical calculations and photophysical data analysis demonstrate that a large intermolecular transfer integral of 10.36–45.16 meV together with a fast radiative transition rate of 8.0×108 s−1 are responsible for the achievement of the superior integrated optoelectronic properties in the LD‐2 crystal. These optoelectronic performances of LD‐2 are among the highest reported low‐threshold lasing organic semiconductors with efficient charge transport, suggesting its promise for research of electrically pumped organic lasers (EPOLs). This work reported the synthesis of Ce‐MOF and Nd‐MOF adsorption materials using the solvothermal method with the rare earth metals Ce3+ and Nd3+ as the particle center and discussed the adsorption effect of the two synthesized nanomaterials on the VOCs released by dry wood. The porous morphology of the material increases the benzene gas contact area. The maximum adsorption capacity of benzene, according to the Langmuir model, is 128.98 mg/g and 132.22 mg/g, respectively. The method has a large adsorption capacity, good adsorption effect, non‐toxic and harmless, low recycling cost, recyclable multiple times, simple operation, stable structure, no secondary environmental pollution, etc., and has good application prospects in the wood drying industry. As a novel family of 2D materials, MXenes have drawn intensive interests owing to its fascinating property profile. The ability to grow high‐quality MXenes in a controllable way would in turn further promote the development of fabrication techniques and expand wide advanced applications. Then 2D MXenes crystals are highly desirable and many approaches have been explored to realize the mass production. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) provides compelling benefits over other alternatives in controllability, uniformity and scalability. In this review, the recent advances in growth of MXenes crystals by CVD method will comprehensively present. Several typical kinds of MXenes crystals are demonstrated to be fabricated with a precise control in terms of size, morphology and thickness. Further, a series of MXenes heterostructures are constructed including vertical and lateral spatial orientations. Then, the properties and applications of MXenes crystals are exhibited, of which superconductivity and electrochemical catalysts will be mainly emphasized. Finally, the authors put forward views on the future development in the synthesis of MXenes. With continuous efforts devoted, a bright future of MXenes crystals prepared by CVD is expected. Zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) was evenly loaded on the surface of TiO2 doped with KI, using a solvent synthesis method, in order to produce a ZIF-8@TiO2 (KI) adsorption photocatalyst with good adsorption and photocatalytic properties. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDX, XPS, BET and UV-Vis. The photocatalytic efficiency of the material was obtained by photocatalytic tests. The results indicate that the doping with I inhibited the grain growth and reduced the crystallite size of TiO2, reduced the band gap width and improved the utilization rate for light. TiO2 (KI) was a single crystal of anatase titanium dioxide. The combination of ZIF-8 and TiO2 (KI) improved the specific surface area and increased the reaction site. The ZIF-8@TiO2 (KI) for Congo red was investigated to validate its photocatalytic performance. The optimal concentration of Congo red solution was 30 mg/L, and the amount of catalyst was proportional to the degradation efficiency. The degradation efficiency of ZIF-8@TiO2 (5%KI) was 76.42%, after being recycled four times. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
