Ordinary µ capture is useful for probing the neutrino nuclear responses for double beta decay especially in the β+ side region. The aim of this study is to measure the prompt and delayed gamma rays from NatMo (µ,xnv) and 100Mo (µ,xnv) reactions and calculate the relative capture strength, β(µ,E) using the Proton-Neutron Emission Model (PNEM). Experimental data of NatMo and 100Mo targets irradiated by negative µ at MuSIC Facility, Osaka University are analysed and the production rates, and the mass distribution were obtained. The experimental data was compared with the mass distribution calculation using PNEM to get the β(µ,E). The giant resonance (GR) like distribution was observed with the first GR peak around 12 MeV. In this paper, a Newtonian nanofluid flow over a stretching surface is considered to examine the effects of zero and nonzero normal fluxes towards the profiles of the flow. Using similarity transformations, the nonlinear governing equations of the model are reduced to a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The zero and nonzero normal fluxes appear in the initial condition for the nanoparticle volume fraction. A semi-analytic approach will be employed to solve this model. The expression of Sherwood number for the nanofluid flow under the zero normal flux condition which is claimed to be identically zero by previous researchers will be discussed. This article reports TL response for different glass modifier and doping concentration. Alkali oxides (Na2O and Li2O) and alkali earth oxide (CaO) will be used as a glass modifier for strontium borate based glass. The samples were prepared by melt quenching technique. Dy2O3 concentrations ranging from 0.00 to 0.70 mol% and exposure doses of 1 to 9 Gy will be varied. All glass samples exhibit the prominent peak temperature positioned at 186 oC to 232 °C. From all the samples, one of the samples shows an excellent linearity dose response, higher TL and show good reproducibility after 5 cycles exposure which is sodium strontium borate doped with 0.1 mol% Dy2O3 (optimum concentration). The studies of neutrino fundamental properties are widely investigated by double beta decay and inverse beta decay. Recent muon capture experiment provides promising ways to directly evaluate the neutrino nuclear responses. This study provides theoretical explanation for neutrino nuclear responses by muon capture experiment. The effects of muon binding energy towards nuclear excitation region and pre-equilibrium (PEQ) and equilibrium (EQ) neutron decay mode will be discussed. The interpretation of muon strength model by comparison of calculator output and recent experimental data may provide relevant information towards determination of nuclear matrix element (NME) and its missing parameter. Double diffusive convection in a binary viscoelastic fluid saturated porous layer in the presence of cross diffusion effects and internal heat source is studied analytically using linear stability analysis. The linear stability analysis is based on normal mode technique. The modified Darcy law for the viscoelastic fluid of the Oldroyd type is used to model the momentum equation. The onset criterion for stationary convection is derived analytically. The effects of Dufour, Soret and internal heat source parameters on the stability of the system are investigated. Double-diffusive natural convection in an open top square cavity and partially heated from the side is studied numerically. Constant temperatures and concentration are imposed along the right and left walls while the heat balance at the surface is assumed to obey Newton's law of cooling. The finite difference method is used to solve the dimensionless governing equations. The numerical results are reported for the effects of Marangoni number and different heater locations on the contours of streamlines, temperature and concentration. A new analytical method namely optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM) has been used in this study to find algorithm of approximate analytic solution for linear delay differential equations (DDEs). This approach provides us with a convenient way to control the convergence of approximation series and allows adjustment of convergence regions where necessary. The [formula]-expansion method is used for the first time to find the traveling wave solution of sixth-order thin-film equation when the balance numbers of which are not positive integers. New types of exact traveling wave solutions, such as, solitary wave solutions are obtained to the sixth-order thin-film equation and special case (n = 3), when the parameters are taken at special values. The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of the location of the heater on natural convection in a square cavity in the presence of uniform external magnetic field. The effect of orientation of magnetic field is also studied. The left wall has been heated discretely with higher temperature, whereas the right wall is maintained at lower temperature. Three different locations of heater are taken along the left wall. The governing equations are solved by the finite volume method.
