In this paper we determined dual life insurance premiums with the combined status of last survivor and join life involving two insurance participants who have kinship relationships such as husband and wife, brother and sister, where they work in the same agency. In determining the policy that will be made by the life insurance party does not require two policies to be made, but simply have one policy. So by having one policy it is expected that the premium paid by life insurance participants to the life insurance company will be smaller than if you have to pay in two policies. Every individual has different mortality rates which affected by the underwriting factor. Underwriting factor is an observable factor. In this paper, we use the Generalized Linear Model (GLM) which can quantify this factor to determine the mortality rate. The parameters of the model will be estimated by the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method. The resulted mortality rate is used to determine life insurance premiums. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The standard mortality rate usually determines the life insurance premium. In this paper, the mortality rate will be estimated by involving observable risk factors such as gender and smoking status. For that purpose, the Cox regression model is applied. The partial maximum likelihood is used to estimate the parameters of the model and the Nelson-Aalen estimator is used to estimate the baseline hazard function. Then, we will calculate individual life insurance premiums based on the estimated value of the mortality rate.
