Abstract

The article presents a study that investigates the relative electromyographic (EMG) activation levels in rectus abdominis and external oblique during curl-up exercise. It stresses that curl or sit-up exercise is the most common and convenient ways in strengthening abdominal muscles. It also states that twenty healthy males were included in the study wherein results will be helpful in implicating muscle strength, physical rehabilitation and athletic training.
