Abstract

The Working Group on Women in Physics of the Chinese Physical Society in Beijing has worked since 2002 to improve the situation of women in physics in China. Because development is not balanced in vast mainland China-- remote areas lag behind in education--a new outreach activity, "Speech in Remote Areas and Inspiration to Young Students," was launched in 2013.
