The article describes the experience of using dynamic electroneurostimulation as an independent manipulation, dynamic electroneurostimulation in combination with a 20% aqueous solution of Dimexide, as well as applying only compresses with a 20% aqueous solution of Dimexide to the affected area. As experimental animals, horses with signs of damage to the tendon-ligamentous apparatus in the metacarpus or metatarsus were used, the horses were kept in one of the stables in the suburban area of the metropolis. To monitor the condition of the animal during therapy, general research methods were used, including - examination and palpation, and as an instrumental method, infrared thermography was used. During and after treatment, a decrease in pain response, swelling, and local temperature in the area of limb lesions was observed. Also, a transition of the degree of lameness from moderate to mild, until its complete disappearance was noted. The obtained results of the performed physiotherapeutic treatment show the effectiveness and feasibility of using the method of dynamic electroneurostimulation both as an independent method and in combination with a 20% aqueous solution of Dimexidum in the complex treatment of horses with limb injuries of various etiologies. Ergonomics is an applied scientific discipline that aims to understand the interactions between humans and other elements of the system to improve the well-being and efficiency of individuals, safety, and productivity of the system in general. Ergonomics helps to create a job that suits the worker so that the work becomes safer and more efficient. For this senior design project, we, applied Digital Human Modelling (DHM) simulation to overcome ergonomic challenges at warehouses in Kuwait. Warehouses are work environments where manual material handling duties are performed, which can result in various effects on the human body, including the development of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). MSDs are medical problems that impact the muscles, joints, tendons, nerves, and ligaments. Furthermore, the occurrence and severity of MSDs might increase if the problem is not addressed swiftly or proactively. Several ailments, including tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, gout, rotator cuff injuries, and tendonitis, are classified as MSDs. This project presents a DHM simulation study and its results conducted in various warehouses in Kuwait, including products-COOP, a factory that produces refrigerators and water coolers, and a worldwide logistics shipping company. The aim of the project is to address and find solutions for workplace MSDs. The Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) was employed to assess the physical well-being of the warehouse employees. Background: Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is used in the treatment of tendon injuries. However, the clinical effectiveness of this modality remains controversial with limited agreement on the most efficacious dosage and parameter choices. Purpose: To assess the clinical effectiveness of LLLT in the treatment of tendinopathy and the validity of current dosage recommendations for treatment. Method: Medical databases were searched from inception to 1st August 2008. Controlled clinical trials evaluating LLLT as a primary intervention for any tendinopathy were included in the review. Methodological quality was classified using the PEDro scale. Appropriateness of treatment parameters were assessed using established guidelines. Results: Twenty five trials met the inclusion criteria. There was conflicting findings from multiple trials: 12 showed positive effects and 13 were inconclusive or showed no effect. Dosages used in the 12 positive studies support the existence of an effective dosage window that closely resembled current guidelines. Where pooling of data was possible, LLLT showed a positive effect size; in high quality studies of lateral epicondylitis, participants’ grip strength was 9.59 Kg higher than the control group; for participants with Achilles tendinopathy, the effect was 13.6 mm less pain on a 100 mm visual analogue scale. Conclusion: This study found conflicting evidence as to the effectiveness of LLLT in the treatment of tendinopathy. However, an effective dosage window emerged showing benefit in the treatment of tendinopathy. Strong evidence exists from the 12 positive studies that positive outcomes are associated with the use of current dosage recommendations for the treatment of tendinopathy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A high-school male diver was diagnosed with tendinitis of the left supraspinatus secondary to shoulder dislocation during the water-entry stage of a 10-m dive. Land-based athletic rehabilitation consisting of 15 sessions was initiated at a hospital on the 5th day after the injury. After treatment with anti-inflammatory medication and immobilization by using a chest band, the patient performed stabilizing exercise of the glenohumeral joint and scapula abduction-adduction exercises from the 13th to the 22nd day. Aquatic rehabilitation (total, 6 times) was started on the 17th day; joint mobilization of the glenohumeral joint and mobilization with movements and motor control exercises were applied until just before competition. He started diving practice on the 21st day; then, he returned to the National Sports Festival competition and won the 2nd prize for the 10-m platform dive on the 26th day after injury.
